"What a line..." Joseph muttered under his breath, as he tapped his foot impatiently until it was his turn.
"I suppose I'm here for the reason the rest of this bunch are--" He gestured back at the crowd with his thumb. Let's get on with it, shall we?" Reluctantly, he placed his PET on the counter for whatever Suitachi was going to do...

"Whew..." Zanzo sighed. "That's a lot of Z. I don't think I can walk out of here with that much. Hm....I'll take two HPMemories and two more Process Upgrades instead....Um, as soon as you collect yourself, I mean." Zanzo said nervously. "Sorry..."
2 HPMems(3000 and 3500 for a total of 6500)
2 PUs(900 and 1000 for a total of 1900)

"Thank you once again for your help, I should get started on reworking the system... Could I get two Process upgrades?"
Keito reached into his pocket and pulled out his money. He gave Suitachi a slightly worried look.
"you should really take a vacation... a long one."

Suitachi scooped Zolem's money across the counter, handing him the upgrades without a further speck of attention. All of the NaviCust dealer's energies were focused on the Operators who had come in asking for their refunds.
He fiddled with Joseph's PET, murmuring under his breath to himself. "All right, that's 3000z back for the Process Upgrade you already have installed, and 1500 for the new ones. 1500z back," he said finally, going for the cash register. Suitachi absently handed the Zenny over to Joseph, turning to Zanzo instead.
He doled out the two HP Memories and the pair of Process Upgrades, shooting Zanzo a distracted thumbs-up as he dumped the money into the till. "No problem."
Before Keito could retact, Suitachi had grabbed his PET and was quickly flicking through menus as he had done to Joseph's. He dug around in the till, counted out some of the money that he had scooped up, and dropped 3500z on the counter in front of him. "Sorry, pal, but you've already got all the Process Upgrades that your Navi can handle. Come back in a couple of levels to get those Upgrades."
He looked around, as if expecting more customers, but seemed nearly surprised to see that the patrons on the other side of the counter were the only ones present.
"There you go," Suitachi finished as if he didn't really mean it, turning back to the rather hefty manual on the new series of Process Upgrades that lay open on the counter. As ever, the note stuck to the door of the shop was blatant: 'You've been Suitachi'd.'

Huffing with exertion, Rania ran into the shop past several patrons, checking her zenny account as she did on her PET's monitor. "Wow, we've really got more than I thought we did," Rania commented to her navi, surprised that they'd made so much over just a week or two.
"What all are you buying? Don't go skimpy! A real warrior is adventurous with all of his body and person, including his wallet!" MeleeMan reminded her, thinking greedily of all of the things they could obtain with the nearly 20000 zenny.
Rania smiled back, but didn't answer, since she'd already made it to the counter. For a moment she was surprised, thinking that she saw Suien behind the counter, but then she realized that it was just Suitachi, the store-owner who bore such a strong resemblance to her friend. "Hello, Mr. Suitachi," she bowed to address him. "There are several items that I'm looking to purchase today. For starters, I'd like a second level speed upgrade for 10000 zenny, then added to that, an HP memory for 3000. Noting the additional navi levels that come from buying these items, I ask from you three process upgrades, totalling up to 3300 zenny. Altogether, this should cost 16300," she said, laying the money onto the counter and resting her fists clamped together in front of her.
"Why do you always act so formal to the shopkeeps, anyways?" MeleeMan asked, raising an eyebrow behind his thick visor.
((Also need 9 PUs for current level.))

"Um, thank you." Zolem said, bowing, and accidentally knocking over an (empty) display for customizer parts. "I'm so sorry!" he said, picking it up and knocking over a cardboard cutout advertising the refunds. While standing that one up while offering apollogies, he accidentally knocks over a display of PET casings, which he hastily starts to clean up and put back on the shelf. Emberased, he sprints away, not noticing that in the process he knocked everything over again.

(PRETEND I'M SUITACHI)
Nodding and muttering something inaudible along the lines of "wish I hadn't helped create this new system," Suitachi roughly grabbed the upgrades and went back into the rear of the shop.

Duke walked into the shop and placed the corrupted upgrades on the counter. Looking up at the prices for the new upgrades for a second, he said "Okay, here's the deal. These things," he indicated the old upgrades, "are corrupted beyond repair. I'd like a refund for them and..." he looked at the details of the new Process Upgrades. "I believe that's 17000z refunded, minus...I'll need eleven of these to stand any chance of holding the data I had with the old attack programs, so minus 6600z for those, so I should get 10400z back."
"Don't worry though, you'll probably be getting that back soon. And more."
((Okay, I got overcharged for one of my level 2s, so I get 17000 back instead of 16000. Everything else is already said. Cashing in and buying 11 PUs.))

Let me guess, they suddenly stopped working? Yeah, they're now obsolete. Here's the new upgrades, and everything else.
Handing Duke the new upgrades, he roughly grabbed the old ones and tossed them across the room to land in a trash can.
Come back if they give you any problems.

"You...might say that," Duke said, not bothering to explain everything else that had happened because of them and walking out of the shop.

Shin entered the shop with a dismal look on his face.
"Errr... it seems my Process Upgrades aren't functioning as well as they are anymore," Shin said, handing over his PET. "So, can I get a refund and buy 10 of those new ones? That's 5500z right? So, just hand me 500z and those new ones back I guess," Shin asked politely, calculating the numbers in his head.

"Thanks again, Sui. I really owe you one for the trouble." Zanzo responded before turning to Keito. "We ready to head out?" He asked him, heading out and back to Yoka...

Keito gave him a quick nod and retrieved his PET. As he was walking out the door, he turned around and gave suitachi a light bow.

"Yeah, I've been getting that a lot lately," Suitachi said, taking Shin's old upgrades and tossing them randomly behind him. Ducking beneath the counter for a minute, he handed Shin the new upgrades and 500z. "Come back if you have any problems."

"Yo, your Sig junk is faulty." Virgil said, while entering the store. He walked to the counter and placed his PET on it. "May I have a Refund for your old sig produces? And spend that money on the a lvl 2 Speed, a navi cust expastion, and 11 of the new PUs?
((In other words... getting the 16000 from refund, getting the 8 PUs from lvl, having what is in my sig left over... then buying my second speed, a navicust expation, and three more PUs... total not inculding the 8 PUs, 14000 zenny))

Steve came into the shop, quickly. He had read the flyer over a hundred times on his way here. He came up to the counter.
"Hey Suitachi. I'm here for this new Signature attack thing." he said, setting his PET down in front of him. "It says I qualify for 16000 Zenny salary for trying this out. But keep that, and take this stuff too..." he added, pulling out most of the rest of his money. Should be enough for two Speed Upgrades, and then all of the new Sig Upgrades for my level." he said, giddy as a schoolboy.

Snatching up his PET greedily, Joseph took a look at the underworkings of the new system--
Ingenious. Instead of having set partitions for the PET's CPU, the new system housed instead a free form partition system, where processing power and memory would be dedicated on the fly to the Navi, instead of being doled out in set amounts...
This would be interesting. Wasting no time, Joseph began tweaking with Frag's configuration, seeking out the six sealed data files--
"Rezz, Opti, Dire... It's been awhile, hasn't it?" His eyes smiling, Joseph stared down the three former Blockoids. "Don't bother speaking. Just listen."
"See, with this new upgrade, Frag can now minimally support some of you actively now. That's right, you three will actually be linked to his life-support." Taking a pause to let this set in, Joseph went on.
"I take it you understand your responsibilities. I leave you to it." Grinning, Joseph dismissed the three personas, the three primary colors lighting up on Frag's newly redesigned body--
Time for a test run. Without another word, Joseph stormed out of the shop, PET in hand.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" cackled Persephone, standing on Area's shoulder, as the two entered the store, "GOOD DAY, SUITACHI!" The little Navi held one arm in the sky while holding the book next to her, one hand on its side and the other side of the book on Area's shoulder.
"Keep it cool, OK?" Area muttered, almost feeling embarrassed for the outburst of the Navi, "You'd better not do this every time we come here." She continued to walk on, placing the PET on the counter and looking around for faces she'd recognize, and then spotted Steve standing at the counter as well. Then it occured to her that Divinity wasn't with her anymore, looking downwards at her PET to find Persephone was missing.
"Oy," Persephone said, having floated away from the PET to get closer to Steve, "Don't I recognize you...? These memories are a bit screwy, but..." Moving through her database to find the name of the person she eventually found the name of the Operator and Navi, including the files of the Cross Divinity had made before while also notes some changes should be made on the appearance. "Oh... OH," Persephone uttered at the discovery of the kiss in her memory banks, "Hehe. Nice to meet you... Steve and Druidman."
"Whatever..." Area muttered as she held her hand against her forehead. Holding her head upwards again, she started to look for Suitachi and took out a piece of paper that had some calculations written on them so she wouldn't forget. "I've come for the new goods in store. Something about an update on the Signature Program system...? I'm not really sure what to think of this though... Mind explaining? Oh, and 3 HP Memories too..."
