Visions of Monsters
You seeing what I'm seeing, Joseph? Asymptote asked, the netop responding with a sigh and a nod. Quite the number of them, but they don't seem -as- spread out as last time. Let me send you a couple chips to help with that. Joseph would say in turn, digging through his pack as Vigil got started on fighting, swearing he could see her...wink at him? Well, all things considered...he wasn't about to simply ignore that.
I'll treat ya to some good stuff if we make it outta this run alive, Vigil. Trust me, I think after all is said and done, you've earned a nice lunch or something. Asymptote responded, his mechanical "lips" turning to a goofy and uncanny valley-esque grin. With it, a simple electrical pulse began to send data to Vigil just before throwing her weapon of choice, a tiny prick in the back of her mind, but it quickly dulled as another dose of healing electricity sparked through her body.
Asymptote, meanwhile began to move forwards. His bulky frame looking to help hinder the attacks of the viruses before they could try to attack him and her, Asymptote let out a bellowing roar, his body sparking as his generator began to grow even hotter than he had ever tried to push it before. His generator glowing bright red as he got into a menacing position, arms outstretched and fingers stretched out, lower jaw hanging open as a crackle of thunder rolled across the area. Electrical spikes of energy quickly crashing down upon Asymptote, his form taking on a shiny metal exterior as his body hardened on an almost skin deep level. Encased in a shiny metal alloy, Asymptote's eyes began to move about. Hahah! And they say you can't galvanize yourself with metal! His voice sounded out of the metal statue that was Asymptote's body. WELCOME TO THE PERFECT DEFENSE A NAVI CAN MAKE! Asymptote shouted out to the viruses despite everything. But...can you move? Joseph quickly asked. THAT WOULD RUIN THE PERFECTION! Asymptote shouted back, he knew full well he couldn't move, but...by god he was going to use it as he saw fit.
Rolling his eyes, Joseph quickly sent three chips to the navi, despite the...idiocy his navi was seeming to exhibit...but it was still better than talking like a lobotomized monster. Though he didn't notice the Fire+20 he had sent. When he tried to slot in another chip, it was quickly rejected. Facepalming, he seemed he was more like his navi than he seemed to want to admit to. Rolling with the punches despite everything, Asymptote's mouth began to create a small heated ball of flames within it's cavity. The Fire+20 being set to use, he let it go, the ball of flame beginning to move towards the Drixol all the same, attempting to reduce it's damage capability to an absolute nothing so the two of them could ignore it for the time being.
Tapping into the two other chips, the ThunderBeam1 from their last fight was the first to exit into his body. His galvanized hands turning into a pair of lightning prongs identical to the Billies that were in the group ahead of them. Electricity jumping between the two prongs rapidly as Asymptote made sure to stand perfectly still (against his will), the prongs began to crackle and leap with more electrical energy before finally...exploding from the two prongs. Three bolts of lightning quick to arc off of the prongs, each honing in on a different target as they zig-zagged across the air towards the targets, attempting to dunk onto the Lark, Momogora and NeoMetool from above like lightning from the heavens.
Afterwards, his hands returned to their original position, the sparking prongs falling to the ground with a metallic clatter. Unable to move still, Asymptote had to re-purpose the usual movements associated with his next attack. Materializing onto his shoulder was a small cannon, wrapped around the left of him, the navi began to remotely turn the cannon slowly and began to take aim at the Scarecrow that was sitting on the fringe of the field, he couldn't let it keep living despite everything. The cannon locking onto it's intended target, Asymptote began to divert some of his own power to the ball to be fired out, and with it, fired the cannon with a resounding blast. The minibomb being launched into the air would slowly spin around vertically, explosives heavily compacted into the shot, it fell from the air and hopefully would land on or right near it's target, blasting it and anything else that existed into junk data.

The Eleball, Metool and MagTect were next, with the Eleball swooping up suddenly in between them, before twin thunder balls revolved around it--Asymptote was fine, but Vigil was less fortunate, as its attack tore through her defensive veil and dealt a fair bit of damage to her. (-5, -10) Fortunately, the other two viruses' attacks were less than accurate, with a flying pickaxe and a pair of magnet missiles flying by harmlessly as testament. Vigil herself was a little busy with setting up the explosive little eye that she had formed. Asymptote, meanwhile, belched out a ball of corrupting fire towards the Drixol, hitting true and reducing its damage effectiveness to effectively nil. The two of them then launched their first pair of attacks against their enemies, with Vigil contributing a LilBomb, and Asymptote tossing in a ThunderBeam to match. The former's attack hit a Billy and Scarecrow that were still preparing to attack, while Asymptote's attack hit true on all counts perfectly, to match his perfect defense.
Asymptote then tossed out a MiniBomb towards the Scarecrow to finish it off, again hitting surprisingly well with how stiff his body was. The Drixol flew out to begin its attack, and sure enough, it found that its drill head had turned into essentially the consistency of silly putty, its attacks simply bouncing off of anything it tried to hit, including the GMD behind the two. The final attack came from the Catack, which was laughably inaccurate in its firing by comparison, its fired shell flying past Asymptote's shoulder ineffectively.

MagTectMagTect (MagTect)
MagTect move and dodge at slightly above average speed. In spite of the fact that they have wings, and hover above the ground, they are still subject to the effects of the terrain below. Regardless, they are very dangerous thanks to their ability to exert control over enemy movements with pincer attacks and magnetic pull effects. They know how to use these effects, too. MagTects avoid liquid terrain types if at all possible, as they do not function well at all if forcibly submerged.

MomograMomogra (Momogra)
Momogras move by tunneling through the ground. They poke their heads up just far enough from time to time to see where the enemy is, but they are still protected from most forms of attack. Drop attacks, Bomb attacks (which fall out of the air after being thrown), and Ground attacks damage them in this state. Other attacks executed from a high angle/altitude also work. All movements performed by a Momogra are considered a dodge, as they occur underground, and out of sight. Momogras only attack in response to having an attack launched in their direction, and only if they have an action remaining for that turn. Momogras attack by instantly tunneling to the panel behind the enemy, popping out of the ground, and striking with a shovel. A Momogra is completely vulnerable to any form of attack during its own atack, and until it moves again following that attack. The movement prior to the attack does not require an action, but movement afterwards does. The attack cannot execute if the panel behind the target is a liquid terrain type, Metal, Broken, or Missing. The attack also will not execute if there is something currently occupying the panel they would be attacking from. If the attack cannot execute, the Momogra will not move. In the case of Glass and Cracked terrain, the Momogras will still attempt to attack, but suffer the consequences of doing do as those panels will break and damage the Momogra, also causing the attack to fail. Momogra get 1 free movement per turn at the start of the turn before their first action.

Right now, the Armadill was lining up to come at them with a powerful attack...and she didn't really want to have anything to do with that. The woman made sure that when the creature would start to charge forward, she'd move out of the way, not wanting to get hit by that, as she readied herself to come back onto the assault with the others. The woman frowned, then, the eye on her right starting to look over on the side, trying to get a feel for the battlefield.
Extending her hand, another eye began to appear from her palm, before dropping on the ground and then rolling over toward the left side of the field, beginning to add to her vision for the overall field. "I'm starting to...see..." she spoke, the woman mused quietly as she felt the battlefield start to come into focus now that she had two points of contact rather than one.
Wherever the Armadill had gone afterward, Vigil was ready for him, having watched the zooming-past virus as she extended her hand, letting the chip data come down into her. "Thank you, Alexander~" she cooed, before the eyes on either side of the battlefield widened as she focused her aim on that virus before she let out a sudden burst of raw energy from her fingertips in the form of a Cannon chip.
As soon as the attack hit, she felt her body start to warm up slightly as the powers of the Metool began to fill her, and she moved, beginning to shuffle a little bit before she moved at a rather incredible rate, slamming her palm into the ground, causing a burst of energy to hit that Armadill, and also ripping through any other virus before her and the others.
She grinned then, her eyes around her widening. "This is SO EXCITING," she proclaims, not seeming to pay attention to her damage at all. The thrill of the fight was geting to her.

Doing okay there 'Symp? His operator asked, Asymptote wordlessly shaking his head from side to side. My lower extremities...they feel...extremely heavy all of a sudden. Looks like Galvanizing yourself with metal comes with a few drawbacks, I'm extremely slowed down as far as my legs are concerned. I won't be doing a lot of dodging until the effect wears off. Asymptote replied, smacking his legs like they were asleep, the pins and needles practically sticking to his legs, an errant twitch here and there, but nothing like in Netopia's networks. He wasn't about to let himself be staved off though. Vigil cheering him on for his defense helped matters, but that was besides the point. He had two viruses lined up to attack him, one next to him, the other ready to crash through his body...good thing his armor was done for now. Send both the ColdPunch and both MaruBlasters...I'm gonna hurt, but fucking god, I'm gonna tear through some assholes while I'm doing it. Asymptote stated. Joseph simply chuckled as he shrugged, grabbing the requested chips and immediately sending them to his navi. Asymptote meanwhile sent sparks of energy into the back of Vigil's head, sending a packet of healing data and, on top of that, his own aim-bot tools to help her strike the virus dead set on attacking them.
Inhaling deeply as the navi called forth the data inside him, he held out his left hand to his side, closing his eyes for a simple moment. As he did, a blue gauntlet swiftly closed in on his hand from either side, slamming against his hand and sending a chill down his spine. A cool aqua blue color spreading outwards onto his wrist, nails driving themselves deep into it just the same with a slight red dripping down the gauntlet's color palate. Turning himself slowly to the floating Eleball, feet crashing against the tiles as he did so. Grunting as he brought his hand back, the navi would quickly try to uppercut the virus in the face, a cold air condensing across the air as he pumped his arm towards the smiling annoyance.
With a zap across his body, he brought his right outwards, pointing towards one of the viruses ahead of him...the flying pincer and magnet toting monster known as a MagTect. A pair of pylons began to slowly emerge out of the knuckles of his fist, one on the knuckle attached to the pointer, another attached to the knuckle that kept his extraneous pinkie finger, both bloody and with a bit of dangling flesh and muscle data off both of them, a light drip of blood splattering onto the ground. A pair of electrical conduits began to hum to life as he pointed them at the annoyance that could and would likely give him and Vigil a few nasty pinches, slowing the two of them down even further. Taking aim, Asymptote let loose a bolt of electricity at the MagTect virus, his own data strengthening it's power even further than normal as it attempted to rip through the bug. The pylons hummed quietly afterwords, as if their effect had been spent.
Asymptote turned back to the Eleball, likely not -quite- dead just yet, Asymptote was quick to follow up on his uppercut on the Eleball. With a goofy looking, uncannily looking grin, Asymptote simply said Buzz off. Before thrusting his arm forwards again in an attempt to deliver another hefty blow towards the floating ball of electricity, aiming straight for it's damned ugly mug this time. And with that punch, his taser and pylons began to hum even louder than before. Taking his chance to capitalize on the added effectiveness to his MaruBlaster, Asymptote would turn towards the surviving billy of all things, taking a brief aim at the weaponized ball, Asymptote let off another blast of electricity, sending the taser shot towards his prey and hoping it connected before the pylons that grew out of his fist clattered to the ground.

Due to his inability to move, the nearby Catack was thus able to get a lock on Asymptote, and launched another shell at him, erupting in a brilliant explosion that racked both his and Vigil's bodies with burning pain. (-20) (-20) From behind, the Drixol approached once more with its head, ineffectually sliding off of his skin with its blunt drill bit. Asymptote pressed the attack on the Eleball in the meantime, finally managing to delete it with the second punch. Vigil followed up her earlier attempt at wounding the Armadill, but the shockwave from her palm was equally as ineffective, only managing to chase down the virus to the road behind them, while it unrolled itself from its rolling tackle attack next to the Mystery Data crystal.
The last Navi-side attack came from Asymptote, where he launched another MaruBlaster towards the Billy--though unfortunately, it was slightly too weak to finish it off completely. He received a small Thunderball in reply, though the Billy seemed a bit shaken afterwards. A small pickaxe came flying at his face as well, and bounced off of his forehead painfully. (-10)

She glanced at the metallic monster in front of her that was Asymptote, before she looked back toward the others. The Catack had fired its attack at her, and while the Drixol near it was also weakened...she could feel a sudden excitement in the prospect of reducing them to bits and pieces. "I'm going after those two," she murmured to Asymptote, this time actually voicing her thoughts to him rather than simply acting before her ally knew what she was doing. "If you've any ability to after the fact, I would appreciate some backup on the big one," she spoke, referring to the Catack. "Also, once we bring these all down, I'll make certain to make you feel very good," she said with a small laugh as a few strands of healing data danced of her fingers, giving him the true intention of her words.
Letting the eye sigil beneath her begin to shut, another opened nearby, near the side of the Catack. She had some raw firepower on her side, but she didn't believe that she had enough to decimate the powerful tank. However, being that close to it was a little intimidating. Still, she was in fairly good shape, at least at the moment. She'd need to make sure that whatever she did, it would hurt the virus enough that Asymptote could either help finish it of...or if not, to allow him a moment to recover after the fact.
The easiest way to proceed would to leave something alive for a moment, such as the Metool or the Armadil, and then take a short breather, but Vigil wasn't entirely certain that she could hold back her excitement as an eye began to form betwixt her palms. The iris was a brilliant scarlet and as she let it form, her body becoming surrounded by inky blackness as the material from the pupil she stood on reached up, grasping her before she merged with it, before suddenly her form rose up from the newly-formed eye sigil on the ground near the Catack.
"Burn it." Alexander's words came through, and Vigil's mouth twisted into a wicked grin as she pushed her left hand forward, the red-eyed sphere beginning to turn red everywhere before a burst of heat blasted outward in a flamethrower directly at the Catack and the Drixol both. As she did so, her right hand pointed downward as a sphere appeared there as well, with a figure 8 for a pupil. She raised it as well, letting loose almost a sound of enjoyment as the eye beneath her widened, the pupil shrinking in excitement.
"Execute," she purred, her overly-long tongue lashing about as the Shotgun was too released pointblank into the hide of the Catack, the secondary shot aimed at the Drixol behind.

With a grunt as she spoke, Asymptote nodded. I'll happily help out on that front. He spoke simply, hefting the blue gauntlet up, ice forming on the underside as it dripped down into icicles. Hmmm, I'll be taking requests if anything pops into mind. Just keep your focus on the viruses for a bit longer my dear. He grinned as he soon noticed the non-existent hairs on his back begin to spring up, he could feel the electricity in the air, the hissing and crackling ball of electricity honing in on his signature. Though before he could move, his own electrical signature quickly sent it's self off from his generator, a spark trailing back up Vigil's body to continue passively healing her.
He would make sure to move in turn, his feet quickly trying to sidestep the ball of concentrated electrical energy as he stomped forward, mouth open as he looked to help his friend out in her endeavors of deleting the tank-like virus. His arm rising up, the monsterous navi jumped into the air as he rushed it from the front, an invisible sense of menace coming from the navi to shock it's system and reduce it's power, as well as being careful of the cross-fire between him and Vigil, as he tried to slam his ice-covered fist upon the top of the creature, his fist impacting on the ground and sending a loud glass-like shatter across the field, ice breaking from the super-cooled fist and sending shards of ice flying.
Quick to get back up to his full height, he turned towards the Armadill that had attacked earlier, brushing off Vigil's attacks like they were nothing earlier when it attacked. Since it wasn't even remotely ready to attack, Asymptote wordlessly glared at the varmint that had the audacity to attack him and her. Stomping forwards, his fist causing a slight trail of condensation to fall onto the ground, he slowly walked towards the virus as his stomps echoed around him. His face quick to turn to a malevolent grin as he suddenly had a burst of energy, bringing up the super-cooled weapon, he launched himself like a monster should, sending his body into the air just like a moment ago, slamming down onto the ground a moment later in front of the skittering annoyance before attempting to slam his fist into it's body, not once, but twice. Air around his fist cooling everything down to just above zero as he attempted to shatter the Armadill's existence into little more than icy junk data.

The Catack wheeled around angling for a shot, but even as it tried to do so, it witnessed both navis turn to it in eerie unison, monstrous and grinning, and it felt the debilitating haze fall over it, and suddenly began to rethink its decisions in life. It reversed gears on its treads and started to back-tread from the pair even as they darted towards it. Asymptote slammed a fist towards the tank, but its movements carried it just away from his range. He had, however, managed to avoid the homing ball of electricity. The tank lobbed a shell as it fled backwards, but it exploded behind the pair somewhere, and didn't seem to have the punch to hurt them, even if it had struck cleanly.
Vigil struck next, both of her attacks making a clean line across the retreating Catack and the frustrated Drixol. The metool was in the way of the line of fire as well, but with a startled squeak it ducked beneath its helmet and the fire passed it by. The other two weren't so lucky. The catack survived the double assault, while the Drixol was, if nothing else, put out of its misery.
Adding to the confusion, Asymptote turned in place after his first punch and zipped back again with alarming speed to slam his icy fist into the Armadil instead. Caught by surprise, the two swift punches were enough to end its threat. Vigil's eyes watched the events unfold with a creepy fascination.

Vigil! Do as you will to the Metool over there, I'll get what's over here, try to use your rageclaw to flip the metool over so you can get at it's underbelly! He shouted towards his partner, holding his arms out as a crackling energy began to overtake the gauntlet that had been wrapped around one of his hands. Closing his eyes and inhaling deeply, Asymptote touched the newly electrified gauntlet to his chest and let the energy flood his body, both cold and heat flooding across his form as a trail of mist began to come out of his mouth. His wounds slowly receding as the energy flickered and trickled across his monstrous body, letting out a noise not normally from him as he shook his head, metal tongue clanking about his mouth as he finished. All the while another trail of energy healed up Vigil, while not fully, but mostly all things considered.
And with his healing done, Asymptote's focus turned back to the Billy near him. And with it, he began to menace the small creature, hunching over to make himself more imposing as the energy began to focus into the Billy's body. With the stage set, he grinned creepily. Wanna see a magic trick? He asked in a low and menacing voice, not waiting for an answer from the creature as he held out the gauntlet that covered his hand in a bloodied aqua blue coloring. The navi's hand making no sudden movements as he did so, a very brief moment later it lurched forwards, the gauntlet beginning to twist and warp in tandem with the Navi's flesh and bone underneath, the bloodied gauntlet beginning to fall off in pieces with a clatter onto the ground, leaving his hand now completely bare (barring the bolts still wedged in his wrist). And suddenly, above each knuckle a bulge could be seen. A faint white, bone-like substance coming to the top, just under the skin...and then his hand lurched forwards again, three spiked claws of bone shot out of each hand, gore and blood splattering forward towards the Billy as Asymptote lunged forward towards it with inhuman speed. IT'S A TRICK I LIKE TO CALL GET FUCKED, EYAHAHAHAHAHA! He shouted and cackled in tandem with his lunge forwards towards the Billy, aiming his claws right for it's face in an attempt to impale it deeply upon the crazed murderer's claws. AND NOW FOR MY NEXT TRICK, THE BILLY FASTBALL: ASYMPTOTE STYLE! He cackled again like the crazed murderer he had become, his mind's eye beginning to take aim at the tank as he turned swiftly, his upper body swinging widely as he attempted to (hopefully) throw the impaled Billy at the Catack, hopefully having taken good enough aim and thrown it with enough force to crash the two together in a grisly mess of broken and battered body parts.

She glanced over at the man as he suddenly began to advance on the Billy, and she smirked at his words. "Alexander- you heard the man."
"RageClaw incoming."
The woman glanced down at her hands then, the woman's already long, delicate fingers beginning to expand and grow, far past what would be considered attractive as they formed into grotesque claws, and the eye-like sigil beneath her widened in excitement. She grinned, her fangs showing and her too-long tongue dancing over them for a moment. "It is time," she spoke, beginning to form herself closer to the Metool. Another sigil began to appear on the ground near it, and as it spiraled upward, Vigil's form began to melt into the ground.
From the sigil near the metool, she rose upward, spiraling as she did so, her left claw aiming to dig under the Metool's helmet as she rose, attempting to lift and flip over the creature as she did so, exposing the underbelly. "Routine, set. Execute..." she said with a cute little fanged smile, the claws on her right hand splaying outward as the Rageclaw funneled through her arm.
She suddenly lashed out with a powerful strike, aiming to simply tear the Metool out from within its had, culling it like an Oyster.

As he was engaged in this piece of intimidation, Vigil was herself putting her own claws to use, playfully flipping the poor Metool over with her usual candour. It squeaked, kicking feet in the air and struggling to right itself quickly, making as though to run away, but it was more than exposed enough for Vigil to put her laws to it with her next swipe.
Across the way, the catack turned its treads and began trundling away at top speed as well. It launched a projectile back towards the pair, but it went wide and just cracked a little more of the plaza space. Before it could get away, however, a rather traumatised Billy virus went flying after it with a viral squeal of terror. The two impacted with a loud crash, followed by a few crackles, then silence. Back at the top of the steps, the genuine data crystal had survived the skirmish intact, and glittered between its two false duplicates.

Open GMD?
Asymptote let out a sigh of contentment as he began to disengage from his battle routines, the hulking navi discarding the bone-white nails, each clattering to the ground with a loud tink. Oooooogh. I'll never get used this. The navi muttered under his breath, crushing the three bone white nails underfoot with a loud crunch, walking over towards Vigil. Doing okay there, Vigil? Seem to be enjoying yourself there.
"Ridding the Net of these cretins brings me a certain...joy," she continued, before her gaze moved up to the Mystery Data. "You've been doing most of the heavy lifting here, with those big strong arms of yours," she spoke, giving her knight guardian a smile. "If you wish to claim the data, by all means," she spoke, making a wide, sweeping gesture toward it.
Just so you know, Mystery Data has a tendency to be trapped. Summons a thing called a mimic, that also summons another round of viruses if you open it. Thankfully, there is a way to go about it to keep a mimic from spawning. He began, the navi holding his hand out as a subchip materialized in the palm of it as Joseph slotted it in. Untraps. These, as they are to their name, untrap a mystery data and delete the mimic inside. Always go around with one or two of these at a time. If you don't you will have to fight a mimic as well as other viruses. Thankfully Mimics don't delete the reward data inside them. You just have to fight and delete the mimic data to get it, the Mystery Data also becomes invulnerable if you delete the mimic data before the other viruses. Now, I'm gonna use my Untrap here and cleanse any potential viral data from the MD. Asymptote explained, immediately shoving the data from the untrap into the Mystery Data, lines immediately spreading outwards to perform it's intended task, deleting any traces of mimicry from the data. Are you sure you're not teaching her this so she doesn't make the same mistakes you've made? I mean...two mimics in a row...that's kinda bad luck there, Asymptote. Joseph popped up to tease. Gggghhhk! F-Fuck you Joseph!
(Opening GMD with Untrap)
"Mystery Data can hold a great deal of information. Both good or bad," Alexander spoke, and she also heard Travis yelling from behind him about something else too, but she simply tuned the two humans out as she began to listen to what Asymptote had to say on the matter.
"I see...a mimic," the woman mused, watching the man as he lifted a hand, holding onto a subchip that she presumed that Joseph had slotted in for him. She merely watched, nodding as appropriate to the lecture that she was getting from the man. As he finished, however, she gave a small laugh at the interaction between NetNavi and NetOP. "My my, what horrible luck, Asymptote. I hope this one brings much better to you," she spoke, giving him a small pat on the arm.
Still, all the same, as he began to access it, the woman took a step backward, just to be safe.

She paused then, turning to the inky liquid before darting across the battlefield, toward the rows of shops. There were no vendors, at least not at the moment, but that didn't stop her from admiring the outfits as the two eyes rolled up near her, merging with her body and opening up again on her arms and shoulders, giving her vision of the clothing therein.
"Perhaps I should see about getting a GMO..." she mused, looking at her own reflection in the glass for a moment, before looking over at the other items therein.
Of course, she was ready to go and continue destroying more viruses, but a moment to admire herself was something that she wouldn't miss out on.
Folder In: AquaKnife, SlowGauge)
Plucking the chip data from the GMD before it could disappear, looking at it for a brief moment before sending it to joseph. Whatever that bar was, must have been a relic of a bygone age. With a shrug, the hulking navi couldn't help but chuckle at his battle partner as she looked at the rows upon rows of outfits across the field, making sure to stay close by. I'm sure they'd look quite good on you. He mused as he looked around at the outfits himself. Maybe he could figure out another way to wear some sort of clothing himself. He wasn't exactly modest with wearing his old navi suit as a loincloth...not that he had anything down there...did he? Shaking his head away from uncouth thoughts...
Ah yes, Graphic Model Overides. Another way for a navi to differentiate themselves...sadly I...really can't use mine. Whoever turned me like this...well...less with the generator and whatnot...put a lock on my GMO processors. Granted, after my first cross, I managed to gain access to them...albeit in a limited capacity. Simple recolorings of my skin, sure...but a variable navi can add an elemental affinity to them upon creation...actually... Asymptote rambled, a glint in his eyes as he thought about it. I'd say we'd be close to a cross ourselves. No idea if we're there or not. But as we grow as friends, maybe more, who knows, that cross gets stronger and stronger. Hear there's also a battle chip or three out there that also gains effects if the user is under the effects of a cross.
As Asymptote continued, the woman frowned, glancing back at him. "That is unfortunate. Perhaps after you and I have eviscerated as many of the little creatures as we can...then I can see if I might be able to offer some...assistance. Surely even if you cannot use a GMO in it's proper format, we can at least find some clothing that can bind properly to your code. Or we can even make some adjustments if need be," the woman spoke, moving to run a finger along one of Asymptote's arms for a moment before she let her gaze flicker off to the side. "Or of course, I can always see about changing my outfit to be more like yours-"
"Stop," Alexander's voice came through, earning a throaty, full laugh from the woman.
"I was just having a bit of fun, Alexander. Isn't that right, Asymptote, my dear?" she asked, looking to the man.
"Fun or not, we're here for virus elimination. Continue on."
Vigil shook her head. "All work and no play makes Alex a dull boy. Come now, Asymptote," she spoke, beginning to make her way further up the road.

Battle 4: Searching! Neo Metool Bounty!
Heyheyhey, Asymptote, lets not give the impressionable youths ideas here...
Like you were any different as a kid? I know you liked to-
Aaaaaand just like that, I'm stopping you right there, better keep up with Vigil before she goes too far ahead.
Asymptote chuckled audibly as he was quick to close the distance between him and Vigil with long strides to follow her up the road.
