Asymptote's Hunting

[AsFXP > 24.]

"Ah, are we in some kind of storage area now?" muttered Eris as she looked around the area, stepping around the field of crate-sized cubes. Laughing like an innocent girl, she ran about the cubes while Asymptote stopped slightly in front. She noticed that he had stopped after a few moments, and peered over in curiosity. "...?" The area quickly turned out to be a hostile location as the viruses revealed themselves from behind the cubes, making Eris pause for a moment. There were quite a few more than the last time they encountered some in the high-ceilinged area, amounting to about fourteen in total.

It was then that Asymptote told her of his battle plan, and she listened intently, intending to learn more from her impromptu "battle teacher". "Okay! I'll do my best!" she exclaimed. However, she wondered, how would Asymptote protect himself in the flatlands? Previously, she had seen him use the terrain to his advantage, but for what it was worth, the cubes were shorter than he was, and he simply looked somewhat foolish running about the cubes. She also heard something about a "UFO stealing chips", and looked about. True to Joseph's words, there was a red flying saucer hovering about a nearby cube.

"Master! I need something for that UFO!" she said. "Also the burning tail fire thing from earlier!"

"Burning tail fire thing...?" said Charles, slightly confused as he picked up the RedWave as well as the SandWorm chips. As he slotted in the SandWorm, he saw the other hulking Navi's movements, and was slightly confused as he saw that he appeared to not have any intent of getting himself onto any of the data cubes. Considering the nature and intensity of the RedWave's attack, it would be pretty devastating if he was to get hit by friendly fire. Scratching his head, he sighed as he picked up another chip to go along with it.

"At least I'm actually operating now, I guess..."

Meanwhile, as Charles was lamenting his own soft-heartedness, the red UFO hiding behind the data cube would find itself being suddenly flanked by a flesh beast summoned by Eris's new chip, as it tore through the metal flooring to devour it whole. "Yeah! Got 'em!" she yelled, jumping around with glee. Underneath her feet, the metal began to melt into red-hot lava and started to spread out, illuminating her dance with a strangely sinister light. "Okay, next is... Hm?"

Eventually, she noticed the anomaly in her chip queue, as an extra one had been added--the Totem chip was waiting to be activated. However, instead of immediately activating it, she stood in place for a moment. Why did her master send her something extra? There must have been some kind of reason. Her head began to hurt after a while, and the lava making it hot and bothersome to think didn't help matters. "Anyway, I'll just activate it over there and think about it later," she said to herself. Then, she covered her mouth for a moment, before belching out a globule of black fluid.

"Urp... Excuse me," she said, as she threw the chunk of viscous fluid into the lava, where it emitted a high-pitched scream before dissolving into the molten rock. Suddenly, the ground shook somewhere nearby, and a pillar of what appeared to be an amalgam of fused meat and bones burst up from between the metal panels. In some strange turn of events, the area that Eris had chosen to summon the pillar had been directly underneath Asymptote's feet, which would launch him into the air in a very undignified manner. The pillar spun about, revealing a grotesque half-charred face on one of its sides, which appeared to be permanently stuck in an expression of agony. Its lopsided mouth was half-open, from which it spat out a plume of fire towards a nearby group of viruses.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!"

Back to Eris herself, she was already starting up the next attack, as her tail appeared to have a life of its own, dragging her around before sinking its tailhead into the lava pool. The pool began to bubble rapidly, as the lava burst outwards and rapidly spread out, erupting in thousand-degree explosions whenever it came near an enemy. The attack ended about as quickly as it began, however, as the spreading lava receded back to her smallish pool.

Faced with a new plethora of viruses all defensively hidden behind various data cubes, Eris and Asymptote had a lot of work cut out for them, or so it seemed anyway. The mentor gave some quick advice while the two of them moved apart with evasive action. Even as they both began to move, however, the hovering UFO drifted towards Eris, above the the cube piles, seemingly curious. As she tried to surprise the virus from behind with her favourite turgid flesh beast, the strange craft flipped about, presenting its underbelly towards the diving worm, and opening a spiral hatch that emitted a column of blue light directly over it. The worm went from diving in an arc, to drifting, upwards along the light beam, until if made its way fully into the opened portal. The circular hatch twisted shut again behind it and the UFO righted itself, lights blinking rapidly as it slowly drifted upwards at a sedate pace.

More towards the centre of the scattered cubes, two shouted, piercingly enthusiastic program voices echoed out, occasionally broken by fizzling crackles.

"THE BOXES ARE FRIENDLY!!"
"PUT YOUR HEAD IN A BOX!!" Two twin glows of energy blazed up brightly from the sources of the cries, the two damaged programs gathering energy in tandem.

Rather than obey the odd instructions, however, Eris decided the game she really wanted to play was another round of 'The Floor is Lava', and spread a broad coverage of it underneath herself and much of the surrounding area. As the lava settled, the two domed bulbs raced forward from behind their cubes, each making a bee-line for one of the two navis. They each attempted to approach and open up their inner workings to emit hammering sonic cones, but something about the sudden heat and the way it looked to be lightly crisping their outer sensors, seemed to have thrown the probes off, and both failed to actually direct their attacks properly.

It was a about this point that Eris found her distracted dancing quite suddenly curtailed as self-acting cords of flesh began to burst out from her body in every direction. they tore out of her skin leaving exposed meat and black residue, and looked to be made of thick, fibrous tendons. Each emerged from a different part of her body — arms, legs, mid section, event her back and shoulders, her neck, and the back of her head. In moments, she had begun to look like a macabre spectacle of restraint, with the flesh ropes latching into the ground and onto data cubes all around her and restraining every portion of her movement. The sinuous ropes of muscle matter sizzled where they buried into lava, sending up a scent like cooking meat, and pulsed where they stuck to data cubes, taking on circuit-like veins, as though they were merging with the terrain.

Despite this, or perhaps because of it, the sweeping beam from the satellite passed over her body without registering a lock, and failed to find Asymptote between the many other cube objects scattered about the field. It was a quick movement, ducking away from the searching beam that saved him, but it also hindered his otherwise reliable calculations, and Asymptote's small bomb exploded just out of range of the searching piece of technology.

As he ducked behind one of the nearest cubes for cover, the Swordy warped in close, just on the other side, and sneakily drove its sword directly through the block in an effort to catch the hulking navi unaware. The block itself was pierced easily, but it wasn't aimed well enough to hit him when the tip emerged from the other side. The twisty virus was more focused on Eris, and attempted to blast her with its remote striker, however, the bolt seemed to ground itself through one of the many, many restraining ropes of flesh that held her still, and it didn't seem to connect with her own body cleanly.

Still hidden, the handy virus sank into a portal, before appearing behind another cube, further off in an unwatched part of the field, setting up a large time bomb with a blinking display, out of sight behind another cub. The MagTect, meanwhile, kept its cover and launched a pair of pincer-moving magnets towards Asymptote. They curved out and around, closing in from either side where he sheltered behind his cover; he managed to dodge around the first, but the second struck him in the side for a minor sting.

At about this point, Eris was ready to use her final chips, and, by all accounts, had had enough of the scrambling efforts of lesser viruses. The totem that lifted Asymptote into the air sought for targets to burn, and managed to get a decent line up on two; the twisty, and the Swordy that had just attacked the mathematician, as well as catching anther cube in the line. All three targets were severely roasted, just before the red wave of lava washed out from Eris' restrained position was blanketed the remainder of the field. Most of the cubes were destroyed; about five seemed to have survived the molten wave. Less could be said of the remaining viruses. None of the tank viruses, still attempting to line up their shots, survived the assault, the handy and its new time bomb were both roasted, and only the UFO, hovering just out of reach, and the two PulseBulbs, who had already closed their nigh impervious metal domes, managed to remain after it had passed. Asymptote dropped back to the ground again, safely unharmed as the wave rolled by, consuming the totem beneath him instead.

HandyHandy (Handy)

Handy Viruses attack by opening a dimensional gate below themselves, and dropping into it. The exit gate opens next to their destination, and they will rise out of it holding an explosive. This explosive is placed on an unbroken panel, and the Handy is free to move after. The use of gates does not count as teleporting, but can be used as a means of dodging as they attack. Gates are only used when attacking, and at no other time. Handy viruses will not set a new explosive until either a turn has passed, or they pass one action without setting a new bomb, whichever comes first. Asymptote had miscalculated his attack against the Satellite and had completely missed, his bomb going wide and without a second thought exploded, taking out what he thought was a data cube instead. His body, barely behind the data cube he ducked behind, managed to fend off a Swordy attack and had the electrified blade passing under his arm, but otherwise was completely unharmed as it attacked. Then Eris went to set the world on fire. Beads of sweat going down Asymptote's back as the metal became molten and melted beneath him, dropping him into a waist high pool of scalding hot lava. And then came the torrent of scalding hot lava, him getting lifted up by her own Totem. Only to come splashing back down right as the wave came across and absorbed the entire object. Good thing he didn't put down his usual helper.

Asymptote had been unharmed over the turn, but the lava lapped at his body and data, he could feel the searing heat and the bubbling liquid attacking his data. With a grunt of pain, his body began to cover it's self in a defensive layer of hardened flesh. The hulking navi's flesh bubbling and growing more and more dense as a thick fluid began to flood underneath the hardened skin. His body very quickly becoming...bulbous and discolored, body protected and viscous fluids that very slightly cooled down his body, even as the lava did all it could to attack his bare flesh.

Nnnngh...got a hotfoot myself...not that it matters in the long run I suppose. Asymptote mumbled under his breath, slowly beginning to wade through the molten metal in the immediate area. Eris! Asymptote began as he looked towards her, sending a transmission to her, continuing to move towards the viruses. I'm going to get the PulseBomb's attention, be ready to attack them as soon as they open up. We can pick off the UFO as soon as they go. He said simply before rushing towards the viruses. Joseph. Barrier. I'm gonna need it if I want to tank these attacks. He sent to his netop as he continued.

With but a simple click, Joseph would send the chip to Asymptote. A clear, baby blue barrier swiftly rising up around Asymptote's body, if it wasn't stolen by the UFO first. Asymptote then proceeded to pound his chest, issuing a challenge to the PulseBombs. HEY TIN CANS! YOU CAN'T FUCKIN HURT ME! I'M GOD DAMN INVINCIBLE! He roared as he pounded rhythmically. Meanwhile, Eris was given a burst of energy as a slight glow radiated off of Asymptote.

"I'm a box!" yelled Eris, as she was suddenly transformed into a part of the terrain. "Box, box, pile 'em up and toss the locks." Singing along as she was forced into the odd arrangement, Eris seemed perfectly content with her fate. Asymptote didn't seem to care much either, as he continued to relay his instructions without regard for her current state, even while dancing on the burning field of fire that she had created just moments prior. "PulseBulbs... What're those?" she asked nobody in particular.

"He mentioned the UFO a little later, so I assume he's referring to those floating black cylinder things," muttered Charles. Though he was shocked at Eris's predicament, her nonchalant attitude about it had desensitized him rather quickly to the situation. She'd fix it somehow, he thought. And fix it she did, as the strange flesh ropes that had bound her to the terrain began to snap and tear themselves apart, as though the tension of binding her body had been too much for them. The extraneous flesh retracted into her body rapidly, restoring her form and strengthening her in the process, though not without introducing a little bit of 'extra functionality' as well.

"Okay! I'm ready!" she said, hopping around with her restored mobility as she clenched her fists, poorly imitating a boxer's stance.

"Well, if he said he wanted to target the PulseBulbs, I guess we'll have to oblige him... Let's get a little more physical," said Charles, as he sent in two chips for Eris's use.

While Asymptote did his job of taunting the PulseBulbs to target him, Eris had her chips arrive, covering her fists in a pair of blue and red auras. "Oh! Hot AND cold!" she exclaimed, as she held up her fists to examine them in wonder. "Eat this!" she said, lunging forward towards what would hopefully be an attacking metallic virus, throwing a powerful right hook to start things off. The icy fist was soon replaced by burning fire, roasting her red skin to show the muscle underneath. Of course, she didn't seem to mind, as she continued to throw two more hooks, this time charged with fiery wrath, towards the other PulseBulb.

Most of the field was cleared, but the two navis remained; Eris, doing a very noisy impression of becoming part of the land mass, and Asymptote doing an even noisier impression of... well ok, he was just being noisy. While the more hulking of the two navis prepared himself to draw the hostile ire, Eris shrugged off her previous glitch, devouring it in her usual messy fashion. As the various flesh cables that held her to the ground snapped, however, many of them rose up and began swaying and lashing about of their own accord. Each of the animate ones was ripping black residue from what looked to have become a spike,d bony end. They waved and twitched, hunting for something to stab, completely outside of Eris' own control for the time being.

Meanwhile, the UFO had temporarily discarded the demonic girl, and instead focused its seeking beam on Asymptote; as he attempted to activate his barrier, he found the code for it whisked away swiftly into the tractor hatch of the UFO, which hummed happily to itself. this didn't stop him from bellowing his challenge to the remaining PulseBulbs, of course, and as ever ready to respond to what they viewed as threats, both sentries turned swiftly to face him. After a moment's consideration, each one zipped forward across the surface of the lava and cranked open its shell to attack.

Eris was, despite all appearances to the contrary, waiting for this precise moment, however, her attack wasn't quite quick or precise enough to hammer the first bulb before it could emit its stunning pulse across Asymptote's scarred from. His outer layer of thick scarring took the punishment easily, and a moment later, the bolt of icy mist from Eris slammed into its workings and put it out of commission. She was ready to assault the second one as well, her first fist sneaking in just as the casing pulled itself open, but despite taking heavy damage, the virus still managed to sound its sonic pulse before her second hit destroyed it. As before, the pulse wave washed over Asymptote with relatively little effect, save a lingering ringing in his ears that left him dazed and stunned.

The UFO, seeing that the field was now more or less empty, save for itself, appeared to reassess its situation and decided that this particular round of exploration and chip gathering was over. It turned to flee, though the duo still had a chance to catch it and put it down, if they wanted. In the moment they had to consider this, Eris found that the waving tendrils of bony flesh that had been thrashing about her had grown increasingly agitated while she remained without nay hostile targets inside their range. without warning, each of them turned inwards, and suddenly made attempts to stab at her instead. One of them missed its mark on the girl, while Eris herself managed to dodge a second, but the other two rammed their way into her midsection in what would surely look to anyone else like a painful rending of flesh and blood. Thus sated, the rogue flesh tendrils relaxed, and were swiftly subsumed back into her body... though the wounds they'd left lingered for a few extra moments.

Element: Null
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Lock-On1, Zenny
Special: Immobile outside of its primary attack.
Special: This virus will repeat its primary attack until it finds a target, after which it will be able to use its secondary attack once. Lilliputian Bindings (Negative Glitch): The victim suffers an unbreakable Hold effect and cannot move themselves or dodge in any way. This glitch also foils other types of force movement, such as teleportation. The effect cannot be removed by any means, except by the removal of this glitch. Lasts two turns, or until remover with Status Cure, Glitch Eater or other similar effects.

Attack Catalyst (Balance Glitch)(Catalytic Glitch): The victim gains between two and five free buster-based attacks, of a randomly generated type (Shot, Melee, Drop etc.). These attacks will direct themselves randomly against any nearby targets, ally or enemy, until the end of the turn. Any remaining attacks which have not been used by the end of the turn, by way of not having any appropriate targets in range, will turn themselves on the victim instead. At the end of the turn, after the attacks have been spent, the Glitch checks for any Mutable Glitches in the victim's system. If none are present, the glitch is dispelled. If a Mutable Glitch is present this glitch interacts with that one, and creates a new, long-term glitch of a related nature to one or the other, or both. If the Mutable Glitch and the Catalytic Glitch are of different natures (Positive, Negative, Balance), the new form will be either Balance, or the nature of the Catalytic Glitch. If multiple Mutable Glitches exist, one is randomly selected. Glitch lasts only for the turn that it is applied.

Asymptote took the two hits without a single qualm in his mind...well, maybe in the back of his mind. On the outside he grunted and groaned as the sonic waves hit him full force. On the inside however, his mind screamed at him as he was hit by the second. The lava and metal around him swaying and moving about as he managed to keep his balance. He couldn't fight back against the swaying and swinging of the terrain whilst his ally killed the two annoyances henceforth. He couldn't stop himself from trying to say something to her.

Hnngoihjdyubadsuohdlnaisuhisdnaoha. Well...he -tried- to speak to her after killing those that attacked him, but all that came out was a bunch of garbled gibberish that made him sound like he was having a heart attack, a stroke and an aneurysm all at once. But he still stood and mostly unhurt for the most part. But despite that, sent a message to his netop.

Quote (Asymptote)

Send the Recover30, Joseph. I seem incapable of talking at the moment. Mind relaying to Erysichthon that we can just let the UFO go if it's just going to run like the little fucking bitch it is?!

Joseph couldn't help but laugh at Asymptote's message, fumbling around his pack for a few brief moments before slotting in the requested chip to his navi. And then opened up a communications channel to the net for a moment. Hello. Hello. Is this thing on? Can you hear me now? he asked before chuckling. Okay, Eris. It seems those Pulsebulb viruses scrambled Asymptote's voice for a moment. He's saying to let the virus go if it's just going to flee, it's not worth deleting. Expletives aside. Joseph commented, Asymptote rolling his eyes at the aside from his netop. Summoning up a weak, sparkling light into his hand, he looked down at it for a brief moment before turning his head towards Eris and with a flick of his wrist, sent the healing data towards her to heal her wounds.

Dripping with black wounds after being attacked by the flesh tendrils that had resulted from her own body, Eris looked down at her body, which rapidly began to close itself up, thanks to Asymptote's recovery chip giving her a bit of a boost. The way the openings came together and folded in on themselves fascinated her, to the point that she was distracted from the actual fight. However, she was interrupted by a foreign voice, which made her look around in confusion.

"Huh? What was that?" she said. At that point, Joseph relayed Asymptote's instructions, to which Eris responded with a broad smile and a nod. "Mm! Okay!" She then turned to the wayward UFO, which was already beginning to leave, and raised a hand to bid it farewell. "Bye bye, flying thingy! See ya later!" she cheered, before looking over at Asymptote, who seemed to be having a bit of trouble composing himself. Her forehead creased as she thought of something, before turning up towards the sky. "Master! Can we help him somehow?" she yelled, presumably addressing Charles.

The operator scratched his head, and mumbled to himself. As far as he knew, he didn't currently have anything to help the locked-up Navi. Still, for some reason, he felt like he had to give some kind of answer anyway, and racked his brain for whatever would make the most sense to Eris. "Uh, I don't know, go over to him and wave your arms to blow the pain away or something?"

"Oh! Okay!" said Eris, much to Charles's surprise, before hopping over to the black giant and waving her arms about in a windmill-like motion. "Pain, pain, go away!" she yelled.

// Summary
[Er.1] Act: Wave off RedUFO: RP
[Er.2] Act: Go over to Asymptote: Movement
[Er.3-4] Act: Blow the pain away and generally look silly: RP
While the UFO swiftly made its exit, Asymptote did his best to shake off the stun and Eris made a good effort at helping in her usual manner, which was to say, not specifically helpfully. Lo and behold, however, by the time she had finished waving her arms about and chanting at him, the pain was more or less subsiding and the magma she'd made earlier had cooled enough that it wasn't going to melt her busting partner's feet any further for now. This left the pair free to collect their spoils from the encounter, which were a goodly amount of various bits and pieces, from such a large number of enemies all at once.

RedUFO (V1)RedUFO (V1) (ColorUFO)

ColorUFOs are able to temporarily steal chip data from their enemy, preventing the use of that battlechip until the end of the battle. ColorUFOs only attack once per turn, maximum, and spend the rest of the turn dodging. This attack is guaranteed to hit unless the target dodges when they attempt their attack, meaning it can be evaded with luck. The attack ignores every form of defence, including any form of stealth. ColorUFOs move and dodge at slightly better than average rates. They are capable of full flight. If there is no valid target with a chip for the UFO to attempt to steal, they will instead zap one target with a particle beam.

Primary Attack Damage/Effect: Trap(Enemy in Targeting Cursor) + Seeking: Movement (High-Alt) + Dodge + Lock-On + Nullify Invis
Primary Attack Accuracy: C
Primary Attack Description: Generates a targeting cursor that sweeps back and forth across the field, looking for a target. The cursor ignores decoys, objects, illusions, and invisibility. Secondary Attack Attack Damage/Effect: (3 Null + Seeking + Enhanced Accuracy) x 10 Shots

Element: Null
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Lock-On1, Zenny
Special: Immobile outside of its primary attack.
Special: This virus will repeat its primary attack until it finds a target, after which it will be able to use its secondary attack once. When it changes targets, either of its own volition or its current target's death, or uses its Secondary Attack and lands in its original position, it must repeat its primary attack until it finds a new target.
Notes: Triggering invisibility or an illusion, or moving the Satellite forcefully after Lock-On is achieved does not allow a target to escape Lock-On. Lock-On is a shift in the Satellite's state, not a status inflicted on its target, and thus cannot be removed.

Asymptote felt the feeling coming back to his body, despite his partner's best interests in mind, she wasn't exactly helping much. But it was kind of part of her personality, he just held up a hand and pat her on the head. Kid, yer gonna go far in the nets with power like that. I wish I coulda helped more in the fights we had together. Would simply say, ruffling her hair gently. You're weird, you're quirky, but you make busting viruses fun. Asymptote commented afterwards, pulling his hand back before her tail could rip his fingers from their sockets.

You could stand to change things up from time to time, though. Unfortunately, while that...oh what was that chip again? I guess the name doesn't matter. It's powerful, some enemies can change the landscape to their liking, if what I'm reading is correct. Hopefully, we'll see each other again after you go. Joseph added, before clicking a couple buttons on his PET. Asymptote had a letter form in his hand, knowing what it was, he began to hand it over to Eris. If you ever need anything, Eris, or if your netop wants some company, we'd be happy to come around and..."hang out"? Is that what it's called these days? Though, I'm not sure about what your netop would like. He commented afterwords. Asymptote began to download what was his from the battle, more chip data and...a quiet "ding" on his PET. A new message came up, but he was too busy looking after things to pay much mind to it as he slotted in a blank chip, downloading the RingZap data from the fight.

(Offer Eris E-Mail Address)
"It worked!" exclaimed Eris, as the lava around them cooled down, and Asymptote's body seemed to be returning to normal. She felt a huge hand on her head, and looked up with a smile. "I had fun too!" she said, her tail waving around as he ruffled her hair. It seemed as if it wasn't about to be hostile towards Asymptote for the moment, as he retracted his hand without incident.

Through the screen, Charles could see Asymptote pulling out a letter of some kind, offering some socialization as well. I'd be much happier having to not associate with anyone, he thought. The operator could only watch on with jealousy, though before he could voice it out, he saw Eris take the flat white rectangular envelope, and blink at it for a few moments, before taking it into her mouth whole. Some crunching noises could be heard as Charles's expression turned into disbelief once again. "I guess that's one way to deal with it," said Charles, unable to hide an amused smile on his face as he palmed his face.

"That was tasty! Thanks!" said Eris, letting out a decidedly unladylike burp. She then began to look around the field, before spotting something that seemed to peak her interest. Running over to behind a box, Asymptote could see Eris bend over to pick up something, with her rear facing towards him. Her massive tail protected her from any peeping eyes, however, as its end revealed its teeth in warning. She came back soon enough, and presented something up to Asymptote. "Here you go!" she said. In her hands was something that looked like a flattened and crushed zenny cache, crudely shaped into the form of a flat rectangle.

[... Accept E-mail?]
[Offer 460z]
Asymptote was beaming beneath his mask, watching as his partner accepted his netop's e-mail address...then turned to horror as she devoured it in a single bite. He could only blink a couple times out of stunned curiosity as she belched from his apparently delicious email invite. But shook it off mentally with a shrug. You sure know how to pick them, don't ya? Joseph poked fun at Asymptote, the navi about to reply to his netop before Eris did something else a little surprising. He was presented a box with a little bit of zenny data in it. He wasn't sure about taking her money like this...but if she was offering...who was he to say no? The crushed rectangle shape of it was certainly a little humorous to him though. Hehehe. Thanks Eris. You keep safe out there, alright? And don't be afraid to shoot us an e-mail if you get into trouble or something,
alright? Can't be a good teacher if I can't help my pupils, right?

Watching Asymptote accept her present, Eris continued to smile wide, before letting out a huge yawn. Rubbing her eyes, she blinked for a few moments, before wobbling about in place. The fatigue that suddenly set in on her body crept into her expression. "Oh, I'm tired now..." she mumbled, while Asymptote gave her his last few words. Forcing a smile again to hide her fatigue, she continued. "Ah, okay, let's hang out again later, teacher. I'm going home now, bye bye!" she said, disappearing in a flash of light.

Asymptote, with a smile behind his mask, downloaded the zenny as his partner disappeared into the ether.. Asymptote sat there for a few moments has he thought about what to do next. Before deciding I'm gonna trade in my kills and get a new list, Joseph. If we have enough, I'd like to get a "speed upgrade" from the navi shop. I need to stay up to date. Asymptote said as he warped away from the network for the moment. Joseph sighed as he shook his head. Hehehe. So much for keeping a nest egg. Guess I'll be going to Zenny-Tree for the time being for food.
