Inside the shop

Leon nodded at the shopkeep and grabbed the upgrade. "Thanks."

He made a rather hasteful retreat to the door, as it seemed the shop was getting rather busy with pre-tournament buyers. He installed the upgrade as he rounded the corner and left the store.

"Ahh thanks mister Suitachi." Polonius said with a nod as he left the store, heading towards the Colosseum curiously to see how the tournament was.

"Danke!" Virgil said, grabbing the box of upgrades and leaves the establishment.

Lex spotted the many people that had just left the store and headed towards it, it was at this moment though that he remembered that he forgot his pet, cursing his luck, he tried to look on the bright side; he had his money.

Walking through the front door, Lex shuffled his way up to the eccentric shopkeeper and asked, "Can I buy a process edit? Oh and thanks for the deal the other day." He held out his hand with a pile of 140 zennys precariously perched in coins.

Walking into the shop, Zeo gave the place a once-over. "Haven't been here in a while," he said. His navi remained quiet. Zeo looked at his PET and saw that ViralMan was sleeping. "Fine," he said sulkily. "Ignore me."

Approaching the counter, he figured out what he wanted. Slapping down the PET like a credit card, he said, "One Speed Upgrade, an HP Memory, and 4 Process Upgrades, please. Which should be 7,000z on the dot, if my math's correct."

Suitachi looked at Lex a little strange, but shrugs and responds to him. "Yea sure! Everything for the customer, kid...But I need to tell you somethin." Suitachi only took out 60 zennies from his hands and handed him the process edit. To clean up the confusing, Suitachi started to explain why he only took part of the zennies. "You see, your navi is still in level 2. So, your Signature Point Limit is up to 60, not 140. Hence, you only need 60zs to get this upgrade."

The shopkeeper turned to Zeo, who was a new customer for him but requested a large amount of upgrades all at once, putting a big smile over Suitachi's face. "Alright! You hold on for a minute or two." Instantly, Suitachi brought a small box, full of the upgrades Zeo requested. Counting the money and checking that the two customer got what they wanted, he waved towards them and said, "Come Again!"

Zeo grabbed the upgrades and smiled. "Thanks a lot. Now we'll be less inclined to lose." He turned, giving a small wave back. "I'll be back when I've got more money, you can count on that."

Heading for the door, he started hitting his PET and yelling, "Hey! Wake up!" Turning the corner outside the door, he realized something. "No! Wait! Don't wake up! You need to be in standby to install the upgrades!" he yelled more.

ViralMan woke up anyway, and now an argument broke out over Zeo's apparent stupidity, which rang around the area.

Lex thought about this for a moment, but he bought the upgrades earlier and... OH! Quickly realising his mistake, Lex pocketed the rest of the money and headed for the door, his cheeks slightly red with embarrassment.

The door to the shop slammed open with a cracking sound, the type that made everyone within 20 feet cringe for the sake of the door. A sweat-soaked Chad bounded to the counter with a haste clearly unusual for him "I require 2 process upgrades and a 2nd HP upgrade immediately" Chad shouted, slamming the requisite 4200 zenny on the table with a motion that was more likely from exhaustion than motivation.

"A latecomer eh? Hold on a sec," Suitachi commented, adjusting his beanie and searching for the upgrades. He soon found them and put them on the table, extracting the promised 4200 zenny as well.

"You give them a good fight, eh?" Suitachi grinned, waving at Chad.

Chad LOSE: 4200z
GET: Process Upgrades level 13, 14. HP Memory Level 2.

"You know I will" Chad said before grabbing the upgrades and rushing out

Damian walked in past the speeding dude, "Can I have my third HP upgrade?" putting 2,000 zenny on the counter.

Suitachi checked and counted the cash and placed it inside his cash register. "Alright, Level 3 HP Upgrade it is!". Suitachi headed into the back room and loud shuffling noise was echoing. Yes, echoing. Few minutes later, the shopkeeper was surrounded by dusts and oil and handed a nicely packaged HP Upgrade to Damian. "Alright, here's your upgrade. Come Again! *cough cough*"

Damian LOSES: 2000z

"thank you..." Damian said. Turning, he walked out the door...

Trenn walked into the shop, snapping his fingers and humming a tune. He swiped his PET over the scanner just long enough for it to read his account balance, and spoke. "Two Process Upgrades, please."

Suitachi, as if to mock Trenn's snapping, strutted into view, snapping his fingers from side-to-side, saying, "Oh, no, you, did-n't." He then adjusted his glasses and took the money, seemingly back to normal.

"Have a nice day," Suitachi muttered, pushing two Process Upgrades onto the counter.

Trenn LOSE: 1500z.
GET: Level 7, Level 8 Process Upgrades.

Trenn took the upgrades, gave a curt nod towards Suitachi, then left the store.

He'd have some programming to do on his way to the Colosseum...

Na'im walked into the store with his PET on his back, the strap attached to it hanging around his chest. Slowly he shuffled his feet towards the counter and looked around for Suitachi. "Threeeeee NaviCust expansions," Na'im said and slid 10500 zenny onto the counter, adding 500 for each additional purchase, then continued by saying, "And one Process Upgrade." With that said, he slid a final 1500 zenny onto the counter.

"Shur thing." The man behind the counter stated, as he went beneath the counter to gather the requested upgrades. After glancing over the zenny total, he swiped it up and laid the upgrades back on the counter, leaving them just in front of Na'im.

"Thank you. Have a nice day." The clerk said, with a smile and a dismissing wave, before resuming whatever it was he was doing before.

"Thank you," Na'im said as he waved at Suitachi politely while turning around. His PET's screen was visible to Suitachi now he was with his back towards the shop keeper, allowing him to see Djinni as she waved at him as well. Shortly after that, Na'im left the store.
