The "Everything you ever wanted to know" Thread

That's pushing it, PA. I think these things are limited to minor mechanical fluff outside of battle. Or at least it should be.
After all, Gunner has an infinite Holster, but that doesn't mean he can draw more powerful weapons... Except for sigs, of course.
Exactly.

For instance, we've allowed people using vulcans as one shot or a fist or something to do so, but that doesn't mean it becomes one solid hit of 30. I just count it as the punch could skim or something to negate what would have been a missed shot of the vulcan.
Nope, there can be no mechanical advantage whatsoever. Even as a tiny kitty, Nikko is just as easy to hit as normal. Likewise, if someone had a Godzilla.GMO or somthing and became huge, it'd be just as likely to miss as normal.
I was referring to using it to get out of a situation in a creative way.

For instance, in a fight between gorilla_warfare.EXE and Mayrune.EXE of the old boards, they both ended up dbeing dropped into a spiked pit. They were supposed to get out of the situation, but weren't told how. Gorrila used a sword to dig into the wall and Mayrune used a beam sig that ended up breaking her arm and deleting her.

This is the sort of thing where it would work. It would essentially be fluff. Ergo:
Nikko uses her light frame and cat claws to dash up whe walls.

That sort of thing.
Can a single Signature Attack have more than one use?

For instance, my Signature Attack creates 2 1-hit barriers on myself or someone else. Could I, if I wanted, change that to the following:
- Option1: 2 1-hit barriers to target of my liking.
- Option2: 40 HP Heal to target of my liking.
- Option3: 20 HP Heal + Recovery of Non-NaviCust Bugs to target of my liking.
- Can only pick one option when activating this Signature Attack.
- 2 turn cooldown.
Seems kind of like god moding. If it was allowed, then everyone could just register a dozen attacks in one, just so that they could do whatever depending on the situation. There'd be no stopping someone from saying 'does 60 unless they're blocking, then it does 40 +Break. Of course, if I'm at less than half HP, I can choose to heal 60 instead. Also, if my allies were taking a beating, I could give them each 20 hit barriers instead. If things were really bad, it could also allow me to escape." Yeah, that's a bit much.
But they don't have to accept huge things like that.

They won't accept twelve effects. They may accept 3.
I think that there was always some sort of penalty for having multi-use signature attacks. You'd probably have to bump the cooldown to either 3 turns or 4 turns to justify having such versiltility. Valis' Armoury.EXE had a two-function, either-or signature attack that had to have its cooldown boosted by one turn, so I'm assuming having three effects would mean an additional 2 turns of cooldown for all effects.
I don't think it would be a two turn cooldown, unless it was fifth sig.
((Double Post. Sorry.))

I have another question about history.

Bo, and American entered the tourney. I gave a full name for Bo, so that there would be no plotholes.

Would Bo and American still have been in the tourney? And if so, would my Bo remember it? Does my Bo know anything during the seven years? Or at least the tourney? Since it seems that we have gotten rid of it.
Are the GMO missions up and running? Also...Should I just have Rayth pretend to be someone else when requesting the mission?

Also, do I need to exchange my voucher at the store in order to get my next sig? Or should I just post the information in the registration area?

heh....I've tried to register like that one but they rejected it(i think i did told you how that sig-atk works, or not)....

I also got a question about sig-atk....

since we've developed a new sig-atk system....can I have something like this....

lvl 1 - fires laser beam with 60 damage....
lvl 2- fires dozens of laser beam, 20 damage to all....laser beam attack(lvl 1) can stun enemy...

as you can see, buying next process upgrade will let low lvl sig atk got 'passive' ability....
First off, the "to all" clause can't apply to anything less than a fifth-level sig.
Secondly, 10 damage isn't enough for a stun... I think.
But otherwise, I don't see why not. Of course, to add stun you'd have to nerf the damage and cooldown appropriately.
Would it be allowed to have Cross Fusion in a subplot with a fun storyline?
And will there be any side events soon? I mean, besides the main events planned for the future. I may know something fun I might suggest after making an Event Suggestion thread if necessary.
Returning to my previous question...
Has anyone actually implemented a subplot yet?
That includes the antics on the old forum.
I kind of want to know how many years it been since the rockman series in turm of history.
27 years or so?
And yes, I think Majin and Aim were starting to form thwir subplots but never really got to them.
If I was, I wasn't doing it on purpose, though I'm pretty sure Aim got his approved. I think Planey also got one passed, but that was before everything went to hell and him and the mod in charge of it stopped coming.... Demon had something up his sleeve, too. Though yeah, Subplots are uncommon.
Well....If majin means me by saying Planey......I don't really like being called that but O well..... I don't really remember signing up for one, but then again, I left in the summer due to forgeting to remember coming back, so it's been a long time.

But boy, was the undernet fun!!!!

and also, thanks revivedsin.... I'm probly going to get a new navi and now I think it's going to be older then my net op XO
My history was approved, but I never finished the actual Subplot idea.
