Inside the shop

As Burt went into the shop and stated his request, Suitachi blinked twice for a little bit, before suddenly breaking out in fits of loud laughter, holding his stomach as he did so. This lasted for around five seconds or so, before Suitachi wiped the tears from his eyes, and said, "I'm sorry, what was that? I didn't catch it." Burt then stated his real intentions, and Suitachi grinned in reply. "All right, one speed upgrade coming up," he said, looking through some of the displayed items under the counter.

"Ah, of course, I don't mind. You can feel free to take less than this. I don't force customers to spend their money," replied Suitachi, as he pulled out the speed upgrade. Shuffling quickly through the zenny and confirming its amount, he nodded. "Thank you very much, and have a nice day."

"Ha ha, yeah, really, you-... oh, wait, I heard that wrong. Okay, I get you," Burt grumbled, shoving his new, boxed upgrade into the now empty right pocket of his skinny jeans. "Thanks, now I am outta-!" he started, but cut off again as Destin noticed him.

"Damn! What a memory on this guy. Yes, my name is Burt J Blanchard; I'm glad that that stage security at Chiho-chan's concerts doesn't remember a name as well as you do, nyahaha! But still, it is good to see someone so interested in Counterinfectualism. Why don't I lay down the 30,000 feet view, and then once we're done, I'll direct you to my homepage to learn the rest!" the professor greeted Destin, pausing to straighten his scarf to look more like the big man in the conversation.

"Counterinfectualism is a religion with basis in enlightened visions. It states that the evil in the world has begun to crystallize within the literal 'web' of the net, in the form of the inept creatures we know as viruses. Possessions also still occur on a regular basis, with the evil entering into unsuspecting navis. All humans and their navis should seek to destroy the viruses on the net, thereby eliminating evil itself. You've been contributing to the cause for a long time and didn't even know it, I'll bet!" Burt lectured, leaning against Suitachi's counter as if it was his own podium.

"Well, that's the light version. Check out my webpage for more!" he finished, exiting out of the shop and collecting his nephew and niece.
Destin listened to Burt's cliff notes version of his religious dogma and was about to make a comment on one of the points, but then Burt rushed out after his speech. His voice being lost amongst the hustling and bustling noises outside. "... But I have seen viruses that were not inept."

He then turned back to Na'im. "Hello, my name is Destin. Sorry for the little interruption there, but I was wondering if you were the operator of a navi named 'Djinni.' I only ask because I've been doing research on other navis in the Net and want to learn more about them. If you wouldn't mind answering a question or two: such as how you ended up with her and what is your personal view toward the Net and viruses, I would appreciate it."
Kenji made his way inside the store, for the second time in not so long. Seemed there was one or two ahead of him. "Sounds like they are just talking, Sensei", came out of the PET strapped to the boys arm. He tried to avoid them as he heard that counter-infection-thing he had already given his opinion on. Shaking his head lightly, he made his way via crutches to the counter with his purchases (in turn anyway). "Just these today, please", he said to the shopkeeper.

WTB
HP Mem #1 and #2 (-1000z, -1500z)
Process Upgrade #4, #5, #6 (-400z, -500z, -600z)
Total 2500z + 1500z= 4000z
[Zenny total should be visible outside your tabs. Fix this after.]

Suitachi raised his eyebrow discreetly when he saw the crutches, but something clicked in his head as he remembered Kenji's previous visit. "Hm, all right, just a sec," said the shopkeep, muttering about the positions of the upgrades in storage while pulling them out with surprising speed. Soon, the counter was laid out with Kenji's upgrades, and he mentally racked up the cash total in his head.

"All right, that should be four grand in all. Thank you very much, have a nice day," said Suitachi.

"Djinni?" Na'im commented as he looked at Destin over his shades, "I have no reasons to answer you. Take care." And with those words he simply left Destin and the Navi shop behind himself.
With a subtle clank every time he took a step, BOB entered the shop, his suit nearly shining in the light of the day. Given that the casino wasn't too active during daylight hours, and his time on the floor was mainly scheduled at night, he was allowed a surprising amount of freedom.

So BOB shuffled up to the counter and spoke clearly, as if he had decided on what to purchase long before he ever entered the shop. "One process upgrade, please."

[-100z]
Suitachi had gone behind the counter to organize his display upgrades, but a rhythmic clanking sound caused him to peer over the counter. Whatever that sound was, it seemed to originate from his newest customer. "Ah, a process upgrade? Just a moment."
Suitachi turned around to pull one out of the trays behind him, before he put it in a small bag and placed it on the counter. "That'll be 100z please. Thank you and have a good day!"

BOB LOSE: 100z
BOB GET: Process Upgrade x1
BOB bowed his thanks, then quietly exited the shop, clanking all the while.
"Hello, Suitachi. How's your day?" Marius immediately gave a warm greeting to the shopkeeper as he walked into the store, already digging into his pocket to reach into his wallet. "Another big order for you, but I'm sure you have all of these in stock." He slipped a small, yellow note that had the list of upgrades he wanted in a list, along with his cash card.

"It won't take to long to get these ready, right? I'm counting on you."

Total: 32,000z
Suitachi took one look at the list, which couldn't have been for more than a second or two, and proceeded to remove a large, open package from behind the counter. Bizarrely, it contained exactly what Marius had ordered. "Is that quick enough? That'll be 32000z, please.

After swiping the card and returning it, he stretched, and headed into the back room, for reasons unknown to all, aside from maybe himself...

Marius GET: HP +200 NCP, JungleLand NCP, NC Expansion #2, Process Upgrades 29, 30, + 31, Impact Shot Buster Effect
Marius LOSE: Almost as much money as Sabrina would spend on chips instead of upgrades 32000z
"...Much quicker than I expected." said Marius, fairly surprised by Suitachi's skill as a shopkeeper. He took the large package along with his card, giving Suitachi a nod as a farewell before the shopkeeper quickly ran off into the backroom. "Well, I hope this is enough." That sad, Marius grunted as he made his way out of the shop...
A young dark skinned male walks into the store, wearing a thick navy blue jacket and baggy blue jeans. he has a beige shoulderbag on him and in his hands...a first generation plug in pet with a back paint job and visible wear. That thing is probably older than the person holding it.

The male walks up to the store clerk.

"..Hi, I'd like to purchase a process upgrade for my navi, this is his first one so far."
Suitachi walked out from the eerie backdoor of his own shop, approaching the register to tend to Lawrence's needs. "That's some antique you got in your hand." said the shopkeeper with the big smile on his face. "That thing's at least running some compatible OS, right? I don't think you can do much if you don't...Just a sec." Suitachi took another trip into the shop's backroom, only to come out a second later with a package that was caked with dust. As he blew over the package, the dust flew all over the place, while revealing a rather old chip.

"Here, this thing should do the trick. I have a box full of these old models, so I don't think you have to worry about getting more in the future!" As he gave the chip to Lawrence, Suitachi held his other hand out with the same smile from before.

"That's gonna be 100 zenny."

Lawrence GET: [Process Upgrade Lvl.1] Upgrade
Lawrence LOSE: 100z
Lawrence cracks a weak smile back at suitachi, almost as if his face is cemented into his previously glum expression. Lawrence then takes the chip and inserts it into the PET.

"Thanks, and yeah, I got this thing from a pawn shop for 5600 zenny, it was heavily modified by it's previous owner to work with moderns devices and use infrared. don't know who did this though..."

Lawrence places the payment in Suitachi's hand, turns around, and walks out of the store.
Shin decided he had enough money and he was gonna DO THIS THING.

And by that he meant actually getting process upgrades.

"Yo, Suitachi. I need my 28th and 29th process upgrade," Shin requested, slapping the money on the counter.

"And that's about it," he grinned sheepishly.

-BUYING-
Process Upgrade #28 + #29 = 2800 + 2900 = 5700z
"That's about it? C'mon, you get be more open with your money!"

Nonetheless, Suitachi swiped the money off the counter and jammed it into the cash register, quickly picking the upgrades off the shelf as he laid it down in front of Shin. "Make sure to come back with more money at hand, business seems a little slower than usual!"

Shin GET: [Process Upgrade Lvl. 28 + 29] Upgrades
Shin LOSE: 5,700z
"Yeah yeah," Shin grinned, walking out with the upgrades.

Well, time for a new strategy work-around.
Steve strolled into the shop, noting that it wasn't very busy.

Shrugging, he stepped up to the counter.

"Yo, Suitachi. I'd like to buy three Powerups((6000)), and my twenty-fourth through twenty-eighth process upgrades."((13000)) he said cheerfully, thumping his fingers on the countertop.

((19000))
"Three PowerUPs, five Process Upgrades..." Steve could hear Suitachi in the back room, apparently hearing him from all that distance...

"Here you go." And with that, the shop owner stood up in front of the counter, apparently having ducked beneath it for a few moments. But wait, wasn't he just in the back room...? "That'll be 19000z. And...thank you! Come again!" But...he was there...and back there...what?
