The "Everything you ever wanted to know" Thread

Hahaha, Wes pwnt you :3

The reasons for each group will be announced *tentatively* tomorrow. If not tomorrow, then by the end of the week for sure.
Okay, I'm new to the Normal subtype. Say I used Untapped Power on something multihit like a Cactball or a Cornshot. Would the extra 10 damage get split between the hits, or would it stack on the hits?
Unless I am horribly mistaken, it would affect only the first hit.
It's not stackable. Just a single boost added to the total.
Example: Vulcan1 using untapped power. My roleplay would be like this.
Shenlong channeled his energy into the chip, firing three rounds and then, blasting another round of energy at Drakkas.

The Summary would be, assuming that Shenlong's level is 30.
1. Untapped Power Vulcan1 to Drakkas[10*3 +15 DMG]

Untapped power is calculated by level/2 rounded down to the nearest 5, I'm assuming that the 5 MUST be in the one's place. Unless it is really, a multiple of 5 instead.

Calculated by [10+level/2]. And it need to fraction out to the lowest 5, so if you divide 9 by 2, it would equal to 4.5, but you have to lower it to 0 and only get 10 bonus damage.

YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT I'VE BEEN CALCULATING MY UNTAPPED POWER BONUS WRONG THIS ENTIRE TIME?
DAMMIT!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Is there something wrong with the forum's signature system? It just sliced off the tail end of my signature, taking my only record of my battlechips with it. I should have probably documented things better. ;>>
I can see the chips fine... oo;
That's because I rebuilt the list last night. Kind of annoying, but not earthshattering, seeing as most of my busting threads and trades were under my posted topics. And as a bonus, I got the new improved Drakim-code. ^^
Chances are there won't be any forced cutoffs from this point on, seeing as the new thing is shorter by a good fifty or so lines.
The good news: I got promoted. Hoo-rah.

The bad news?
I can no longer post in my mod training thread.

This could be a problem, if I wanted to finish the battle.
You can unlock it, you know. Should be a bar in the lower left of the screen for it.
I unlocked it, I just can't POST in it. Here's the message I get:

Quote (The Message OF DOOOM)

The error returned was:

Sorry, you do not have permission to reply to that topic.

Edit: As I just figured out through experimentation, that is the same reply for ALL mod training threads. Am I doomed to not help unpromoted mods for all of eternity?[/drama]
Quick clarification on trade rules:

I am in the middle of a trade and a battle starts, meaning the viruses appear. If I wait to post my first turn until after the trade goes through, would I be able to use the new chips that I gained in the trade, or would I have to wait until the next battle?
I've done this a few times myself....

You'll have to wait one turn for the trade to resolve, but you could use them this battle. Also, your Net-Op will be unable to supply your Navi with chips this turn because he or she is resolving the aforementioned trade.

Net result, you go one turn without chips, but you get to use the stuff you got from the trade immediately after.
Hmm, that sounds like a reasonable suggestion. Thanks Pally.
I think its pretty messed up that you can edit your folder during battle, but whatever... I know it happened in the anime, but it just doesn't look right to me. For starters, you could trade your chips that you've already used. Lets not even get into someone pumping his pal with chips when its an emergency.

At least you can't change NCP during battles... right?
