RE: Recovery Active
If I can throw my hat into the ring, what about something along these lines?
Backup: Give the undershirt effect to target ally. May only be used once per battle. No player may have multiple Backups in a given battle.
(I shorthanded the effect, but something along those lines)

Boxer.EXE
Name: Boxer.EXE
Gender: Male
Element: Fire
Type: Guts
Appearance: Where Joey is a towering beanpole, Boxer is a stocky powerhouse. His most prominent feature, aside from the meaty beat sticks he calls "arms", is the overly caricatured cleft chin which, at last measure, was wider than the rest of his head. A constant field of stubble adorns his lower face, stopping just below his nose and covering where his usual leering grin splits his face. Boxer's appearance was loosely modeled on Pops back in his prime, muscles rippling underneath a black, skintight Navi suit modified to look like a tank top that runs down his body to about mid-thigh. Around his waist is a gigantic championship belt, identical to the one Pops is wearing in the pictures lining the gym, save for the boxing bell Emblem emblazoned upon the medallion in the center. Even though the belt is huge, his movement is unimpeded by the awkward accessory. Similar to Joey, Boxer sports red shorts, a pair of red gloves and black boxing boots. When his combat routines activate, a red boxing helmet appears around his head, covering the coif of black hair that rests atop his head.
Personality: In Boxer's mind, he's the best thing since... well, since ever. Much of his personality is borrowed, once again, from Pops. Unfortunately, Pops is a product of another time, leaving Boxer with an arrogant, abrasive, hot-headed, overly-competitive and, quite frankly, chauvinistic personality, quite unsuited for this day and age. This behavior was, of course, encouraged by the Twins while he acted as their Navi (Boxer has been each of the Sangrelli children's Navi at some point or another), as was his man-handling of Joey in the boxing ring. Of course, when Sara and Jess went through their training (Pops didn't discriminate when it came to making sure his children could hold their own in the ring), he kept his personal opinions to himself lest he find himself deleted by a vengeful father, but in dealing with people outside the family, his views on women and their position in society become well known rather fast. As part of Pops' nothing-but-boxing mentality, Boxer manifests nearly all of his attacks as a punch of some kind, which keeps him in close combat with all of his enemies. Boxer's one track mentality, along with his abrasive personality, has often resulted in trouble for the Navi, leaving Joey to deal with the consequences.
Custom Weapon: Fisticuffs — He's a boxer, he hits things. That's about as inventive as he's going to get with this.
Signature Attacks:
Sucker Punch: Boxer delivers an unexpected blow to his opponent, catching them off guard and sending them reeling. 30 damage + stun (60 points)
NCP: Undershirt, HP +50.

Joseph Sangrelli
Name: Joseph Sangrelli
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Joey Sangrelli is one gangly teen. The youngest of seven, two sisters and four brothers, he towers above his friends and family at 6'7" and weighs in at only 185 pounds, making him look as he had been tied to the rack and stretched out. Shortly cropped brown hair sits above hazel eyes almost perpetually ringed by a circle of bruised skin, giving stark contrast to his fair complexion. Coming from a big family means hand-me-downs, resulting in shirts that are one size too large (across, not long), accentuating how thin he is, and pants that are too short, causing him to usually wear shorts, even in the winter. His boxing gear shares similar problems to his normal clothes. The family gym, built below the living area, only has one pair of sparring gloves that haven't been claimed by his siblings. The wrist guards on them are much too short to cover his forearms while the gloves themselves are too large for his hands. The boxing shoes are the only articles of clothing that Joey actually enjoys wearing. The faded, supple leather fit around his legs and lower calves like a glove and he often wears them in place of his trainers.
Personality: Those outside the know would call Joey a "jumpy" or "skittish" young man. Joey would say that he's prepared. After 16 years of dealing with Mac and Mike, the Twins, who continually antagonized him, undergoing his father's harsh and rigorous training regimen (which Boxer was more than happy to participate in) and the sheer amount of hits he's taken participating in youth boxing matches, Joey had to develop a quick dodge reflex or he'd be in much worse shape than he's in now. Though he's been boxing since he could walk, Martial Arts movies are his guilty pleasure. This may seem an odd choice, but in the Sangrelli household Boxing is king, as the former Heavyweight is quick to remind his kids. If he suspects anything of demeaning his passion, placing what goes down in the ring below something else, Pops is quick to retaliate, often running the unfortunate soul who called down his ire through the wringer. "Ain't no Sangrelli boy gonna do no flippy-kicks or sissy wrist flicks. If yer gonna fight, yer gonna do it tha' right way!" Despite his hard-knock life, Joey is easygoing and light hearted. He's fiercely loyal to his friends and has often seen the inside of the principal's office for getting into fights against those who wrong them.
PET Modifications: Joey's PET bears a great deal of scratches and scuffmarks, leaving only patches of the original red and black paintjob intact. Embedded in the bottom of the device is an added port, which Pops installed so that it could interface with the old training rig in the gym. There have been numerous times that Boxer has clocked Joey in the face via the robotic torso.

RE: Where did all the Boxers go?
Bringing Boxer back out. Dumping Exploit in the garbage. Also, making a minor change to Joey's weight, bumping it up to 185 since at 158 and 6'7" he should probably be dead or close to it.

RE: Mission: Catastrophic Development
"Neptune? I can hardly see anything through all this gas..." Aelieth said, bringing the screen of the PeT only inches from his face and squinting into the window that showed him an angled aerial view of the area around Holo. Even with the screen this close, he could only make out a teal glow where the light from Holo's projectors hit the gas and diffused and the six pixels of light from the test-bots' eyes. "Hmm... without being able to properly see.... I guess the best plan is just to throw what we can with the biggest effect and hope it hits..." he shrugged. The excursion to Hades Isle had netted him and Holo some new chips, one of which seemed ideal for the situation.
Holo shrugged, the movement not registering a whole lot in the fog. Two chips suddenly loaded into his registers: one of the new ones, and one he was intimately familiar with. Splitting up, Holo (now in the plural) shifted sideways in opposite directions. Mirrored steps noiselessly hit the ground as the two projections circled the trio of test-bots. The points of light were their only point of reference, and the glow from the Holos' combined luminescence made it more difficult to keep an eye on them. Once the Navis were about twenty feet apart, a burst of white light flashed from each teal blob as Holo loaded his first chip. Two large fuel canister strapped to their back, a bandana on their head, a cigar in their teeth and a four foot wand sporting a tiny pilot light in their hands, the Holo's hefted their flame throwers and pulled the trigger.
"I really hope that gas isn't flammable..." Aelieth murmured.
Gouts of flame erupted the tip of the wands, blossoming forward in twin solid walls of rolling fire. The twin infernos washed over the ground the glowing lights seemed to occupy, combining to form a funnel of flame. Holo threw the wands aside, which shattered into motes of light, and then threw themselves as well, rolling to avoid a possible counter attack. As the spew from the FlameLine died out, two blocks of glowing light faced the dying inferno, standing between it and two smaller glows.

RE: Mission: Catastrophic Development
Holo thought about the choices in front of him. At least, he struck a pose that indicated that he was thinking. His decision was made up long before the cleft of his fingers touched down on a newly formed chin, made specifically for the purpose of stroking with a thoughtful purposefulness. Mars was similar enough to Earth to be familiar, but different enough to be interesting. He reached for the second button from the bottom, slipped, and jabbed his finger into Neptune.

RE: Mission: Catastrophic Development
One thing Holo had noticed, being unable to talk, was that he often didn't have a lot to say. Even with something as awe-inspiring as this highly detailed, intricate and, frankly, beautiful simulation of the small patch of the universe they all inhabited, the sum total of his feelings and thoughts on the topic were summed up by a rather enthusiastic thumbs up and a floating back flip.

So yeah, I forgot to actually shelve Boxer somewhere back in time. Fixing that now.

Boxer's one track mentality, along with his abrasive personality, has often resulted in trouble for the Navi, leaving Joey to deal with the consequences.
