Visions of Monsters

(( Coming in from Here.))

Coming in from Netfrica, Vigil gave a small sound as she gave a long, low stretch, waiting at the appointed time and place both for Asymptote. Despite simply being just data, she had the compulsive need to stretch whenever she was gearing up for some sort of exertion, and combat was at the center of that. Her form was lithe, like a cat, and the buzzing air of Electown made her all the more excited about the upcoming busting.

"So you made a friend, did you?" Alexander's voice came in to greet her, likely having reviewed the logs.

"I did. Jealous?" she asked with a small laugh.

There was no answer for a moment, before she heard a long, low exhale, telltale of one of Alexander's sighs. "No. But stay focused. Electown is a lot more dangerous than ACDC."

"There is no need to worry, Alexander," the woman purred, "I will have Asymptote to defend me. It's fine."

There was an unamused grunt from Alexander's end, but the boy said nothing further.
Asymptote would begin stomping his way up behind Vigil before long, the navi giving her a friendly smile as he began to roll his shoulders, his structure letting out popping noises as he got himself ready for another round of virus busting. Hope I didn't make you wait too long. Got a new bounty for ElecTown, so we're good to go whenever. Asymptote simply said, his netop popping up in a screen beside him, messy hair and a somewhat tired expression on his face, straightening his glasses as he began to drink down a cup of coffee himself. Mmmmm. So, you're the navi that Asymptote talked about? Nice to meet you, I'm Joseph Sine, his operator. Nice to meet you, Vigil.
The woman's smile returned, widening a bit as she heard the stomps that were coming up behind her. She turned, giving the larger navi a winning smile. "Ah! Wonderful!" she spoke, clapping her hands at his note. "Two bounties! It should be quite the entertaining sort of virus busting," she indicated, before Asymptote's NetOP made himself known. "Oh hello there Joseph! One moment!" she spoke, before a picture of Alexander began to appear as well.

"I suppose we will be working together. It's good to meet you. I am Alexander Voss." The man spoke nodded toward both Asymptote and Joseph as well.

"Nice to meet the both of you~" she spoke, waving, before clapping her hands again. "Now then, shall we?"
Asymptote nodded at the young man in the picture as Joseph smiled in turn. Nice to meet you Alexander. It'll be nice to bust with a partner,
many hands make for short work.
Joseph would say simply Certainly a lot more sociable than our last partner, that's for sure.

Nice to meet you Alexander. I'll be happy to help where I can for both of you. Asymptote popped up before nodding to Vigil, beginning to stomp off towards one direction. Alright, lets get started then. Don't be afraid to use me as cover if the need comes up, I can tank a few hits if needed. Asymptote would continue.

(Battle 1, 190 HP, Billy Bounty)
"Good to meet you both~ And have you no worries, Asymptote, I too am sturdier than I look," the woman said with a wide, winning smile as the Net of Electown loomed before them. She was certainly curious what would be here...and if it was something that she'd be able to handle. All-in-all, this was going to be a new experience, that was for sure.

Alexander watched with a small look of uncertainty on his face. He'd never busted with a partner before, not even Travis. This would be a new experience. But above all things, he was ready.

(Battle 1 request! 150 HP! NeoMetool Bounty!)
((Apologies for forgetting. +2 FXP for pre battle post.))

Asympote and Vigil would find themselves placed in a dead in street. Except it was no street... it was a road topped with a thin layer of metal. A very tall brick wall towered behind, and on either side leaving them surrounded with not much chance of an escape. Upon deeper observation they would notice that there was a shadowy hole on their left and right with a ladder hanging out of each, perhaps this would lead them to safty if they needed. These mysterious dark holes continued symmetrically every so often down the path, each with a ladder hanging out.

The metallic road was three panels wide, about half an action down there were two cars. A red one parked on the right, and a blue on parked on the left, with a small gap in between them. Half an action behind them was a orange car parked in the center. Behind each of these was a standstill lock jawed DeadHead virus. The cars giving them some decent cover from head on attacks. In front of the car on the right stood a NeoMetool who eyed the two Navis who had just landed in it's territory. On the opposite side in front of the left car stood a Momogra virus who gripped at its shovel tightly. In front of the Orange car was a Catack... who had its large cannon aimed down the center lane created by the two cars ahead.

Closer almost directly in front of the new friends, they'd see a group of virus friends huddled up all facing each other in a small circle. A Billy, and Elecball let out viral meeps of happiness as they watched a PogoJack bounce up and down playfully.

MomograMomogra (Momogra)

Momogras move by tunneling through the ground. They poke their heads up just far enough from time to time to see where the enemy is, but they are still protected from most forms of attack. Drop attacks, Bomb attacks (which fall out of the air after being thrown), and Ground attacks damage them in this state. Other attacks executed from a high angle/altitude also work. All movements performed by a Momogra are considered a dodge, as they occur underground, and out of sight. Momogras only attack in response to having an attack launched in their direction, and only if they have an action remaining for that turn. Momogras attack by instantly tunneling to the panel behind the enemy, popping out of the ground, and striking with a shovel. A Momogra is completely vulnerable to any form of attack during its own atack, and until it moves again following that attack. The movement prior to the attack does not require an action, but movement afterwards does. The attack cannot execute if the panel behind the target is a liquid terrain type, Metal, Broken, or Missing. The attack also will not execute if there is something currently occupying the panel they would be attacking from. If the attack cannot execute, the Momogra will not move. In the case of Glass and Cracked terrain, the Momogras will still attempt to attack, but suffer the consequences of doing do as those panels will break and damage the Momogra, also causing the attack to fail. Momogra get 1 free movement per turn at the start of the turn before their first action.

-- Battle 1 Ready? Start!! --
The woman came to a sudden stop alongside Asymptote, realizing that there was...a rather large number of enemies here. She hadn't run into anything like this back in the ACDC Net, so seeing this many viruses together in one place was certainly interesting for her. "How curious," she cooed, mostly just tapping a finger on her lip for a moment before she began to look over the battlefield, from Alex's viewpoint. With a gesture, one of the eyes shimmered into existence and then began to roll across the ground over toward the left side of the street, giving them an accurate view of what to expect, here. She didn't want to get too much going on here...but at the same time, knew that she would need to thin the ranks as quickly as possible.

Granted, the three in front of them didn't particularly seem to really care that the two navi were here. And so the woman moved, not announcing her plans to Asymptote, mostly because she wasn't used to fighting alongside someone, as the eye that was beneath her upon the ground widened, and another opened a short distance to her right, the eye simply seeming to be formed of the concrete itself as it slowly opened, the pupil widening similarly before she turned into would could only be described as a liquid pupil, black and virtually substanceless as she simply moved from left to right, over toward where her own bounty was.

Upon her arrival, she moved, sliding a foot forward as she made a gesture with her hand, the eye beginning to move without her, bursts of energy coming up from the pupil as it moved, the woman modifying the ShockWave chip for her own purposes before she extended her arms outward, as an eye began to appear above the Deadhead hiding behind the red car, and a burst of energy rained down from her, aiming to delete everything surrounding the red car, and the red car itself if it got in the way of her attack!

Asymptote watched down the middle of the field as he saw a veritable cluster of viruses, all perfectly lined up for them to attack. Asymptote also saw that the entirety of the "road" was completely made up of metal...inwardly, the navi cackled to himself, with his new electrical frame to fight with, not to mention all the viruses clustered up...he could do some serious damage if he did this right. And by god, he wasn't afraid to cause some damage if it suited him. Of course, the field was pretty crowded and enclosed on top of that. But despite all that, Asymptote could feel he had some room to work with as far as movement was concerned.

Watching Vigil throw out a Shockwave, as well as summoning up an eye to see on the field...despite the giant eye, he wasn't at all concerned with it. It helped her see, and in the worst case scenario, it would be a meat shield and that would be one or two less attacks coming their way. Scanning the field, Asymptote. Looks like your electricity will come in handy with all this metal around. Just name off the chips you want and I'll send them. Though, that Momogora on the field will be tough to hit without arching attacks, good thing we have those bombs ready. Joseph rattled off with a yawn, rubbing his eyes again as he sat on his hotel bed with the TV on as white noise. Some show on about contestants running through a dangerous looking obstacle course and getting sent into a moat of water for their mistakes and failing. It was a bit annoying, but it was something in the background.

Asymptote only needed one word for what he wanted. Shockwave. And with a click, Asymptote received the chip data almost immediately. Granted, he was also facing down a Catack in front of him, the navi rumbling under his breath as he tried to figure out a way to use his new mutations to his advantage...and where a question came, an answer was soon to follow. The navi's back began to hum lowly as it began to spin internally, a soft and pale green glow bathing his body as out came two spindly black cables, wires sparking and hissing intermittently as they waved about. Asymptote, hunching over, planted his hands on the ground, arching his back upwards as the two cables crashed through the metal with a loud metallic groan as they were forcefully burrowed into. The cables wriggling and waving about as he sent the two underground for a moment, until a second later, they crashed out from either side of the Catack. The two wires hissing like snakes with their electrical shocks attempted to wrap around the tank-like virus, aiming for it's treads at the most as they attempted to halt the virus' movement for a brief moment. And a few moments later, after Asymptote had made his next move, they hissed again like rattle snakes, attempting to deliver a shock to the Catack's metal body, even more so painful due to the terrain under it's body.

Asymptote panted and groaned out, feeling his body's processes slow down regardless of his snake-like tendrils. The two cables snapping from his body, Asymptote was quick to follow up his attack. His eyes beginning to glow a gentle green despite the red they were colored like, Asymptote summoned a pickaxe much like the Metool viruses that held them in turn. Though in this case it was far, far bigger than the norm, about a foot long with a metal pick that stuck out from either side a good several inches on either side that curved downwards. Asymptote let out loud growl at the viruses in front of him, roaring like the monster he looked like, he slammed the hardened metal pick against the ground with a resounding echo around him. The pick proceeding to then generate a thin shockwave from the tip of his axe, however a shock began to clip through the wave that he summoned, an electrical charge summoned from his hands instinctively leading out from the tips. He hoped that his calculations were right and could rip through the viruses that stood in it's way.

Asymptote, grunting as he took aim at the viruses in his way, he would inhale deeply and exhale a cloud of smoke through his metal mesh of holes on his face. The navi taking the chance to move to help evade attacks, a simple sidestep for the moment as he could feel his processors beginning to slow down even faster than he had anticipated, his body becoming ever heavier than he was thinking it would become. MiniBomb Asymptote spoke again, and with it, another click and another chip in Asymptote's Asymptote's hands to delete the viruses in front of him. Asymptote's eyes began to glow the faint green glow as his generator, the navi summoning a simple bomb into his palm, the metallic blue sphere that seemed small in his hands was quick to be wrapped up in Asymptote's meaty fingers. The calculated monster navi taking a quick aim about the area, attempting to lock onto the burrowing menace before bringing his arm back and tossing the bomb into the air at a fairly high arc. It might take time to come down, but when it did finally hit the metal ground, a small explosion rocketed around the area, scorching the metal where it hit a soot-like black.

---Momogora (90+Blast1, +1 Accuracy, Thrown attack)
Vigil summoned up one of her signature eyeball creations and rolled it to her left, in front of the the group of three viruses that were playing merrily in the street. The three did not seem to notice. She then dodged to her right, trying to move in front of the Red Car. Unforunately, dodging was only a few steps worth of movement so all she did was end up standing just off to the side of the PogoJack, Eleball, and Billy, looking directly at the NeoMetool still a quarter action away. A feint's movement would have been sufficient to get right up in the NeoMetools' face.

However, Vigil was still nicely lined up with the NeoMetool, the Red Car behind it, and the DeadHeadA behind them both. She let off a Shockwave that sliced right through them, striking all three solidly before they could react. The NeoMetool meeped in surprise as it was instantly deleted, along with the Red Car. Unfortunately DeadHeadA, like all the DeadHeads, was currently guarding, so no damage was inflicted upon it.

This woke everyone up. The three viruses that were playing instantly turned hostile and all the viruses turned towards the invaders. Vigil continued her attack, while Asymptote finally got into the battle as well. Vigil's All-Seeing Eye blasted at DeadHeadA, trying to finish it off from the earlier attack, but unfortunately the attack just splashed against it ineffectively, like water on stone. Asymptote attempted to send his cables into the hard metal surface in order to attack and entangle the Catack. Unfortuantely, his cables struck the surface of the Metal terrain and failed to penetrate. Nothing could burrow in Metal. So instead, the cables slinked across the ground like snakes and attempted to catch the Catack from below. They were successful. The Catack was struck by the cables, which tried to take out its mobility systems with a surge of electricity. Asymptote also felt slower due to the attack sapping his own systems to power it. The Billy counterattacked the pair of navis. A ball of electricity formed within its lightning-rod-like arms and shot it towards Asymptote. It struck him soundly, amplified by the surrounding metal, stunning him. Asymptote's body responded by activitating a passive healing protocol upon himself, healing a bit of what was done to him.

As the Catack turned its cannon upon Asymptote, Asymptote charged his own Shockwave with electricity. The Momogra could not dig into the hard metal floor so it just raised its shovel defensively. Asymptote launches his attack as the Catack attacks back. The Elec Shockwave slices right through the middle of the street, taking out the Billy in the Viral Huddle who was in the front-middle area, and the Orange Car. The Catack, surprisingly, was not struck. And DeadHeadC was struck, but was not damaged. The Catack's tankcannon blasts Asymptote and Vigil, its shell exploding just far enough away to only effect them. Vigil manages to dodge the blast, while Asyptote takes it fully. However, Asymptote's tentacles were still touching the Catack's treads. Unforunately, during its attack, even the slow Catack managed to move out of the way of the secondary shock before it could go off. However, the damage was done to its motor servos, and it grounded to a halt afterwards. Smoke billowing from its tracks.

Asymptote feints into the middle of the field, moving directly through the Viral Huddle and ending up behind them, in between the wreckage of the Red Car, and the still intact Blue Car. The Eleball attacks Asymptote as he passes between them with its spinning electric balls, and strikes two of two hits. The amplification of the Metal Terrain makes them hurt, a lot.

Asymptote then throws a MiniBomb at the Momogora and the Blue Car. The detonation blasts the poor defending Momogora, its shovel no defense against the concentrated explosion of the small bomb. The Blue Car behind the virus was outside the explosion and stays intact. The PogoJack then jumps at Vigil with its jackhammer pogostick. It lands on Vigil once out of two jackhammer pulses, it lands in front of her where the NeoMetool was before, the metal roadway not cracking underneath the incessant jackhammering.

All three DeadHeads then opened their mouths. Their guard ended, and their attack programs engaged. They were now vulnerable, but dangerous.

~
As soon as she had moved, chaos seemed to unfold around her, in a way that Vigil had not yet seen before. She was still relatively new to virus busting, all things considered, and so this was something that she wasn't used to. There was just so much going on and her processing was taking a slight dip as she tried to keep everything together in her mind. She had only partially seen the Deadhead behind the vehicle from where she was located, and hadn't realized that's what it was. She had thought it a different sort of virus, but now it seemed that not only was there one, but now that Asymptote had destroyed the orange car, there were a total of three of these, and as she looked on, she saw them readying themselves to actually release a powerful attack. That wasn't good.

But even before that, the woman had been attacked, viciously so, by a pogo-riding virus as well that she'd never seen before and that had caused her to get a little more caught off-guard and flustered. This wasn't a fair fight! How many viruses were there at once? Is this what all of the other virus busters dealt with? The woman frowned, shaking her head in muted frustration for a moment as she could feel her own readiness to proceed rising. She would just need to thin their ranks. That had been then plan originally, but right now, she didn't know if that was something that she could do. Each of these opponents that she faced were dangerous, in their own way.

An eye appeared near her, before rolling up to where Asymptote was and beyond, getting a field of view of the Catack and the Deadhead that lay behind the car that had been once present. Giving a small sound under her breath, the woman surveyed the area with a keen eye, knowing exactly where things were now, and what they were capable of. "Shotgun," she announced to Alexander, getting a sound of confirmation before she began to move. There wasn't much she could do, not against this number of enemies, but she could help to get them whittled down.

The eye beneath the woman widened, and then another one began to open, just near the eleball, South-West of it. The woman once more became the immaterial substance, like black ink, before she shot from one location to the next, hopefully avoiding the barrage of attacks that she knew would be coming from the Deadheads. As she arrived, the woman extended her palm, an eye forming with the hourglass pupil, before she fired out the shotgun blast and, looking to simply eradicate them, called for another chip. "FireBurner," she added, and another eye, this one with a bright red iris appeared, before a burst of flame shot outward, hopefully consuming (and deleting) both viruses!

Asymptote let out a low, long groan of pain, eyes closed as his body had taken several hits in the last few moments, burns, gunpowder and a suckling wound in his chest, blood dripping down it and onto the metal panels in front of him...as well as a familiar...and very annoying...pin prickling sensation. On top of that Asymptote had his processors slowed down, his arms moving normally, but everything below his waistline was heavy. Feeling like sandbags had tied themselves to his legs to weigh him down, even as it was but a passing feeling, he knew he wasn't moving very far in the next few moments.

Asymptote. Asymptote! You alright?! You took quite the hit there. Joseph crackled into life in the back of his head, he was busily tapping along his PET's screen, looking along the field as much as he possibly could, seeing the suckling wound in Asymptote's chest as he immediately began to reach for the Recovery30 in their pack. Nnnnnngh...ClusterShot. Asymptote spoke, albeit through clenched teeth. His body crackled with energy as a zap of electricity began to hit where his chest was at. The navi sucked in air as the recovery processes went to work on his gaping chest wound, and whilst not closing it, the beads of electricity would make sure to staunch the bleeding from it for the most part. Joseph shook his head and furrowed his brow, his hand turning away from the Recover30 that he had almost picked up in favor of the electrifying baubles of energy. Asymptote heard the click in his systems, his body shuddering out as he could feel the electricity welling up within his body.

With a snap, crackle and pop, Asymptote's tendrils began to flare to life again after having the data download into his form, arms crackling to life just the same as he stared down the Catack intently. Glaring behind the mask, eyes half lidded in anger as his body began to emit an oppressive aura against it, programming effectively attempting to scare the cannon riding virus into effective inaction against both him and Vigil while she was busy fighting off the Eleball and PogoJack just behind him, hearing her firing off very familiar sounding chips in his blindspot. Grunting, Asymptote summoned four baubles of energy around his body. Crossing his arms and legs, Asymptote stood up straight as the bulbs of energy rapidly circled about his body as his eyes glowed a soft green glow behind the imposing red, his cables wrapping around two of the orbs each, and with a flick of Asymptote's wrists, snapped forwards. His fingers flicking forward, left, right, left, right, in a rhythm that beat in the back of his head, each orb in turn flicked forwards at their intended targets, the two DeadHeads that were on either diagonal side of Asymptote. Their soft glow intensifying as they attempted to smack into each one, the panels below them humming a soft yellow color in indication with Asymptote's attacks.

His attack finished, Asymptote's blood data began to drip again down towards the panels, a wet and sticky plop with every somewhat staunched drip. Asymptote inhaling deeply and exhaling, he smashed his fists together, an electrical current summoned around his body as he began to ready himself for his next attack. Asymptote, I'm sending-DashAttack. The two spoke, Joseph cut off by his navi. Don't be difficult Asymptote, I'm sending-Dash. Attack. Now. The two spoke again, the electrical energy growing in intensity as he built the charge up internally, getting ready to send it out around himself. Joseph sighed out loud, his hand once again turning from the Recovery chip he had in his folder, and instead grabbing the chip depicting one of the Fishy viruses on it and slotting it into the PET.

Letting out a low growl of anger, Asymptote began to summon a cape around his neck. Fluttering behind him without wind seemingly blowing around him, the navi took a step forward. Foot hitting the metal, it echoed around him as it smashed against the now blackened and hot panel beneath him. The cape began to wrap around his body, elongating and stretching around his frame, the navi made a little hop into the air despite the weight on his legs. And with it, he rocketed forwards, metal sheets forming in front of himself as he blasted down the middle of the road, spikes forming in front of the craft that formed under his feet. He aimed towards the immobile Catack and DeadHead that was open to him attacking it. He realized too late...there was a wall behind it. I get the strangest feeling...this is going to fucking hurt... The brute thought as his hands crackled to life with electrical energy. Joseph wants to heal? I'll staunch this wound then. Cauterizing it should work. He thought again quickly as his life flashed before his eyes, thundering energy leaping off his fists as he felt the wounds touched by them staunching, burning closed and healing him despite the pain that flooded through his body.

Even though Asymptote was stunned, his healing processes went off, healing him a little. Vigil took the opportunity to feint to the left, past the Eleball, to get into a diagonal with the Eleball and the PogoJack. The Eleball, happy to just attack anything that passed by it without having to give chase, swung its sparks around in a circle as Vigil tried to run past. Even though Vigil was pretty evasive, she was struck once as she passed, taking a little amplified electric jolt. DeadHeadC made its attack then, along with the immobile Catack. DeadHeadC rotates toward Vigil and fires a dark purple cannonball covered in viscus fluid. Thankfully the shot is wide and ends up slamming into a nearby house, caving in the side and disappearing in the rubble. The Catack, suffering from Asymptote's Debuff, tries to fire its weapon. The explosive shot lands on Asymptote, but there is just a puff of smoke and a spark of flame, the data drained from the attack.

Asymptote and Vigil release their counterattacks. The Shotgun blast from Vigil goes wide unfortunately, missing the Eleball and PogoJack behind. But Asymptote had a lot more luck, as all four ClusterShots hit their targets, deleting the two DeadHeads.

Vigil tried again with a FireBurner1, and managed to catch the Eleball with it, just as the PogoJack leapt over it to attack the navi. The PogoJack missed Vigil with its jump and landed nearby. DeadHeadA, the last DeadHead, turned to fire at Vigil as well. That shot also went wide and another house got its wall torn in. Asymptote charged the Catack with his electric charge... and missed. His processes must have been messed with more than he thought by being slowed and stunned.

Though he ended up at the end of the street, at the dead end wall where DeadHeadC used to have been before he ClusterShot it to death. He put his hands on his wounds and defibrillated them until they didn't hurt as much. DeadHeadA then closed its defensive shell again. The Catack's tracks revved back to life as it was mobile again. And Asymptote felt that he was no longer slowed.

Asymptote had at least deleted the two DeadHeads to the sides of him, and after rocketing off, had somehow missed his intended targets, his accuracy must have been way off, because it was too much of a shift to be real...but either way, Asymptote slid to a stop and quickly turned around. He was in melee range of either virus he had failed to hit...but the DeadHead had been quick to close it's steel mouth, he couldn't pass through it's defenses no matter how hard he tried barring...one thing...but Vigil seemed to be having trouble with the viruses on her end. Asymptote couldn't help but want to help her, they had split up without a word and...he felt it was right to help her.

Vigil! Asymptote shouted out from the other end of the battle field, the slowness of his processors had at least managed to shake off of his coil to say the very least. Try to dodge and move out of the way, I'll take care of those viruses! Asymptote continued as Joseph raised an eyebrow at his navi, fingering the chips next to him, all spilled out across his cheap hotel bed, his PET processing everything across the battlefield. GutPunch and both MaruBlasters, Joseph. I'm gonna give this cannon a good, old smashing and then taze the viruses on Vigil's side of the field. Asymptote spoke again, smacking his fist into his palm. His aura riverberating off of him unknowingly, the Catack once again given a DDoS attack on it's attacking processors.

Asymptote, summoning the chip to his systems, quickly created the fist to smash the Catack into dust. Holding his arm outwards, he felt some sort of liquid metal coating rising to the surface of his arms, the slippery metal slowly engulfing his hand and arm up to the elbow, a metallic sheen coating all over the navi's forearm. Before long, his hand resembled...something far more intimidating than just a fist. Dark red spikes jutting out of the expanding metal at each joint in his fingers, rivets inserting themselves in his wrist as blood gently dripped out of the points that had drilled themselves into his flesh to hold the metal fist that had expanded twice the size of his own. Asymptote letting out a roar of anger, rushed down the Catack, his feet stomping against the ground greatly causing the metal to echo about his steps ever louder. His arm raising up as he was ready to launch an attack upon the virus, Asymptote would simply rear his arm back, and attempted to punch the Catack in the side with his metal fist.

Activating the chip afterwards, a simple two pronged antenna akin to a TV antenna would begin to morph out of Asymptote's free hand, the metal prongs coursing with electrical energy as it arched between the two prongs, moving from the bottom up as it struggled to keep it's charge intact. Asymptote taking aim at one of the distant enemies, his eyes glowed green as he tried to lock onto his target, the navi letting loose a bolt of electrical energy, attempting to strike down the Eleball before it could get off another shot at his partner. But as it flew off at the viral anomaly, the electrical bolt began to arch another electrical bolt of energy from it, aimed directly at his partner. While this would normally be a bad thing, the bolt hitting Vigil would repair her processors from the inside out, giving the blind navi a not all together unpleasant tingly feeling going from point of impact up.

Seeing the electrical charge dying down from his secondary weapon, Asymptote began to try and charge it back up. Unfortunately, the charge only imbued it's self into his giant metal fist that had imbued it's self onto his arm. Grunting as he felt the electrical charge arch about his met-metal fist, the navi was quick to try and strike the Catack again with the weapon. His arm twirling around like it was charged like an engine, his body ever so slightly lifting off of the ground, he finally attempted to smash the tank riding virus flat with his comically oversized fist, electricity sparking from it even more ferociously than before as it touched the metal panel beneath it.

The fist finished attempting to smash the virus flatter than a pancake, Asymptote noticed the charge on his secondary flare up again. Raising an eyebrow beneath his mask, the navi quickly turned to the other virus that had been doing it's best to molest and harm his comrade. A click ringing hollow in the back of his head, the navi took an even greater aim as his generator hummed quietly, eyes glowing a soft grassy green color, he fired off a second bolt of electricity from where he was at, hoping to delete the PogoJack before it tried to harm his friend again.

The woman gave a small hiss of pain as her data was corrupted slightly by the Eleball as she passed by it, frowning slightly as she saw her dress get singed by one of her Eyes that littered the battlefield. That was unfortunate- she had hoped to mostly escape this unscathed if at all possible, but such didn't quite seem to be the case. Instead, she simply had found herself a bit more wounded than she had to begin with.

However, the Deadhead that fired in her direction missed enitrely, otherwise she would have had a much more frustrating time to deal with the damage that would have occurred with her then, but she wasn't going to let such a thing weigh her down, at least not right now. THere were viruses to fight, and she was going to help her new friend eliminate them all. After all, both of them were monsters of a sort, though she didn't quite appear to be on the surface, and she had a feeling that Asymptote was a much nicer navi beneath the surface than she was...but that would yet remain to be seen as she had unleashed the FireBurner upon them after her Shotgun missed entirely. She had been too shaken from the damage taken to aim properly, it seemed, but the FireBurner did the job as well, causing the Eleball to be covered in the flames. It wasn't deleted, but it was well on its way.

The Pogo had been (thankfully) avoided, and Vigil then set her sights on being ready to go on the offensive again, when she heard the call from her ally. She glanced toward him and gave a very slight incline of her head. "Very well," she spoke, the eye beneath her widening and letting a burst of iridescent light cover her for a moment, forming a protective layer of defenses around herself before she moved, darting away from the path of the Pogo and the Eleball both, not wanting to have to deal with either of them. "Thank you for the assistance, my dear," she called out to Asymptote as she moved, her dress reassembling itself slightly. As she slid to a stop, she heard the communicator crackling to life now.

"How are you doing? It seems that you're still in the midst of combat. Have you not yet finished?"

"Not yet my dear Alexander. If you hadn't noticed, there are quite a bit more of them here than there are back in ACDC. Asymptote and I are doing just fine, however. You needn't worry, my dear," the woman spoke back, even as the scintillating aura followed her as she moved back further toward the corner, mostly trying to get away from the Deadhead as it was very likely the only thing that was still going to be standing after this. Extending a gloved hand, however, she let one of the eyes around her widen as it began to fire a burst of light directly at the Pogo, aiming to shut it down once and for all alongside Asymptote's attacks, if that weren't enough to put it down.

"Time to join the ranks of the deleted~" she cooed as the eye beneath her widened as the ray of light shot outward toward the Pogo, aiming to work in tandem with Asymptote's own attack to make sure the virus was forced into the path of the oncoming deletion. "Signature set~ EXECUTE."

Vigil surrounded herself with a barrier of multi-color light as Asymptote heals her a little. Then he runs up and punches the Catack with a giant metal fist, with wicked red spikes. The armored tank takes a direct hit from the navi and some of the plating buckles under the impact.

Vigil then dodges around the Eleball, going even farther left than before. Assisting Vigil in this endeavor, and before the Eleball could react, a bolt of electrical energy lances it from behind (well, as behind as one can get on a sphere). The electricity and the metal road react to overload the Elecball, which puffs out of existance in a cloud of smoke.

Vigil's road eye blasts at the PogoJack with a pellet of light, striking the PogoJack soundly in the torso. Asymptote continues his punching spree on the Catack, giving it another punch (but this time, with electricity added). This also hits and caves the side of the tank in.

Asymptote finishes up his punching and zapping spree by zapping at the PogoJack, but misses as it begins to jump around. However, its attack is very inaccurate and so it lands next to Asymptote without damaging him.

The DeadHead also opens up again, ready to attack once more.

Asymptote grumbled under his breath, his attacks killed two of the viruses, and yet...he missed the third. The blasted PogoJack was certainly a virus that had some mobility, but he couldn't believe that the virus had managed to survive like it had. At least it didn't touch him this time around, but Vigil still needed some sort of healing. His generator humming, a small spark trailed off of his cables that slunk to the ground, the spark traveling across the field as it jumped from panel to panel, even across the car that was in the way as it hopped, skipped and jumped from everywhere until it reached Vigil, jumping up from the ground and onto the navi, giving the allied navi another round of tingly feelings from within.

Asymptote grunted at the PogoJack as his fist crackled loudly with electrical might, hefting the heavy looking fist up and taking pre-emptive aiming at the hopping virus, eyes glowing a soft green behind all the blood red that filled them. Murderous intent hopping from the corpse of the Catack, his processes immediately took aim at the DeadHead's attacking processors, attempting to smother it's poisonous cannonballs to make them hurt far less, though he could not suppress it's venomous nature. Either way, Asymptote turned to the PogoJack, teeth shining as he grinned freakishly at the virus, bringing his arm back, he let loose a crackling, electrifying punch towards the hopping mechanical virus.

Asymptote was quick to follow up on his attack, as the navi's arm had completely become outstretched, he brought his arm into a downward arc, swinging the mass of flesh across the metal paneling. The navi's fist creating a grinding, scraping sound as metal contacted against metal, arm retracting back to him and quickly swinging upwards, the navi's shoulder rotating like a toy out of it's socket and causing a bone crunching sound that echoed about for a brief moment before slamming his arm into the ground again, metal on metal clanging together with great fervor as he attempted to flatten the PogoJack had he managed to miss it on the first go around.

Asymptote would then turn himself over towards the DeadHead, his body shuddering visibly as he snapped his arm back into place without even thinking about it. Feet immediately stomping off towards the immobile virus, his feet clanged loudly against the metal panels, his stomps echoing about as he feinted towards it, looking to get within range of it, even if it couldn't damage him with the cannonball, he wanted to be safe even if it meant himself wasting time to do so. His arm upwards, fist glinting in the light above him, the navi got within range of the virus, his hidden irises expanding within his head as he was filled to the brim with an adrenaline rush, the navi roared out. SUCK ON MY FIST, YOU ANNOYANCE! He half-shouted, half-screamed into the air as he attempted to shove his spiked fist into the open mouth of the virus, attempting to delete it before it could attack.

The little pogo creature was still alive. She had hoped that her attack would have helped to line it up with Asymptote, but it seemed that such had not been the case. The little creature was certainly difficult to deal with, and Vigil had no real wish to deal with it any further. However, a quick glance to her ally indicated that he too was getting rather tired of this creature's constant movements and avoiding. It was like trying to hit a feather on the wind- each attack just simply went wide and wasn't able to really connect with any lasting power. She had managed to strike it with her All-Seeing Eye, but even that hadn't been enough.

However, the creature was now near Asymptote, and she pondered for a moment before realizing that it had put itself into a bad position. Being right next to the monster that was Asymptote felt a little silly, to her, but Viruses weren't exactly the most clever of creatures. It was going to find itself deleted from the barrage that her ally would likely bring to bear against it. Yet even still, Vigil couldn't deny the fact that this virus had outwitted them several times in this battle, and simply been able to avoid things that it shouldn't have been. She gave a small sound of thought as she looked down to her hand, before glancing back up at the PogoJack. She didn't really think that she was comfortable in allowing it the chance to juke around her friend's assault and leave them, once more, without something to contribute herself. "Cannon, please~"

The woman feinted forward, from behind the cover that she had found herself in, and as she did so, a small eye began to form in her right hand. She moved to position herself up near to where DeadHead B had been, giving herself a cross-wise shot with her cannon in the event that it missed, it didn't go barreling into Asymptote! Leveling her hand, the eye began to spin around her wrist for a moment before it settled at the palm of her hand, widening slightly. "Battle Chip, set. Execute," she purred as she waited for Asymptote to swing first, waiting to see if the PogoJack would attempt to avoid and, if it did, to use its bouncing trajectory to assist her aim along with the Eye that sat where the Orange Car had been.

Asymptote's Restoration spilled over her, and Vigil gave a small sound of amusement as a secondary eye opened up beneath her ally as it opened wide, energy spilling upward from it as well, returning the favor of healing..!

Vigil gets healed again by Asymptote as she feints around to the rear end of the Blue Car. Asymptote punches the PogoJack in its stupid face with an electrically charged fist. The PogoJack takes the hit to its stupid face and crumbles to the ground, unmoving.

Asymptote feints over to DeadHeadA as it fires a poison cannonball at Vigil. It strikes Vigil's barrier and leaves a puddle of poison at her feet. There is celebration as Asymptote is healed by Vigil, before Asymptote delivers a final GutPunch to the DeadHeadA's head, smashing it to bits.

And thus were they showered with rewards for a job well done.

Asymptote would let out a sigh of contentment as he felt Vigil's signature repair him from within, the brutish navi would begin to disengage his combat protocols, the reward data being transferred to his processors, his hand feeling a familiar crackling warmth. Closing his eyes he realized it was a simple Thunder1, but...he didn't transfer it. He would instead begin to convert it in his hands, walking slowly up towards Vigil. Hey, Vigil. Asymptote began as he walked towards her, the navi holding out his hand towards her, a crackling sphere of electrical energy floating above the palm of his hand. Chip data. It's from that Billy we deleted. I want you to have it. It'll just languish in my folder, and I figure you could use an extra chip instead of me. You did well out there, better than me. You got potential to grow far stronger, and I wanna help any way I can. Consider this a gift from an ex-teacher. He finished, the navi giving her a faint smile.

The woman gave a small sound of relief as she saw the last virus delete. It wasn't that she was frightened of them (though she did have to admit seeing that many at first was a bit overwhelming). However, now that the battlefield had become something of a virus graveyard, the woman couldn't help but to feel a bit of excitement washing over her. The woman's tongue ran along her fanged teeth for a moment before she glanced over at Asymptote as she saw the fellow approaching and let her tongue slide back in between her lips before she watched him for a moment, the man extending a chip toward her.

Delicately, her fingers plucked the chip from his hand, looking it over as she felt the energies there. "How interesting," she spoke, looking the chip over. She wasn't elementally aligned, and aside from the FireBurner chip that she had, she didn't particularly have anything that was useful for this. But now that she had one...she was curious about obtaining a Wood and Aqua chip as well. May as well complete the collection...though she wondered if that might be helpful or not. She needed more experience in the world to say for sure.

"Thank you, Asymptote, truly," she said with a wide smile, placing her hand on his arm, before she inclined her head up the street. "Shall we?" she asked with a light laugh, the shadows moving beneath the bottom hem of her dress as she drifted up the street.
