The frosty lion and the mighty warrior!

WarriorMan was quick to strike on the severely weakened Boomer, using the tried and true "walk behind the injured virus and stab a pointy stick into its rear" technique, which deleted it rather quickly. With its comrades now routed to the last one, the Kabutank opted to try to flee for another day, but the two warriors wouldn't have it, and combined their efforts to bring down the virus through overwhelming firepower. WarriorMan opted for a couple of fireballs, while Frio went for a roaring AquaDragon instead, which swirled up and dove into the ground, spreading an artificial lake where it attacked. The fireballs landed first, and the dragon's attack landed thereafter, turning it into a pile of scattered ashes in the artificial lake.

BoomerBoomer (Boomer)

Boomers cannot be damaged from any direction in the forward hemisphere so long as they carry their boomerang. Any attacks from the rear hemisphere or Break attacks hit normally. Boomers launch their boomerang when they attack, leaving themselves open to counter attacks. Boomers move by floating through the air, and are immune to the effects of Anchor. They are, however, still subject to the effects of terrain. They cannot be forced to submerge into liquid terrain, nor can they be buried in solid terrain. Boomers are horrible at dodging, as they generally rely on their Rang-Guard ability.

Frio happily sent the Rewards to his operator. "Now that was a fun battle! Great idea sending me flying in the air like that. We gotta do that again!" He was ecstatic, just like a kid who couldn't get enough from a roller coaster at the local fair.

"Yeah you guys looked great together." Layla congratulated the navis, as well as Gary. "Hmmmm I think I want seconds... how about we get refills this time on my tab?" She stood up, and cleaned the table off from all the empty containers and trash. If Gary wanted more she would head back to the register and reorder the same thing.

"Wonder what's next, whatever it is couldn't hope to be a match for us." Frio was definently starting to warm up to his comrade, reguardless of his consistent bashing and insults. If there were more insults to come he would have to do it on the way to the next battle because Frio headed towards the next obstacle.

((Requesting battle 3))
"Finally..." Unlike his partner in virus busting, WarriorMan didn't seem to take much pleasure in the victory, stoically putting away his sword and accessing the reward data. "That took too long for what we were fighting."

"Hey, at least you're okay. So, what'd we get?"

"Money, of course...and there's chip data as well. Data signature matches...Boomer."

"So, we got a boomerang chip?" As Gary popped in a blank chip to copy the data, the information came up on his screen...it wasn't just a boomerang, it was Boomerang. Boomerang1, if you wanted to get technical. "Sweet! Though, you're not really the kind of person that wants their blade attacks coming back at them..."

"Whatever works for the time being, I suppose. Beggars can't be choosers, and when it comes to chips, I'm unfortunately a beggar for the time being." Speaking of begging, he shot a glance back at Lion Boy. "We'll do it again if it's tactically necessary. And ONLY then."

"Heh." Upon Layla's question, the young actor casually flipped a stray hair back, and thoughtfully placed his hand on his chin with a smile. "Hear, now! As a gentleman, I cannot bear the burden upon my heart of furthering the debt on a beautiful lady!" Er, right, he agreed to cut back on the theatrics. "...No thanks, I'll get chewed out if I'm too full from ice cream to eat supper."

"Sounds like personal experience to me."

"Not a chance!"

"...So it was cookies, then?"

Gary took a look over, to make sure the object of his affections was out of ear reach. "...Brownies."

"So I was close." Speaking of close, Lion Boy was off doing his own thing. Sadly, he couldn't abandon him and go do his own thing now, so he'd have to make do with chasing after him and hope the other Navi didn't run into a wall, or off a ledge, or something else that was profoundly dumb.

((+1 FXP))

It didn't take WarriorMan too long to catch up to Frio, who had indeed quickly found the next source of conflict for the pair to deal with. Not far away from where they'd fought the Boomers and tanks, the roadway stretched around a bend and then terminated in a cul-de-sac that was cluttered with broken science equipment and discarded piles of terminal parts. The roadway was ringed by metal walks right around the circular terminus, but beyond the narrow footpath, the ground transitioned into reflective, reinforced-looking glass panelling that showed a view down deep into the under-works of this particular part of the SciLab net.

More pressing on the immediate horizon was a Swordy virus, electrical sword humming, facing off against a Champy in the middle of the cul-de-sac. They had looked like they'd been about to fight, but when the two navis showed up they turned as one, suddenly unified. the sword-wielder lowered its blade towards WarriorMan, while the fist-fighter raised its dukes in Frio's direction.

To the sides of the circular space, two unstable-looking towers of junk rose higher than the other pieces of detritus, seemingly with some kind of internal scaffold upon which the broken key pads and forgotten monitors had been placed. At the very top of each, however, two viruses rotated slightly; Hardhead viruses with a frosty blue colour to them.

At the sound of new visitors, one of the piles at the back rumbled, and a trio of ratty poured out of it, squeaking, while on the other side, a lone bunny looked to be struggling to pull a green crystal out of the other pile with its ears. As they were taking this in, a metallic click behind them heralded what turned out to be a Billy virus dropping down to the street a short way back, and clashing its arm prongs together with a spark

-=Battle 3, Start!=-

As he reached the upcoming cul-de-sac, WarriorMan slowed himself down, and simply walked up. He assumed the other Navi would do something to that effect, and not go barreling straight into anything, but assuming anything with him was just...not really a good idea. "Congratulations, Lion Boy. You found garbage."

"Cyberjunk, huh? That's pretty cool, actually, since it's from THE SciLab. See anything we could use for props and stuff?"

"You tend to do more medieval stuff, so I doubt it-" The swordsman stopped himself, and instinctively took out his blade. And sure enough, the battle lust he sensed was coming from two viruses, a Swordy and a Champy. Swords vs. fists...interesting enough. But sadly for him, they decided to cooperate against Navis. That...was sorta insulting, in a way. "Seriously? You'd give up your chance to prove the path of the sword's might, just to try to bring down a Navi that fights by that same principle? You're no true swordsman, just another virus!"

"Um, harsh!"

"You'd think a knight-like virus would have higher standards than 'grr, crush Navi'. It's like an entire species existing just to disappoint me." Speaking of crush, his attention was momentarily drawn by two other viruses that were very good at smashing. "ColdHead?! ...Wait, those aren't tier 2 viruses. The future makes no sense sometimes."

"So at one time, ColdHeads and HardHeads were all part of a single family?"

"Yeah. HardHead, then ColdHead, then HotHead. So they've split, like Swordy."

"Swordy being all the same would be weird. There's like, five different kinds!"

"Nope. It was Normal, then Fire, then Aqua, then back to Normal for the strongest form."

"Really? No Elec or Wood? ...Although I always did think it was weird that LongSword, FireSword, and AquaSword were the only chips with pictures of Swordy on them..."

"That's why." Hmm? Something else coming from that pile...Ratty. And there was movement over by the other...Bunny. It was pulling at something, for some reason...wait, was that...? "Mystery Data. Avoid getting reckless in that part of the area." It did look sturdy enough to take a virus attack or two, at least. Not that they should let them. "...Gary. Sword. Now."

"Huh? Uh, sure!" One non-Swordy picture chip, coming up. "BattleChip, Sword! Slot in!"

The entirety of WarriorMan's blade turned a brilliant white, as he proceeded to...look over his shoulder. He had noticed the Billy's audible entrance...that was its' fatal mistake. With all the speed one would expect from a master swordsman, he spun on one foot to face it, and lunged forward, giving it a powerful uppercut slash for daring to think it could just show up behind them and not get promptly destroyed...actually, speaking of destroyed..."Oh, right. Lion Boy. Don't bother with shielding for now. The ColdHead can break through it...but also don't attack them just yet, if that's what you're thinking. They may look vulnerable now, but they're not. Wait for them to attack first, THEN strike."

"Okay, so that was all really educational, but I just got an idea. You were worried about someone accidentally destroying that Mystery Data...but if we take out that Bunny with a highly precise chip, there won't even be the temptation, right?"

"Fair point. I take it you have something in mind."

"Yup, this!" ...It was kinda weird to think of it as what it was called, though...WarriorMan certainly didn't use cannons. "BattleChip, Cannon! Slot in!"

The center of the swordsman's blade lost some of its luster, though it quickly returned even brighter than before. He placed his free hand near the tip, and pointed the wide side over at the electrical virus...and let the energy shoot out, quickly forming a ball of light energy, and rapidly speeding off at its intended target. As it did, he appreciated the fact that he'd been sent a chip that hit only one thing, and had no chance of hitting the Bunny, only to go through it and destroy the crystalized data as well. Kid was learning. Slowly, but he was learning.

Now he needed to do what he could to avoid getting slaughtered...he wasn't super sturdy at the moment, and if he tried blocking with his sword, he could well find it snapped in half. He'd have to resort to the other tried and true method of trying to get out of the way. Of course, since he was ready for anything, anything would need to be ready for his counterstrike of 'quickly getting over to the enemy, and giving them a good slice...wait, no. Didn't Ratty react badly to being weakened, but not deleted? Perhaps he should concentrate solely on evasion, instead...

"Thanks for the lesson SwordMan." Frio mocked his friend in similar fashion to how he's always being referred to as LionBoy. Frio knew there would be some attacks coming for the two of them even though the battle would naturally draw them apart. He had to be weary of the enemies attacks would be inccoming, so while WarriorMan went on a quick offensive, Frio took off quickly on all fours heading towards the junk pile that held the soon to be theirs mystery data, once he had closed a little bit of the space, he did a full on evasive leap to get him even closer to the pile.

All this movement was in hopes of lining up the center of the culfisac with the opposite junk pile. "Thanks for targeting my biggest threats... it seems you can be reasonable under that thick ego of yours, but It's my turn to attack. Layla send me the dragon again, I didn't get to see enough of it last time!"

"Right up." Layla still had the chip readily availbe from using it in the last battle. She obeyed, slotting it in with haste. "Make sure yall get me something good boys." She looked at Gary with a sllightly intimidating glare. "Thats for you to, make sure we get something good from that diamond again." The look of a thirsty treasure hunter loomed over her face, if he hand't fully realized yet... Layla could be somewhat of a princess that has a good bit of wants.

Back in the net, Frio recieved his data, and prepared to strike. Using the Champu as the center point for his aim, he held both of his hands together, forming a pot like shape, that the dragon would then launch forward erupting with a loud battle roar. The aquatic mythical beast ravaged the panels it made contact with immidatly turning them to water. It sped towards the Champu, hoping to swallow it and anything else in its path.

With their priorities set for the gleaming green crystal containing a potential payout, WarriorMan and Frio set out to control the battlefield, with WarriorMan immediately going for the Billy behind them before it could attack. The Swordy and Champu quickly went on a counteroffensive, teleporting in front of WarriorMan and Frio respectively. The Swordy struck with a horizontal slash, missing its primary target but clipping Frio with it, dealing amplified damage due to the electrical blade reacting with his elemental affinity. (-10x2-Elec)

The Champu then attacked with a one-two punch, but Frio managed to thankfully duck out of the way while heading for the junk pile with the Bunny. Speaking of the little springy rodent, its head was blown off with WarriorMan's energy ball attack. The Ratty decided to split their attacks two to one, launching their rat-eared missiles with two going to WarriorMan and one to Frio. However, Frio chose this time to unleash his AquaDragon attack, decimating the missiles meant for his comrade, as well as the Champu. One of the Ratty was also caught in the chip-summoned virus's rampage. Survivors included WarriorMan and the Swordy, who both managed to evade the dragon's wrath as it barely ended right in front of them.

Up on the precarious piles of junk, the ColdHeads decided to join the party as well, their mouths opening wide as a rumbling sound was emitted from them, possibly indicating the start of their attack--perhaps a good time for Frio to apply his comrade's teachings.

Ratton Missile: 30 HP
Knights were often regarded as having nerves of steel as well as armor of steel. That much was proven to be true in the cyberworld as well, as neither WarriorMan nor his Swordy adversary so much as budged as the WaterDragon went straight for them...only to fade right before it would have barreled into them. The former shook his head, seemingly unimpressed. "You know, I'm glad you suddenly have this really strong attack under your belt...but you could use a little work on its precision."

Wow. Gary actually looked a bit stunned at his Navi's remark. It wasn't the nicest thing he'd ever said, but it definitely lacked some of that edge he normally heaped onto everything that came out of his mouth.

"Here, let me give you a demonstration." The swordsman took a step forward, rearing back with his sword arm, and delivered a diagonal overhead slash with a blade that again glowed a brilliant light. Nothing fancy, nothing he hadn't done a thousand times in the past. But it was a reliable move, one that became super easy with all of the practice. Getting fancy here would be a great way to look like a moron by missing. Granted, nothing was 100% certain in the cyberworld, so maybe he'd look like an idiot anyway...

Less idioticly, he noted motion coming from the top of a couple of junk pillars. Aha. Just as he thought. "Looks like it's our chance to get rid of the ColdHead. Quick, we need to-"

"Already on it!" At last, he saw a chance to test out that new chip. It looked good, but until he saw it in action, it was a little hard to tell for sure. "BattleChip, Boomerang! Slot in!"

"What?! Wait-" Too late; at that point, his sword's light had already retreated inward, to allow for a new green energy to form around the blade. WarriorMan gave it a quick look, though, and allowed his momentarily stern look to soften. "Actually, never mind. This should work perfectly."

"Heh! Have a little faith!"

"Fine. Maybe 1% of it." But more than faith, he needed concentration, as he brought his sword back, and focused on his cold-hearted and cold-headed targets. ...And...there. The knight-like Navi horizontally slashed, causing the energy to be launched from his blade. Unlike most Navis, his version of Boomerang didn't involve a wooden implement being flung. If anything, it was more as a green rending of the air itself, albeit taking the shape of a spinning green blade. With surprising elegance for a first time attack, it arced around, attempting to knock the icy viruses off their vantage points by making them cease to exist. In the end, it came back, seeking the edge of the implement that fired it, at which point it would harmlessly dissipate into nothing.

That, however, was not the fate the Navi desired for himself. So long as Lion Boy kept up his end of the bargain, that would be checkmate...but why take chances? Best to keep his guard up and prepare for evasive maneuvers once more. Though, as long as certain circumstances remained the way they were, it was best to not prepare a counter as he did so. Just focus on not getting hit by electrical swords, ice cannonballs or rat-shaped bombs. ...Viruses were weird sometimes.

"You're always finding something to complain about. Let's finish these guys off and head further in the net." Frio replied, still focused in on the rodent viruses. "Send me something else please."

"Gotcha, Cannon battlechip in, download." Layla slotted in a chip at the request of her navi.

The leo's right hand started to glow with a white energy. He again took evasive movements, this time cautiously dashing towards the incoming rat missile, once it was close enough, he attempted to leap over it. Once he regained his footing, hopefully safely, Frio held his glowing hand towards the virus that had attacked him, unleashing the powerful cannon blast in retaliation. The energy left his palm and flew at immense speed hoping to completely eradicate the Ratty.

He didn't stop there though, because he chose to rush the second ratty with a frozen spike covered fist. As soon as the distance was closed between them, Frio jabbed the icicle spike towards the ground and hopfully into the second Ratty. If the hit landed, it would mean instant deletion by icy impalement.

An Icicle covers his closed fist as he punches at an enemy that will cause freeze effects on ice and snow terrain, and will change sea to ice, and freeze things underwater.
Electing to go for the closest enemy to him, WarriorMan struck out at the Swordy in front of him with an overhead slash, bisecting it before it had a chance to attack. Frio was more focused on his current predicament with the Ratton missile, hopping over it before decisively firing at its originator. He managed to land the shot, but not before the Ratty was able to eject another missile that went exploded directly on his legs, bringing him to critical levels. (-30)

The rumbling ColdHeads were now ready with their armaments, as they each fired upon the combatants with one icy cannonball each. While the cannonballs sailed through the air, WarriorMan received a Boomerang chip from his operator, imbuing his blade with a green energy. His retaliation sung through the air in the form of a green energy blade as he deftly avoided the cannonball directed towards him. The other stopped just short of where Frio was standing. As both of them impacted the ground, they fused into the ground to form small patches of ice. Unfortunately, the Boomerang attack WarriorMan dealt out sailed just over the blue turrets' heads, right before they clamped their mouths shut once again to defend themselves against further retaliatory attacks.

...Er. Did...did he just miss horribly? Okay, he could still save face. "...Guess I'm rusty with that sort of chip." Admittedly, even when at full power, ones that required a sort of throwing or catapulting motion weren't exactly his specialty. "Hmph, no excuses. This one's on me."

"Taking the blame is good an all, but now what? We don't have anything that can break a ColdHead's armor, do we?"

"Correct. WE don't. But THEY do." WarriorMan pointed with his free hand over at the lion Navi on low health. "Remember that jackhammer they used before? I'm guessing that kind of force can penetrate its defenses. I think his ice punch move could do it too."

"Well, that's all fine and good, but those attacks are close ranged, aren't they? And they're both waaaay on top of those unstable piles of junk. It'd be dangerous to even climb up, never mind trying to hit something on top..."

"Aren't we optimistic...ordinarily, you'd be right. But since I can't even harm them anyway, I can do...THIS!" The swordsman Navi suddenly bolted forward, almost as though he'd decided on going swimming. But he stopped short of the dragon-made pool, instead turning toward the junk pillar, and giving it a good slash of his sword. It would destroy it on contact, and send the ColdHead crashing back down to Cyberworld...well, unless he managed to miss spectacularly again. And now he just need to get to the other pillar, and repeat the process on it...like so. And there. Two viruses on the ground, no climbing or fancy maneuvers required.

...But now what? Since nothing he could do could harm them, or even prepare him anyway, he decided now was as good a time as any to taunt them. He reached over with his free hand, and knocked on the icy virus...or, if he'd somehow missed the fragile immobile target, give the pillar a good shake to try and rattle it. "Come on already! Open wide, so we can put an end to this!"

"...And exactly why are we antagonizing the virus...?" His Navi didn't seem to hear him, but Gary didn't care, and just shook his head at the whole scene.

After the last blow he received Frio had fallen too one knee. Not wanting to show that much weakness in front of his teammate, the lion forced himself to stand up properly, though being in a critical state had him panting heavily. He took a second to regain his composure while the swordsman went to work on the pillars. "Hmmmm how nice of you too make them easier too smash."

"Here, make sure you use this on yourself this time Frio." Layla slotted in their recovery chip to restore some his fighting energy, followed by the PileDriver1 chip.

A quick glow of white light bathed the aqua navi's body bringing back some of his lost health. Feeling invigorated, he dashed off toward the first of the hopfully fallen IronBody covered viruses. "Not so tough now when you're on our level." Once he was standing above it, he activated the second chip which brought forth the powerful jackhammer weapon. The spike of the hammer dropped fast towards the ColdHead, like a falling needle of deletion as long as it didn't miss it's target.

"Now, use this on the other one when it open's its mouth. Elecknife battlechip download."

The knife appeared in a burst of electricity that radiated from Frio's right hand. The glowing yellow blade glowed beautifully on the battlefield. Once the other ColdHead decided to open its mouth for the attack Frio would run in and attempt to slash it on its side hopefully bringing this battle to a fulfilling end.

[Icicle Punch] 1 TCD
With just the two high-perched hard-cased viruses remaining, and those having shut up shop for the moment, Frio took a moment to restore himself while his ally prepared the scene. Even if he couldn't directly delete these viruses right this instant, WarriorMan still had a good tactic in mind and swiftly cut down the two towers of junk that their enemies were atop.

As the piles fell, the two viruses crashed into the ground with a weight of force that made them feel like small meteorites hitting the ground, and they certainly created large indentations where they struck. Frio followed WarriorMan's set-up with his PileDriver chip, hammering through the outer casing of one of the downed ColdHeads and destroying it.

They were both, temporarily, out of arsenal for dealing with the other while it was closed up, but by this point it was the only virus left in the field, and they had seen enough of its actions to know that its behaviour was fairly predictable and predetermined. As such, both the warrior and the lion were able to take the extra moment they needed and get the jump on the virus when its mouth finally did open a few seconds later, falling on its exposed opening and cutting it apart before it could hope to fire at either of them.

Fractious as they might have been so far, the duo had shown a number of times now that their begrudging team work could be fairly effective when they played to each others' strengths. For now, the proof was in their spoils, and in the still intact crystal that they had earned the right to reclaim.

"Another victory, another prize. Good job there WarriorPal." Frio congratulated his friend before heading to collect their spoils.

In the real world, as usual, Layla was super excited to see what was contained inside the mysterious diamond. "Go open and see what's in it. Quick quick." She walked over to Gary's side of the table and set right beside him. The seat could barly contain them both due to her large bottom, there was no way their legs weren't touching side by side. "You think we will get something good this time."

Frio put his hand on the glowing green crystal signifying that he wanted to access it and it's potential rewards.

((YES))
"Well, that wasn't so hard." WarriorMan returned his sword to where it rested on his back, and folded his arms. "Oh, but remind me. What were you saying about me getting hit too much?" Not a single additional scratch on him, but the other Navi...well, he'd almost gotten into serious trouble. That should shut him up on that front for the time being.

"So! Now that that's over, how about you-ack!" Much to his surprise, Gary found himself scrunched up with Layla. They were touching side to side...nice. Enjoy the moment...uh-oh, no body, don't enjoy it THAT much..."What was I saying...oh, right, how about we claim the booty?" ...Smooth, Gary.

"Mmm? Oh, sure." Hand forward, access the data...huh. Chip data. "Incoming chip data alongside the cash. Data signature matches that of Bunny."

Uh-huh, ZapRing, money, all very interesting. "And now...?"

"Oh, relax. The Mystery Data's not going anywhere." If anything, that would happen after they opened it...ah well. The swordsman Navi approached the green crystal on the opposite side, put his hands forward, and started working on decrypting it. "Decoding now." Even during the seemingly menial task, however, he remained on edge. Better to be ready for a not battle than to not be ready for a battle.

(Opening GMD)
The Data unraveled safely, and offered two chips, one to each of them.

"A neat little hammer chip. Let's see if we can get some use out of it." Frio smiled, and sent the data to Layla.

"Thanks guys! More chips, more money, lets get more." She giggled. "I have a little time left before I should head home, what do you say we find one more battle before we call it a day?" The question was directed at Gary.

Before WarriorMan could speak up, the lion navi gave his own answer for the group, "That works for us. Let's go find some more fun."

((Requesting battle 4))
"...SnakeEgg? Yeesh, I'm surprised they still make these." Alleged rarity aside, WarriorMan shrugged as he transferred over the data. "I guess it's something, at least."

"Oh hey, that's pretty strong! But, uh, you really don't seem very excited about it, huh?"

"Maybe it's gotten better in 30 years, but in my day, you couldn't count on it. Plus, it's not exactly the kind of chip I specialize in."

"Yeah, you really don't seem like a snake person..." Well, obviously knights weren't very big into snakes. Maybe if it was a horse or something. Wait, the lady was talking, stop thinking and listen! "Well, I'm all for another battle with you! How about it, WarriorMan?"

Before the swordsman could respond, the other Navi was already raring to go. He let out another shrug as he sighed, though this time he bothered to move his arms defeatedly. "Do I even have a choice right now? Granted, why should I ever turn down a chance to hone my skills?" Both of those were rhetorical of course. "Come on, Lion Boy. Not like we've cleared out the whole area or anything...huh?" Hang on a sec. Without warning, he started to dig through the nearby junk pile with his hands.

"Uh, are you all right, WarriorMan?"

"I sense something in here. It's very faint, but...it's there." Just a little further...there. He pulled out an odd chunk, about the size of an plum. It was mostly spherical, though with small protrusions here and there, and was dark green in color. WarriorMan examined it, but after a moment, gave a confused frown. "I can feel something from it. Something...old. Even to me."

"Wow, it must really be from the early days of the net, then. So, uh...what is it, exactly?"

"I can't tell just from looking at it. I don't think I could analyze it, even if I wanted to. The coding is...well, ancient. It uses a programming language I've never seen."

"I think we oughta show it to Dad, then. Decoding's his specialty, after all."

"For once, you're talking sense. I'll transfer it to the PET, though...can't afford having it broken before we get a chance to find out what it is." And...poof. Weird data ball transferred. "There was one other thing about it, though. I couldn't place it at first, but that piece of junk was making me feel something."

"It was? How would junk make you feel anything?"

"I don't know. But I could feel it inside me...dread. Foreboding."

"I didn't even you were capable of feeling those things, honestly...to make someone like you feel like that...it's no random garbage, that's for sure."

"Yeah. If turns out to be something dangerous, your father can at least make sure SciLab contains it...then again, why would SciLab throw out something like that, anyway?" Bah. Asking questions no one could answer wasn't getting them anywhere. "Until your father analyzes it, there's no point in dwelling on it." Motioning to his busting partner to follow, WarriorMan started to run off, in pursuit of something to take his mind off the mystery he'd uncovered.

(Searching for Battle #4)
((+1 FXP))

After a brief exchange of words, the two busting partners took some extra time to sort out their own affairs and interests before moving on together in search of more things to practice their abilities on. The path they were on seemed to follow at least something of a trail through the high-tech landscape, but it wasn't long before they happened upon another group of viruses that seemed to be obstructing some kind of raised solar expanse that probably had a purpose outside of being a viral playground.

Visible on the upper section ahead of them, directly on the solar panels, another Boomer virus was already turning to face them after catching its boomerang from an idle throw. A typhoon was opposite it, and further back, roving about on the solar as well, a small beetank was making figure eights. More curious, in between the boomer and the typhoon, near the front edge of the raised solar panels, a large stone cube virus appeared to have a gunner affixed to its top.

Directly below it, on the ground level, a second cube and gunner looked to be in the same arrangement, along with a swordy, on the left, and protected after a fashion by an intimidating ElecOgre directly in front of it, between the cub and the two navis. As the duo were getting a look at this scene, a pinging sound from either side of them gave herald to a pair of PulseBulbs, rushing in suddenly from the sides and flanking Frio and WarriorMan with great speed. While the other viruses had only appeared to be mildly interested and only possibly hostile before, the arrival of the beeping PulseBulbs seemed to shake the all up into a far more aggressive stance.

-=Battle 4, Start!=-

Frio's body began to grow cold, and covered with frost as the devious duo approached their new competition. "Looks like that didn't take long huh. One... two... blah... blah.. Eleven." Frio counted the new enemies. The thin layer of ic finished covering the lions body as he prepared for his offensive. "I'll start is off this time!" He turned to the virus on his left, raised his first high behind his head, and jabbed forward in a speedy but wild manner. Half way between his swing and the target, his trademarked icicle swallowed his fist, as it flew towards the metal covered Pulsebulb, in a fashion similar to a flying dart flying towards the the bullseye on a dart-board. Would the frozen punch meet its target? Without fail, the attack would break the viruses armor and leave them with less enemies to deal with.

Upon finishing that attack, he would need to take evasive maneuvers hoping to avoid as many attacks that came his way as possible. The amount of enemies ensured a volly of attacks would be headed their way. "Show me something cool WarriorGuy."
