"Hold your horses..." Suitachi said as he appeared into view of the customers, "And less shouting... Even when you're an old familiar face." Looking at three faces, recognizing them all as usual, he continued to speak, "Yeah... Usually I'd have a witty comment about why I took so long, but I don't have anything now. OK? You'll have to do without wittiness. Just give me those products you bought previously. It's not my fault they decided to get better gear for it." Scratching the back of his head, a few curses leaving his lips at the size of the purchases, he walked back and started collecting stuff.

"At least you people immediately use your money again, so my losses aren't that big," Suitachi said as he returned with two bags full of Navi enhancements. Slowly and one-by-one he took the parts out and placed them in three groups, one for each customer. "I'm sure this it..." he said, looking over the items again.

11 Process Upgrades, 1 Speed Upgrade, 1 NaviCust Expansion for the fellow complaining about faulty stuff.

"Be happy I've got a crapload of these... Somehow I never run out of stock," Suitachi said as he took the money people paid extra while calculating it all to prevent mistakes. Eventually, he nodded and left again into the darkness that had brought him forth.

"Aw yea! Thanks, Suitachi!" Steve said, stuffing all of the upgrades into his pack.

"So, uh, hey Area." he added, somewhat quieter than usual. "Er, how's Divin... wait... Persephone?" he added, scratching his head puzzledly. "Did I miss something important here? What's going on?" he said somewhat hopelessly.

Looking to her side, noticing Steve, she laughed slightly and walked over to him to stand next to Persephone with her own PET. "Yeah... It's kind of complicated..." she said quietly as answer to Steve's question.

"The angel got a virus. She's in a better place now. I'm the replacement. Nice to meet you," Persephone said as she floated upwards towards Area's shoulder that had become her favourite spot to sit down. Placing the book against Area's neck, she sat down herself with her back against the book. "But it's a change for the better... Believe me..." Persephone added to it softly.

Area sighed, but then nodded at these comments. "She's correct. Divinity got some virus that was transforming her into a virus herself... Soryu is taking care of her," she said softly and looked down at her PET, causing Persephone to shift slightly. "But I've found a way to still use the Cross chips and even update them," said Area to try and not make Druidman or Steve worry about their efforts, "We just need the two of them to team up again and update the program on it. But we can do it later, if you want to."

"Hold on..." Virgil said while taking up the items he ordered. He overheard some of the conversation, perticuly the names.

"Excuse me miss, you wouldn't happen to know a Anthony Winnicot would you? Or been apart of some big mission lately?" Virgil asked Area, placing the upgrades in his pockets to install later on.

"Oh, I see." Steve said, still not quite getting it. "Well, I hope that everything works out okay for her." He said sympathetically, not sure whether he should pat her shoulder or something. "As for teaming up again, sure. I've heard a few rumors about your battle prowess, Persephone. Elemental user, huh? Well, that has always worked for Druidman, so I can't complain there." he said. "Oh shoot! Druidman! I left him online at home! I better get back and finish installing this stuff. I'll email you when we're done with our busting run. See ya, Area!" he said, as he huffed out of the door.

Leon walked into the shop, talking to Celeste. "Look, get over it. You've been ranting for a good half hour now." He paused a sec and tilted his head. "I also have to shut you down so I can uninstall the old crap and get the new crap, alright?"

"Whatever, jerk. I'll just be here, getting abused by you once I wake back up," she said spitefully, clearly still angry about being woken up.

Leon shook his head and shut down the PET, uninstalling the old version of the Process upgrade. He walked to the counter and placed his money on the counter as well as the PET.

"I'm here for that refund, I have an old Process Upgrade level 1 here. I'd like to put that money towards the new upgrades, 5 of them please. As well as an HP memory."

J.T. came to a halt just outside of the shop as his PET's screen went completely blank.... I just got finished installing the new upgrades, so something must be faulty with them. Better go get this taken care of while I'm here. He then turned around, opened the door and walked up to the counter and spoke to the shopkeep in an even tone... "Hey, Suitachi. One of the upgrades you sold me just crashed my PET." He showed the whited-out screen to the shop manager, then continued speaking, his tone still mild... "I know these things happen, so I'm not going to give you a hard time about it. Does neither of us any good... But, I'd like to get the parts swapped out if you don't mind, and fast...." He paused for a moment, looking at the screen and frowned... "My Navi's trapped on the Net...."

J.T. set the PET on the counter, the screen still blanked...

"No," answered Area as she looked at Virgil.

"No," answered Persephone quickly after Area spoke and made her hologram disappear, returning to the PET.

"I've been to a mission, yes. But I don't recall anyone named Anthony," Area continued and slowly walked away from him to get out of the building, "I'll let you know when I do." And with those words, she left the building and walked over to her motorcycle to roll out. Who would remember that pile of self-pity... she thought as she started the engine and disappeared from the premises.

"Yeah yeah," said Suitachi who had already started to walk to the back for the goods and continued in a louder volume, "Do you guys seriously think you're the first to come around for this? Every single Operator has been coming here." Once again he returned from the back and faced JT with a dull look on his face as he started to speak, "Be glad I HAVE them. Seeing as everyone comes here all the time, I doubt there's another store with the products. Customers are in no position to ask for even faster service. I'm only human." Taking the money from Leon, calculating it carefully, he put it into the cash register while taking JT's PET to make it a withdrawal for the purchases. "Done," he muttered and handed the PET back to JT while pushing the products forwards to each of them. A few seconds he turned around and flung his arms into the air, while muttering to himself.

"Must have been by chance that I found him in Scilabs then..." Virgil muttered when Area left the building. Maybe I should call it a day? Virgil then figured, before walking out of the store with his upgrades.

Bones walked in messing with his hair trying to work out the knots. He wasn't sure why he was truly here, but he pretty much had an idea. "I guess I have to trade in my old stuff, I'll miss it though." He wasn't sure how to remove his upgrades from American so he placed the PET on the tabletop. "I'm not as technological as people would think."

Leon shrugged. I'm glad I never went to work as a mainstream programmer. I'd probably have killed myself. He simply turned around and leaned on the counter, reaching dully behind him and installing his new updates one at a time.

As he did this he turned to the guy who he assumed Suitachi had chewed out, since Leon was too non-caring at the moment to think that he had possibly angered him. "Seems like he's had a rough day, eh?"

He reached behind him once more to get the next upgrade, only to realize that he was already done. "Anyways, good luck with the replacement upgrades," Leon said as he pushed himself off of the counter and turned the PET back on. He started to walk out of the store when he added absently mindedly "And I hope you're navi's ok."

He continued to the metroline and headed back home.

Timmy walked into the shop and calmly placed down the Process upgrades as he transfered the programs back into each.

"I am here to get a FULL refund on my signature upgrades, 11000z from them plus another 4000 so i can get my final speed upgrade for my navi and then i would like 6 of the new signature attacks, that should be another 2100z for them all. so i would like them now, and fast, My navi slept while i was on the plane and i would like them before she wakes up."

Timmy then placed down 6100z on the counter and waited.

Damian stumbled into the door breathlessly. Looking around at the crowd, he chokes out," I...<weeze>... am here for ...<cough>... the upgrade..."

"Suitachi." Kazuhiro said it with a period at the end; it was his second deliberately planned encounter that day with a familiar face. The shop was busy, extraordinarily so. It made him smile inside, and it made him sad, both for the same reasons. He felt at home among all the Netbattlers, and simultaneously, he did not. He felt like a veteran playing with a military club, graced with all the scars and pain of a veteran.

He felt a little vain. He also felt that he had earned it.

His next move would be by far the more impressive one, however.

"Sorry I'm back so soon," Kazu muttered jokingly as he placed a list of upgrades on the counter, along with a bank note written out to Suitachi. "I just couldn't wait to see you again, is all. Do you have this stuff for me, or am I going to have to buy from one of your competitors?"

The tiny, shimmering, slightly-transparent form of Soundman floated in through the door and looked around in the shop, floating his way over to this item and that, mentally summing up a list of what he wanted. He disappeared for a moment, then reappeared on a one Kazuhiro's head, speaking to the shopkeeper in his usual tone. "I'd like 5 Process Upgrades and a Speed+, please."

Sieg entered the shop, while scribbling some calculations on a piece of paper. Nearing the counter he seemed to reach a conclusion, as he put away his pencil, and took out a mess off "old" type process upgraders mixed with some money and... whatever was in his pockets before he put those in. Lost in deciphering the writings he made only a few minutes ago, he placed the stuff on the board.

- I'd like a refund on this stuff, and... while I'm here I'd like to spend it too...

Sieg checked the list one more time, and finally deciding on what to purchase, he asked for a 2 NC expanders, and 2 of the new type process upgraders.
