The frosty lion and the mighty warrior!

This is where his operator is.

Frio's snowball entrance was as extra as always. This time though, once the ball slammed against the ground, he clumsily rolled out of it onto some normal terrain. "Owwwww." He held his head for a moment. Suddenly remembering he needed to look strong, he hurriedly straighten himself out and awaited for his new friend... if you could call him that yet, to arrive. "Waiting on you bud." He said sarcastically. "You were in such a hurry earlier..."
WarriorMan's entry was a typical, no-frills beam of light. Upon fully forming, he looked up, and...well..."Pfft...hahahaha!!!"

"Uh, WarriorMan?"

"Oh man, I can't believe I'm teaming up with a stuffed animal...I mean, what's he gonna fight against? The monsters in my closet? Hahahaha!!!"

"That's just rude, man. C'mon, snap out of it, you're the one that came up with this idea in the first place!"

"Hey, I was expecting to team up with a Navi, not a giant plush doll. ...Fine, give me a sec to regain my composure...okay. Let's go...heh heh heh." Okay, he couldn't even look at the other 'Navi'...it was just going to set him off. "Ahem." And he rushed forward, in pursuit of foes that would get his mind off the fact he'd just teamed himself up with a living toy.

(Searching for Battle #1)
"You can laugh, and call me a stuffed animal all you want." Frio took a step towards his insult giver. One final time flexing his muscles. "Does a stuffed animal look this jacked? Im basically a chizled peice of art."

"You don't have to keep egging him on Frio. I think hes just trying to get under your skin. He's a little childish. Kind of like yourself." Layla pointed out. "Gary, your navi came up with this idea... can they even work together?"

"But why do I have to be childish?" The lion pouted for a second. "Fine, I'll show yall whos childish. Wheres the enemy?"

"So cute when you're being a baby." Layla giggled, getting her folder prepped for what was to come.

((Requesting battle 1))
Having had his fill of being roundly ridiculed by his supposed busting partner, Frio followed after WarriorMan's break-away run, and caught up to the other navi at the edge of what looked like a moderately sized loading dock and launch site. Solar lighting lined the floor and circled many of the smaller structures in the depressed dock, forming pathways that led to different ladders or to where, presumably, landing ships would disembark or unload from.

Frio and WarriorMan were in the lower section, a mostly flat bay comprised of metallic plating and solar paths, which had three raised hexagonal platforms in a line in the middle. the solar lines highlighted ladders on the left hand side of each platform, though a particularly acrobatic navi might be able to jump and scramble up, from the base of one to its top, if they tried. The two side platforms seemed to hold small launch-capable devices, with a multitude of small flashing lights, while the middle one served as the podium for a floating green crystal.

The dock also bore ladders at regular intervals around the sides, such that anyone standing near an edge would never have to run too far to find a ladder. They led to a raised section, forming an encompassing 'U' shape, which also seemed to have a number of apparatus for loading or unloading vehicles. At the right of the dock, on the upper level, a Billy virus made a corrupted, crackling sound, clinking the spikes of its arms together and pointing towards the newly arrived pair. To their left, one of the loading machines shifted and converted itself into a gun turret, complete with gunner, that began pointing towards them, while at the back a wind box clicked on and began to rev up.

On their own level, forward ant to their left in the lower loading bay, a Handy turned to face them, startled, then began to waggle its fingers as it decided how to act, while a small bunny poked its head out from the behind the central launch pad. Just as they were able to begin sizing up the battlefield, a shout from what looked like a small office room, on the right edge of the lower bay, alerted them to the presence of one more issue.

"MANDATORY BREAK TIME!! MANDATORY BREAK TIME!! CLEAR THE BAY AND DRINK COFFEE!!" The blaring shout heralded a very damaged and somewhat corrupted prog rushing towards them, from the office its one functional arm outstretched.

HandyHandy (Handy)

Handy Viruses attack by opening a dimensional gate below themselves, and dropping into it. The exit gate opens next to their destination, and they will rise out of it holding an explosive. This explosive is placed on an unbroken panel, and the Handy is free to move after. The use of gates does not count as teleporting, but can be used as a means of dodging as they attack. Gates are only used when attacking, and at no other time. Handy viruses will not set a new explosive until either a turn has passed, or they pass one action without setting a new bomb, whichever comes first. For more info on the bombs Handy viruses use, see below.

Area: SciLab, Yoka, Okuden Valley, Netopia, Hades Isle

HP: 80
Primary Attack Damage: 50 Null to all enemies after 2 turns
Primary Attack Accuracy: S
Primary Attack Description: Places a 100HP TimeBomb on the field, with a clearly visible digital timer on it. The bomb counts down for two turns, then explodes, dealing 50 damage to all enemies. If the bomb's HP is reduced to Zero before time expires, the bomb is harmlessly destroyed.
Secondary Attack Damage: 50 Null Counterattack + Blast2
Secondary Attack Accuracy: S
Secondary Attack Description: Places a 1HP DudBomb on the field, with a clearly visible digital X displayed on the side. The bomb remains on the field until the end of the turn after it was summoned, then self destructs harmlessly. If the DudBomb is attacked, it detonates whatever attacked it for 50 Null damage in a Blast2 area. This counterattack is indescriminate, and will trigger against the attacker no matter who or what it may be, without exception.
Element: Null.
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): TimeBomb1, Zenny
Special: This virus cannot attack unless there is at least 1 unbroken and unoccupied panel on the field for it to place bombs on.

WindBoxWindBox (Wind & Fan)

All viruses in this family are immobile during combat, with the exception of being able to turn to face any direction it wishes. Later versions of this virus may switch between Wind and Fan effects, which requires one action, during which time all wind or fan effects cease. Bonuses and penalties do not stack if multiples of the same virus family exist on the field. Wind and Fan do not push or pull Objects, only creatures.

Area: SciLab, Yoka, Beach, Sharo, Netfrica, Hades Isle

HP: 100
Attack Damage/Effect: Wind Effect, Northwind
Attack Accuracy: S
Attack Description: Causes a large scale gale of wind to blow across the entire field in the direction the virus is facing. This gale will constantly move all targets this virus considers to be enemies in the direction the wind is blowing, which makes it difficult to land many kinds of attacks on it and allied viruses, such as thrown attacks and close ranged attacks. All those affected by the wind will also have their barriers and auras blown off by a constant Northwind effect.
Element: None
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Wind, Zenny
Special: Causes short ranged attacks, such as (but not limited to) swords, melee attacks, and flame thrower style weapons, to suffer from a 30% accuracy penalty against targets they are being pushed away from. Both sides of the engagement suffer a 30% accuracy penalty with direct attacks perpendicular to the direction of the wind, and all thrown attacks.
Special: Those allied with this virus may opt to take advantage of the wind to increase movement speed or evasion by going with the wind. They do not suffer any penalties, however. Conversely, anyone may move along with the wind to increase accuracy by 10% for close ranged attacks, assuming the target is in that direction.
Special: Northwind effect to all enemies once per virus action while maintaining wind effect.

HP: 100
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: Trap(Enemy in Targeting Cursor) + Seeking: Movement (High-Alt) + Dodge + Lock-On + Nullify Invis
Primary Attack Accuracy: C
Primary Attack Description: Generates a targeting cursor that sweeps back and forth across the field, looking for a target. The cursor ignores decoys, objects, illusions, and invisibility. If the cursor intersects with an actual enemy, Lock-On is achieved, and the virus launches itself into the sky at High Altitude.
Secondary Attack Attack Damage/Effect: (3 Null + Seeking + Enhanced Accuracy) x 10 Shots
Secondary Attack Attack Accuracy: A
Secondary Attack Attack Description: When Lock-On is achieved, this virus fires a barrage of 10 highly accurate shots at its chosen target before landing in its original position. Accuracy debuffs on the Satellite while using this attack are reduced in severity by one rank.
Element: Null
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Lock-On1, Zenny
Special: Immobile outside of its primary attack.
Special: This virus will repeat its primary attack until it finds a target, after which it will be able to use its secondary attack once. When it changes targets, either of its own volition or its current target's death, or uses its Secondary Attack and lands in its original position, it must repeat its primary attack until it finds a new target.
Notes: Triggering invisibility or an illusion, or moving the Satellite forcefully after Lock-On is achieved does not allow a target to escape Lock-On. Lock-On is a shift in the Satellite's state, not a status inflicted on its target, and thus cannot be removed.

-=Battle 1, Start!=-

Gary shrugged at Layla's question, but did take a moment to ponder. "Eh...so long as he can keep up with WarriorMan, there shouldn't be any problems. If he's as strong as he's boasting, that shouldn't be too hard!"

"Oh, please. Like anyone could-" The swordsman Navi suddenly came to a grinding halt, having found...well, something. "Hmm? ...Looks like some sort of loading bay. Not every day a civilian Navi stumbles across one of these." Looked like there weren't any other Navis around, though. There were, however, some viruses, just waiting to-ugh, what WAS that noise? ...A Mr. Prog? Wait, something was off...yeah, that was not properly functioning. "Looks like we've got ourselves a fight."

"Yeesh, it's like the entire SciLab bestiary came out to greet you."

"Good, it might be vaguely challenging." WarriorMan reached back, grabbed his sword handle, and pointed the blade forward. "Question is, what to hit first...hmm?" The wind seemed kinda...fierce, for such a sterile area as SciLab. It was even making his ponytail sway...actually, it was making HIM sway. "...Oh, I see. There's a WindBox back there. Gimme something to handle it with."

"All righty! I'll just give you that chip I just bought-"

"Not that! If I go up to it, it'll just push me back and make me miss. I need something with distance. ...That FireHit should do nicely, since I can use it twice."

"Oh, I guess that makes sense...about the whole pushing you back thing. Well, you want it, you got it!" And, in it went. "BattleChip, FireHit! Slot in!"

The blade of his sword turned red, as it began emitting a fiery aura. "Hope you're not too flammable, lion boy. Things are about to heat up!" But first, he needed a clear shot. Luckily, the structures weren't TOO tall, so he should still have a decent shot. Just needed to step to the side so he wouldn't smash that Mystery Data to bits...perfect. Now he just had to focus, bring his sword up in front of him...and draw that fire out into a ball, and launch it at the giant fan. About a second later, a second, identical flame was shot out, with the same destination in mind. Too bad WindBoxes didn't have an off switch, it'd be easier that way. He'd have to settle for having a fair shot at destroying it.

"So, what now? You gonna try to block something so you can absorb its power?"

"Sounds about right." WarriorMan kept his sword in front of him, now for the more defensive purpose of blocking incoming moves. "All right Leo, let's see what you can do." ...Was that his name? Meh, didn't matter.

Layla's eyes lit up as she seen the green mystery data floating atop one of the platforms. "Gary, be a sweetie and make sure we get that would you." As she spoke, some melted ice cream dripped from her spoon, unintentionally landing right near the cleavage of her tank top. "My apologies." She blushed momentarily, quickly cleaning up the small mess with a napkin from the table.

On the battlefield, Frio watched his comrade, if you could call him that yet. His view showed WarriorMan send a volley of flying flaming fist towards the annoying wind box that was atop the loading zone structure. Frio had no choice but to slightly mimic part of WarriorMan's strategy, as the lion found himself face to face with five electric viruses, he was almost guaranteed deletion unless he walked with care and prioritized defense over reckless attacks.

"Going on the defensive eh?" Frio pointed out the obvious, "Well I will double up on that." He flexed once again, this time triggering his IceBody defense. The thin layer of frozen armor quickly covered his whole body. "Layla, send me that defense chip we gained from the statues please." He obviously knew the kind of danger that awaited him, if the elec viruses were to have their way. He had never layered his defenses before.

"Got it!" She replied as she flipped through her small folder. "UndrGuard1, downloading now." The chip was slotted in, giving her navi an extra layer of protection, under his casing.

"ini mini miny moe" Frio's finger bounced back and forth randomly pointing at the different enemies. "Catch a tiger by his toe... and you are it!" The aqua navi brought his little game of choice to a halt. "Send me something else, to deal with that Satellite virus." Pointing to one of the platforms.

"Will this Cannon do? Yea I think it'll do nicely." She answered her own question, again sending a chip to her partner.

Enough defense, it was time to attack. The leo accessed the chip data, and held his usual open palm towards the statinary target. With little to no hesitation he released a quick powerful blast that one would normally see from a CannonDumb virus. The attack was fairly accurate, and the target couldn't move, so unless his aim was terrible a good portion of the enemies hp should be chipped away by the blast. "Hows that for a little offense, defense mash up?" Frio asked his partner.

Facing down the array of quite varied viral denizens, Frio and WarriorMan both took a quick survey of the scene and reacted quickly. Frio, more aware of his particular weaknesses in this circumstance, took the first few moments to protect himself from the high amounts of damage he'd be otherwise likely to receive, while WarriorMan, in a slightly safer position, took to the offence ahead of him.

The blowing gale of the Windbox at the back of the bay made it hard to keep their positions stable, but it didn't seem to be bothering the pair of satellites that rapidly swept the area with their targeting beams as WarriorMan lined up and prepared to launch his burning projectiles towards the source of the gale. The sweeping beam from one satellite passed over the swordsman without locking on, but settled instead of Frio, painting a more detailed lock-on cross-hair on his form and beginning to vent small amounts of steam around its base, preparing to launch. Across the way, the other one swept in the opposite direction, failing to catch a proper bead on Frio, but finding a lock on WarriorMan instead, leaving both navis painted with targeting lights.

Despite this, WarriorMan fired his two fire balls, and they curled and twisted as they streaked upwards and across the launch bay. Between the fierce gale and some rotten luck, though, the two attacks crashed into the panels on either side of the mechanical fan, and neither managed to strike true. Amidst this annoying circumstance, the gunner, up above tilted its turret and looked over the two navis. With a viral grunt of irritation, it disregarded Frio's impervious hide and shot for the swordsman instead, with a wild-spraying barrage of machine fire. Only two of its tracer rounds were on target to him, and WarriorMan himself was easily able to deflect one of them with his blade, though the other winged him for a very paltry and minor amount of damage. Two more of the bullets ricocheted off the surrounds and grazed over Frio's back and shoulders, but they were stopped by his icy armour.

"STOP FIGHTING!! DRINK COFFEE!!" The damaged prog moved in closer to the pair, ignoring the rest of the viruses around them as it reached out. A large amount of electrical charge seemed to be growing inside it and glowing from the broken and corrupted parts of its body. It seemed like it might pop at any moment. While the Prog ignored the viruses, most of them were also paying no attention to its demands as well. The crackling Billy, across from the Gunner's position on the other side, looked down and lanced two electrical bolts down at them, one from each spike and destined for the two navis. The one aimed at WarriorMan went wide, diffusing into the panels, but the one directed to Frio stuck true, damaging his outer shell further.

Still relatively protected, the lion navi took a shot of his own, aiming for the Satellite that had targeted him and successfully managing to nail it with his cannon shot. The virus was thrown back, tumbling over the edge of its platform and out of sight, but unfortunately, despite hopes, the target lock remained firmly painted on Frio's chest and the sounds of it beginning its launch cycle continued to rev up, from behind the platform now. Worse, just as she released his shot, the Bunny peeking out from behind the central platforms picked its moment and darted out enough to launch a ring of buzzing electricity at him. It struck cleanly, but though the damage was absorbed by the remains of his barrier, a brief numbness filtered through his body as an after effect. Fortunately for Frio, the sensation faded away again swiftly as it diffused through his damage-resistant hide, leaving not ill effects behind.

Off to the side, at the back, the handy that had been silently observing the battle kick off, ducked into a black dimensional pocket and returned with a large, dangerous-looking time bomb, which it set down in clear sight of the pair, where they stood at the entrance. The display held a large, red number three on its, but as they watched, it clicked over, ticking down to two.

HP: 80
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: 15 Elec + Stun 1 + Homing
Primary Attack Accuracy: C
Primary Attack Description: Generates a Thunderball, and fires it at the enemy. The thunderball travels slowly, but it homes in on the target. Causes stun on contact
Secondary Attack Damage/Effect: 10 Elec + Seeking x 2 targets.
Secondary Accuracy: B
Secondary Description: Fires a lightning bolt from each lightning rod arm that pierces Invis. It cannot target the same enemy with both bolts.
Element: Elec
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Thunder1, ThunderBeam1 (Rare), Zenny

SatelliteSatellite (Satellite)

Area: Netopia, Sharo, NAXA

Frio took a moment and glanced at WarriorMan. A look of disappointment seeped from his face, as the two fireballs buzzed past their target. "Nice attempt buddy... next time, maybe try to hit the enemy?" The water navi spoke a little trash to his partner. "Let me show you how its done." In a flash the area underneath and around Frio began to freeze over, changing the terrain from metal to ice as his navi customizer program activated. Hopefully it didn't endanger him if it happened, but the lion would have loved for the sudden ice over to cause WarriorMan to slip.

The abnormal Mr.Prog had made his way into the duo's territory, and Frio was intent on making it regret that decision. "Look you rusty bucket of bolts! We don't want any coffee!" Much like the terrain, except a little spikier, Frio's fist froze over and was sent quickly towards the DarkProg in the form of a jab. If he the attack landed, they were sure to be free of at least one of their opponents. Weather or not the attack did hit, wouldn't effect Frio's next choice as the navi took a quick leap to the left in an attempt to avoid any incoming damage.

After landing, The lion would touch the ice with his right hand triggering his terrain ability. His goal? It was to switch the ice panel he was on, with the metal panel upon which the WindBox resided. Frio touched the ground again, except this time it was a punch. He now attempted the newest edition in his arsenal of attacks. Unless his aim was off, a few short frozen spikes would explode from the freshly switched ice underneath the annoying wind virus.

"Tch...it figures." As he raised his sword, WarriorMan shook his head at the fact his fireballs missed spectacularly. "I think I know why that backfired, but it's moot now..."

"Er, right..." Gary, meanwhile, was slightly distracted by dripping ice cream in certain places. "Heh, of course we're getting that Mystery Data! They have great stuff in them, after all!"

"You're lucky that wasn't important." What stung more was that lion boy took the chance to mock him. "Don't be a fool! Fist attacks are hampered by WindBox's wind, even when they're ranged!" ...Don't be a fool. Ha. Like that would happen.

Ping!

While he managed to successfully block a bullet with his sword, a second managed to land, though the swordsman Navi wasn't exactly in pain over it. More importantly, a bullet shaped bit of energy now resided in his sword. He could almost feel something in his mind start to materialize from that last deflection..."...Ugh, not the time to think about that. Sword moves are out as long as that stupid fan's on...I'll need to stick with ranged moves for now. FireHit may have screwed up, but I don't think our other ranged stuff should be affected..."

"Huh? Ranged stuff? Er, got it!" Let's see, RageClaw, nope. Sword, nope. But everything else looked good. "BattleChip, HeatShot! Slot in!...Try not to melt Frio!"

"If he's totally inept, I make no promises." ...Wait, did he just..."Progs don't have bolts, you idiot! They're programs, not robots!" Ugh. He was lucky HeatShot wasn't very strong, or he'd happily let that Satella take some pot shots at him for being so clueless. He raised his sword in front of him, placing his off hand's fingers on the tip...causing fire energy to form inside the blade, and shoot out of it as a fireball. By his reckoning, this one shouldn't be affected by the WindBox, though at the very least, it shouldn't be affected as much. And who knew, maybe the explosion trail would get something extra.

"Um...oh, that Bunny has low HP. With this, you should be able to take it out in one hit! BattleChip, Shotgun! Slot in!"

Good, his operator wasn't a complete idiot. For the moment, at least. Without altering his pose, he changed his direction so that the center of his blade now faced the odd rabbit-shaped virus. It was near the launch pad, but if his aim was true, it wouldn't matter. Actually, it wasn't that big a drop, so even if he did hit it, the second explosion should hit the Bunny, and the Mystery Data should be mostly safe. Probably. Still, better safe than sorry, so he tried to make sure he had his sword positioned just right...now, to draw out the chip's power. Light energy filled the blade, and quickly spilled out in ball form to rocket forward, preferably aimed straight at the pink virus. As soon as it hit something, it'd give off a small explosion, and send a second ball forward to try and strike something extra. He wasn't even going to question how that worked, though. So long as it benefitted him, he didn't care much.

Speaking of self-benefit, he needed to block another attack, and contribute more towards his learning system. He turned his blade vertical, keeping it trained between himself and prospective attacks. But, wait...did lion boy just make everything icy? That explained why his feet felt a little cold...not that he was very happy about it; that just made the electrical viruses more dangerous. He'd need to do something about it, pretty soon...

Refusing the clearly deranged Prog's offer of a drink, Frio covered the area about him and WarriorMan with a sheet of ice before he retaliated with a solid icy jab. Unfortunately, the gale being blown by the WindBox did not allow him to attack properly, and his fist went wide. Meanwhile, WarriorMan shot out a fireball from his own weapon, barely nailing the Satellite virus just as it shot itself up into the sky, as well as shooting down a Bunny that had been hiding behind one of the launch pads.

The viruses then started their counterattack, with the Satellite Prog nearest to the two unloading its charge with a loud "COFFEE TIIIIIME!" screech. The area around it was blanketed with electrical arcs. While Frio managed to avoid the attack, WarriorMan just barely managed to put up his sword to deflect the attack. Then, the bullets started flying all over the place, with the Satellite launching itself skyward and unloading its payload into WarriorMan's body (-3x9), and the Gunner firing three shots at Frio, whose body withstood the attack easily. The last one to attack -- the Billy virus, placed its arms close together before letting loose a ball of electricity, which lethargically hovered over to Frio. It drifted over his head somewhat slowly, but it was still moving back towards him.

Then, in a flash of inspiration, he swapped out the icy terrain underneath him over to the WindBox, before skewering it with an array of icicles. The attack was successful -- while the WindBox was still very much put together, its blades had frozen over, and would take a bit of time to thaw out.

The electricity harmlessly bounced off of WarriorMan's sword, but before he could even relax from it, he found himself pelted with gunfire from above. Unlike last time, he couldn't really shrug that one off. "Urgh!"

"...Ouch, that looked like it hurt. WarriorMan, you okay?"

"...I'm fine. I got careless, though...didn't even notice that Satella had tagged me." The swordsman Navi shook his head, but as he did, he noticed something. "Hmm? The wind stopped? So Lion Boy..." ...Nope, the WindBox was still there. It was, however, covered in ice. Good enough. "That's enough of an opening for me. Send me something ranged! I'll finish it before that melts!"

Okay, but...what? Unless he flung his sword, he didn't really see...oh, wait. He did have something that fit the bill. Math was hard. "This'll do the trick! BattleChip, Cannon! Slot in!"

WarriorMan raised his sword high, and a ball of light formed at the tip. He just needed to make sure that launch pad, and the goodies it contained, weren't in its path...all right, that should work. With a silent command, the sphere launched forward, seeking the source of the majority of his current woes, and deliver unto it judgement...namely, the judgement that it was a massive jerk of a virus, and needed to die.

But regardless of his success there, his partner in busting had given him a great gift...the gift of being able to do what he did best, without fear of gale force interfering. "Hmph, I've had more than enough magic swording. It's time to take the fight to these things!"

"Oh, right! The WindBox being frozen means it can't stop you! Well, have fun with it!" If nothing else, he got to sit back and relax for a minute now, free from the concerns of operatordom. "BattleChip, Sword! Slot in!"

The blade of the knight-like Navi's weapon gave off a radiant shine, a signal to all that the gloves were (metaphorically) coming off. He grinned menacingly at his soon to be targets, taking a moment to eye each of them. "Now, who's first?" The answer was obvious, however, as he noticed a very active time bomb. "I almost wanna just block that...who knows what a giant explosion would let me do? But I'm sure everyone would complain about that, so I'll play nice...come and get some!" Yet, despite what he said, the bomb was not his initial target. Instead, he dashed over to its creator, stopped himself right in front of it, and placed all of his momentum into his sword as he thrust forward at the giant hand, to wipe it out in a single stab. From that position, he simply swung wide, to strike the nearby explosive witohut expending a lot of effort. Except, wait..."Hang on. That thing has some endurance." ...Time to bring in the second string. "Lion Boy! Finish this bomb off for me, will you?"

"You know, you could be a little nicer when asking someone to do something..."

"Hey, if he wants to get blown up, by all means!"

"Not really my point..." Gary rubbed his head, and looked across the table. "Sorry, Layla. As you can tell, WarriorMan's...well, he's...kinda prickly. But if Frio gets rid of the TimeBomb, I'm sure he'll soften a little!" Very little. But WarriorMan liked not getting blown up, so surely it'd be good for something.

"You okay over there Mr. Swordsman?" Frio questioned his currently damaged friend. "Layla send me my recovery chip." His operator obeyed quickly uploading the chip that he requested. The aqua navi walked over to WarriorMan, and placed his right hand on the sword navi's right shoulder. "Don't say I never did anything for you." Frio activated the Recover30 battlechip hoping to help his busting comrade out for the time being.

Frio had gone virtually unscathed up until now but both his defenses had dropped off by now. "Good job at freezing that WindBox Frio. You handled that last array of attacks pretty well, but I'm gonna drop off some support this turn!" Layla proclaimed after sending the recovery chip. "Look at us were such a cohesive unit right now." She had a big smile on her face, finally wiping the ice cream from her chest.

"Oh don't worry, I'm sure Frio is enjoying himself." Layla responded to Gary and WarriorMan's request for the finish of the Timebomb issue. "Shockwave battlechip, download!" She sent another chip, this time it was more offense then defense.

"That should do just nicely!" Frio smirked, "Yea I'll finish off the bomb, but you owe me twice if I do!" He laughed dashing off so that he could line up the DarkProg for another attack. His main focus however was the Timebomb, if the shockwave managed to hit both it would be a much welcomed bonus. The pick ax materialized, and the lion brought it down forcefully upon the icy ground. The grounded wave headed towards the two targets.

[Tundra Spikes] ready next turn.
[IciclePunch] 1 TCD
Taking the initiative of the WindBox being frozen over, WarriorMan readied a Cannon charge in his sword and fired it at the hapless fan, only to slip slightly on the ice during the firing motion, causing the light sphere to miss by more than a foot. Meanwhile, his lion comrade provided him with some assistance by patching up a few of his accumulated wounds. (+30) Then, the two divided up their targets, with the primary target being the almost-exploded TimeBomb on the field. The viruses were shoring up their attacks as well, with the Handy warping into a hole and placing a second bomb next to its previous one-- except this one had an X on it. What could it mean?

They certainly wouldn't be able to ask the Handy itself, as WarriorMan took the fight to it personally and skewered it to deletion in one smooth movement. He also managed a quick slash at the older TimeBomb, which damaged it severely, but not quite enough to destroy it. The Satellite virus took this chance to pepper him with a few more bullets (3x8), while the Gunner and Billy focus their fire on Frio. Except the lion was much quicker, and evaded most of the Gunner's pinpoint Vulcan fire (5), and swerved out of the way of the Billy's balls of thunder. The original ThunderBall dissipated into thin air, while the next one slowly turned back around at him. He raised his newly formed pickaxe and let loose its shockwave, hitting both the corrupted Prog and the TimeBomb and destroying the latter.

"WOOOOOW! OKAY! BREAK TIME'S OVER! ALL HANDS MEETING!" the Prog exclaimed, as its body slumped forward and began to surround itself with electrical arcs.

There had to be immediate frustration swelling inside the warrior navi as his partner's ice caused him to miss by just a hair. Frio didn't act on apologies though, yet he attempted to show WarriorMan how it was done. "How many times are you gonna miss this stupid fan!" The lion was also becoming frustrated with the box though. He and his partner had both dedicated valuable time and effort towards taking it down. "Layla send me my Shotgun!" He commanded, once again punching the ground beneath him sending the icy spikes of freezing pain to sprout from the ground underneath the WindBox.

"You got it!" Layla looked had taken the last bite of her ice cream, licking the spoon generously before setting the empty bowl of sticky ice cream residue aside. She quickly located the chip, slotted it in, and sent her navi his request. "Hopefully we can finish of this WindBox here, because I'll be out of anything that would potentially finish it off." She looked over to Gary, "How is your folder looking over there?"

Having readied the chip, Frio locked on to his target. With his right palm stretched out in front of him, he took aim and fired of the the potential deathblow shot towards the stationary fan like virus. If both of his attacks succeeded in hitting the enemy then the duo of Frio, and WarriorMan would be able to move around a little more freely.

[IciclePunch] Ready next turn.
By now, it wasn't clear to WarriorMan which was more wounded: his body, or his pride. He was taking plenty of shots, and yet he couldn't hit a single WindBox with a chip it didn't affect. Except he knew why, based on the fact his stance was slightly off. The worst part? Lion Boy dared to act like it was his fault. "No. I can't believe it. There is NO WAY you're that dense. It's just impossible that you'd leave this ice here, then when I slip on it, act like it's my fault. I can't even register this. I'm done with this. Just...done."

"You can't leave now, WarriorMan! You're really going to go through all that fighting for nothing? What about the bay? You can't abandon it, you're a SciLab creation!"

"If SciLab wants it so bad, they can fix it themselves!" He turned around, back to everything...but stopped and looked back. As much as he hated to admit it, Gary was probably right about not abandoning this place. But with an idiot like HIM screwing him up, how could he possibly protect it? ...After a moment of thinking, he decided to give Lion Boy one last shot. If he brought down that WindBox, he could probably salvage things. But one more mistake, and he was out, at least for this battle, if not more. "Hmph. Don't blow it." He spoke more to himself than anyone else, but he ended up being loud enough that everyone could hear.

[Order of Turn:
---TURN SPLICE---
Backed into a corner by the increasing hinderance that the WindBox served to them, Frio opted to focus all of his offenses explicitly on eliminating it, punching the ground to release a stream of icy spikes before her operator slotted in the Shotgun to serve as a finisher. The combined force of the two attacks destroyed the windy virus completely this time around, and the blowing winds stopped. The attack was not without its cost, however, as the Thunderball hovering near him landed on his body just as he fired the Shotgun, causing a great deal of damage to him thanks to his affinity as well as the ice beneath his feet. (-45, Stun!) Fortunately, its destruction seemed to have briefly drawn the attention of most of the viruses, causing a momentary halt in their usual attacks -- now was the chance for the duo!

"Yay!" Layla sprang up in joy when her navi Frio succeeded in his mission to destroy the fan. "Did you see that Gary!" Though her happiness happened to be cut short by the thunderball attack that not only dealt a massive amount of damage, but also left him stunned in his tracks. Her smile turned to a frown, "That's not fair." Her words were directed at the viruses though they would obviously have no effect on them.

"Make sure you give them hell now that the wind is gone." Frio managed to say with a smile before he was struck, the attack filled his entire body with immense pain, preventing him from moving anymore for the time being.

Summary
3. Stunned

[IciclePunch] Ready next turn.
Almost to his surprise, WarriorMan could feel the harsh wind die down, as he saw the WindBox finally explode into nothingness. "Hmm. Seems you're good for something, after all."

"What he means to say is thanks, that makes things way easier!"

"No, what I meant to say was what I just said." Still, it was true that, with the fan destroyed at last, he could finally cut loose. "But now we can-" Having turned towards Lion Boy, he realized why he'd gone all quiet; he was now sparking, with the ball of electricity near him gone. "Tough break for you, Sparks. But now you can sit back and relax, because this is the part where I dice everything into unrecognizability!" That was a word, right? He said it, so it totally had to be.

"Right! Need anything to help with that? Because I've still got a couple of chips here."

"No. I have everything I need for now." His first target was the satellite above, as for some reason it STILL refused to release its targeting systems from him. So long as it existed, blocking wasn't a realistic option. But, there was the problem of him needing to get close enough to slice it apart...at least that was easily arranged. WarriorMan proceeded to do something he rarely did: returned his blade to his back while enemies still lurked about. He ran over to the proper launch pad, and quickly climbed up the ladder. He probably could have gotten up without it, but he wasn't wasting theatrics for something like this. He was too annoyed, and things were getting cut close enough as it was. And speaking of which, c'mon, drop down so he could delete you...

...There.

Once the Satella returned to the launch pad, it was go time. He reached back, and in one smooth motion, the swordsman Navi unleashed an overhead slash, straight from his back, and preferably into the virus. One the joys of having a weapon that didn't use a sheath of any kind. However, this dulled the light in the sword's blade, and retreated to the center of the weapon. He wasn't going to waste it here...he had other things to do after the satellite's destruction. But it was still far from depowered, and he demonstrated this with a quick three hit combo. From its position after the power attack, he horizontally cut, followed by another overhead slice, and finally, an uppercut slash, though despite the force behind it, he managed to keep himself on the ground. And that...should be the end of the other major headache, if his aim was as true as he was used to. Well, virus based headache, anyway. He still had an 'ally' to contend with.

With Frio incapacitated from the Billy's attack, it was up to WarriorMan to defy all odds and make his way across the harrowing battlefield to secure victory! The Gunner swiveled over to the swordsman as he clambered up the ladder as quickly as he could, unleashing its rapidfire machinegun mode onto his defenseless body. (-5x4) His crusade was not unrewarded, however, as the Satellite came down from its high perch to settle down on the platform -- right into range of his waiting sword. The Billy opposite the Gunner raised its arms to shoot a pair of lightning bolts at Frio and WarriorMan. The former bolt dealt a significant amount of damage to the lion Navi (-30), while the latter missed the swordsman by just a hair over his shoulder.

Next to Frio, who was still recuperating from the Billy's lightning bolt, the deranged Prog perked itself up, its body now surrounded by a powerful storm. "OKAY! MEETING'S OVER! EVERYONE'S FIRED!" it exclaimed, releasing the storm of electrical arcs around it -- to little effect, as the arcs somehow just barely whisked around Frio's immobile body, sparing him another painful frying experience. The Prog didn't seem so well off, though, as the excessive discharge seemed to have singed its body somewhat. Meanwhile, a nearby "bomb" collapsed in on itself silently into a pile of refuse.

SatelliteSatellite (Satellite)

Area: Netopia, Sharo, NAXA

B: DELETED
BunnyBunny (Bunny)

These effects cannot be removed except by Glitch. They attack by launching a ZapRing from their ears.

Frio's eyes closed tightly as another strong electric attack struck his body. No stranger to tough circumstances he quickly shook the pain off and prepared his next options. "Hey WarriorMan, focus on those two this little program is mine!" He yelled up to his partner in crime. A chilling frost like armor began to cover the lion navi's body giving him a thin layer of protection, just in case their enemies could amount a counter offensive.

"Do you want any chips?" Layla questioned her navi as he launched himself toward towards his target.

"No thanks, I'll finish this one on my own." He replied, bringing his right hand above his head like he was gonna pitch a baseball. Except this was no baseball and the DarkProg was no batter. A snow ball formed in his palm, as he followed through with his pitch and launched it towards his nearby target, the attack was weak, but surely it was just enough to finish off the wounded virus if it made contact.

Not wanting to get hit even with his defense back up, Frio kept his eyes up and was prepared to jump forwards if another attack came his way. "Let's see what ya got this time." His words were targeted at not just the other viruses, but also his teammate WarriorMan.
