Double Dragon?

A candle, floating in a holder above the door suddenly lights, as do two candles to either side of the door. Seraphim didn't notice those there before...

A gravelly voice speaks from within the dimly-lit hut, and the door opens. "Come in..."
Seraphim heads in, quietly using a firehit1 in order to simply better illuminate the room. The fire wouldn't hurt him, fortunately enough. It was a touch effect, after all. It would stay on his hand until he discharged it.
Druidman entered, and just used the fact that he was a Navi to help aid in seeing in the semidarkness. Sometimes Seraphim did some strange things for effect.
The navis take about 5 steps inside before the door shuts quietly behind them. They both spin- and find a CanDevil floating in front of the door. He doesn't look amused. "Can I help you...?" His gravelly voice seems to have a sort of malice to it- and he appears to be glaring at Druidman.
"Heya, we were just here with a message from Svelte that she'd like the parts. Also, I wondered if you might know where-" Seraphim conjured the 'Meteor 9' staff into his hand, presenting it forward toward the Candevil, "If you might know where this thing came from. Is it the chief's?"

"Right, man. So if you could help us out, then we could drop that stuff off with her, and then she'd be happy, and we can be on our way and stuff." he said, noticing the glare, but choosing to ignore it.
Joe merely continued glaring at Druidman, ignoring Seraphim. "And why should I give them to you?" He spat angrily.
"Uh, see, technically, you're not, dude. We're just the couriers here, doing her a favor, man. You're giving it to her." Druidman said nonchalantly.
"...Wait a second." Things started to clink together in Seraphim's head. Clicking into place. One after another. Fortunately, there weren't too many things that needed clicking into place.

"You- you're in love with Svelte, aren't you?"
Joe pauses for a moment, then merely floats past Druidman and Seraphim, literally shaking with- something. "Leave." His gravelly voice replies, this time with a dark sort of tone and urgency as opposed to the outright hatred he had shown before.
"No." Druidman said. "Not without the things we need. I made a promise to a young lady that I would get them, man. If I return without them, she'll be crushed."

Druidman stood tall and looked at Joe. "You've got a funny way of showing how you feel about someone." he added.
Joe spins abruptly and smacks Druidman with one of his claws. (70 Fire, x2 mod) "What would you know about her?! You show up all high and mighty and all of a sudden she's all over you! I spent ages, ages enduring the hell these bloody villagers put me through for being a CanDevil to be with her, and then you come in and sweep her off her feet in the span of an hour! Get the hell out of my house!"

Druidman: 110
"Is that what this is about, dude?" Druidman spat as he got up. "Is that what you think? I can't help what I am any more than you can help what you are!"

"If you want to hate me, fine, but I'll be damned if you throw away everything." Druidman said. "If you refuse to give me the things that she wants, then you'll just have to come with me and give them to her yourself. Then, you may try actually telling her how you feel. Did it occur to you that she may feel the same way?"

Druidman stormed out of the house, yelling over his shoulder. "I'll wait for you outside for five minutes, then I'm going to leave. I'll leave the other parts I managed to get outside. You can take them to her and tell her whatever story you want."
Seraphim closed the door behind his friend.

"That went spectacularly well." He said, dreading the virus' answer.

"Anyway, it's not his fault. We were uh, put through quite the gauntlet in getting here. Think of this, though. Svelte specifically asked for us to get the stuff from you because she didn't know where to go. She would have come personally to get it from you. Not because of the damned villagers, who by the way gave us enough shit about you- but because she thinks of you as a friend." He let the fire on his gauntlet go out. The effect was akin to taking of one's glasses during a dramatic speech, it heightened the effect of his talk.

"You can extend this relationship. We're just meddling in this village for a short bit until we find a way 'out'." The way he said 'out' was not as one would say exit. More like a finality.

"We'll be out of your way right after this. You could come with us with the item, to explain how to fix it on future incidents. Invite her if she ever has any more problems with what she needs fixed. Build the rapports of a relationship. She has a crush on a man who popped in and will pop out in less than a day or two. You have as long as you need." Seraphim paused.

"Will you take this opportunity, or reject it altogether?"
"..." Joe mumbles something.
"What did you say?" Seraphim asked.
"...I don't want to set the world on fire..." Joe sung for a moment, then glanced at a picture of Svelte that Seraphim and Druidman had failed to notice in the low light. "...I just want to start a flame in your heart..." As if on cue, an oversized, lit candle (One of the ones from outside...?) appears in the CanDevil's hands. "Let us go, then." He turns to Seraphim, grim determination in his eyes.
Druidman waited outside, fidgeting with the one piece he had on him.
Seraphim nodded, with a slight grin.

"Okay Druidman," He said, opening the door. "We've come to an agreement. No more arguing. Let's go to Svelte's place."

Seraphim strode on without a backwards glance, to the house of 'Svelte'.
Joe merely followed behind Seraphim-- sure enough, the candle that had been over the door was gone.
