Inside the shop

Amadeo wandered into the store after making one last check of his directions to be sure it was the right store, and sure enough it was. He was just far enough behind to not have seen any of the other operators who wandered through that same day. Even so other people was the last thing on his mind. It was upgrade time!

"Well do we have enough? the Navi inquired wishing from his spot sitting on Amadeo's belt would offer a better view of the shop around them. "Don't worry I'll get your upgrade in just a second." After finishing a general browsing of the shop Amadeo made his way to the counter, "Excuses me? Can I get a health program and two process upgrades?" he held up his card with the 1,300z required to make the purchase, Longshot visibly excited at the soon to be obtained upgrades.

"Well, you're quite the lively one, aren't you? Alright, I'll be right back," Suitachi commented, adjusting his glasses as he...

....what the hell?

It seemed that the shopkeeper was moving so fast that there were clones of him. He was checking various places for just three items, and then abruptly landed in his seat with the requested upgrades in packages and set them on the counter. His glasses shined.

"Thank you for your business," Suitachi grinned as he deducted the zenny from Amadeo's account.

Both Navi and Operator stared stunned at the speed of the shop keeper, something made no sense about how he moved and it was a shocking site. "T-thank you s-sir." He grabbed the upgrades glancing at his PET where Longshot looked just as stunned, "I've got nothing... umm but we got the upgrades right? Lets go! We should check the board to see if anyone responded."

Amadeo nodded slowly starting back out the shop glancing back at Suitachi nodding in thanks before scooting the store to install the upgrades and fine a terminal to hop online with.

Damian came crashing in through the store, "Dude, I need a sig edit badly!"

Quickly putting 100 zenny on the counter, The teen quickly tried to come up with some kind of strategy...

"WOAH!"

Suitachi immediately grabbed the nearest thing possible and threw is at Damian's face...and it just so happens to be the Process Edit. Quickly swiping the 100 zenny off the counter, he directly pointed at the door with an angry face. "DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT AND COME AGAIN!!"

"Heh, sorry..." was all the air Damian could spare as he ran out...

Aelieth almost flew up the stairs out of the metro, beads of sweat rolling down his brow. When he finally made it into the store, a wall of cool air hit him and he doubled over, clutching the knifelike pain in his side. "Tournament--*gasp*... next round--*gasp*... need Process--*wheeze*-- Upgrades..." he laboriously managed to cough out, 300 zenny protruding from under the hand he was using to prop himself up on the counter with.

Rachel pushed the door open and strutted in. She took no time looking around at the various shelves and displays, but marched right up to the counter in a display of false confidence as soon as she managed to locate it with her eyes.

"Hello, sir," she said to the shopkeeper, briefly making eye contact with him before starting to read from the note in her hand. "I'll have a... Speed Upgrade 2.0 please. I believe that should cost me ten thousand Zenny."

She slid an unsealed envelope across the table and waited expectantly.

"By the way, my name is Rachel. Are you Suitachi?

"VERY WELL ZEN," Suitachi announced, donning a monocle as he slammed his hands on the counter. Grabbing the zenny, Suitachi expertly threw it into the register and sped toward one end of the back of the store and returned with two packages in tow.

Monocle flashing with backlit, the words, "Have a nice day," came from the shopkeep as the packages were revealed to be Process Upgrades.

"Yes, I am indeed Suitachi," the shopkeep replied to Rachel as he swiped the money before presenting her with a speed upgrade.

"Why do you ask?" Suitachi inquired, glasses flashing.

Rachel LOSE: 10,000z.
Get: Speed Upgrade #2.

"While I was doing research and shopping for upgrades, I learned that you're quite the celebrity around here. Actually you used to be a high-class Netbattler yourself, didn't you?"

Rachel, who had been peering at Suitachi over the tops of her thin classes, pushed them up her nose again as she took the small package and turned on her heel to leave. "Anyway, I suspect we'll be meeting again soon. Until next time, Suitachi."

Her shoes clacked loudly against the tiled floor as she strutted out and hurried off to relieve her brother.

"Thanks..." Aelieth wheezed, feebly grasping for the packages. Tucking them under his arm and holding tight, he made his way to the door before taking off once again, praying he could make it back to the Colosseum in time.

All right, this is getting kind of boring. Where are we, anyway? Eternalis said as the entered the building.
Yeah, I did tell you we were getting something for you. I suppose this is the Navi Shop, since it says that in big freaking letters above the entrance.
Mmm, good point. What are you getting me?

Harke walked up to the counter and looked around for the owner. He rummaged around in his pocket and found his ID, storing his zenny and credentials and all that crap. He couldn't find the owner anywhere. Well, might as well just yell for him.

Hey! Suitachiii! I need a HP Memory, a Process Edit and 2 Process Upgrades! He held up the card in his hand, waving it around as he did the math in his head while he shouted, calculating the amount to be about 1360 zenny in all.

The shopkeeper looked at Harke in a confused expression. "...Do I know you?". While he kept on staring at Harke, he looked down at the money card he was holding and smirked. "Well, a customer of mine is always my friend! Hold on for a second.". Suitachi looked up in the store shelf and picked up all the requested upgrades and set it down on the store counter. Taking the card right off of Harke's hand and swiping it on the cash register, Suitachi slid the upgrades and the card at the operator with a friendly smile. "This is all! Come Again!"

Harke rubbed the back of his neck and looked flustered. Heh, yeah, I don't really know you. A friend told me your name. Anyway, thanks for the upgrades, I'll see you again! Harke swiped the card and upgrades and promptly left the store.

Duke wandered into the shop, looking once again like he was extremely deprived of sleep. "Think I'll take a nap after the second round," he said absentmindedly before walking up to the counter.

"I'll take an HPMemory and two Process Upgrades, please," he said in a faint monotone, placing 6700z on the counter.

"Oh? I think I saw you on the TV with that tournament! Congrats on your win!". Suitachi smiled and tried to shake hands with Duke, but realized that his hands were too dirty to be touching anything, so he with drew it and headed to the backroom storage. "It'll be just a second, 'Champ'". Shortly, the shopkeeper laid the upgrades down to the counter and took the money and started to count.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence," Duke said, though the tiredness in his voice made it difficult to tell whether he was being sarcastic or not. Taking the upgrades, he simply nodded to Suitachi and left the shop.

Once more, Sabrina found herself entering the Navi shop, once again heading straight for the counter.

"Zzz..."

...The sound of her Navi snoring, however, was all new. "Gah, sorry about that...my Navi had a rough day yesterday. So, how about a couple of Custom upgrades?" The proper 2500z total was placed on the counter, having already been counted before entering the shop.

"Yep, that navi sure looks beat. I'll get the upgrade for ya." The shopkeeper took the Zennies off the counter and walked into the backroom storage. Coming back with two pristine packaged upgrades, he laid them down on to the counter and sighed. "People just aren't buying enough of these, I almost have too many of 'em...Make sure to come back and buy some more!"
