GigaMan gets... GIGATIZED

Feeling invigarated after the recovery chip had set in, GigaMan surveyd his surroundings and quickly formulated the next offensive approach. Without being able to tap into his previous power the super virus was having a little bit of trouble. His eyes froze upon the GMD... he had to have it. It possibly held more firepower. With intensified motivation he requested another chip. "Human send me some more stuff, we have to get our hands on that data. Trick or trap, it could hold something of value."

"Fine. Shotgun, RageClaw... Here you go." The operator obliged and provided "his" navi with more weapons.

GigaMan's first priority was to blast the rock that protected the Miner. With a quick motion, he stretched his palm towards the grounded boulder and blasted off the shotgun. The blast was fast, yet strong as it traced its way towards the stone, hoping to pierce the hidden viruses body and end it's life. After firing his first attack, GigaMan tapped into his second chip. The claws on each hand altered themselves slightly, becoming a big sharper. He could see his reflection in the claws new shine. "Hmmm, I'm a bit smaller, then I was before, but it looks like this body has roughly taken on my appearance. I like that."

He didn't have long to admire himself in the claw mirror for he knew the Fishy and Beetank would retaliate with even more head on attacks. He tried to time his footwork to dodge, right between the Fishy launching itself forward and the tank throwing another bomb. If they ended up not attacking together he would just sidestep in anticipation.

He had set his eyes on the Beetank, running straight for his new target. Once in close range, the Navi slashed out once with his freshly equipped claws. The attack was simple enough, but aside from missing he could kiss another enemy good bye.

[GigaBlast][1 TCD]
Setting his sights on the Mystery Data crystal, GigaMan coerced a few more battlechips from Julius, proceeding to fire the Shotgun shell from his palm towards the nearby boulder. Unfortunately, the recoil of the blast caused his attack to veer slightly off course, missing the boulder entirely, along with the Miner behind it. The virus dutifully began its work once more, sinking into the ground with a black disc before reappearing with none. The Fishy behind him began charging up as well, the whine of its jet thrusters fading out into a deafening burst as it dashed towards him. At the same time, the Beetank to his side erupted with another explosive shell that flew towards him. His well-timed evasion allowed him to avoid both attacks at once, but alas, his luck stopped short once more as a telltale 'click' under his feet preceded a powerful explosion (-50) that racked his body. Behind the boulder, a sinister giggle could be heard from the culprit of the attack. However, his attacks continued, and he managed to eliminate the Beetank through the use of his razor-sharp claws, removing another from the battlefield.

GigaMan's body dropped to one knee again, this time combined with heavy breathing. He was finding out that these battles were in fact tough on his newly found Navi-body. It's something he would have to grow accustomed to until he managed to get stronger. Out of frustration he commanded, "HUMAN! GIVE ME THAT CHIP WE WON LAST BATTLE!"

Julius looked on with a troubled expression on his face. Could the real GigaMan feel any of that pain.. or was the parasitic virus the only one in control of the senses. He decided not to second guess it, and uploaded his RollingLog1 battlechip. "I would use it to try and take out the Fishy, since the Miner dosen't make head on attacks."

"I don't need you to tell me how to fight." GigaMan barked. "That is what I was going to do anyways." He activated the chip, rushing his claw covered hands straight out in front of him. One after another, two medium sized logs digitized at the blasters in his palms, and fell to the ground. As if the wooded cylinders had been rolled down a moutain top they spun and sped towards the flying fish like virus hopeing to slam into it one right after the other.

GigaMan had to be careful where he stepped. He knew there was two mines left... about to be three. If his attack wasn't enough to delete the virus, then he would casually step to his left, as little as he could in to move out of the viruses way, and hopefully not trigger another hidden device.

3. Dodge

[GigaBlast][Ready Next Turn]
Enraged by the unseen Miner's sneak attack, GigaMan proceeded to bark out another order for another one of the battlechips from his operator, deflecting some well-intended strategic suggestion in the process. He produced the RollingLog chips from his hand afterwards, with the crude wooden implements noisily rolling down towards his intended target. The Fishy wasn't about to run away from the attack either--it instead charged in head-on, even ramming into one of the logs in the process. GigaMan's small step to the side was quite on point, as it managed to avoid the spiky bird-like virus's charge for a second time. Unfortunately, it also ended up blowing up in his face, quite literally, as another 'click' preceded another pyrotechnics display from under his feet. (-39) His Undershirt managed to protect him from being eliminated outright, but he was now toeing the line from being forcefully jacked out.

Another sinister giggle came from behind the nearby boulder, mocking the Navi for his unsightly display. Perhaps one saving grace was that both of his enemies were now in range of deletion from any attack he could throw out now... but would he take that gambit?

"You have to get out of there!" Julius barked.

"Do....n't tell me wha..t to do..." GigaMan did his best to crawl in the opposite direction of the remaining two enemies, hoping to escape their territory and find safe haven. "Hu...man... this is Yo...Yo...your fault..." Even in defeat the virus's persona flourished through the Navi.

Summary

1. Escape
2. Flee
3. Run Away!
GigaMan's operator attempted to jack out the possessed navi, but a loud buzzing noise screamed out at the netop as the Jack-Out request was most assuredly denied in the current circumstances. But the viruses, despite Giga's pleads to stay in the net to finish off the fight entirely, moved in on either side of him. They were clearly setting up for -something-, but it was unclear what they were setting up to...perhaps Gigaman could use this to his advantage, both weakened viruses were within an arm's length of him, he could try to flee again...or he could rip and tear out their huge guts before they acted.

His escape failed, he was at the limit of the Navi's energy. Pain unlike anything he had felt in years surged through GigaMan's body. "GigaMan! YOU NEED TO GO NOW! Run!" Julius's voice rang in his hears as the two viruses moved directly on either side of him.

With what little energy he had left he got to his feet. The thought of a continued flee crossed his mind, but GigaMan had enough of that. He never wanted to run anyways. He never wanted to run away, that was the sign of weakness... one that he had no intention of repeating. "I will do this my way HUMAN!" GigaMan roared. "They have come to me, I will delete them!"

With a renewed sense of urgency GigaMan's left claw sliced through the air, as it whizzed towards the flying fish virus. The situation was dire, but there was no panic in the attack. With a calm, controlled motion he attempted a second slash in hopes to claim the enemies life had the first happened to miss. Not stopping there though, GigaMan turned his attention to the annoying mine planting virus. "You will pay for the misfortune you have caused me today." With his right, he from below with a rising scoop slash. The slash was centered so that it would split the virus into two symmetrical half's if it landed.

Desperate to prove his superiority, and equally determined to be contrary to his new operator, the questionably gestalted entity that was the new improved(?) GigaMan pulled himself up enough to make two quick slashes at the viruses that had closed in on him and refused to let him go. The Fishy, at least, clearly was not expected the sudden heel-turn from the badly damaged navi, and it was cut from the air before it could react. The miner had an extra moment for surprise, and ducked into the ground just as the second swipe whisked past it. When it popped up again from planting its latest mine, however, GigaMan's third strike was waiting for it, and, at last, blessed silence fell, the ominous beeping of the mines falling quiet with the last of the viruses destroyed.

This left the injured navi free to claim his spoils and make his way back to the place where he'd seen the glowing data crystal before, and decide upon a potentially risky question.

Open GMD?
GigaMan collapsed again, out of exhaustion. Julius let out a huge sigh of relief as the battle concluded. The only thing left to do was activate the GMD, but first he needed to heal his partner... as loosely as that term was used in this instance. Julius activated both of his MiniEnergy SubChips invigorating GigaMan.

"Cough... cough... Thanks... Human..." The navi stood up, refreshed. He walked over to the floating crystal and placed his hand on it. "Let's see what the fruits of our labor gained us."

Use 2 Mini Energy SubChips to recover 99 HP.
((Yes))
The GMD reacted to the rejuvenated Navi's hand by glowing slightly brighter before its many facets opened up to reveal a data packet, containing battlechip data. The rest of the Mystery Data disappeared into little green embers of glowing data, before fading out into nothing, leaving the chip data behind.

Feeling refreshed, and relieved to have survived the battle GigaMan spoke to the operator. "Your tactics need work human. We will never grow stronger if you hold me back." He uploaded the new chip to Julius's folder. "Battles will only get tougher from here on out... remember I hold your Navi's life in my hands." With that said he turned and walked further into ACDC Net looking for a new fight.

((Requesting battle 4))
Feeling at least somewhat refreshed, GigaMan reprimanded his new operator for mistakes of dubious origin, added in some thinly veiled threats for good measure, and went searching for more mistakes to make.

He hadn't wandered too much further into the back areas of ACDC before the ground beneath his feet grew steadily more uneven and rough. soon, great cracks began to show up, shot between by spider-web lacings of smaller fractures. As he strode out between two unused-looking buildings into a larger clearing, the terrain was cracked and unstable as all the way across, but before he had much chance to find an easier way around, an assortment of viruses had already seen him, and two of them, at least were approaching at speed.

Directly ahead, a pair of Fishy that floated just above the damaged ground were rushing forward with harmful intent clear upon their angular expressions. High above them, he could see a pair of bats as well, both of which had taken notice and were preparing to fly down. Lingering to either side as he came into the clearing, two ghosts watched, giggling quietly to each other across the way as though they were sharing some kind of joke.

Just as GigaMan finished sizing these foes up, a metallic creaking sound behind him was followed by a clatter and a crash as something tumbled down from between the two building behind him. The thundering sound was caused by an old stove virus that had, apparently(?) been perched on top of one of the two buildings, but had now fallen down. Still upright, the virus seemed to glance down at the unstable ground beneath it, and, despite the difficulty of its features in doing so, GigMan could be almost certain that it winced and tried to hold carefully still.

"Something's certainly not wanting you to have an easy time here." Julius pointed out, not feeling to confident about this new battle. "How can you fight with all those cracks."

"Do not under estimate me, I've told you before I'm more powerful then that pathetic Navi you claim." GigaMan's body flowed with a feint red light. The light itself quickly vanished, and even though Julius couldn't tell a difference immediately... GigaMan had changed slightly. When the light hit his armor at certain angles you could just barely see a red pearlescent color reflection. After this small change, he accessed the NCP Set Lava. The crack panels around him effortlessly changed to a molten field of lava as far as the power would stretch.

The new hazourdous terrain wouldn't bother him or most of the viruses, however it was more so here to give him a better footing. Julius stared at the PET screen somewhat amazed, he had never gotten to enjoy battles or the amazing things Net Navis could do because his partner had never wanted to battle. As much as he hated the situation, battling was kind of fun, "Here's the fangs, id try to take out the Spooky first." The operator slotted in the chip.

"I was gonna do that, their recovery ability is quite bothersome." GigaMan replied, showing off some of his knowledge of the viruses he had known from his time. The fangs were locked and loaded, one in each palm blaster. Instead of using them immediately though, GigaMan would try to read his opponents moved and evade them. Left and right he danced back and forth in the surrounding area hoping force the viruses to make a bad decision. This went on for sometime, until he finally felt it was right to strike.

If the ghost had decided to move in on him or not, GigaMan still chose to attack. One fang launched from his left hand looking to inpale the troublesome ghoul. The second fang fired from the right, it darted through the air with percision. The distance between Giga and the second Spoiky would be closed quickly, as the projectile looked to cut the enemies numbers down.

FireWalker.GMO
The changes GigaMan goes through during this .GMO are very simple. The whiteness of his armor gains a very light red pearlescent tint. Would be hard to notice unless the light hits it at a certain angle. This .GMO change gives him the ability to walk across fire based terrain with ease.

Unwilling to gamble on the uneven and damaged terrain, GigaMan swiftly spread out something far more neighbourly. Not really; it was lava, but it suited his purposes. As he darted across the molten rock, his armour attuned to protect him from its heat, the two bats swooped down to direct shrieking shock-waves in his direction, between his nimble movements and one of them being slightly off course, however, he was able to avoid the worst of the piercing sounds and had only a slight ring in his ears, and no harm done.

No sooner had he avoided these, however, than the two fishy viruses charged at him, making a cross-cutting pattern as they blew by. One missed, and GigaMan ducked away from the other, leaving the two floating viruses past him and struggling to bank and turn. With the immediate threats clear, he aimed his counter attack at the two ghosts; they had looked to see if anyone was hurt, and then, seeing no damage, begun to move in on GigaMan themselves, but his twin fang attack pierced both of their forms and dissipated the two spectres before either could attempt to lick him in an undignified manner.

Back behind him, the OldStove saw the lava as a haven from the cracked ground and, carefully, edged forward. The ground creaked beneath it, then gave in with another loud crash. The stove virus was not having a good day. It belched flames upwards in a line trying to bring down more to the damaged ground and make a slope for it to climb out, but for now it was stuck.

GigaMan's first attack brought him a little success, but there was still a handful of enemies remaining. He lacked the power to eliminate strong enemies at once, and his puny barrier wouldn't do much in the face of the Fishy's dashes. For now he would continue his fancy footwork, hoping to dodge the enemies attempts to hurt him. "Send me another chip human." GigaMan barked.

Julius, feeling the excitement of battle continued to obey... reluctantly. He decided to go with the chip they had just won out of the GMD. "Here comes the EnergyBomb."

The Navi kept his head up, eyes on the enemies as he kept moving side to side. It worked once, so he kept testing his skill, hoping to force the viruses into another mistake. While the Pulsebats had came down to a more reachable elevation, they were his next targets. He did a quick dash backwards to put a little space between them, standing right beside the hole where the OldStove was momentarily trapped, he lobbed the bomb overhead style. The weapon flew through the air at a high arc, only to fall fast at the peak. It's aimed landing zone was the space right between the two bats.

Keeping himself mobile on the field, GigaMan kept an eye on the various attackers on the field, with most of his attention directed towards the Fishy, as the two bats were rising high into the air for the moment. Then, at the moment which he anticipated, the Fishy once again swooped in for a crossed pincer attack, at which point he dashed backwards, just in time for the OldStove to belch out its fiery plume. One of the sharp birdlike viruses was unwittingly caught in the line of attack, screeching in pain from the friendly fire. He then followed up with an overhead toss of the EnergyBomb he had received, landing directly on one of the bats up high and deleting it.

GigaMan, and one of the Fishy were both slightly singed from the fiery stone's breath. It wasn't enough to halt the Navis momentum though. Nor did it keep Julius from slotting in more chips. The rhyme of the battle kept him calm and focused, ready to assure the possessed Giga made it out alive. "Shotgun, DashAttack1 sot in, download."

GigaMan was about to comment on the operators timely cooperation, but thought against it... wanting to maintain focus on the battle at hand. The OldStove was a sittin duck beside him. Hoping to catch it before another flamethrower spewed from below, he nonchalantly pointed his right had at the missing, and blasted off the shotgun. In an instant, the virus would be no more, unless the attack was unable to meet its mark.

If he could, Giga's next plan of action was to move quickly, yet cautiously to line up the two Fishy viruses. He knew they would rush him again, as well their batlike friend that waited high in the sky. He hoped that they would all attack together, as a unit. Tapping in to the other chip he was sent, his body sped towards the closest enemies in sight, wanting to pierce all three, but as long as atleast one was hit, nothing would be lost. A green aura, that took the rough shape of a Fishy surrounded his body, giving GigaMan the power to run though almost anything

Having used it as an extra armament in his offenses, GigaMan found that he had no more use for the OldStove virus, and quickly dispatched it with a quick round fired from the Shotgun chip, hitting it square in the back of its body. The PulseBat came back down from its flight, just as GigaMan anticipated, unleashing its sonic screech towards him. For some reason, however, its aim was just slightly off, and wasn't even able to reach him as it sailed above his head. The Fishy also took this time to attack him, performing the same crisscrossed attack once more. The timing of the bat's attack threw them off, however, and they diverged erratically just as GigaMan adjusted his positioning. Unfortunately, due to the strange paths that the Fishy took, he was only able to line up one of the Fishy with the PulseBat with his DashAttack, with the kinetic charge impacting them enough to delete them. His powerful beeline did, however, land him outside of his lava ring, and he felt pieces of shattered road wobble unsteadily beneath his feet as he touched down from the DashAttack.

GigaMan found himself having to maintain focus on keeping his footing. After eliminating three viruses back to back, it was just he and the Fishy remaining. "Send me the claws."

"Why don't we go with the Roll..."

"SEND ME THE CLAWS HUMAN " The Navi cut Julius off, destroying the little bit of excitement he had managed to muster. He did as he was asked, slotting in both the RageClaw1 and the RollingLog1 chips without saying anything else. GigaMan ignored the fact there was an extra chip sent, and immediately equipped his blade like claws.

Hoping to catch the the Fishy before it rushed him again, he fired off his signature GigaBlast. The golden energy ball chased down the last remaining virus looking to chip away a little bit of its health. Afterwards, he prepared to dash forward and reliever a finishing slash... but it crossed his mind that it might not be enough to finish the battle. 'Could Julius have been right?' The question ran itself through Navis thoughts. At the last moment he switched strategy's and launched the two rolling logs back to back hoping to catch the Fishy while it was coming at him.

[GigaBlast][2 TCD]
With only one virus left, a brief argument between navi and operator was not enough to stop GigaMan from taking a quick shot at the Fishy, making it wobble and reel and buying him just enough time to prepare a follow up attack. The virus did begin to rush, but the first log clocked it firmly in the face and caused it to spin off to the side, unsteady. GigaMan was easily able to dodge away from it and crush it with his second log easily enough.
