Visions of Monsters

Asymptote sighed as she plucked the chip from his hand, giving her a smile in turn as she touched his arm, a slight shiver trailing up his spine as she began to walk up the street. Asymptote nodded his head simply and began to follow her.

(Battle 2, Asymptote has Billy Bounty, Vigil has Neo-Metool Bounty)
+2 FXP

Leaving the dead end, Asymptote and Vigil moved on down the street. They had entered a major roadway that continued for some distance. This one was divided down the middle by a bunch of glowing solar panels. The navis ran immediately into a set of roadblocks in the form of actual elongated blocks stretched across the road.

Before the first Roadblock, two drill-like viruses sat. Another one of those slow and powerful tanks sat between them. Another electric ball with twin spinning mini-balls was there as well. And finally they saw an unrolled armadillo.

Looking down the street, they noticed a second roadblock which had two metools hiding under their hats, maybe resting? A boxing creature, a volcano-looking guy, and another needle-armed Billy sat near the metools.

Finally the sound of an airplane engine could be heard as a single-engine fighter aircraft flew onto the scene. They had quite the fight on their hands.

FighterPlaneFighterPlane (FighterPlane)

FighterPlanes attack and move at the same time, but dodge separately. FighterPlanes pick a target, then fly towards it while firing their guns each action until they either ram the target or pass it by. After this, they dodge once while selecting a target again (it can be the same target). They then repeat the attack cycle. FighterPlanes try to avoid physical contact with Terrain or Objects, and higher versions may attempt to dodge incoming attacks during their attack run.

-- Battle 2 Ready? Start!! --
Asymptote continued to follow behind his new friend for a while yet until they finally came up to another round of viruses, far more than usual for their relegated "difficulty", the monster's mind swimming as he began to seriously consider their options. Both him and Vigil recovered quite well during the last virus fight they were in...but that didn't mean that they would stand a chance if they weren't careful. Gently holding a hand out in front of Vigil's body as he stomped up next to her, the navi closed his eyes and let out a puff of electrified air in front of him. Vigil, I'll take care of the rabble in front of us. Asymptote began as electrical discharges flowed from his hand, jumping onto Vigil's body with a slight static crackle. Her body quickly becoming wrapped up in the electrical discharge. Well...ain't that peculiar. Asymptote mused as Vigil could feel a slight tingle going across her body, nothing major happening to her body, though if she tried to channel it's energy, she could possibly use it in one of her chips. That's an Imbue I believe is what they call it...it can...well, be channeled into a null elemental chip of your choice, giving it the properties of an electric based attack, which, here, will interact with a one-hundred percent boost to damage on the metal around here. Asymptote attempted to explain in his own words, rubbing the back of his neck almost instinctively as he turned to the viruses again. Alright then...lets get started.

Asymptote began to walk towards the first of the two Roadblocks, his walk quickly turning into a jog as he was quick to lean forwards, in an attempt to keep his head down and his body to keep himself as small as possible. His target to get move towards the right as he rushed towards the heard of viruses. Summoning the first into the palm of his hand, a small, junk-made misshapen kettle began to materialize in the palm of his hand, the sever inch thing beginning to pop and shake as it brought the data from the virus it was made from into it's body. Asymptote looked around the area, his eyes growing a soft green as his generator hummed softly behind him, taking aim as he figured out where to toss his make-shift weapon. Bringing his arm back, the navi would toss the tea-pot into the gaggle of viruses, the weapon growing almost four times it's size mid-air and landing with a loud thud before it continued to pop and boil even louder than before, practically jumping off it's spot on the ground as water leaked out of the sides of it's make-shift design.

After throwing his weaponized kettle into the fray, Asymptote began to summon the power of the electricity that he needed for his next attack. An electrical discharge flowing around Asymptote's hands, the navi's eyes glowing just the same as before as the navi curled his fingers into a fist, before bringing out both his thumb and pointer, taking quick aim at the kettle he had thrown, he brought his thumb down onto his finger and out shot a bolt of lightning into the area, hoping the thundering shot would strike his kettle without interference and cause it to boil over. But before he could see what kind of carnage the overflowing boiling water could cause to the viruses around it, Asymptote was quick to beat feet from his position, running away from the viruses he had attacked, he quickly tried to move backwards away from the viral horde before they could do much to his fleshy exterior and hopefully, his plan came to fruition and annihilated or at the very least, managed to delete the majority of his section of viruses.

Vigil's mouth twisted into a smirk as she saw the horde of viruses before them. She could feel Asymptote stop, and she followed suit, stopping as well, glancing back toward him even before his hand extended out toward her in order to get her to stop. "The rabble? What a knight in shining armor," she purred, laughing a bit. It was honest, mirthful laughter and not any sort of mockery. Being treated as a lady like this was a far cry from how Alexander interacted with her and she found it quite amusing. "Go thee then, sir knight. Remove these eyesores from my presence," she spoke, gesturing a hand out, not at all missing the intentional pun that she had placed upon the 'eyesores' bit. However, as his hand stayed near her, it began to spark and sputter, before an arc of lightning jumped to her. She gasped a bit, expecting pain...but finding only a strange electrical sensation passing through her body. "How...interesting," she spoke, as she splayed her fingers, letting the lightning arc between her fingertips.

As Asymptote explained how the effects of what had happened worked, she gave a small sound. "Hm. I will see if I can use this to some large potential for us, Asymptote my dear knight," she spoke, laughing a bit as an eye began to pull itself up from the eye sigil that lay engraved into the ground where she walked as she examined the lightning as a woman might examine an engagement ring, mostly just watching the electricity dance betwixt her fingers. "How interesting," she mused again, before the eye at her feet followed Asymptote as the man began to move, lumbering forward toward the first roadblock, watching him go for a moment before she turned her attention to rear, looking at the secondary group. She gave a small sound then of amusement as she looked back down at the voltage arcing up her arm. "I see. Well then. Let's give this a little bit of a try, shall we?" she asked, before sending her eye to bounce over the first roadblock, and turn its range of vision over toward the second roadblock and the viruses that were there.

This was going to be dangerous stuff to fight against, but she felt like with this new gift that Asymptote had given her, that there would be a very curious way to...destroy a great deal of enemies in a single go. The eye beneath her, and the one she had just created, widened, as if they were pulling in all of the visual data in order to read exactly what they needed to in order to perform the upcoming attack as best that she could. The woman used her two points of reference to focus them in on all three axes, knowing what she was going to be doing, here. She had handled this once before, but now what was about to form was a great deal more...exciting what with the gift that she had.

"Let us see how this trick of yours works, Asymptote!" she called, as she turned her attention to her NetOp. "Bomb, please," she called sweetly, and the chip data began to form in her hand, a wide, empty staring eye that seemed to have either no iris or no pupil- it was difficult to tell as it was entirely black where the eye would normally have seen out of. The woman once more ran the calculations for the trajectory before she darted forward, using the momentum of her small movement to gain extra throwing power to aim it right where she wanted- which was directly onto the horde of viruses in the rear of the street, before Asymptote finished his own set of attacks, letting the electricity imbue the bomb, and hopefully causing a widespread swath of destruction..!

Vigil creates an Eye drone and sends it after Asymptote as the monstrous navi rushes toward the right side of the first constructed barricade. Vigil also takes a moment to feel out her new imbued power and take aim at the second group, far away from them.

Vigil then dodges straight towards the first viral group as Asymptote tosses a LittleBoiler1 into the middle of that same enemy group. Trying to get it as close to RoadBlockA as he can.

Vigil and Asymptote then attack the viruses with various explosives. Vigil's arm is just barely enough to throw the bomb far enough that the explosion barely clips the Volgear. But that is enough to delete the Volgear. Asymptote tries to electricute the LittleBoiler to set it off, just as the Billy shoots electricity at him, but surprisingly misses as the Billy's bolt goes right by his face. Asymptote would probably blame the Billy for foiling his plan.

Asymptote dodges backward as the two Drixols rush the two navis. Asymptote dodges the one going after him, while the other Drixol misses Vigil, both ending up behind the navis. Perhaps traveling in a straight line telegraphed their attacks too much and made it easier for the navis to get out of the way. The Catack, being debuffed by Asymptote, starts turning its cannon towards Vigil. The boom of its cannon goes off as it shoots at Vigil, who dodges as the explosive shell goes off behind her. After the explosion clears, the Champu appears from the smoke and tries to punch Vigil from behind. It lands a single punch on Vigil, right before it is healed up by Asymptote's healing signature.

The Armadill scampers off to the left and away from the barricade, lining up both Vigil and Asymptote in a straight line, ready to attack. The Eleball rushes between the two navis, its two mini-eleballs spinning, striking at both of them. Asyptote gets hit twice, while Vigil is hit once. The metal makes it worse.

During all this, the two Mets continue to hide under their helmets. The FighterPlane comes down to strafe Asymptote, but misses all four of its shots. Now no longer in High Altitude, it makes a beeline for Asymptote. IT IS GOING TO RAM!

Asymptote had managed to get his kettle out onto the field, sliding it towards the middle of the group of viruses, that part was pretty much on point. The part what wasn't on point was him missing as a Billy shot a lightning bolt at him, causing Asymptote to miss his target completely...at least he wasn't stunned again, gods he couldn't help but hate that feeling, pins and needles all poking and stabbing him all at once, the slowness of his movement, everything that comes with it. But before he could continue to think about it more, he turned his head as he rubbed his wounds, seeing the FighterPlane on a crash course with his bulky body. The navi grunted as he would quickly do his best to evade the flying monster of the air by going and quickly jumping to the side and hopefully out of the suicidal virus' way, his body rolling southwards as he tried to also gain a bit of distance away from his Kettle.

Quickly getting back onto his feet, Asymptote was quick to request another chip from Joseph, this time one of his favorites in the form of the ever so wonderful ClusterShot. Vigil, get as southward as you possibly can! I'm gonna hit the kettle I sent out, and by god, it's gonna make a big boom, try to get as far away from it as possible! Asymptote shouted out as four balls of pure light began to waft around his body, circling him slowly as he brought his aiming processors online again, taking aim at his unmoving kettle before grabbing the four balls of light into his hand and in a single movement, flung the four as a circling group at the object. Crackling with electricity, the four attempted to strike the metal on metal kettle one after another, swinging widely around to smash into it and hopefully bring the contents to a massive, explosive, third-degree inducing boil.

And with his chip spent, an errant spark of electricity traveled down Asymptote's leg as he quickly beat feet from his position, feet stomping heavily on the ground as the errant spark would trail over to Vigil and wrap her up in a healing shock as it hit her foot. Asymptote, in turn, summoned the lightning down onto his fists again, his body trembling as he quickly smashed the electrified fists into his chest, the navi's body shuddering as he felt the charge begin to sink into his body, healing him from the inside out.

Apparently she needed a stronger arm to throw something as far as that. She gave a small sound and wondered if she might be able to talk to Alexander on that front. Perhaps it was something that could get added into her programming. "Alexander, could you looking into increasing the throwing range of my aim? Throwing the Bomb would have been more effective if I could have hit them all," the woman said, even as she darted around the attacks that were coming her way, coming to a rest and heaving a small sigh...only for the Champu to land a blow on her.

"I'll look into it. For now-" Alexander began, before the Eleball hit her, causing Vigil to let her fingers splay out, each of them twitching at different rates as the claw-like appendages looked like they wanted to form. "Do not. Let's get further toward that second barricade. Whatever Asymptote and Joseph are planning, let's not be anywhere near that," he spoke, and Vigil gave a frustrated growl, wanting to tear out the data of the viruses that would dare lay their hands upon her. However, once Asymptote's own warning reached her.

She paused, glancing at the man before giving him a beaming smile, the fanged grin the only thing showing with her face covered as it was. "Understood, Asymptote dear~" she called out to the lumbering Navi as she saw the spheres of light data that he began to utilize, aiming at the pot. That meant it was going to likely erupt, if what Alexander and Asymptote both were telling her. She glanced toward the second group of Viruses, before deciding that would be the best place to gain some cover. With the destroyed Volgear, there were only a handful of Viruses still there at the moment as she glanced at the other ones that were encroaching upon her.

Spinning in place, the eye that she was standing upon began to close as another began to open on the other side of Roadblock A, and she turned herself into that dark, liquid-like data as she moved, making her way across the barrier before the eye widened, the iris beginning to fire upward in an iridescent spray of color, covering her in a protective veil even as the eye beneath her began to close, and another began to open. She was aiming to simply get as far toward the other roadblock as she could, aiming on using Roadblock B for cover as she did so, planning to crouch down on the other side of it for whenever the explosion itself went off.

As she finished her movement, she released her Eye, letting it roll on top of the second barricade on the right-hand side, looking back down toward the group near the Kettle, mostly watching to see what might happen.

As the FighterPlane continued its suicidal approach, its guns opened up again just before it tried to ram. Asymptote managed to dodge one of the two shots it took with its guns, and the plane itself. Vigil leapt over the first barricade and made a dash to the second barricade, receiving a little healing from her ally. The Armadill curls into a ball and then rolls at the two navis, but it misses as Asymptote and Vigil get the heck out of dodge.

Vigil puts up a barrier around her as she moves. Asymptote shoots at the Kettle with a barrage of electricity. After the first attack hits, enhanced by the metal around the Kettle, the LittleBoiler begins bubbling. A ticking time bomb! Meanwhile, the first Drixol tries to attack Asymptote, disappearing through a portal and reappearing to attack him from a different direction than it did the first time. But it misses a second time. Asymptote is too nimble for a hulking brute.

Vigil and Asymptote book it down the road as the second Drixol, the Eleball, and the Billy launch attacks at them. The Drixol teleports just right in order to hit Vigil with its spinning drill, but her barrier protects her, then pops. The Eleball follows them and manages to run right through both of the navis, causing two shocking hits on Asymptote and one on Vigil. Vigil's feinting saved her from a second hit. The Billy launches twin lighting bolts, one at each navi, but misses both of them.

Then the Kettle explodes! The explosion engulfs the FighterPlane, both Drixols, the Catack, the Armadill, the Champu, the Eye1, and the RoadBlockA. When the smoke clears, all that is left is one Drixol and the Champu. The Eleball had moved to give chase to the two navis and was now near the second, and only remaining, RoadBlockB. Vigil jumped over the RoadBlockB and placed one of her Eyes on top to assess the damage. Asymptote shocked-healed away a lot of the damage he took.

The Champu dusted itself off and teleported over to Vigil, hiding behind the RoadBlockB, but one of its punches just hit the RoadBlockB instead. The Champu ended up on the other side of the barricade from the navi instead of on the same side. It was then that the first Metool came out of hiding. It took its mattock and struck the ground, sending a shockwave at the hiding Vigil. Once again, Vigil was spared as the ground shook nearby her, missing her. The aim of the Metool wasn't the greatest when it couldn't see her, but the RoadBlockB took a hit. The NeoMetool continued to hide.

: EXPLODED!
Eye2: 21 HP [On top of RoadBlockB]
The explosion that Asymptote had made was no small feat. The kettle in its infinite rage exploded outward with enough power to decimate not only most of the Viruses that surrounded it, but also the roadblock itself that had been there. She gave a low whistle under her breath before following her Eye to where Asymptote was located. "That was certainly something~" she cooed, before she turned her attention onto the other Viruses that still lingered nearby, feeling a sudden urge to simply eviscerate them here and now. But she would wait, at least for the moment, and get into something of a better position to destroy her foes.

But Vigil wasn't the most...patient. Nor the most tactical.

No, right now, she just wanted revenge on those that would have done her harm, namely the Champu and the NeoMetool that lay on the other side of the wall that she was at. She mimicked an inhale, letting her chest rise and then fall with the movement before she began to move, the woman letting a secondary Eye appear (as Asymptote's kettle had destroyed the other, may it rest in piece,) before she sent it down along toward the opposite side of the roadblock, getting a good blanket view of this whole battlefield as far as what she still had available to fight with.

The eye decoration beneath her widened, as one appeared just on the other side of the wall, near the Champu, giving her (with the information processed by her Eye near her) the angle to fire upon both the Champu and the NeoMetool that had attacked her with a single swing of its axe with one of her favorite chips. As the eye upon the ground on the opposite side of Roadblock B opened wider, Vigil moved, her entire body shifting over the barrier to come just within punching distance of the punch-happy virus.

"Alexander. Shotgun," she called, and she extended her hand as an eye with a figure-8 for a pupil appeared in her hand before she let loose, letting the attack fire outward at point-blank at the Champu, striking it and hopefully getting the NeoMetool that had attacked her as well with it, before her left hand's fingers began to grow and extend in a dangerous, almost horror-movie way before she slashed at the Champu as well, trying to remove the both of them from this mortal coil.

Asymptote's plan had gone off without a hitch (this time), he managed to thin out the viral ranks with his Kettle and gotten him and Vigil to the other Roadblock, as well as leading some of the viruses that didn't get tagged so he and Vigil could take out the rest of their ranks. But unfortunately...the Dixol managed to evade it, and the annoyance known as the FighterPlane managed to continue to buzz around, albeit heavily damaged from getting hit by the ever so scalding water. But smoke wafted off of his bulky form, electrical burns forming on his body again, but he wasn't one to complain about more scars...he heard some ladies liked them, but wasn't one to care much regardless, he was a monster in every sense of the word, what woman would want him?

Shaking those thoughts from his head, Asymptote turned to see Vigil immediately going after the Champu and NeoMetool that had attacked her, she wasn't exactly the...most calm individual it seemed. Not that her complements didn't give him a warm, fuzzy feeling inside the recesses and cockles of his core. Regardless, his generator hummed and began to grind against the metal within, his tendrils of electrical cords hissing and waving about as two electrical shocks began to send themselves through the metal ground, one the usual healing sparks that tickled and ever so slightly (with a simple prick) began to heal his ally from within, her wounds healing and closing, burns fading as well as pain. Meanwhile, a second shock began to stimulate behind her unused eyes, a slight echo going through the back of her head as she attacked the Champu with elongated nails in a horror movie slasher fashion, helping to guide her hand gently toward the squishy interior of the Champu's face.

Asymptote, meanwhile, turned to face his own query, the ever annoying and painful to fight Billy virus. Asymptote calculated his chances to delete it on his own...but, he didn't necessarily need to be alone to fight against the rest of the viruses. Looks like the two of you have been doing quite a bit of brawling as of late. Having fun yet? Joseph chimed in with a chuckle, fully dressed behind the screen, the time has certainly flown between the two of their time zones it had seemed. Been a very electrifying bit, to say the least. But I could use a bit more chip support. Gimmie the RemoteBit and a few other chips, preferably ones that hit an area, god knows we need them. Asymptote asked, and receive he did, a couple clicks came to the PET before he could blink. Just stay on your toes, man. God only knows what the viruses will pull.

Asymptote was pretty calm, closing his eyes as he inhaled deeply, chest grew in size with his air intake. Exhaling, he began to bring the processor power to summon the small control tower to his side to help him out in this fight. Granted, he probably could have taken the time to do so earlier, but...eh, hindsight is always a 20/20 experience, all things considered. The tower summoned, a fairly simple air control spire of gravel and brick with a dull red paintjob attached to it. Atop it was a simple RemoteBit, spindly arms beginning to press at buttons, twist knobs and pull leavers all amongst the controls, a silver UFO beginning to descend upon the battlefield as it cast a small-ish shadow over Asymptote.

Alright, lets see if this works... Asymptote mumbled under his breath as his body began to grow hotter and hotter as time went by, even as steam began to rise up from his body, the navi quickly became a superheated mess, glitches rising from his body, his own external appearance seemingly fragmenting in front of everyone as he let the energy well up within his body until he couldn't take the pressure anymore. Opening his shark-like mouth, the navi's maw began to glow with a great power before a ball of pure fire-elemental energy shot out towards the Metool, causing Asymptote to very slightly reel back as the ball of fire launched, shrinking greatly in size until about the size of the Metool he had aimed at. But despite all that, Asymptote could feel himself cooling down immensely, his signature programs stabilizing and, with it, he could feel the ability to heal himself or Vigil before much longer...just needed a few more moments...

Then his eyes turned towards the annoyance that had been passively shocking him and Vigil as they moved about the battlefield, he couldn't put it off any longer as he took up a defensive stance against the smiling orb of electricity as he began to shuffle his feet back and forth, to and fro as he attempted to get himself in and out of the EleBall's range of attack. And not long afterwards his fists he had put up began to emmit a golden light, engulfing them for a brief moment as a familiar yellow metool-colored plating grew around with, nails and screws embedding themselves into his forearms and hands, white and red coated spikes like bones jutting up from his skin at the knuckles and on top of that, a pair of electrical channeling spikes came up from the backs of his hands, a current running around them. And with a grunt, Asymptote brought his arms back, moving forward as he clasped the two together with a metal clang, and thrust his fists forward, attempting to cave the EleBall's face right in with his spiked fists, with an added electrical current to add on pain towards the EleBall.

And just as Asymptote thrust his fists forward, his RemoteBit got to work. The UFO that had been summoned letting out a high pitched scream as it began to fly over towards the Billy that Asymptote had his eyes upon. Stealing just a little extra processing power from the navi's signature systems, it glowed a very faint green color as it brought out it's own electrical spike from beneath it. Sending it's electrical energy through the spike, a bright flash engulfed the UFO briefly before sending down a thundering shock of electricity towards the electrical ball, attempting to zap it completely and utterly into non-existence.

Asymptote continued to provide support for the two navis as he healed Vigil and stimulated her aim with electrical shocks. He also debuffed the Drixol and summoned a control tower and Remote Bit. Vigil created another remote-viewing Eye and sent it rolling down to the opposite side of the RoadBlock. She then jumped over the barricade and lined herself up with both the Champu and the Metool.

Both Asymptote and Vigil fired attacks at the Champu and Metool. The Metool succumbed to both attacks as the Champu teleported right through the Shotgun blast and appeared behind Vigil. The Shotgun blast Spread through the Metool to hit the Eleball, damaging it heavily. The Champu tries to land a punch on Vigil, but she weaves through them with her feinting. The FighterPlane, spewing smoke from its damaged engine, it started to move in evasive patterns as it turned around to reorient itself. The Drixol lines up with Asymptote, Eye2, and the RoadBlockB and drills in a straight line across the road. Asymptote dodges and the Eye2 gets hit as it goes straight over the barricade without damaging it, as it missed. Funnily enough, Eye2 comes out unharmed as Asymptote's debuff muted the attack against it, somehow.

Asymptote becomes invigorated by his fiery attack, and subsequent dodge, as Vigil turns around and slashes at the Champu. She scores a clean hit on the boxer and cuts its face. It squeeks in pain and puts its gloves up to cover its face. Meanwhile, the Eleball moves to try to get in between Asymptote and Vigil again. It misses Vigil with both its swirling orbs, but strikes Asymptote twice for shocking damage. The NeoMetool finally comes out of its hard-hat and shoots at Vigil, but misses.

Asymptote doesn't have to go far to punch the wounded Eleball with an electrically imbued GutPunch. The virus explodes as the fist splatters right through the orb.

The Billy and the Remote Bit trade attacks. The Billy throws a thunderball at the control tower and misses, but the slow ball turns around and begins to home back to it for another shot. The Remote Bit was much more accurate in its attack and strikes the Billy from above with a huge jolt of lightning, causing the ground beneath to crack as the Billy is turned into a crispy critter.

The Metool exploded into a crash of sparks of data, and Vigil let a wicked grin spread over her features for a moment. The pummeling that the Champu had done on her, or attempted, still caused her some frustrations with the little wily creature. She wanted to rend it limb from limb, but there wasn't much more that she could do here. He was too quick...too fast. She would need to take a bit more time...but right now, there was another, larger, more dangerous adversary that was out there too- that being the Drixol.

However, Asymptote was quite skilled on his own...and the creature was standing on the metal panels that she had quite learned had done a good job to conduct the extra electricity in the environs around to deal additional damage. She glanced back at the hulking monstrosity, before the hungry, almost twisted grin switched to be something a little more pleasant. Before long it had widened into a winning, cheery smile as she turned to face Asymptote, ignoring the viruses that were around her.

"Asymptote, my dear, could you handle that dreadful Drixol?" she asked, even as she let the claw-like blades on her hand extend even further, before the cheerful smile that she had on her features seemed to be almost...fake for a moment as she turned, whipping back around to face the Champu as her claw-like hand whipped around, aiming to simply scythe through the creature's body. "Execute!" she called, ecstasy dripping from her tone as she intended to have the virus's data dripping from her fingers as she attacked.

Unwilling to simply be placated with that, as she knew that the Champu had a tendency to dodge around her, she moved, Feinting toward the moved Champu with her claws, slashing aggressively at him once more, the eye that followed her movements down at her feet widening in the same ecstasy that she was feeling right at this moemnt as she tore through the data, or attempting to do so, at any rate. If the Champu had been deleted with her first stroke, then she would redirect onto the Metool that had decided to come and visit them out of its shell.

"Execute, execute, execute!" she called, excitedly toward the virus as her tendril-like claws slashed again and again, aiming to rip these apart with her own hands.

Asymptote had once again run into the glowing bulbs of the EleBall and once again, his scars only grew thicker and thicker as they continued to form over the heated wounds, electrical burns across his body despite his best efforts...but at least he managed to smash the annoyance into a pulp, it's body crumpling like paper from his fist and similarly dissipating into junked data. Closing in on you...I will persevere. Asymptote mumbled under his breath as he turned to face the Drixol, hearing his partner ask for the summary deletion of it's very existence. Gonna make it through...gonna make it through...divide by zero like a wrecking crew. He mumbled again, a song rumbling through his mind as he the lyrics spoke to him.

Pounding his chest, the navi's body began to glow with a faint electrical charge spreading out from his "heart" as he began to pound rapidly upon it with the palms of his hands, electricity coursing over the gauntlets as sparks leaped and surged over his body all the more as he began to let loose a war cry into the air, his muscles rippling with energy as the scars that had formed about his body began to peel off of his body, dropping with a simple wet plop, "blood" data sticking to the undersides as he recuperated his body and restored his data integrity, simple gashes still left over that had failed to fully heal up.

Afterwards, his war cry growing ever louder, the bulky and heavy navi with a full pool of HP quickly darted off towards the second of the RoadBlocks that had been the bane of their existences. "Sweat" data dripping off his body as his foot hit the top of the object, Asymptote brought his knee downward and immediately launched himself off into the air, a good several feet above the ground, the navi looked downwards, his eyes beginning to glow a green hue as he took aim at the Drixol virus, attempting to make sure his launch was perfect to attack it from above.

With a roar of anger still in his throat, Asymptote began to furiously swing at the air, crackling and hissing electrical charge echoing through the air as he fall through the air, his fists ready and his mind primed. His fists attempting to swing and pummel downwards at the ground, the charges inside the back of his head telling him it was a bad idea, air practically dodging away from his furious fists as metal met metal seconds later, along with a loud clang of his heavy body against the ground. With a secondary attack, Asymptote would quickly get back to his full height as he began to swing rapidly at the air in front and to the side of him, widely swinging and punching at the air in a mad, almost insane intent on eliminating his target that his ally had asked him to delete. Maybe he works harder for women?

While it's summoner was wildly attacking through the air and on the ground, the Twisty in it's ground control tower began to continue it's attack on the viruses in the area. While Asymptote and Vigil were very much preoccupied with their own targets, another had been going unnoticed between the two of them, the flying menace known as the FighterPlane. Having it's wits about it, the UFO shaped air fighter began to go around for another pass over where the two were fighting, and right on target, was it's victim. It was just above the ground, but despite that, the Twisty began to get a target lock on the plane as it began to turn around the corner of the RoadBlock. Opening up the bottom of it's compartment, the UFO began to charge up it's electrical laser, a ball of energy quickly forming from the spike, it attempted to shortcut the FighterPlane and get just above it from the front, letting out it's beam of electrical energy preemptively in an attempt to hopefully clip the plane before it could make another pass at Asymptote and Vigil.

Only a couple of offending targets left and with the tables well and truly turned, Asymptote added a certain amount of intimidation to his already frightful appearance as the injuries he had sustained healed away to nothing at all even as he moved to follow his partner's request and mop up the remaining viruses. He managed to electrocute the surviving Drixol soundly before it could attempt another attack run, while Vigil, not far away, finally put paid to the Champu that had been harassing her as well. The reclusive Neo-met, thinking it had an opportunity to attack safely, attempted another shot on Vigil while her back was turned, but a sudden turning movement from the mistress of eyes both caused its shot to miss, and also brought the navi face to face with the virus. It had a brief moment to contemplate its poor decision, before her smile, and more pointedly, her claws, tore it apart.

The field seemed mostly clear now, though far off, the fighter plane had turned to get the two navis in its sights again and began a fresh strafing run. As it flew towards them, however, focused on the targets in its sights, a sudden searing bolt of electricity dropped from the sky above it, directly in front of the plane's nose, and bisected the virus in a brief instant that must have been a shock to it in more ways than one.

Asymptote breathed out as the data began to flood his body, more zenny began to slip into his pockets and a rather nice chip to join with the ones that he had, his electrical collection was beginning to form and he had plenty to go around for toasting the viruses around him. Giving the Twisty up in the tower a thumbs up, it began to disappear as he walked over to Vigil. That...got a bit hairy, not going to lie. Asymptote breathed, closing his eyes. You doing okay there, Vigil? I'm sure you're not used to this kind of stuff, but you're looking pretty good out there...-could- work on the temper...but who am I to judge?
As the viruses lay in pieces around them, Vigil lifted one of her long, finger-like claws to her lips, sampling the viral data that lingered there for a moment. The decimation around them had mostly been at the hand of her new friend Asymptote, to be certain, but she hadn't slouched either, the two of them working together very easily in the destruction of these viruses.

She gave a small mewl of amusement as she dropped the last bits of data, extracting the chip information from it as it fell, before she turned to face Asymptote, the two Eyes still on either end of Roadblock B turning to look at him as well. "I found it exhilarating, if I were to speak the truth," she spoke, a little breathless in her excitement, before she glanced over at the destruction around them. "Such power that is contained...this is truly an exciting way to live. I suppose Alexander was not too far off with his suggestions," she spoke, before she heard her ally comment on her temper.

Rather than grow angry, Vigil let a laugh bubble up from inside of her, the woman's fangs showing in her humor before she moved to get herself back under control. "If you are willing to continue onward, my dear Asymptote, I have only begun to sate my appetite. Surely we can...please one another in our skill...for a little longer?"

--

Outside, Alexander exhaled, and Travis let out a laugh at the female navi's flirtatious manner. "I'm going to remove that, you know."

Travis grinned. "Sure, man. As soon as you can find out where I put it in the code." Alexander merely grunted in response.
Asymptote examined the surroundings around them, there was quite a lot of it, granted you couldn't see a ton of it in the way of "lasting" damage, really. The scalded area would heal eventually, and the less said about the dents in the metal the better...but she was certainly...intoxicated by the adrenaline that flooded her veins.

Adrenaline's a hell of a drug, I can tell you that much. Asymptote commented, just barely coming down off of his own high of battle, his body still aching for more combat, even if his conscious mind was telling him to call it quits. Alright then...if you're willing to go another round...I suppose I can agree to that. Let us hurry on to the next fight. Just tell me when you're getting tired, it's too dangerous to fight when you're running on fumes. Asymptote would warn her, patting Vigil on the back as he slowly lumbered deeper into the net, making sure that Vigil could keep up.

Meanwhile, Joseph was going over some of the footage of the fights that Asymptote and Vigil were going through, scratching his head. D-Did he design his signature attacks himself?...or did his processors do it unconsciously?

(Battle 3, 190 HP)
"Another and another and another," the woman responded, doing a small twirl on one foot to show her excitement as she turned back to face him. "I feel that with you as my ally, that there is no enemy that we cannot defeat," she spoke, and as she did so, she made a small gesture with her hands, causing the two eyes on either side of the roadblock to simply phase out of existence, leaving her with the simple viewpoint that Alexander had as well, looking down on the both of them.

"But I do appreciate the worries, and I will certainly inform you if I feel that I am unable to continue," before she gave him another beaming smile once he pat her on the shoulder, heading further within. The woman began to follow, the movements of her legs almost indecipherable beneath the long gown that she wore as she followed along with the lumbering giant.

She was curious, how strong he really was. She was certain that she wouldn't be able to best him in a fight, should it come down to it. Not that she believed it would- Asymptote was someone that was unaccustomed to people treating him with normalcy, it seemed, given his surprise when she'd first addressed him back in the coffee shop. But while he had initially simply been an ally for her to assist her in fighting, she found herself fond of the brute. She hoped that their friendship would continue!

(Battle 3 Request | 140 HP Remaining | Asymptote has Billy Bounty and Vigil has NeoMetool Bounty)
+2 FXP

Asymptote and Vigil cleared out the roadblocks and continued off the street and into the shopping district of Electown. First they had to face the welcoming committee in the plaza. The viruses were fanned out all over the place, but basically all within the same area. There was a floating virus made of magnets, an armadillo, two viruses with lightning rod for hands, an electrified scarecrow, a mole with a shovel, a tank, a little helmeted guy with a pickaxe, a floating fish with a wide mouth, a virus made of drills, a ball of electricity circled by tinier balls of electricity, and another helmeted guy with a gun arm.

Behind the two navis the metal road rumbled and split open, revealing an elevator shaft with a platform rising up until it was flush to the street level. On the platform sat three objects that looked like Green Mystery Datas, although two of them were gray. Clearly they were fakes.

-- Viruses --
MagTectMagTect (MagTect)

MagTect move and dodge at slightly above average speed. In spite of the fact that they have wings, and hover above the ground, they are still subject to the effects of the terrain below. Regardless, they are very dangerous thanks to their ability to exert control over enemy movements with pincer attacks and magnetic pull effects. They know how to use these effects, too. MagTects avoid liquid terrain types if at all possible, as they do not function well at all if forcibly submerged.

This virus type also has the rare ability to absorb Elec element damage as healing for the same amount. They are immune to any status effects associated with Elec element damage/attacks. Scarecrows are anchored to the ground, and thus enjoy the effects of SuperArmor. Scarecrow are never encountered underground or indoors.

MomograMomogra (Momogra)

Momogras move by tunneling through the ground. They poke their heads up just far enough from time to time to see where the enemy is, but they are still protected from most forms of attack. Drop attacks, Bomb attacks (which fall out of the air after being thrown), and Ground attacks damage them in this state. Other attacks executed from a high angle/altitude also work. All movements performed by a Momogra are considered a dodge, as they occur underground, and out of sight. Momogras only attack in response to having an attack launched in their direction, and only if they have an action remaining for that turn. Momogras attack by instantly tunneling to the panel behind the enemy, popping out of the ground, and striking with a shovel. A Momogra is completely vulnerable to any form of attack during its own atack, and until it moves again following that attack. The movement prior to the attack does not require an action, but movement afterwards does. The attack cannot execute if the panel behind the target is a liquid terrain type, Metal, Broken, or Missing. The attack also will not execute if there is something currently occupying the panel they would be attacking from. If the attack cannot execute, the Momogra will not move. In the case of Glass and Cracked terrain, the Momogras will still attempt to attack, but suffer the consequences of doing do as those panels will break and damage the Momogra, also causing the attack to fail. Momogra get 1 free movement per turn at the start of the turn before their first action.

-- Battle 3 Ready? Start!! --
The woman moved along with Asymptote, the two simply seeming to be enjoying a nice walk in the road as they continued their little stroll throughout. However, as they walked, beginning to com ecloser to what looked like the commerial district, Vigil clapped her hands suddenly, looking more than a little curious about all of the options here. From her arm, a spherical eye started to form, pulling itself up and out of her dress before looking out over at the various stores that were lined there. THey didn't seem to be populated at the moment with anyone, but at the same time, she still couldn't help herself to windowshop a little bit, looking over the various items that were there in the stores.

"Perhaps I should go on a bit of a shopping spree after this," the woman mused, mostly to herself, as she ran her finger over her lips, looking at some of the dresses that were located within. "Alexander, what do you think? What if I went for something...shorter?" she asked, reaching down and pulling lightly at the garments that made up the long, gown-like dress that she wore.

"I think instead you should focus on the virus group that's waiting for you," the boy's stoic reply returned, and the woman heaved a sigh, waving a hand at him, as if he could see it from where he was. "You can look afterward. If anything survives the two of you, that is," he continued, and that caused a wicked grin to spread across the woman's face for a moment, before she turned, hiding her features once more behind her mask of politeness, not that Asymptote hadn't seen her already starting to lose it just a tad.

The outline of the eye that lurked beneath her widened a little, as if her own were in excitement, hidden behind her mask. The pupil and iris contracted as the eye grew larger, a scintillating field springing up around her before the woman extended a hand back, and in her palm, an eye began to form, swelling up and growing larger before she glanced over at Asymptote. "Let me see what it is that you can do..." she spoke, the little eye that she'd summoned having left itself over by the shops and turned, looking back out toward the street, giving her a dual view of the area before her.

The eye in her hands winked then at Asymptote before she hurled it forward toward the center of the grouping, grinning widely, her fangs once more showing.
