The frosty lion and the mighty warrior!

Finally. He was worse for wear, but the Satella that wouldn't let go of him had been let go...of its life. ...Okay, that was a terrible one-liner. WarriorMan shook his head at himself for thinking that, but the important thing was that he wasn't getting shot a million times every round. ...Well, except for the fact that Gunner was still around, and was capable of such. Ugh, this battle was really starting to take a toll on him, body and mind. "This battle has taken way too long."

"Don't worry, WarriorMan. It's been a long one, but the end is in sight!" Without wind constantly foiling close range attacks, or viruses that refused to stop attacking the same target over and over again, Gary could finally let out a small sigh of relief. Unfortunately, it still wasn't over yet. "Not much I can do for you now, but you've got this!"

As if on cue, the entirety of the Navi's blade began glowing again, as the earlier BattleChip data regained its stronghold over it. "Got that right. This battle ends here!" The swordsman Navi started to run, but upon reaching the end, he used the corner of the launch pad to jump and propel himself forward. It was a long jump, but his armor was designed more for mobility and show than raw defensive might...he was at the very least capable of making it. Which, in his mind, meant there was a 100% chance he'd pull it off, due to him being...well, himself. At least it meant no hesitation as he leapt. Just as importantly, there was a virus near his projected landing spot. Taking advantage of his forward momentum, he raised his sword above his head, and delivered an overhead attack as he landed, preferably halving the virus presence on the upper level in the process, and more than doubling the awesomeness presence.

Yet, the fact that it was the Billy that was nearer displeased WarriorMan. The one he really wanted gone was over on the other side. He...might he able to jump over there, but even he had to admit it was a much dicier proposition. He should probably take the long way. "I've been shot with enough bullets here that I could spit lead. Enjoy your last moments of existing!" This involved...running away from it. And running. Then a rather big U turn...and now he was finally able to approach it. There were a lot of ways a master swordsman could erase it from the Net in a single stroke, but he knew exactly how he wanted it to go. He continued racing towards it, not letting up...and as he got within sword's reach, he stabbed at it. If his aim was true, his blade would cleanly penetrate it between machine gun barrels, up and through the small gunman operating it. He wasn't sure which part of it he wanted to die in more agony, so he might as well go for a two for one deal. He pulled and removed his sword afterward (even if he somehow completely whiffed), hopefully to the sight of it exploding into nothing. Speaking of which, he'd take the opportunity to see how the other Navi was doing. Surely he could handle a single severely weakened virus. Right?...Right?

Forming a thin layer of protection around himself for precautionary measures, Frio prepared a snowball to throw towards the corrupted Prog that had been yelling in his ear for the past minute or so. Unfortunately, right before he finished the snowball, the Prog made its move first, yelling out another incomprehensible line. "OKAY, OKAY! EVERYONE'S FIRED! LET'S DECLARE BANKRUPTCY! YEEEEAH!" it screamed, before letting out another burst of electricity. However, the storm was largely ineffectual, as the Prog turned into a completely charred black color and fell over backwards before Frio could do anything to attack it. Anticlimactic, to say the least.

WarriorMan's struggle was at least a little more exciting, with his next target being the Billy. Striking at it with a leap of faith, he cleaved it in two before it could retaliate and deleted it in one clean move. The whirring sound of the Gunner winding up its machine gun from the other side was his next cue to move. Unlike its previous three-shot attacks, the machine gun was far less accurate, and thanks to his longer path of approach, he was able to avoid a fair bit of the nine-round salvo, though he still didn't come out of it completely unscathed. (5x3) That was the end of the line for the turret virus, though, as it, too, received the business end of WarriorMan's sword, deleting it in one strike.

With the battlefield now clear of enemies, they could take a closer look at the green crystal, should they choose to. Would they take the gamble...?

-=Launch Bay Look-outs=-
HandyHandy (Handy)

Handy Viruses attack by opening a dimensional gate below themselves, and dropping into it. The exit gate opens next to their destination, and they will rise out of it holding an explosive. This explosive is placed on an unbroken panel, and the Handy is free to move after. The use of gates does not count as teleporting, but can be used as a means of dodging as they attack. Gates are only used when attacking, and at no other time. Handy viruses will not set a new explosive until either a turn has passed, or they pass one action without setting a new bomb, whichever comes first. For more info on the bombs Handy viruses use, see below.

Area: SciLab, Yoka, Okuden Valley, Netopia, Hades Isle

HP: 80
Primary Attack Damage: 50 Null to all enemies after 2 turns
Primary Attack Accuracy: S
Primary Attack Description: Places a 100HP TimeBomb on the field, with a clearly visible digital timer on it. The bomb counts down for two turns, then explodes, dealing 50 damage to all enemies. If the bomb's HP is reduced to Zero before time expires, the bomb is harmlessly destroyed.
Secondary Attack Damage: 50 Null Counterattack + Blast2
Secondary Attack Accuracy: S
Secondary Attack Description: Places a 1HP DudBomb on the field, with a clearly visible digital X displayed on the side. The bomb remains on the field until the end of the turn after it was summoned, then self destructs harmlessly. If the DudBomb is attacked, it detonates whatever attacked it for 50 Null damage in a Blast2 area. This counterattack is indescriminate, and will trigger against the attacker no matter who or what it may be, without exception.
Element: Null.
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): TimeBomb1, Zenny
Special: This virus cannot attack unless there is at least 1 unbroken and unoccupied panel on the field for it to place bombs on.
: DELETED
WindBoxWindBox (Wind & Fan)

All viruses in this family are immobile during combat, with the exception of being able to turn to face any direction it wishes. Later versions of this virus may switch between Wind and Fan effects, which requires one action, during which time all wind or fan effects cease. Bonuses and penalties do not stack if multiples of the same virus family exist on the field. Wind and Fan do not push or pull Objects, only creatures.

Area: SciLab, Yoka, Beach, Sharo, Netfrica, Hades Isle

HP: 100
Attack Damage/Effect: Wind Effect, Northwind
Attack Accuracy: S
Attack Description: Causes a large scale gale of wind to blow across the entire field in the direction the virus is facing. This gale will constantly move all targets this virus considers to be enemies in the direction the wind is blowing, which makes it difficult to land many kinds of attacks on it and allied viruses, such as thrown attacks and close ranged attacks. All those affected by the wind will also have their barriers and auras blown off by a constant Northwind effect.
Element: None
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Wind, Zenny
Special: Causes short ranged attacks, such as (but not limited to) swords, melee attacks, and flame thrower style weapons, to suffer from a 30% accuracy penalty against targets they are being pushed away from. Both sides of the engagement suffer a 30% accuracy penalty with direct attacks perpendicular to the direction of the wind, and all thrown attacks.
Special: Those allied with this virus may opt to take advantage of the wind to increase movement speed or evasion by going with the wind. They do not suffer any penalties, however. Conversely, anyone may move along with the wind to increase accuracy by 10% for close ranged attacks, assuming the target is in that direction.
Special: Northwind effect to all enemies once per virus action while maintaining wind effect.
: DELETED
GunnerGunner (Gunner)

Gunners attack every action, if able. They don't bother attacking enemies they can't hit or enemies they can't damage, but they can select Objects as targets. Their accuracy with the machinegun attack is bad because it scatters everywhere. They are aware of this. They are also aware of the fact that their Vulcan attack pierces objects.

Area: SciLab, Kotobuki Town, Dentech

HP: 60
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: 5 Null + Spay Fire x 9 Shots
Primary Attack Accuracy: E
Primary Attack Description: Targets an enemy and sprays the area with twin machineguns.
Secondary Attack Damage/Effect: 5 Null + Spread1 x 3 Shots
Secondary Attack Accuracy: A
Secondary Attack Description: Targets and enemy and attacks with Vulcan.
Element: None
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Vulcan1, MachineGun1, Zenny
Special: Immobile.

DarkProgDarkProg (DarkProg)

DarkProgs are Mr. Progs cruelly corrupted and warped to become expendable soldiers. They appear mostly as normal Mr. Progs, but their face is much more darkly colored, and have glowing white eyes, as well as missing their left arm. They attack by emitting static around themselves. While they are fairly strong attackers, especially in groups, they have poor endurance, which is only exacerbated by the fact their attacks harm themselves. They very rarely dodge, but will often try to move close to the enemy before attacking.

Area: SciLab, Netopia, NAXA

HP: 60
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: 20 Elec + Nova 2
Primary Attack Accuracy: C
Primary Attack Description: Emits some of its life energy as a static field.
Secondary Attack Damage/Effect: Damage x 2, Self-Sacrifice x 2
Secondary Attack Accuracy: S
Secondary Attack Description: Charges up energy within itself. On its next turn, all of this virus's attacks deal +100% Source Damage, and deal twice as much damage to itself. This effect does not stack with itself.
Element: Elec
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): RingZap1 (Rare), Zenny
Special: ElecBody: This virus takes no damage from Elec elemental attacks.
Special: Self-Sacrifice: Every time this virus uses its Primary Attack, it loses 5 HP.
Special: Can use PanelGrab once.

BillyBilly (Billy)

Billy viruses move and dodge at average rates. They attack by shooting electricity from their lightning-rod-like arms, either in the form of a homing thunderball or a pair of lightning bolts. They cannot attack while moving.

Area: SciLab, Electown, Netopia

HP: 80
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: 15 Elec + Stun 1 + Homing
Primary Attack Accuracy: C
Primary Attack Description: Generates a Thunderball, and fires it at the enemy. The thunderball travels slowly, but it homes in on the target. Causes stun on contact
Secondary Attack Damage/Effect: 10 Elec + Seeking x 2 targets.
Secondary Accuracy: B
Secondary Description: Fires a lightning bolt from each lightning rod arm that pierces Invis. It cannot target the same enemy with both bolts.
Element: Elec
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Thunder1, ThunderBeam1 (Rare), Zenny

SatelliteSatellite (Satellite)

Area: Netopia, Sharo, NAXA

HP: 100
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: Trap(Enemy in Targeting Cursor) + Seeking: Movement (High-Alt) + Dodge + Lock-On + Nullify Invis
Primary Attack Accuracy: C
Primary Attack Description: Generates a targeting cursor that sweeps back and forth across the field, looking for a target. The cursor ignores decoys, objects, illusions, and invisibility. If the cursor intersects with an actual enemy, Lock-On is achieved, and the virus launches itself into the sky at High Altitude.
Secondary Attack Attack Damage/Effect: (3 Null + Seeking + Enhanced Accuracy) x 10 Shots
Secondary Attack Attack Accuracy: A
Secondary Attack Attack Description: When Lock-On is achieved, this virus fires a barrage of 10 highly accurate shots at its chosen target before landing in its original position. Accuracy debuffs on the Satellite while using this attack are reduced in severity by one rank.
Element: Null
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Lock-On1, Zenny
Special: Immobile outside of its primary attack.
Special: This virus will repeat its primary attack until it finds a target, after which it will be able to use its secondary attack once. When it changes targets, either of its own volition or its current target's death, or uses its Secondary Attack and lands in its original position, it must repeat its primary attack until it finds a new target.
Notes: Triggering invisibility or an illusion, or moving the Satellite forcefully after Lock-On is achieved does not allow a target to escape Lock-On. Lock-On is a shift in the Satellite's state, not a status inflicted on its target, and thus cannot be removed.

Open GMD? [Y/N]
About time. The battle might've taken far too long, but at least it was over. WarriorMan returned his sword to its normal location on his back, and let out a sigh. "Well, that was just sad. I think 6 to 2 speaks volumes about who's the better fighter, though."

"Well, yeah, that's kinda lopsided, buuuut...the important thing is, it's over. Besides, Frio at least took out WarriorMan Enemy #1."

"This time, anyway. Now that I know FireHit's a terrible idea for it, I can handle it, too." But for now, he had other business to attend to. To this effect, the swordsman Navi leapt from level to pad, to pad with a big green crystal on it. "Really hoping this is a legit one..." He took a moment to absorb his half of the reward data, sending it over to his operator.

Money total going up. Neat. Less neat was the idea of another fight immediately after that last one. "Well, we can always not chance it if you want."

"I didn't go through all that just to leave this thing there. ...Lion Boy, get up here already. It's gonna need two pairs of hands to open this one." Now he just needed to wait for him to get up there, and they could see just what they'd been fighting so hard to obtain.

(OPENING GMD)
Frio let out a sigh of relief as the battle came to a somewhat climatic close. He was about to go congratulate WarriorMan on a job well done, and maybe offer a handshake as a short celebration... that is until the icy lion heard the swordsman's smark remark about the workload. "Excuse me?" Frio questioned, "I know youre not bragging about your deletion count? I could have gotten more, if I had let you get deleted, or not focused on the WindBox."

"I think my navi has a small point here. He did heal WarriorMan earlier, and focused a good deal of attention on the fan." Layla interjected herself into the conversation. She wanted her navi's actions to get a little more recognition.

"I thought we were gonna be on the same page moving forward, but I guess not." Frio shrugged his shoulders, "Guess I'll have to do more work next time." Frio obeyed quickly making his way up to the large shiny green crystal that floated atop the middle launchpad. In the real world Layla's eyes got wide with anticipation of what it could hold. She surely hoped it was some loot compared to anything negative. Frio also placed his hand on the data, signifying that he wished to open it.

(Opening GMD)
With the power of the two Navis combined into decrypting the crystal, its exterior fell away to reveal its innermost contents, revealing...!

[GMD: Zenny!]
- WarriorMan GET: 1300z
- Frio GET: 1300z
Much to everyone's relief, the contents of the mystery data wasn't danger at all...but instead sweet, sweet money. "...Collected and sent."

Now THAT was a zenny total going up. "Aw yeah! Who's the m-wait, WarriorMan?"

"Yeah, I noticed. It's been that way since the battle ended." He looked down, at his now flashing emblem. "So, I guess I broke another of those ciphers?"

"Hearing any voices in your head this time?"

"No, actually. Guess there's one way to find out..." And, play. The NormalNavi hologram appeared once again, ready to exposit...

"The second cipher has been broken...WarriorMan, your heart has bonded with a Navi of the times, if only a little. Perhaps you are wondering why that matters...but first, I must tell you of your greatest ability, even more so than your reactive learning ability...the Armor System. It allows you to change your armor to adapt to the situation around you, bestowing upon you untold power. Some allow you to power up BattleChips, other focus on defense, mobility or even altering the virtual environment. And for each of these, you may become any element, or remain elementally unaffiliated. But I'm afraid I cannot allow this feature to be freely accessed. Though I do not believe you would do so, should your heart prove dark and drunk with power, you could cause unspeakable damage to the world. Instead, you must prove sincere intentions. Bond with many Navis of the world. This will unlock various armors that corelate to their abilities. For instance, the Navi you have bonded with already..." A moment passed, nothing being said. WarriorMan could tell he was being scanned by the program, though. "This Navi's powers will unlock the Tundra Armor, an Aqua elemental armor that allows you to freeze the very ground you walk. Yet it is but one of many...continue to foster this bond, or develop a new one. Once it is strong enough, you will be able to bear witness to the Armor System with your own eyes. But remember...despite your abilities and unparalleled sword skills, your greatest power comes from your heart. Do not forget this, and your full power will become your own once again."

The hologram vanished, leaving WarriorMan pondering it. "The Armor System...that explains why I look like a knight."

"What I noticed was...you unlocked that one by bonding with another Navi? So, you're warming up to Frio?"

"Doubt it." He looked over at the lion Navi. "Lion Boy's got a long way to go to back up his words." ...That said... "...Still, point taken. If you hadn't deleted the WindBox when you had, I would've been in deep trouble. So...thanks, I guess. But just because you helped me out once, doesn't mean you're an able fighter. Might've been a fluke. Might not have been. We'll know one way or the other soon enough."

"...Yeah, I think that's about as much as you're going to get. At least he thanked you, right?"

"...If you want me to do so again, do something else to deserve it. Understood?" That said, there was another matter he needed to deal with. "All right, jack me out."

"...Right now? After all that?"

"Trust me. I'm still going to battle with Lion Boy. I'd just rather do so in better shape."

"All right..." And, out. "Back in ya go! Jack in! WarriorMan, Execute!" And, in.

If Frio didn't do the same immediately, he'd see WarriorMan vanish in a beam of light, only to reappear at the base of the launch pad in another one a few seconds later. His arms were folded over his chest, looking up at him. He was probably expecting him to do the same.

(Jacked out, then in; but not searching yet!)
If this was a cartoon then Layla's eyes would have lit up like dollar signs and a loud 'CHACHING' noise would have sounded off in the background. Gary would have been able to tell that Layla was very much pleased with the reward just by looking at her beautiful smiling face. Frio did his best to act cool and collected, but he also shared a happy grin across his lips. Frio grabbed the zenny and sent it up to his operator, and was ready to move on towards the next obstacle if it wasn't for the hologram normal navi that seemingly popped up out of the blue.

The normal navi explained that the power of friendship would allow WarriorMan to gain even more power, the same was most likely true about Frio, as even if just a little he felt a little closer to the sword wielding navi. "Hey, why don't i have a cool little hologram like that?" He watched as the hologram finish its speech and vanish.

"Hmm jacking out wouldn't be such a bad idea, just to get a quick recovery in. Layla let's do the same." The lion followed the leader this time.

"You got it. Frio.EXE, Jack out!" She pulled the cord from the table, only to reattach the cord and send her navi right back into the net. "Frio.EXE, Jack in!"

Much like WarriorMan, Frio beamed up into the PET, and snowballed back down at the base of the launchpad. "Well should we get to moving?" He turned to the waiting swordsman.
"Because you're not me. That's why." That was the extent of the explanation WarriorMan was willing to give Frio as to why he had holograms popping out of him. He had no desire to share his life story.

Once back in, upon seeing that the other Navi had indeed followed his lead, nodded and turned around. "Yeah. Let's move on." And so he started moving, away from the depot. SciLab totally owed him one now.

(Searching for Battle #1...again)
The duo stepped off ready to embrace the dangers of SciLab had to offer this time around. "Let's do this!" Frio punched his left palm with his opposite fist. "Bring it on viruses!"

"Bring us more loot." Layla cheered from the ice cream shoppe.

(Searching for Battle #1... again)
[+2 FXP]

Restoring their health to full by returning to their PETs briefly, Frio and WarriorMan returned to the scene of the crime, and set out once more to find some viruses to hunt. They came across a large traffic circle-like gleaming roadway, with a glassy middle island. The roadway extended out in four ways outwards in each cardinal direction, with Frio and WarriorMan approaching from the southern end. Beneath the glass, a yellow planet-like virus hovered above some blank white paneling, surrounded by a storm of electrical sparks and assorted metal debris. From the other exits, a few other viruses also joined the fray. To their left, a grinning Eleball and serious-looking Champu approached the center, while to their right, a pair of Swordies wielding yellow blades joined in. Finally, from the farthest road, a cloaked Miner moved in with a huge shield-bearing IronShield to its side. They all seemed to be attracted to the planet virus in the middle, but strangely enough, Frio and WarriorMan themselves weren't affected as much.

-- Battle 1 Ready? Start!! --
The duo arrived to the new round about battlefield. Frio had encountered the majority of the viruses before, however the BigBang was new to him. His eyes traced each enemy as the lion tried to formulate his first plan of action. While he focused on the new obstacles a chilling frost began to cover his body providing him with a thin layer of protection that seemed to come in handy during the last battle.

"I think we should attack that Miner first. He could make your running a muck with the sword... unhealthy to say the least." Frio explained, unsure if WarriorMan had encountered this threat before. "I will fire a Cannon blast at it first then you follow up with something and finish it off."

He didn't even have to ask, on his statement Layla was already searching her folder for the battlechip. While she slotted it in and sent the data to her navi, she had a small look of disappointment on her face. "No mystery data this time." Her words came as a subtle pout. "Lets make quick work of these guys Gary, I want more loot."

The ice covered lion navi tapped into his newly given attack. He could feel the power surging through his right hand. Frio raised that hand up towards the northern exit directly ahead of them. The powerful blast exploded from his palm and blasted towards the floating Miner virus aiming to deal a solid blow if it connected. That attack would be it for now though, because he prepared to dodge on a moments notice when any of the viruses decided to come his way.

"...What?"

It wasn't too long a walk before the duo came across a rather odd looking...circle...thing. WarriorMan crossed his arms, looking upon it with great confusion. "What's even the purpose of that thing?"

"Well, those look like roads..."

"Not that. The glass in the middle. SciLab's not known for elaborate decoratives. So, why that, and why there? It makes no sense."

"I'unno. Maybe it's the break room and you're at the virtual version of their coffee maker?"

"I don't know what's sadder...your imagination, or the fact that I can't refute it....hmm?" Looked like something was in the glass...one he had to admit he wasn't familiar with. "And what on earth is that thing underneath it? Seems like a virus."

"PET calls it a BigBang. I dunno what it does, though."

"Those definitely weren't around 30 years ago, so neither do I. BigBang...some sort of explosion, maybe?" Actually, wait. Was it just him, or was it getting slightly...larger? "Hang on, why am I moving? ...Great, other viruses!" Just his luck, the other three sides . He removed his blade, reading it for combat.

"Hey, you are, aren't you?...Actually, wait, aren't the other viruses doing the same thing?"

"...You're right. We're all moving towards the middle." Which meant that whatever was causing it, was right in the middle. So, either it was some sort of gravitational experiment, or..."I guess that BigBang thing is the one doing it. So long as it doesn't blow us away, it shouldn't interfere with my swordplay."

"That's a relief. Just be careful, all right?"

"Obviously." Actually, come to think of it, when were there electrical Swordy? That was new, too. At least Floshell, Miney, Eleball, and Champy all looked familiar. And on that note..."Lion Boy. We need to focus on the Miney first. It-" The other Navi interrupted, actually catching the swordsman Navi off guard slightly with the fact he had the same idea. "...Right. And trust me, those mines hurt." Well, probably. They did back in the day, at least.

"Well, a Cannon's not going to be enough on its own." Woo, math. He could do it. "Wanna add one of our own?"

"No. I want FireHit."

...Oh, that was all he was going to say? All right then. "Oh, I get it. You're sore from it not working last time, and want to use it properly now! Gotcha! BattleChip, FireHit! Slot in!"

"...Actually, no." Well, sorta. It wasn't his main reason, though. His was a bit more...pragmatic. He watched as his sword lit up, turning orange from the fire energy forming within it. Once Frio did his thing, WarriorMan tilted it level with the ground, placed his free hand on the tip, and...whoosh! A fireball shot out from it, seeking the Miney's head. At least by waiting, he knew whether to adjust for the knockback. But his attack hadn't fully extinguished the flames in his blade. Turning left a bit, he focused, and flung a second fireball, this time at the very virus it was meant to copy. The irony was appreciated, but beyond its low HP it was just a coincidence that he targeted it.

More deliberate was him returning his blade to a vertical position, preparing to block an incoming strike. If he was going to potentially get hit, he might as well knock some sense into himself and his sword in the process. And now his plan was brought to fruition; he'd only used up the one chip from his operator. Minimalist yet productive. Hopefully.

The IronShield started off the attack by firing some explosive rounds up into the air towards the two. Fortunately, the bombs sailed over their heads and exploded harmlessly behind them. Frio and WarriorMan designated the Miner as their priority target and started a doubled long-ranged attack, with Frio taking out a Cannon against the Miner, and WarriorMan utilizing some FireHit-assisted fireball strikes against it and the Champu to the side. Unfortunately, Frio's aim was slightly off, and the shot barely missed the disk-holding virus as it sank into the ground, which it came back up without shortly after. WarriorMan's fireball was there to greet it, singing its bandages somewhat, but not quite enough to delete it completely.

The other viruses sprang into action, with the Swordies suddenly appearing in front of them, and the Eleball dashing up between both of them in a flash. The latter tilted its body slightly before it unleashed spinning balls of electricity around itself, dealing a minor amount of damage to both of the combatants, though thankfully Frio's icy casing managed to absorb the attack with no injury to him. "CRAP!" Frio complained as his cannon blast whiffed the Miner, allowing it to escape and plant a mine somewhere in the battlefield. The Elecball, and electric flavored Swordy viruses didn't give them any breathing room as all three invaded the duo's personal space. One of the viruses managed to deal a small amount of damage to WarriorMan, but Frio's shield was enough to protect him from the attack.

"Here, use this to attack that sword virus! PileDriver1, Shotgun! Slot in, download." Layla provided her navi with more support, this time giving him a powerful two step attack, followed by another ranged chip. "Use the Shotgun to finish off that Miner."

Frio wanted to try and destory the swordy that he was face to face with now before it had the opportunity to deal massive damage to the icy Navi. Not wasting any time to use the newly received chip, the lion activated its power summoning the jackhammer to his right hand. he gripped it and plunged forward for the initial attack. A second attack followed suit hoping to finish off the sword swinging enemy.

Being in slightly more danger then his ally, due to the weakness issue, Frio now jumped backwards in an attempt to dodge a counter attack that the opponents might send his way. He wasn't done though because the Miner was above ground and in his sights. "You got lucky last time, but not this time". Frio focused, while the jackhammer dispersed into junkdata. The power of the Shotgun chip swelled inside his right hand. Much like the Cannon blast, he held the open palm towards the floating enemiy and unleashed the quick powerful blast towards it.

[Ice Body] Ready next turn.

...If Lion Boy wanted to get himself some respect, he was doing a really, really bad job of it by constantly missing. He had to adjust for the Miney not moving as expected, and he STILL managed to hit the mark. What was his excuse? "Yeah. Good job there, chief." Karma managed to bite him, as while he managed to block the EleBall's orbiting spark well enough, there was a second where that came from, and managed to smack him. "Oof...that didn't even feel like electricity. More like a punch of some kind..."

"Yeah, the sparks looked pretty solid for electricity, didn't they? But I think that was a blessing in disguise...now they've come to you!"

"Heh, yeah. Doesn't matter how many mines get planted if I don't have to take a step!"

"Well, have fun showing them how close quarters combat really looks!" Seemed like they were on the same page here...direct sword usage coming up. "BattleChip, Sword! Slot in!"

As his blade was reinforced by the chip data, the swordsman Navi noted a small spark in his sword, alongside the fire and other forms of energy. ...It was a thing, at least. For now, the more important thing was using his sword and not looking at it. If someone extremely eagle eyed noticed, it was shining brighter than usual; he had taken a moment to grant it extra defensive properties, so that he could block as he attacked if needed. And for that attacking...he began by thrusting the tip forward, to penetrate the Swordy's inferior armor. ...Eh, really, Swordy was a cool virus. The armor, the sword, the elemental channeling...it wasn't really so different from him. He wouldn't mind one tagging along with him. It'd probably be better than Lion Boy. But not this one, seeing as how it was definitely hostile to him. It had to go. Maybe he'd luck out and it'd drop its chip. An electrical Swordy had to drop something he'd like.

For his next target, WarriorMan needed only look over at his side, to see the somewhat spherical virus between him and the tagalong kid. From the position of his finished thrust, he quickly spun around, his sword seeking electrical virus to cut in twain. It wasn't fancy; just a simple, reliable slash to bring it down in a single blow. With any luck, that'd wrap up the immediate threat, and let him refocus on the others. At the very least, that Floshell wasn't going to delete itself...and regardless, he couldn't let his guard down. Being able to block things mattered little if he didn't have his sword up to actually block it. His face was actually pretty bad at it, after all.

With both of them already in range, the Swordies started up the assault with a double horizontal strike, breaking through WarriorMan's shield and hitting him once (-10) as well as nicking Frio's armor slightly. In response, they received a double retaliation on the end of WarriorMan's sword and Frio's jackhammer. Unfortunately, Frio didn't manage to aim his jackhammer properly initially, and only skirted the knight's armor once towards the end, though at least he managed to push it away slightly.

Next to them, the Eleball was already preparing its attack once more, thundering electricity orbiting it to strike WarriorMan once in the side (-10), but just barely missing Frio as he jumped away. WarriorMan returned the favor by slicing it in half and destroying it immediately.

Far away at the opposite side of the field, the Miner sank once again into the ground with another landmine, only to be destroyed by Frio's Shotgun shell as it resurfaced, redeeming the lion knight slightly. Its comrade, the IronShield, fired two more bombs towards their side, but missed WarriorMan, only managing to produce a major crack in Frio's icy armor.

The Ice Body signature was really proving to be a blessing in disuse as it was protecting Frio from threatening attacks left and right, Though it was now shattered, Frio was on to better things. Finally getting a grasp on how the PileDriver1 chip worked, the lion would use it more wisely from now on. Having failed in defeating another virus in the eyes of his ally, it pained him to say this, "Here, slice and dice this one too. I got my eyes on the big fish across the pond."

By pond Frio meant glass, and by fish he meant the IronShield virus at the other side of the traffic circle. "You think you can manage that?" With out caring for a response Frio dashed off quickly but cautiously crossing the glass center that covered what seemed like a pretty nonthreatening virus. Once Frio made it to the other side, and he was in range it was time to attack. His right fist had already been prepped, as it was covered with the spiky icicle. With one powerful strike he punched towards the large shield covered virus in an attempt to deal massive damage with his signature attack.

Just in case WarriorMan wasn't able to finish the job, Frio turned back around and punched the ground hard. Lots of frosty spikes burst from the ground under where the remaining Swordy was or once was. "Have to make sure you know what you're doing over there." Frio yelled from across the battlefield still trying to look cool even though WarriorMan still carried more weight this battle.

2. [Icicle punch] - [Melee type] 60 aqua damage + Ice + Break (60 + 20 + 20 = 100). [2 TCD] Accuracy: B at IronShield
An Icicle covers his closed fist as he punches at an enemy that will cause freeze effects on ice and snow terrain, and will change sea to ice, and freeze things underwater.
3. [Tundra Spikes] -[Ground Type] 40 aqua damage + Ice (40 + 20 = 60). [1 TCD] Accuracy: B(A due to Pathfinder) at Swordy-E B
Frio uses his ability to bring forth a few thin frozen spikes from underneath an enemy, that will cause freeze effects on ice and snow terrain, and will change sea to ice, and freeze things underwater.
Unsurprisingly to WarriorMan, his busting partner blundered, resulting in him taking the punishment. "Tch, can I go just one turn without getting sparked, or slashed, or something?!"

"Hey, you ARE the one that's deleting most of them. Wouldn't it make sense that they'd get mad at you?"

"Not really what I meant...but whatever." At this point, they might as well ignore the BigBang down there, it was having a minimal impact. So, Floshell and Swordy. The former...he didn't recall all that well, due to being somewhat rare back in the day, but he did remember them being a pain. But, wait, he felt like he could remember something...oh, right. "I think...at least back when I was first created, penetrating attacks worked well on it."

"Penetrating? What do you mean?"

"Like, chips that wouldn't be stopped by the shield, and keep moving behind it."

"Oh, you mean like this?" Actually, they had a few chips like that, but the one Gary picked was one with an attacking Mettaur on it. "BattleChip, ShockWave! Slot in!"

As it received the second chip's data, the swordsman Navi's blade shone even brighter. Lion Boy commented about the 'big fish', but this didn't affect his plans at all. "Fine, I'll clean up the mess here. Just, don't get in the way of this." With that, he planted his sword into the floor, causing an energy wave to travel forward towards the turtle-like virus. Sure, it wouldn't actually affect it if he ran off into its path, but he at least wasn't so useless that he should actively try to get rid of him. If nothing else, he was at least getting rid of the viruses that made his life more difficult...eventually, anyway. Either way, his goal was it reaching the Floshell, going right past its shield, and hitting the virus itself.

Now, he needed to deal with the remaining foe before him. He knew he was in its range...and that gave WarriorMan an idea. He brought up his sword in front of him, using his ability to block with it to reinforce it a bit. It actually wasn't essential, but it made his plan as risk-free as possible. "Swordy-E? So Swordy don't even get stronger from their elements anymore? Ha! What a joke. Granted, for how cool you look, you guys were never big threats in the first place. Just, run up to the front, and slash. No style, and not much substance. Come to think of it, I did feel a tickle a minute ago. Was that you? Were you trying to cut me? That's adorable." Yep, get the virus nice and mad and focused on him...but if it tried to show off its sword skills, it'd find that he was more than ready to sidestep, and even use his own blade to guard if needed. And in the next moment, it'd find a real sword coming its way, to cleave it into two, probably not equal parts since it wasn't symmetrical anyway, and show it in its final instant just who the true master of the sword was.

As Frio charged to the front, the Swordy he had pushed away took the chance to attack him with a thrust of its electrical sword, though it had no luck trying to penetrate his armor, which finally shattered with the knight virus's attack. His fist smashed into the virus's shield, breaking through it without so much of a sweat, and dealing a relatively decent amount of damage to it, though not enough to exterminate it. The Swordy he had left behind wasn't to be ignored either, as he punched the ground and skewered it with his icicle spikes, deleting it in an instant.

Meanwhile, WarriorMan was complaining a bit more about his partner's shortcomings, but nonetheless prepared some support to aid his partner's assault. The Shockwave emitted from him planting his sword into the floor unfortunately went slightly off the mark, missing the IronShield's body by a hair to the side. However, he still had a second plan, raising his sword to block the attack that would doubtlessly come for him again. His intuition was true, and the IronShield's bombs came soaring out from the skies once again. Due to its proximity with Frio, that bomb was too far off its mark to hit, but the one coming for WarriorMan was parried successfully as he dashed forward into range across the glass, joining his comrade in dealing a blow to the bombadier virus. Unfortunately, his slashing attack was parried successfully by the virus's enormous shield, letting it live for another day.

BigBangBigBang (BigBang)

A large spherical virus designed like a planet with its surface reflecting its element (red = fire, blue = aqua, green = wood, yellow = elec, grey = null). They are circled by two loose chains of large rocks. All other viruses in the vicinity orbit the BigBang in a circular pattern, slightly improving their dodge (+1 rank). While Navis are completely unaffected by this gravitational effect, objects and certain "Other" chips may also become affected (not guaranteed). BigBangs attack passively by slamming their orbiting debris into their targets. The closer a navi gets, the more likely the success of this attack. Melee range would be rank A with a 1 rank drop in accuracy with each panel separating the virus and the navi. Limit 1 per group.

"looks like I beat you to it." Frio joked clapping his hands together a few times as if he was trying to shake imaginary dust off his fingers. He gave his teammate a quick look, and though he wasn't in terrible shape it was worth noting he had taken a few hits this battle. "I'm going to need you to stop getting hit as much. If you go down, I would hate to have to show you how its done. Layla send me the Recover30 again please."

"On the way." She quickly grabbed that chip, along with two others from her folder to send the lion navi. "Recover30, FireBurner1, ShockWave slot in! Download." The series of chips immediately transferred to the icy warrior, and he didn't wait to put them to use.

First he tapped into the power of the recovery chip and sent it WarriorMan's way, "Don't say I never did anything for you now." The energy would fully heal the swordsman, unless he managed to take another bomb from the Floshell. Then Frio's right hand began to glow with a red aura, he placed the open palm directly onto the virus's lowered shield. "Well heres to the first time using this chip." A powerful flamethrower shot forth hoping to penetrate the shield and further damage the bomb slinging enemy.

"You thought I was finished with ya huh?" Frio took a step backed and activated the final chip he was sent. The Mettaur's pickax materialized in his main hand. "Give me something good when I delete you okay." With confidence and speed he brought the pickax's point down to the solar panel under him unleashing the same wave like energy as his partner had did earlier, and it was headed to finish the IronShield off. Unless WarriorMan snuck in to steal the kill, or the attacks missed Frio would bring a satisfying end to the enemy.
