Inside the shop

"Alright, thanks! Be seeing you," the man said as he left the shop to go back to his apartment.
It wasn't the first time she'd visited the shop, but walking into it now, Alda couldn't but feel like it was totally different. It looked the exact same as before, but after everything that'd happened...ugh, now she was getting mopey again. She smiled as she walked up to the counter, and prepped her PET for a wireless money transfer. "Hello! I'd like a Speed Upgrade and Process Upgrade, please!..." You know, now that she had been inside for a little bit..."It's a little chilly in here, don't you think? Maybe should you turn down the AC a little!"

"First off, you don't get to tell anyone you're cold in an outfit like that." Anathema formed as a hologram on her operator's shoulder, looking slightly annoyed. "Second off, maybe he's just going for the old saying, 'colder than a witch's t-'"

"Really?! In public like that?"

"What, there's no one else here!"

"Sorry about her...sometimes she just says stuff without thinking about it!"

As his latest customer came in, Suitachi was preoccupied with something in the back room, and called out from it, "Just a minute! I'll be right with you, hold on!" The shopkeeper came out a little less than a minute later, holding a pile of boxes stacked high up. It seemed like he was having a lot of trouble just keeping the tower of boxes upright, given how precarious an angle it was tilting at, but he seemed to manage it anyway. "Oof! Okay, just gotta... put this for a bit..." Then, he rested the boxes against the counter, and slipped a hand under it to pull out the requested upgrades. He then continued to verify the transaction entirely one-handed, still supporting the boxes that were entirely obscuring his sight of Alda's rather skimpy attire.

"Alright, that should've been it. Sorry if you're bothered by the AC, I'm sweating harder than a hog in hell right now! Thanks for coming!" he said, grabbing hold of the column of containers once again and backing up into the room once again.

"Uh, thanks...be careful with that, okay?" Alda thought for a split second about aiding him, but it wasn't her problem...also, she lacked any real physical strength to help with. She shrugged, and turned around to leave. Her Navi's hologram faded, but she seemed oddly happy as she went back to the PET...

Destin Obscura was looking quite pleased with himself as he strolled into the Navi Shop on a busy Tuesday. "Hello shopkeep!" he called out in a jovial tone. "I have come into some funds recently and need some more upgrades. So please allow me to purchase the following items:" he said as he put a typed-up list on the counter.

HP Memory v7 (#13): 4,500z
HP Memory v8 (#14): 4,750z
Total: 9,250z
"Hahaha! Well, someone sounds chipper. Give me a second, then," laughed Suitachi, as he picked up the list, gave it a once-over, and picked up a nearby metal ruler. Reaching over to a nearby shelf, he plucked the upgrades off of it with the ruler into a small plastic bag on the counter. The shopkeep then held up the small bag and handed it over to Destin. "That'll be 9250 zenny. Thanks, and have a nice day!"

the door swung open as Adrian hastily made her way into the shop. It had been long overdue since she had purchased any upgrades for Sylk, and she knew full well if they had put it off again the money would transform into chips. Such was their bad habits.

She cleared her throat as she strolled up to the counter, already preparing zenny for the transaction. "Hello there! I'd like to purchase two buster upgrades for my Navi. it should be 11,000 all together if i remember correctly. Oh, i guess one more process upgrade too, then. 13,400z in total i guess."

-purchasing:buster upgrade 5+6, PU #24 - 13,400z-
"Buster upgrade, buster upgrade... Ah, right, hang on," mumbled Suitachi, as he scanned the shelves for the item, and extracted the requested ones with his quick fingers. He placed them on the shelf with a practiced smile, counting up the offered zenny total, and nodding in confirmation. "Alright! Thanks, have a nice day."

"You too, Thank you!" Adrian took her upgrades in hand with a smile, and after putting them away for the time being headed for the door.
"And so basically the killer racked up the hundredth murder, so he got the coupon he wanted," Gordon finished his latest script, rubbing his chin thoughtfully as he stooped to avoid bumping his head on the doorway. Even still, as he entered into Suitachi's shop, his mohawk brushed the upper frame of the door. "What do you think?

"I think you should be prepared to hand out some coupons if you publish it. Or some refunds," Slay offered from his PET.

"I guess it does kind of put you in the mood of wanting to save some money, when you hear how far that guy went to do it," Gordon agreed. "I should probably right about a generous killer that loves paying to watch movies instead. Oh well, I'm putting it on the back burner." The shirtless man approached Suitachi's counter, dragging up his sagging pants again idly, then leaning two long, thick hands on the counter. It was a gesture that seemed threatening just due to his appearance. "Hey, I need... One speed upgrade... one HP upgrade... another HP upgrade... and uh... one process upgrade," he pointed to each of the items in turn. "Hey, if you were, hypothetically, a murderer, which upgrades do you think would help you murder people the best?"

"That's really misleading. Don't give people the wrong idea about you..." Slay put in quickly.

The writer rubbed his chin again, then slowly nodded. "Yeah. She's actually the murderer, not me. I just write about murders," he concurred.

"... I'm not a murderer either. I just act out murders," Slay reassured Suitachi, if he could take any solace in anything the two said at this point.

"Anyways, yeah, the upgrades. I was going to buy those," Gordon finished, placing money onto the counter.

((Purchasing Speed Upgrade #1, HP Upgrades #1 and #2, and Process Upgrade #1

"Quite the order, not every day people get speed upgrades, they're usually completely and totally broke by the time they come by." Suitachi mumbled as he reached towards the items in question and firmly putting them on the counter right between the writer's arms, his register immediately hoovering up what money it required from his account. "And as for your question. Lye because of it's acidity and it melts bodies real quick. Pigs because they'll eat anything, so no real trouble leaving a body. And Rats, because like pigs, they eat just about anything. Anymore questions I can report you to the Netpolice about?" He asked at the end with an almost devious grin on his face.

Walking in calmly and pushing through the crowds, Joseph would put down his cash card and look around. Have a fairly new navi and...I would like to purchase an HP upgrade and three of those...ah...Processor upgrades please?

Buying: HP Upgrade (1000), PU1 (100), PU2 (200), PU3 (300)

Have: 1640z

After: 0040z
Suitachi's mischievous question interrupted by another customer, he snapped to attention quickly, making sure that his business was uninterrupted. "Ah, of course. Let me get those," he said, as he reached for the space under the counter, and brought up the requested upgrades. The cash card was summarily swiped on the register, and deducted from appropriately. "Right, everything checks out. Come again, and have a nice day."

"Oh boy... Don't encourage him," Slay sighed, as Suitachi divulged to her operator many great ways of disposing of a body.

"I think the murderer should just cut out the middle-man... How about a killer with a bunch of man-eating pigs? That's... really good. Dang, I gotta listen to people's advice more often," Gordon murmured, rubbing his chin thoughtfully, as though he was having an epiphany.

Slay clutched her forehead with one hand. "Now you're taking other people's advice? Anyway, you don't get to skip the murder part and go straight to body disposal, at least not in horror writing. Keep thinking... and let's head back to your place for now. We need to do some actual writing..."

"Not just that. You gotta stay busy too. If a shark stops swimming... you know the drill," her operator responded. "I'm looking out for you Slay. It's not just me. It's you and me. We're gonna write the greatest script together... So like, imagine a world where people have to keep walking to stay alive, and there's a guy who keeps tripping people to murder them..." That terrible new script idea left along with Gordon as he exited the store.

((Headed to ElecTown))
A brief lull came over Suitachi's shop, with not a soul to be seen. Unfortunately, the silence was broken rather quickly by the door being roughly shoved open, a shabby-looking man in a brownish work outfit entering without so much as a greeting. Dark bags under his eyes conceded that he most likely hadn't had a wink of sleep in the last 24 hours or so as he hustled over to the counter, with a clipboard in hand. "Hey, man. I'm looking for these pieces. Ya got 'em?" he said, a hint of impatience in his voice as he slid the clipboard across the counter. On it, one could see a single order sheet, clipped together with a zenny authorization card.

- Process Upgrade V1-V3 (100+200+300 = 600z)
Authorized Zenny Count: 5760z

Zenny Remaining: 160z
"More speed upgrades? Must be something going around," Suitachi said as he looked over the clipboard. He fished behind the counter for a moment and came up with a bag filled with the selected items. He then took payment and passed the bag into the hands of the shabby-looking man. "Here you are. Thank you for your patronage."

"Right, think that's it... Thanks," said the man, as he shuffled through the bag, and gave one of them a bite for some reason, as if it were some gold piece, before leaving.

Mazer hurriedly walked in to the Navi shop, and adjusted his glasses before he pulled his PET from his coat pocket and placed it on the counter. "Hi, I'd like to get a HP +200, a NC Expansion, and a couple HP Memory upgrades please," he said quickly before he popped a zenny payment chip from the PET and handed it to Suitachi. After doing so he took a step back from the counter and wiped the sweat off his brow with his hand, then unzipped his jacket in an attempt to cool off.
