Lucky meets Magistrate!

"As usual our chemistry stands tall. Way to make quick work of this battle guys." Sparks went to claim the rewards that had been set aside from him. In the real world Joseph was pleased to see a new chip, as well as a little more pocket change to hit the shop with later.

Lucky apporached Suzume with a pant, but happily licked up the fragments that she offered him. "Thank you." A goofy looking grin seperated the dog's jawline, followed by the limp unusual colored tongue that hang to the right.

"We can keep going whenever you guys are ready." Sparks pointed out, knocking away some of the sand that had managed to spread across his armor and suit.

[Requesting Battle 2.]

Sparks and lucky followed suite, falling in line behind their comrades and headed deepening into the Hades Net.
((Searching for battle 2))
(+1 FXP)

With their reunion coming off to a great start, the large group began their trek further into Hades. The sands continued to stretch out in a direction, though they could see a smaller feature in the middle of the expanse of hot sands. A pool of lava, in the middle of which stood a lone island made entirely out of metal, with three strong-looking viruses clustered around a green Mystery Data crystal. One of them was a floating Gaia statue with a crackling hammer. Another one was a Basher's enormous triple-barrel turret head, mounted on a caterpillar drive, with a large shield attached to its front. The last one was another one of the potted dragons that DragonierMan was hunting for.

Scattered about the field were a variety of viruses, as well. A pair of Megalian heads directly above them that were flying down in their direction, a duo of a Champu and a Flamey hovering above the lava pool in front of them, and a hooded Metrid hiding behind the metal island's inhabitants, trying to keep itself out of sight. All of them flared up as soon as they approached, and readied themselves for battle!

-- Triple Threat --
Sledge V1Sledge V1 (Sledge)

Sledge are a combination of the ElecOgre, Gaia, and Megalian-E viruses. A Sledge looks like a floating Gaia statue carved to look like the chip image of Zeus that holds a Zeus Hammer slung over one shoulder. The viruses use the Zeus Hammer in all of their attacks, and should they throw or lose theirs, they will generate a new one as a free action.

MagnumGuard V1MagnumGuard V1 (MagnumGuard)

MagnumGuards are a combination of the Basher, Gunner, and IronShield viruses. For the most part, they simply look like a Basher's upper turret mounted on a heavily armored catterpillar drive with an extra set of armatures that hold an IronShield in place before the turret. The shield faces in whatever direction the turret faces, allowing the virus to move in one direction while attacking and defending in another. The Basher's signature secondary cannon arms are able to reach out far enough to shoot while the shield is down, and the main cannons fire when the shield is up.

MagmaDragonMagmaDragon (MagmaDragon)

This high tier virus is only encountered after battle 5. A PotDragon's pot is stationary during battle, as it remains above the panel the virus appeared on until battle is over or the virus is deleted, and will not fall even if the panel below it should be destroyed. PotDragons have two main attacks, each geared towards either ground or aerial targets. When executed, the pot tilts or falls over, and the dragon charges at the enemy before looping back and returning to the pot. When threatened, they will duck into the pot, which is both indestructible and capable of shielding them from all damage and effects except those that manage to fly into the mouth of the pot. Even Beam Attacks and Blast damage won't leave a mark.

-- Battle 2 Ready? Start!! --
"There's two big ones." Lucky pointed with his snout. "And look, there's a data crystal back there behind them"

"Drago can you put a barrier over the data? i wouldn't want to damage it if Joseph were to send me the Gaia. Looks like it'd be a safe bet to use it aside from that. Lucky, change this sand and as much of the lava as you can to metal."

The pup did as he was told, blasting a silver colored fire ball at the sand beneath the groups feet, as it spread in each direction. Probably to DragoneirMan and his group's surprise, it wasn't hot, instead they would find it a cooling sensation as the silver flames solidified into a cold sheet of steel. Sparks took this time to step over, and mount himself into the saddle of the samurai armor Lucky was wearing. Joseph was slotting in an assortment of chips for his Navi to have access to while they made this first strike towards their new enemies. First came the DashAttack1 from Magistrate. "I'll lick your face as gratitude."

Before they were sent forward by the chips power, Sparks held his right hand, open palmed straight out in front of him, aiming at the virus with the big shield. Two rocket fist wooshed as they appeared and darted towards the target. One looking to push into the virus's defense, the other as a back up if that one failed, or in the best case scenario deal a little damage to the powerful enemy. A third rocket fist looked to slam into the aura covered Sledge virus. A clone of Sparks split out of his real body, and dashed towards the Flamey and Champu that looked to keep them away from the stronger opponents. Hoping to have caught their attention with the clone, Lucky's body shot forward with enhanced speed. A ghost like energy surrounded Lucky's body as he run forward, attempting to pierce the Flamey in front of them, all the way through the Sledge, hopefully destroying it's aura if it hadn't been taken care of yet.

Now that they were in range, Sparks unsheathed his blade, this time it dawned a short wooden katana blade. He slashed at the Sledge virus twice. One slash from above in a downward vertical fashion. The second came from the left, slicing horizontally with his expert swordsmanship. The slashes left a trail of green glowing wooden energy that took the shape of a basic cross. Sparks body seemed to drift back and forth atop hist partner giving him a little evasive boost. Suddenly, tiny streaks of electricity sparkled and cracked all over the whittled blade. A powerful attack was growing inside the weapon as Sparks tapped into another chip. The Sledge would recognize it as something similar to it's own attack. The tip of the wooden sword struck the metal below releasing a fast powerful lighting wave of destruction that sped towards all enemies in all directions, looking to devour everything in its path. Once the smoke cleared, Sparks continued to bob and weave in the first sign of trouble in the form of return fire.

DragonierMan, Magistrate, Suzume, and Aya took to the sky once more. They spun and twirled through the air as they flew up and away from the ground. They moved to intercept the two Megalian-Fs closing in on them from above. Sparks asked Drago to protect the Green Mystery Data (GMD) while they were at it. "You got it," Drago replied as he focused his defensive signatures around the GMD, encasing it in dragon scales and an opaque bubble. "Suzume protect Sparks, Aya protect Lucky," he added. "I got your back Sir Sparks!" Suzume called out as light engulfed his form. Aya followed suit by shrouding Lucky in darkness.

"Magistrate, send Lucky the DashAttack, I will increase his speed with it. Suzume and Aya, you got the Megalians," he commanded. The twins broke off and flew at the Megalian-Fs, painting them with multicolored light. Using the lasers to guide their attacks, they launched successive waves of water, one after the other. Suzume started off by slashing the air with her hand, sending a blade of water straight at the Megalian-Fs. As it cut through the Megalian-Fs space, Aya bolted into close range. She opened her mouth wide and vomited forth an icy fog. The smoke roiled outward and froze the water in the air, making the area around the Megalian-Fs bitterly cold. Meanwhile, Drago and Magi imbued Lucky with Overclocking speed and equipped him with the DashAttack1 battlechip. Drago also launched three rocket fists at the large Sledge V1 statue to weaken it for Sparks' attack. The three metal fists shed off Drago's gauntlets like snakeskin, and then propelled by their own internal booster engines, took off like missiles and sailed all the way down to crash into and around the metavirus.

The four dragoniers winged away from their attacks and evasively dodge through the air, hoping to avoid any retaliatory attacks. They spun around each other like a multi-strand helix and flew around in a small circle in formation. Joining them, moments later, was their friendly neighborhood fighter pilot.

Exiting a nearby portal in the sky, the P-47D Thunderbolt roared onto the scene and took formation with the four dragoniers. It waved to them before looking down upon the battlefield to assess the situation on the ground, and to watch the unfolding carnage. Receiving no immediate orders, it maintained formation until it was called to action.

Drago was also watching closely as Sparks prepared to launch a devastating, electrically-enhanced Gaia1 attack. His giant charged hammer smashed into the metal plating and sent a wave of lightning scorching across the terrain. If the GMD was unguarded by his earlier barrier, he would activate his Barrier100 battlechip to protect the data before Sparks attacked. If the GMD was still protected, then he would wait until the wave passed, then activate the Barrier100 to replace the popped barrier.

After Sparks' ground-storm, Drago pointed out the weakened remainders. "Good hunting," he told his fellow hunters as he dropped an electrically charged PotDragon onto the field from his place in the sky. The 'bomb' bounced off the metal ground and released an extremely dangerous, and very angry, storm-dragon. Lightning spewed from its sharp fangs and talons as it swept across the field to devour all viruses within its range, slithering this way and that way. The metal magnetized as it passed, charging the iron with a strong attractive force. Both the P-47D Thunderbolt and Magistrate split off from the main force and began hunting targets of opportunity. They rained shells down upon their weakened enemy with a BUDDA-BUDDA-BUDDA. Machine guns and energy blasts indenting the ground as they passed overhead. If they couldn't find any weak enemies, they would rain their destructive energies upon the most healthiest of the enemy. Whittling them down.

While Sparks took to the ground with Sparky, transforming part of the terrain to their favor, the fliers took to the sky towards the Megalians, after providing their comrades and the Mystery Data crystal with sufficient protective measures. The Megalians swerved around the fighters intruding their airspace, with one of them launching its head forward in a flaming headbutt. Despite his best efforts, DragonierMan was caught in the sudden charge, as the head scorched part of his arm in a side collision. (-40)

Afterwards, they both executed a dual attack, matching their MeteorKnuckles onto the Sledge out in front, dealing a not-insignificant amount of damage to the statue-like virus, though not quite enough to take it down. Lucky then carried his rider with a DashAttack imbued with superspeed, tearing through the field with impunity and dealing a good chunk of damage to the Flamey and Sledge, deleting the former. The latter retaliated by smashing its hammer around to no avail, as Lucky was too fast. Its antics slightly injured its allies around it as well, much to their chagrin.

Meanwhile, Aya and Suzume were dealing with the two Megalians with matching Aqua-element attacks. However, one of the Megalians was too quick for them, initiating evasive maneuvers to easily circumvent the two attacks, while the other one, having exhausted itself from the attack earlier, received a nice helping of frost. Further down, the MagnumGuard whirred to life, and aimed its cannons skyward towards DragonierMan, Suzume and Aya. A brief whine preceded its cannons filling with a brilliant red light, before firing a triple salvo of attacks high into the air. Fortunately, their speed managed to match the energy bursts, and they evaded the Magnum rounds successfully.

Down on the ground, the Champu dashed in towards the canine/samurai duo and threw out a pair of punches, though only one landed, and it was easily repelled by Lucky's barrier before it broke. Undeterred by the attack, the samurai Navi struck out at the Sledge with his wooden sword and bisected it horizontally with a couple of slashes, deleting it successfully. The MagmaDragon, sensing its demise coming up soon, rushed out towards Sparks as it melted the ground around it. While he managed to avoid the dragon's attack, Lucky only barely deflected it with the dark armor provided to him by Aya.

Then, Sparks took out his staple weapon, the Gaia battlechip, imbuing it into his sword before unleashing it on the battlefield. Unfortunately, due to the lava replacing Lucky's original metallic redesign, the attack's effect was diminished, with its effect reflecting off of the MagnumGuard's shield. The Champu and the Metrid managed to avoid its wrath by moving stretegically around the MagnumGuard as well, making the MagmaDragon the only victim of the otherwise impressive attack. Assistance then came out from above, with DragonierMan unleashing the ElecDragon on the stragglers, though unfortunately his aim was off, and the attack only wiped out the Metrid in its thundering wake. The Champu succumbed to the bullet fire of the AirRaid he summoned as well, reducing the enemy count down to three.

Area: All

It may target empty panels and objects as well as enemies.

Secondary Attack Damage/Effect: 5 Fire x 9 Shots + Spray Fire + Double Attack
Secondary Attack Accuracy: D
Secondary Attack Description: Sprays the enemy with a hail of machine cannon fire from each cannon arm.

Tertiary Attack Damage/Effect: 10 Fire + Break + Panel Break x 3 Targets + Double Attack
Tertiary Attack Accuracy: C
Tertiary Attack Description: Fires a spread of flaming cannonballs from each cannon arm.

Lucky managed to stay out of harms way due to the protection provided from his teammates, while he was also able to keep his rider out away from danger as well. Sparks sent another one of his clones running to his right, wanting to have the two viruses he was close to to target and waste there attacks on a fake target giving him time to think. While the samurai Navi focused on his next plan of action, he could feel more chip data incoming. The first being the PickPocket chip. Activating it, the Bandcoon was summoned atop Lucky, right in front of where Sparks was seated. "Go get us something from that big guy right there." Sparks patted it on it's head, and pushed it on it's way. The rodent didn't have far to go as they were close to the MagnumGuard, so the Bandcoon sprang from Lucky's back, and attempted to grab a part of the virufses cannons. Once his attempt was finished, it fled for safety awaiting the end of the battle.

As quick as he could Lucky tried to take the virus's left side, wanting to target a portion of it's body that wasn't behind a shield. Lucky howled, releasing his FireTower chip at point blank range, unless his mental grasp on where to summon the flame was off, it should spring up from the lava beneath the enemy dealing a powerful blow. The towering flame would continuing rising and falling, hopefully being able to turn enough and take out the MagmaDragon. Sparks would attack with two more slashes, mid swing the blade changed from the wooden katana, to an electric blade of energy, meaning Sparks replaced the BambooKnife with his more trusty ElecSword chip. The buzzing sound the energy blade made was profound as it sliced through the air looking to slice the MagnumGuard1 on it's unguarded side, and the MagmaDragon if it was close enough, and the angle was correct. With a roll of his wrist, he attacked with a second wideslash as he brought the blade back from the reverse direction of his first attack. After completing the combo Sparks ducked his head hoping keep his defenses in tact had his attacks been ineffective.

A feint, red glow surrounded the lighting blade as soon as Sparks tapped into yet another chip. The lava swirled and bubbled below them, when it started to stir even more, before splashing up high, forming a powerful wave of of destruction. The wave made it's way across the land, swallowing anything in its path, much like a tidal wave would tear up the coastline of a beach. Not sure if the enemies would be dispatched just yet, Sparks ducked one more time.

Finally he activated his last chip. Sheathing his ElecSword for the time being, a large Gaia hammer appeared, floating in front of him. He grabbed the heavy beast of a weapon, swinging it from left to right, and then twisting his wrist to bring it up high to to have it gain momentum. Once the hammer was at it's peak height, Sparks brought the weapon down towards the MagnumGuard, hoping to end the battle had it not been finished already.

DragonierMan took the brunt of the aerial Megalian-Fs' attack. "You plum done gone da done did't now son!" Drago yelled unintelligently as he flew with all speed at the remaining Megalian-F. He called out to the three sisters as he sped to the attack, pushing his processors to the limit, his armor and barrier returning to him. "He's mine, go after the others!" The three women and the P-47D Thunderbolt flew off towards the MagnumGuard V1, trying to get above the metavirus. The girls evasively flew through the air, through the flak of the MagnumGuard V1, to get a good angle on the target from above. Meanwhile, Drago got right up in the Megalian-F's face. Flying right up to the virus and tried to punch it in the face with a energy-fueled fist.

Suzume armored up as Aya attempted to replace the destroyed armor of her doggy ally. Then with the help of their allied pilot, the three women opened up upon the metavirus from above with powerful cannon shots. The pilot dipped his fighter plane and dived on the MagnumGuard V1, following the three guiding lights that played over the exposed top of their enemy. A barrage of thirteen shells of various caliburs rained down from above, pelting the area around the metavirus like hail. It was like being shelled by artillery. Meanwhile, Drago continued to circle the Megalian-F, continually punching at it with his energy fist.

The fighter plane pulled out of the dive and joined the sisters as they withdrew from their barrage. They evasively dodged away as they tried to withdraw to safety. Meanwhile, Drago continued to circle the Megalian-F, continually punching at it with his energy fist.

Drago then withdrew evasively after he ran out of fist-energy. He shot at the MagnumGuard V1 (or MagmaDragon if the MagnumGuard V1 was deleted) as he withdrew, sending another shell screaming down toward the virus. And then he ended his escapade by healing himself with a Recover80 battlechip.

Kept alive by the power of friendship and high-durability defenses, Sparks and Lucky kept the assault going on the two remaining viruses. Before that, however, a Bandcoon found itself on the field, as it bounded up to the tank-like virus to attempt to salvage something off of it. Unfortunately, it was immediately swatted away as the turret's shield swiveled to meet Sparks's gaze, before firing a doubled trio of flaming cannonballs into the air towards the two, as well as the decoy Sparks he sent out. All of them hit true to their mark, but they only managed to bounce off of the defensive barriers that had been provided to them. Seeing it was outmatched, the MagmaDragon ducked into its pot to defend itself as Lucky brought out his fiery breath, and Sparks extracted his ElecSword. The FireTower missed the MagnumGuard, as its aim slightly veered off course from the cannonball fire, and bounced off of the MagmaDragon's impervious pot. The same happened with the ElecSword, except that the MagnumGuard sustained damage from the blade this time around, before being inundated by the lava summoned up from Sparks's RedWave attack, leaving only the MagmaDragon still in its pot.

Up in the air, DragonierMan gave the Megalian an enormous blow with his GutImpact-imbued energy fist, breaking through its fiery aura with ease and deleting it in one shot, while the girls and the AirRaid pilot provided supporting fire on the MagnumGuard, further ensuring its demise. The final nail in the viruses' coffins came with DragonierMan's last shot, firing the MarkCannon down the mouth of the MagmaDragon's pot, destroying it and clearing the field of hostiles, before he patched himself up from the Megalian's earlier attack (+40). The only thing left on the field was the green mystery data crystal, revolving on its own axis as it awaited a decryption command.

Area: All

HP: 300

Primary Attack Description: The virus selects up to 3 targets, and spends an action charging up the main cannons. It then fires a Magnum blast that reduces most Network constructs to ashes with a single shot; usually leaving a blast crater where they once stood.

Special: SuperArmor: Immunity to Knockback, Microburst, Pull, Gravity, and similar effects.

"Good job comrades!" Sparks exclaimed after the successful battle. "NOW! That was was fun!"

Lucky playfully collapsesd in a puddle of Lava. "I'm tired."

Sparks approached the barrier covered GMD. "You want to do the honors?" He would gaze towards Drago if the Navi's team were taking back to the land.

((Yes))
DragonierMan came down to earth after the battle as the fighter plane left the battle again. He brought forth an Untrap subchip, slotting it into the GMD.

Currently available Untraps: 4.

Use an Untrap on the GMD and open it (currently available Untraps: 3).

NaviCust: Millions activates. GMD provides only zenny to DragonierMan.

The data crystal spun in place as the Untrap was applied to it, before it emitted a great amount of black smoke and a piercing howl and started to split in half. However, thanks to the Untrap, the transformation was quickly halted, and the crystal re-fused into its original form, before decrypting into a small zenny cache.

[GMD: 2800z x2]
"This whole network has got quite the infestation," Magistrate noted as they were surveying the aftermath and gathering up the valuable bits and pieces of data they could find. Aya huffed and puffed and groaned as she severed the triple barrel cannon from the MagnumGuard V1 and pushed it off the chassis into the lava below. "I agree. *puff, puff* We never seem to *huff, puff* catch a break here." Aya then waved over to Sparks before sitting down on the corpse of the metavirus to catch her breath. "You might have some use for that cannon. It is a doozy."

Suzume was floating around with a fireproof sack, gathering up chunks of bugfrags and zenny fragments. When she gathered enough, she headed over to where Lucky rested. She tried to scratch him between the ears before offering some more bugfrags to munch on. "Hey there, whose a good boy? Eat up and grow strong for your master." DragonierMan looked over to Sparks as they divided the green mystery spoils between them. "Looks like another mimic," Drago observed. "Good thing we invested in these Untraps. Could you imagine what it would be like having to fight these things every time you wanted to just get your hard earned rewards? It would be pretty annoying right?"

Lucky's tail wagged fast, then faster as Suzume gave him more frags and patted his head. He set back up, and gave a long lick to her cheek. "Thanks."

"I've been fortunate to never have faced a mimic myself." Sparks stretched, "But we should probably invest in some Untraps ourself, just so we can continue that good fortune." He also went to give Lucky a few pets, scratching the pup on his snout, "You did good boy. Let's continue to show them what were made of. We are getting stronger together." He stood up and took the lead this time, heading down further in Hades, getting away from their current field of battle.

((Requesting battle 3))
"Yes, let's move on," DragonierMan said as Suzume wiped her cheek and gave Lucky more head pats. Eventually she was able to tear herself away from the large dog as the group continued onward.

((+2FXP))

As the group moved on, the desert sands around them gradually grew hotter and more uneven, until chunks of rocky black coal started to crop up. Before long they reached the point where the sands faded away completely into a field of baking coals that almost glowed with the heat. Ahead, two pools of lava were intersected by a long strip of super-heated metal panelling, casting up a heat mirage, while further in the distance, the land seemed as though it began to climb towards distant mountains.

Closer to the point, however, the change in terrain also brought with it more viral presence, and thus more target practice for the exploring band. Most visible were two very large viruses, far bigger than most. One looked vaguely like a monster truck with wheels made to look like rolled up armadils. It seemed to be piloted by a lost-looking metool that looked like it was sweating badly under its helmet. A little closer, on their right and just in front of one of the broad pools of magma, a far more dangerous-looking creation of many legs and vicious rage looked as though it had been harassing the other viruses on the field, but now turned its infuriated sights on the group that approached instead.

In the centre of each lava pool, a broad-winged fire bird hovered, keeping themselves airborne with slow, heavy beats of their burning wings, while further to the sides of each pool, smaller eruptions revealed themselves to be volcano viruses, drinking in the heat. Another pot, likely hiding another dragon, was nestled into the coals in front of the left hand lava pool, which would probably please Drago, but there was no immediate sign of the bounty that Sparks was hunting... unless it was obscured from their sight by one of the larger viruses. Just as they approached this collection, a rumble in the sand to their left announced the late arrival of an additional foe, in the form of a heavy-set Cragger pulling itself from the sand and raising its rocky fists.

-=Viruses=-
Mettank V1Mettank V1 (Mettank)

A Mettank is a combination of the Metool, Catack, and Armadillo viruses. It looks a lot like a regular Catack, with several notable differences. The main body of the tank is slightly smaller, and the tank's driver is very clearly an actual Metool, though it doesn't bear its signature weapon. The vehicle itself is colored to match the Metool-driver's Helmet; thus the most basic version is gold with green trim, while more powerful versions will be colored differently to follow suit. The tank itself retains the same basic design as a Catack, except that its triangular treads have been replaced with four almost comically over-sized monster-truck style armored wheels, and its main gun now sports two long, narrow tines jutting out vertically up and down from a point close to the muzzle. These make it look rather like a giant version of a Metool's pickaxe, and the cannon is also now housed in a vertical pivot that allows it to adjust up and down, or even swing with enough force to strike the lower tine to the ground.

Most of the time, the Mettank moves very slowly, and it has been seen to activate a defensive mode wherein the Metool-driver's helmet expands to a jumbo size large enough to cover the entire tank in its protective dome. This does, of course, render the virus utterly blind, and when specifically guarding like this it can no longer attack or move.

It has also been seen, occasionally, to display sudden feats of unexpected speed, where it will rev up, then suddenly ram a target. At these times, its helmet defense covers the tank, though it recedes again as soon as the attack run loses momentum.

The Mettank does not return to its original position at the end of the attack run, but remains where it stopped.

Special: MetGuard: The Metool's Helmet expands rapidly to cover the entire tank in a protective dome. Assumes MetalBody and can hold this guard for any number of actions. Activating the guard takes an action, but deactivating it to attack does not. Mettank cannot move or attack while MetGuard is active, however its tertiary attack ignores this. Attacks from below bypass MetGuard for normal damage.
Special: Slow to move, but can move and dodge while attacking.
Note: MetalBody is identical to IronBody, but does not hamper movement. Non-Break attacks deal 0 damage, and Break attacks deal double.

Possible Rewards (Per Virus): TankCannon1, Guard1, ShockWave, IronShell1, LilBomb, WhiteCapsule
: 240Hp [Furnace][Meta-Virus]
Scutz-Scutz- (Scutz-)

Scutz- is an angry looking insectoid creature. Unlike the virus it was designed to be like, it is orange instead of red. This metavirus were made in an attempt to recapture the devastating power of the LifeVirus's creations, byte for byte, to the inclusion/exclusion of various aspects of their virus components, such as removing all flight capability, and cranking up their innate aggressiveness. That they were regarded as failures is more an indication of the real things' incredible might than the metaviruses' weakness. They're still extremely vicious, and very much prefer attacking to dodging.

CraggerCragger (Cragger)

Craggers are pretty easy targets, given their size. They also move very rarely, and when they do they move slowly. Their dodge rate is abysmal. They generally rely on their HardBody defense, which reduces non-break damage by half, but doubles break damage. They have high attack power and AoE, but their accuracy is generally bad as their attacks are easy to follow and take time to deliver. Their attack is executed as a Drop Attack, and thus attacks from above, and not head-on. Targets caught underground within this attack's AoE range take an additional 50 Null damage that ignores all defenses.

Area: Netopia, Sharo, Hades Isle

HP: 120
Attack Damage/Effect: 30 Null + Break + Panel Break + WideAttack
Attack Accuracy: D
Attack Description: Slams the enemy and surrounding area with fist. This is executed as a Drop Attack, and is more damaging to targets below ground (IE: Submerged or burrowed).

MetridMetrid (Metrid)

Has one free Movement per turn. It prefers to attack from behind cover, but if there isn't any available it will still attack without hesitation. Rarely attacks more than every other action, but will completely forego this restriction if it is the only virus remaining. It will only use its secondary attack if it has less than 50% of its max HP, or if it has no cover available.

Area: Hades Isle

HP: 200
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: 30 Fire + Ground Attack + Medium Area Lava Terrain Change + Terrain Changer

-=Battle 3, Start!=-

DragonierMan was indeed pleased to see another target of his hunt. However, he was dealing with a ton of extra enemies as well. Time to thin the herd. "Ladies," he began as the various passive signatures activated, prepping them for battle. "Let us show them the power of dragons."

Four large pots rose out of the ground in front of each of the dragoniers. Drago nodded before placing his right foot on the pot lid. Magistrate, Suzume, and Aya put one foot on each of their pots. He raised three fingers, and counted down on them. As he counted down, Suzume and Aya painted the targets in front of them with multi-colored light, before the count reached its conclusion. As one, the four tipped their pots forward to spill the contents towards the mass of viruses. Four roaring, screaming dragons leapt from the pots and charged across the battlefield. A watery blue dragon, a fiery red dragon, a grassy green dragon, and a crackling yellow dragon left a path of destruction in their wake as they all charged down the Furnace strip, through the Coal, and into the Lava pools. Salty water puddles, boiling Lava, patches of Grass, and magnetized panels were among the many terrain changes that would be strewn haphazardly all over the place after the rampage ended. It was just a mess.

Then as one, they opened their wings, and ascended to the sky. As the women dodged and weaved around each other in a coordinated ballet, Drago sent a meteoric fist smashing down upon the Cragger from above. The Cragger was probably unphased by the earlier onslaught, protected by its rock hard body. So Drago, dripping in irony, sent the Cragger's stronger bretheren's own attack to crush it. The huge rocky fist fell upon the Cragger, potentially crushing not only it, but any nearby viruses.

Finally reaching the sky above, the three women continued their aerial ballet among the ashen clouds. Drago, however, having pushed his processes over the hill once more, was in a good spot to rain down destruction from above. And he did that with a pair of explosive tankcannon shells. The crack and boom of each shot echoed as he sent one explosive shell after another into what remained of the Lava pools below. Each shelling of the enemy created little mushroom clouds as the energy pulsed out from each explosion.

He evaded into a position that gave him a good view of the battlefield, before he put his hands up, and released a flood of light energy. The wave swept across the sky and the ground as he blinded everything within sight.

"Starting off with the dragons huh?" Sparks then I a step back, remembering the destruction they caused in one of the duo's previous battles. It was hard for the samurai to compete with such a display of power as this one but it would be no means keep him from trying to bring down as many enemies as he could. "Master. That big guy looks like he has a strong defense, let's test that new chip with got last battle." He pointed at the Cragger.

"I'm on it" Joseph went ahead and searched his folder for a few chips, slotted each in so Sparks could use them at his own discrearion. Lucky howled in excitement as the many elemental dragons burst on the scene stirring up as much destruction and changing the terrain as much as they could. Sparks sent out a decoy, towards the center of the field while he and Lucky both jumped backwards to avoid early attacks that may have targeted them. The fake samurai sprinted among the dragons before they vanished, sure to live out its mission and draw the attention of atleast one enemy.

After their preemptive dodge, Sparks hopped on top of the large pup's back, while their Dragonier friends took to the sky. "That was an impressive show, let's see if I can do the same." With that said a large theee barrel cannon materialized above his left shoulder, he grabbed it as if it was a rocket launcher. "KaaaaThlunk!" Was the sound it made as a fire powered missle closed the small distance between them and the large Cragger beside them. A hard target to miss, and if the middle hit it would land a blow of deletion dealing massive damage to the virus's shell. "KaaaaThlunk!" Sounded off again, as a second missle flew towards the Scutz, and again when the third missle targeted the powerful tank virus further off.

Sparks ducked to dodge again, in case an enemy chose him as a target for their angry retaliation. He was sure that they wouldn't be too happy at the teams intrustion nor the devastation upon their homeland. He unsheathed the handle at his side... no blade appeared. But lava began pouring from the hilt, onto the surface below. The magical fire liquid began to encircle Lucky at ground level, before releasing a large fiery tide on every direction. As the wave moved outwards it attempted to use any of the remaining lava panels to power itself up and cause the most damage possible.

Lucky then shot a metal fire ball towards the ground in front of the Mettank, or the area it had been, had it been deleted. The metal burst across the field causing yet another terrain change to take place. Once the change had finished, a burst of electricity burst from the bladeless hitl, and the energy mimicked the motion of the wave before. Then boom, an electrictfied Gaia wave, that the team had relied on so much, scrambled across the multi element earth below, looking to finish off, or severely injure anything that it could reach.

Eager to make another strong display of force, Drago and his allies prepared another round of dragon-based destruction for the viruses arrayed before them, each preparing a payload. Before any of them could release their dragons, however, the ever-furious Scutz virus screeched and roared in their direction, then sent a roaring ball of flame to engulf the entire group of explorers in rocking explosion. The Meta-virus would be frustrated, however, as every one of its would-be targets managed to dive clear or duck away from the force of the explosion and escape unharmed in some fashion. It only had a moment to howl its ire before the dragons were loosed.

The first two to escape theri pots went straight for the violent meta-virus, crashing through it one after the other and drawing shrieks and hisses of pain as they passed, before curving around to find more targets. the first made for the next largest target in sight, ploughing through the Mettank and taking a hearty bite of its mechanics. It barely missed the much smaller Metrid cowering behind, before attempting to turn back across the lava pool for more. Unfortunately it ran out energy before it could reach the place where the blazing phoenix was flapping and looking about wildly at the suddenly violent field.

The dragon that followed couldn't make good on any further connections after it battered through the Scutz virus; its attack didn't seem to hurt the creature nearly as much as it should have, and the rest of its movements were more sluggish than normal. At the sudden roars of elemental dragons everywhere, the lone Magmadragon on the opposite side of the battle looked about, then promptly darted down into its own pot to hide, but it couldn't stay there forever. Aya and Suzume's dragons tackled the other side of the field, and both ignored the cowardly dragon that was hiding, in favour of ravaging other targets on the left hand side. The earth elemental one dashed straight up the middle, unimpeded as it crashed through the Mettank and destroyed it, then devoured the hiding metrid on the other side. Still with some energy left, it arced across the lava pool on its left and raked the Phoenix in the middle, before fading away. The fire bird shrieked with a piercing cry before collapsing in a gout of flames and falling as ash to the freshly converted terrain below.

Meanwhile, the electric dragon dashed across the sand to take a pass at the hard-bodied Cragger, before turning forward and lunging for the volcano virus on the outside of the pool. The latter was destroyed, though the Cragger remained sturdy for now. The group of Dragoniers took wing once this opening attack was made, while Sparks mounted up; prioritising defence at first, Sparks and Lucky found themselves without needing to do much dodging after all, in light of how little space to attack back Dragona his allies were offering their viral enemies. From above, Drago sent a crashing fist down to pulverise the Cragger more thoroughly.

In amongst the confusion, The second phoenix locked sight on the nearest figure it could and beat its wings once, forcefully, sending a blazing image of itself shooting forward to strike the on-rushing samurai; the attack connected, and had it not been an illusory clone, the viruses might actually have achieved something.

Further infuriated by the way its new targets had first hurt it, and now seemingly run away, the enraged Scutz reared and stamped, its many legs hammering on the ground before it leaned back and caught ablaze. with another screech, its body convulsed and the flaming avatar of itself blasted up into the air, chasing after Drago as he wheeled above. The Dragonier dodged deftly to one side, but as it passed, the burning image of the large meta-virus twisted, more animate than expected, and latched all of its many legs around his body, before exploding with a burning impact. The blast shredded through his outer protectives, but stopped shy of doing him any direct damage. Not to be distracted, Drago continued his assault, this time raining an explosion down on the other side of the field, to blast the remaining phoenix and volcano into ash. The Scutz raged again, crying out as it was ignored.

Down on the ground, Sparks witnessed this, and with few targets left to shoot, aimed his powerful magnum at the distracted Meta-virus. Three shots rang out, punching into its body, and amidst broken, wrathful shrieks and roars, the hostile creation collapsed to the ground and went still.

Next her prepared his more favoured wide-ranging attacks, but as the dust and debris cleared from the field, they had only one target to strike, and the hiding MagmaDragon's pot rocked, but was left unaffected by the successive ground waves. Flying above, Drago had one more shot, and he was able to direct it downwards with precision, slamming the shell directly into the upturned mouth of the pot-dragon's hide away. There was a dull thump as the explosion went ff inside, and a coil of black smoke accompanied by a startled, pained roar, but it seemed that the dragon was very much still alive. Panting and blackened, it poked up out of the pot, trying to shake itself off.

On opposite sides of the field, two brilliant flares of fire roared to life again as each of the two destroyed phoenix burst back into life, their flames bright and fierce amidst piercing bird cries. The two flapped and then began to fly upwards slightly, turning away as though they intended to quit the battle field while they had the chance.

Area: All

HP: 260
Element: Null

Primary Attack Damage/Effect: 20 Null + Stun 1 + Blast 2
Primary Attack Accuracy: B
Primary Attack Description: The Mettank blasts a target with an explosive shell from its main gun, which stuns targets.

Secondary Attack Damage/Effect: 20 Null + Piercing + Ground Attack + Wide Attack
Secondary Attack Accuracy: B
Secondary Attack Description: Slams the pick-tine of its main gun to the ground, causing a large shockwave.

Tertiary Attack Damage/Effect: 20 Null + Group Attack + Breaking + Impact + Movement
Tertiary Attack Accuracy: B
Tertiary Attack Description: The Mettank revs up and rushes one target with sudden speed. It activates its MetGuard when it begins to rush, and deactivates it again as soon as the attack run ends.

Area: Hades Isle

HP: 200
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: 30 Fire + Ground Attack + Medium Area Lava Terrain Change + Terrain Changer
Primary Attack Accuracy: C
Primary Attack Description: Charges from its pot at high speed to attack ground-based enemies whilst leaving a trail of Lava in its wake.
