...Okay, now I realize why everyone complains about Uxie. Let me compare what I had to do to catch the three Pixies:
Mespirit: Caught it once, accidentally turned off the game without saving, and had to catch it again
Azlef: Used one Ultra Ball, failed, then used a Dusk Ball, which worked. Then again, I did manage to freeze it with a lucky Ice Fang from my Glaceon, which made things oh so easy.
Uxie: Used up 27 Ultra Balls, 25 Dusk Balls, and 6 Timer Balls before I snagged it with a Timer Ball. Yeah, that took a while. It was even Paralyzed the whole time (Thankies, Jolteon!)
Yeah, Uxie was a bitch to catch.
On another note, I got my first Eevee, caught six more, and got all the Eeveelutions. Shweet.
On yet another note, I caught Rotom in one Dusk Ball, caught Dialga in three Ultra Balls without any status problems, and caught doubles of all the Diamond-exclusives (cept Dialga) and traded them with my cuz for his doubles of all the Pearl exclusives. Also shweet.

@Azelf: So I\'m not the only one that didn\'t have trouble catching it, then. 2 dusk balls for me.
@Uxie: Man, you should\'ve used the timer ball sooner. Only took me 10 dusk balls before I switched to timer balls and caught it on the third.
@Dialga: not too impressive. Dialga is actually much easier to catch than the average legendary (catch rate of...I think 30 instead of 3).
@Rotom: another easy one. Took one dusk ball for me as well, and I saw someone on Youtube catch one at full health with one ultra ball.
Now Giratina, Heatran, Mesprit, and Cresselia, THOSE were bitches to catch. Heatran actually killed off my whole team on one attempt.

Rotom was too easy. For something so well-hidden, you'd think it should've been at a higher level. yes, I'm aware that any n00b that accidentally discovered it at the same time they discovered the Chateau would get pwned by it, but it would be pretty funny to see.
I'm already aware that catching Dialga so quickly isn't impressive. Hell, it was pathetic.
Azlef was easy to catch, but it was annoying because I somehow forgot to bring both my Pingu AND Clock (Empoleon and Dialga), so I was stuck with using Sparky the Level 49 Luxray to catch it. And when Azlef's maxed out its Special Attack with Nasty Plot, and its target isn't resistant to Psychic moves, it can get pretty ugly. The fight took a long time because I was constantly healing Sparky from the barrage of Confusions, and using other Pokemon as meat shields for Future Sights. Either way, its now in my PC, and I'm happy for that.
About Uxie, as if I hadn't tried Timer Balls earlier on in the fight (which was still a long time after the start) I didn't waste all of one kind of Ball, then another. I was mixing them up, throwing in a Timer Ball every now and then. I was beginning to doubt the Timers because even though the turn count had exceeded 40, they were still only wobbling once, maybe twice, before breaking. Pure luck, in fact, that I snagged Uxie.
About Heatran, that sounds surprisingly like a buddy of mine, who somehow failed to see that his entire team was vulnerable to fire or steel, one way or another.
Mespirit was actually the easiest out of any legendary (besides Dialga) to catch. All I had to do was chase it into an area with very few grass patches (like Valley Windworks) and use a Max Repel. Then, once it appeared, get Pingu to use an Aqua Jet, and it'll flee. I did this three times, then used one Quick Ball. Poof, instant Pixie #2.
Finally, what about Regigigas?
Wow, long Pokemon post.

Regigigas? I don\'t have Ruby, Sapphire, OR Emerald, so I don\'t have the three required to get it.

Giratina was rather easy to catch. I was surprised. Both Azelf and Uxie gave me hell. I don't see the point because noone uses them, so they're wasted legends...and you need them for national dex...

I had no trouble with Uxie... I paralyzed and confused it right off the bat, got it to like 1 pixel of HP, and spammed ultraballs. Like.. maybe 10?
Azelf still rapes me though.
Something I forgot! I traded like... some pokemon I hated and never planned on using in the GTS.... and lo and behold... I got myself an Aipom with PKRS. Sweet. Action.

Azelf was a real problem sense that uproar didn't allow me to put it a sleep. Really, I caught it the second time I encountered it with a quick ball since I took my chances with the catch when it had like a half bar of energy. Plus I wasn't even looking at my DS because I was arguing with this girl I hated so much, and then when I looked at my DS I saw I caught it by pure luck and chance and then I told the girl in front of me that she was so ugly that this pokemon captured itself not to see her face which was a coincidence, but oh well!
Uxie was easy. I used my pokemon's synchronize to make it fall asleep after it used yawn. Nuff said!
Mespirit was easy! When my Misdrevus casts it's mean look and then uses a shadow ball and gets it's energy low, It's a sinch!
Now Regigas was another story. This pokemon is powerful and is a normal type, but still it shows why it's the ruler of those three matter pokemon. The thing has one heck of a special and your level has to be high to last in battle with it, or at least have a rock type that could resist it's powerful normal attack which name I ahve forgotten again.
Cresselia I didn't give a chance. Considering that it always runs around the region, I just used one out of two Masterballs seeing I won't nee dmy last one until I see that legendary Matter pokemon. (Yes, three Masterballs. I won the lottery using the numbers for one and then you can just transfer your masterball from emerald, sapphire, leaf green, fire red, or Ruby if you don't use them.) I would have three, but I used one on Latias!
Heatran wasn't so bothersome. It's trouble, but not much trouble since status conditions were inflicted on it.
-----
Oh, does anyone know how to get the last three legendaries? I heard they are only obtainable through something else. It was another Ghost type, that pokemon that uses the plates, and some kind of small rodent that's a grass type, correct?

You're talking about Arseus, Darklai and...
Damn, can't remember.
Yeah, apparently Darklai is gained through a special event.
Arseus and the other... I'm not so sure.

I'll explain how to get all of them.
Darkrai: The Nintendo Event gives you a Member's Card, which lets you unlock that locked house (which is actually an Inn) in Canalave City. Go to sleep in the bed, and Darkrai will appear in the dream. When you wake up, there will be a diary on the desk. Show it to the Sailor that takes you to Iron and Full Moon Islands, and he'll take you to New Moon Island. Darkrai will be waiting for you there, and its at Level 40, and is a Dark-type, despite its ghostly appearance. You can't leave until you either beat it or catch it. Note that you have to have already met Cresselia to do this.
Shaymin: The Event gives you the item 'Oak's Letter'. Go to VICTOLY Road, and go to Route 224 or something. Either way, its the place with the white rock with the engravings on it. Talk to Oak, and answer the questions. If you do it right, Shaymin will appear, and you have to chase it to the edge of the map, in this place called Flower Paradise. Its at Level 30, and is Grass-type, duh.
Arceus: Just personally, I like its Japanese name, Aruseus, better. Either way, the Event nets you a Heaven's Pipe. Get back to Spear Pilliar by climbing to the top of Mount Coronet. Once you get to that plate thingy, the game will ask you if you want to play the Flute. Play it, and this set of crystal stairs will take you to the Beginning Dimension, where Aruseus is waiting at Level 80, as normal-type. Also, just a note that its 'cry' is freakin' WEIRD! Also (again), there hasn't been an official picture of it yet, as with Shaymin. Darkrai's the only one that Nintendo actually drew a picture of, because of that tenth movie coming out: Dialga Vs. Palkia Vs. Darkrai.
Yeah, I think I know a little too much about the game. Also, the only legit way to get all three of them is to go to the Nintendo Events. Otherwise, you'll need an Action Replay or a Gameshark or whatever you stinkin' hackers use.

I have godly luck in catching legendaries.
Azelf: 2 Ultra balls at 1/8 hp
Uxie: 1 Dusk ball at 1/12 or less HP
Mespirit: I hate runners... Master Ball'd
Dialga: 1 Luxury ball... You read that right... Luxury Ball (I figured "Why the Hell not?")
Heatran: 2 Ultra Ball, 1 Dusk Ball at 1/8 HP
Giratina: 1 Ultra Ball... At 1/3 HP... I accidentally threw the ball rather than using a Hyper Potion...
Cresselia: Still looking for a Master Ball... I HATE runners.
Darkrai/Shayman/Arceus: Still waiting for Nintendo Events (Which may be happening over the Wii!!!!)
Manaphy/Phione: I don't own Pokemon Ranger, nor do I plan to, lay off.
Eevee: Bred 36 of them for the sole purpose of finding the perfect personality type for each evolution. Have the first five... Just need to get around to Leafeon and Glaceon. (I'm lazy.)
Female Combee: Thought breeding a male Combee with Ditto was the easiest option... It was the fastest... But not the most entertaining. And I probably made a whole hive of males before FINALLY getting the female...
Shedinja: Have to go back to Sapphire and get one so I can Pal Park it... I evolved three Ninjask in Diamond, with the empty slot in my party... But no Shedinja...
Dream Team:
Scyther
Hippowdon
Golduck
Lucario
Mismagus (Need... Misdreavus... Not... In... Diamond!)
Either Electrode or Magneton's Evolution (Forgot a name???? Nooooooooo!)

Does it have to be a pokèball specifically, or can it be any ol' ball? I've always had Nest Balls, Dark Balls, and Ultra Balls in my inventory...
I've met all the other requirements. And I do have some more nincada in my PC... Bred a few to try and get good IV's.
Yeah, I'm one of those nuts who wants the very best. My Scyther has a 31 IV in both Speed and Attack... /Drool

i THINK it doesn't matter what kind of pokeball it is.....as LONG as you have one AND an open space in the damn party.

Either Electrode or Magneton's Evolution (Forgot a name???? Nooooooooo!)
I'd suggest Magnezone. It's actually in the Top 100, while Electrode isn't. And while Electrode has broken Speed Stats, its relatively weak, whereas Magnezone has better stats, plus it learns a TON of moves, though they're all mostly Electric, with some Steel and the occasional Normal.
My Non-Legendary Dream Team:
Woofles the Arcanine
Snoozy the Kingdra
Rawr the Salamence (or Nibbles the Garchomp)
Buzz the Electivire
UFOs R Hot the Metagross
S**tmover the Espeon (or S**tblastr the Umbreon) (a cookie to anyone who gets the joke here)
Yeah, awesome.
I also breed like hell; I once bred a TON of Feebas just so I could get a female with a Modest Nature. Also did the same thing with breeding Magikarp. Either way, most of my results got a funky Egg Move.

Azelf kicks my ass every single time. : (
XD
Bring a Spirittomb (Or Sableye) to the fight, I can guarantee it won't deal much damage to you unless it spams extrasensory.
Dark + Ghost = No weaknesses/Immune to Psychic and Normal Moves
Azelf's Attacks: Extrasensory (Psy, but can hit regardless of resistances), Confusion (Psy), Uproar (Normal), Nasty Plot (Status)
Or bring something at an obscenely high-level with the move "False Swipe"... Supreme Non-lethal pwnage!
@Spacemonkey:
Camerupt should hold one of those water-damage reducing berries.
Torterra should hold Leftovers instead of the Big Root.
Swampert? Give 'em a... Anti-grass berry?
Gilscor gets one of those items that increase crit chance, hands down. It's obvious that you're going for crits with his moveset, so give yourself that advantage right off the bat!
