Beginning of Viral Destruction!

((...This has got to be the shortest RP I've ever written...ever...Maybe because it's 1 AM >_<))

Navi looked around his surrounding, finding yet another group of vicious viruses in front of them. He was concerned about his own health as it was getting dangerously low, but it wasn't the best time to do so. Voulge pointed towards the Volcaners and began to instruct SplashLady, "I'll take care of them."

Ignis ran off as usual, seeing how the viruses' attacks could easily shred through his body, and left Licht and Voulge alone for the battle. "Let's go Licht. We go slow and steady this time." As the emerald SP dissolved into Voulge's leg armors, the navi lifted his right arm forward to gather the stones or debris around him. However, the amount gathered was much more than usual and the formation of the shield was different, reinforcing the once fragile shield into something more durable.

Now ready for the battle, Voulge headed straight towards the viruses...as if. The navi knew that attacking head on would be completely suicidal and needed to resort to safer strategies. But first, he pulled out the symmetrical cube from his brigandine and placed it gently on the ground. Tapping it lightly with the end of his blade, the cube began to shift from blue to red in a flickering manner, and Voulge left it to do its job.

After taking a single step from where he just stood, the navi disappeared in a blur and reappeared in the middle of the Volcaners. Even though Voulge's plan wasn't to attack them head on, this was actually part of his plan. He quickly lifted his Lancea up to his eye level and it transformed into a ceremonial flag spear when the flame completely covered it and dissipated along with the wind. "Explode!" Voulge literally struck the end of the spear through the ground and a huge blast of heat waves began to exude all over the place. The intensity of the heat was strong enough to have some effect on Voulge himself, but he had placed his concentration on this attack and shook off any weakness he was feeling.

What the navi was trying to do was to inflict a heavy sense of delusion for the viruses, powerful enough for them not to know who or what their real enemies are. With this, there was a chance that they might attack against their own allies and have them completely open for either Voulge's or SplashLady's next attack.

When the heat waves (hopefully) affected all the Volcaners surrounding him, the navi would simply slide away from where he stood with the help of Licht and the after-images created from the attack and see how the outcome will turn out to be. After gaining a good distance away, Voulge transformed the Lancea back to its original form and held onto it with both his hands, slowly heating the blade into a bright orange with ever-burning heat.

With not many options to go by, SplashLady went for a simple blast of water towards the first Spikey, deleting it instantly. Voulge, meanwhile, made his preparations as he made his shields with the rubble around him and took a cube from his brigandine, which flashed rapidly between the colors of red and blue before silently settling on the red, blasting every opponent with crimson light. Moving along, Splash initiated a double WideShot attack towards the Spikey, smashing through their formation like Swiss cheese, even managing to hit one unsuspecting Spikey. Voulge, meanwhile, took to the Volcaners and initiating a heatwave towards them, stopping any sign of them attacking as they fought to shake off the heat, blasting bombs in random directions, some even hitting themselves. Luckily, Voulge was able to dodge these as well with Licht's assistance.

Now, the Spikeys and Weathers were quite mad at this attack, and began their combined attacks. The Spikeys let off a blast of heat towards Voulge, who was in the Volcaner pack. Unfortunately, they didn't count on hitting Voulge's afterimages, which paved the road to hurt for the Volcaners. The Weathers, meanwhile, concentrated on getting their attacks to hit SplashLady. Their combined force managed to hit SplashLady a couple of times, damaging her quite significantly!! (80) (80x2Elec) It also changed the ground into some electrical and icy terrain.

Not one to quit, SplashLady rained watery hell upon the remaining Spikey, deleting another Spikey and damaging the other significantly! Meanwhile, Voulge was bolstering his strength, preparing for another attack. Finally, SplashLady summoned the Totem statue, which blasted fire towards the last Spikey, erasing it from existence.

The Wingers then took to the skies, leaving the poor confused Volcaners to fend for themselves.

Looking up at the Wingers soaring straight into the sky, Voulge clicked his tongue in frustration and looked down at the Volcaners around him. Before he was about to take advantage over the confused enemies, he caught the glimpse of SplashLady heavily wounded by the evading Wingers, and immediately became concerned for the navi. "Splash! Hang in there!" Though he would very much like to aid the navi, he lacked any sort of supportive or restorative chips or powers to really help her out. "Quickly Ignis, hit that Totem by the side line!" Marius instructed the SP towards the wooden totem set by SplashLady and Voulge realized what his operator was trying to do. "Hurry up!"

Ignis slowly lifted away from his hiding spot, swerving left and right to see if the coast was clear. "Err...Are you sure you want me to hit it? I mean, nothings goin-" "Just do it!" As Voulge's shout vibrated through the net, Ignis flew straight out and towards the Totem in fear. With its spiky top facing forward, the SP smacked his body right up against the totem with a loud *THUMP*, and immediately retreated back to his hiding spot. Marius and Voulge hopped that damaging the object would hopefully flip its face around and turn into its supportive mode, mending part of SplashLady's wounds before any further damage could be done.

Even though the blade of the Lancea was super heated, Voulge still planned to save the extra power for the Wingers and finish off the Volcaners with his regular attacks. He swung his blade diagonally, transforming the weapon into a War Scythe in mid-swing, and created a clean cut through the ground as the length of the blade extended. The navi directed the blade towards Volcaner on the far right and began to dash madly towards the virus, causing the lights to reflect all over the place due to the mirror-shine property of the War Scythe. After the navi got closer to the target virus, he leapt up and brought the spear over his head. "STEAL!" In a blink of an eye, Voulge already landed and the blade was easily lodged into the ground with its incredible sharpness. With closer inspection, the blade was slowly eating away the terrain itself, but not to the point where it was obvious. The silver blade had a special property that eats away any sort of data that it meets with and it especially reacts with living datas such as navis and viruses. If this attack made a full damage onto the Volcaner, the absorbed data would be transferred to Voulge and treat few of his wounds in an instant.

"Sending in the first chip!"

Not stopping there, Voulge pulled his spear and began to rapidly slash the ground, causing two pillars of stone to slowly slide up from the ground and hover around the spear. The Lancea transformed into a giant glaive like the last time he used this chip, but this time his mobility wasn't too much of an issue. Soon after the transformation was complete, Licht began to spew out its emerald flames like a rocket and began to lift Voulge up and began to float around and around the viruses. Voulge had his eyes steadily locked towards the remaining Volcaners and sought out the best spot and timing to attack with his GolemHit. Patiently waiting till the time was right; the navi immediately went for the strike when the chance was given. The spear was lifted over his head once more, raising the two giant rocks along with the glaive, and brought an earth-shattering force straight down onto the viruses.

By this time, Voulge needed to be cautious and prepare for any retaliation the viruses would have in store for him. The navi brought up his palm forward and reconstructed the shield from scratch, whether it was broken or unharmed, hoping that it would keep away any further damage onto the navi's already wounded body.

After the shield was formed, Voulge pulled out three gray daggers from his brigandine and slid them out like a fan. These daggers weren't like the oil-soaked ones like before, but the blade and even the design of the handle was very aerodynamic and already exuded a feeling a speed and lethality. With a flick of the wrist, the daggers flew to different directions and targets with a screeching howl. There was nothing more Voulge would do from now as he relied upon SplashLady to take care of the rest.

"Are they all gone now?" Questioned the hiding SP.

Voulge was still on his guard and looked up at where the Wingers escaped to. "Not yet. We still need to take care of them" The navi began to prepare for the virus' coming as the Lancea bursted into flames and transformed into a steam-punk styled gunlance, quickly loading a crimson red bullet into the chamber. Voulge grabbed onto a nob on the weapon's side and pulled it a few times to get the back engine to get started and charge up an extra shot. As he was doing so, Licht acted upon Voulge's mental command and began to carry himself and Voulge right were the viruses were standing, allowing the navi to stick the bayonet of the gunlance into the ground and transform a large amount of the terrain into a lava. With this, it would give Voulge a place to escape to as he could dive in without a problem, and give SplashLady's water based attack a boost of damage.

Now...All Voulge could do was wait.

Heh, the Spikey were really dropping like flies to her water attacks. She just had to beat the last couple, and then she could help out Voulge with those Volcaner. ...Wait, what was the crackling noise, and why was it getting louder really quickly?

BZZT. "WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Electricity suddenly coursed through SplashLady's body, which did little more than conduct the energy to inflict even more damage. Upon the attack's completion, she barely had the will to stand through the pain, and fell onto her knees, slumped over. The subsequent Aqua and Fire attacks didn't need her direct input, but she didn't even have the strength to speak, much less direct further assaults.

Fortunately, she didn't have to, since the sight of their Navi falling to the ground from exhaustion would make nearly any operator reach for their recovery chips. Sabrina was no exception, but she grabbed an additional chip for further safety. "Battlechip, Recover120! Battlechip, FastGauge! Double slot in!"

The mermaid Navi glowed with energy, as her body was partially healed, and subsequently artificially lightened. Now more than ready to continue, she leaped up in one smooth motion, and started to shake her head vigorously. "That was way too close..."

"SplashLady! Are you okay?" The Netopian girl's voice was uncharacteristically filled with worry, and even had a slight waver to it. "I didn't know they could use Elec attacks...I'm sorry!"

"I don't think any of us knew...at any rate, I'm okay for now, so don't feel bad. What's important is that we help work on those volcano things now! But first..." The Aqua Navi's free arm transformed into a generic buster gun, which she pointed towards...her own Totem? However, it proved to be for naught, as her ally's SP slammed into the object, resulting in it changing tactics automatically. "...Or not. Thanks, you guys! I really owe you one!"

"Oh sure, I heal you and make you faster, and they get all the thanks...well, I'm just kidding, of course. Now, let's ease you back into attacking!" Time for some more Aqua induced fury...or at least whatever it took to delete some Volcaner. "Battlechip, Bubbler! Double slot in!"

SplashLady's spear tip began to transform, and becoming a hose nozzle in the span of a second or two. She grabbed the weapon with both hands, holding it over towards the lava spewing viruses like a perfectly ordinary hose. Unlike a perfectly ordinary hose, however, it blasted forth not regular water, but bubbles, which sailed in the direction of the Volcaner to try an douse them with Aqua power. Each pair got their own taste of the suds, as the mermaid Navi changed back to her ordinary spearhead, and began to crouch slightly, preparing for any attack that might get launched at her, be they Fire, Elec, or something completely different. Moreso Elec, however, as she was pretty confident in Voulge's ability to turn the flame viruses into nothing more than red hot goo.

Doing everything they could to heal SplashLady, Voulge ordered Ignis to hit the Totem, forcing it to switch to recovery mode, healing SplashLady in addition to Sabrina's Recover120. Then, Voulge made a slice for a Volcaner, damaging it to critical levels and healing him for a bit. SplashLady had her speed boosted just as some of the Volcaners finally broke through Voulge's heat wave. Voulge then attacked with earth-shattering force, deleting two of the volcano viruses in one shot. The remaining Volcaner that was fit to attack tried firing a lava bomb at Splash, assuming it as a greater Aqua threat, but missed. Afterwards, SplashLady's Bubblers and Voulge's Kunais deleted the remaining Volcaners. Voulge then made a lava pool beneath the Wingers' landing area.

The Wingers returned from their hiding spot from up there, and prepared themselves for an onslaught.

When the Wingers came, Voulge was already prepared for the battle as the gunlance on his hand began to rumble uncontrollably. "Foolish move!" The weapon gave out a loud click and the barrel began to lit up in the same heated orange as before. Voulge held the weapon under his right arm and carefully adjusted the aim with his left, simultaneously firing three fireballs towards the three Wingers.

The weapon transformed from the gunlance into a golden trident along with a large metal net in just seconds, allowing Voulge to prepare for his next attack. The navi disappeared like a hazy mirage and appeared besides the next three Wingers. The metal net was thrown at the virus in front of him and held the trident like a javeling, also powering it with the heated glow and altered the blade's shape into something much more effective, and threw it straight through the Wingers.

Voulge moved away from where he stood and retrieved his Lancea with a tug of the chain, immediately forming it into its original shape with a little extra twist. The blade was altered into something much longer and vicious with the help of the altering power and it immediately lit aflame, providing an extra power behind the weapon. With a single wide slash, it sent a flying blade of flame right at the remaining viruses.

So much for any volcano-related threats. Now for the real problem...those puppet things that breathed electricity. Just seeing them hoving at eye level made SplashLady grimace, the zapping from earlier still firmly entrenched in her memory. She'd rather Voulge handle them, but that just wasn't going to be an option. Couldn't leave him high and dry like that...or would it be wet in this case? With a shrug, she transformed her left arm into a generic buster cannon, took aim, and let loose with a quick shot...at her own Totem. She wouldn't get the healing, but that fire should be enough to help out. "I don't think Voulge can't handle it, Sabrina, but you think we could help out, anyway?"

"Of course! But not too much, since I don't really want you getting hit by that again..." Just a couple of chips...a couple of good, reliable chips, that could combine with molten lava to completely destroy whatever happened to be right above them. "This should work! Battlechip, WideShot! Double slot in!"

Deciding on a more traditional approach to the attack, the mermaid Navi created a wide-mouthed gun on her arm, over where her buster had been. No need to cut the air this time...she need only position the water blaster towards a trio of Winger, trigger it to launch an aquatic assault, and...sploosh, instant WideShot fire, sailing across the battlefield towards the enemies. And since using it was so much fun, a second aqua blast coursed over towards some puppets, capable of just as much destruction as the original. "All right, what's next?"

And then, Sabrina chose to respond...by being horizontal on her bed, hands nowhere near her remaining chips. "And now, you make sure you don't have thousands of volts of electricity course through your body. Simple enough, right?"

"Yeah..." Well, she couldn't just do nothing, and her sigs would be danger to her allies if they tried to get in close...so if her operator was done, there wasn't much she else she could do. Crouching slightly to assume an evasive pose...again...SplashLady prepared for emergency dodging, just in case.

SplashLady hit the Totem to switch it to Attack Mode, which then let loose a fiery breath towards the Wingers, deleting two more. Now, the Wingers were mad, and started blasting ice and electricity everywhere, some hitting Voulge's shield and some barely missing SplashLady. Then, SplashLady hit the remaining Wingers with a Wideshot and Voulge finished them off with his yo-yo of DOOM attack.

Cue dramatic viral explosions and victory fanfare.

Congratulations! SplashLady and Voulge are now able to Cross!
Voulge quickly picked up the rewards from the defeated enemies and holstered his Lancea onto his back. "Silence again..." The navi looked around the net once more, seeing the serene environment (minus the lava, magnet, ice, broken panels beneath him) and reminded himself about the quick conversation before with SplashLady. Looking back at his companion navi, Voulge soon realized how much he came to trust and rely on her in such short period of time. Trust...something that Voulge wasn't too fond of before was now alleviated and gave birth to something new inside the spearman!

"The next battle might be something far more tougher than the viruses we fought before...Lets be on our guard and move on."

-BOSS BATTLE, READY!-
And that was that...another virus gang quickly and (relatively) efficiently manhandled. After sending forth enough cash to swim in over to her operator, SplashLady looked over towards Voulge, who appeared to be doing the same. It was kind of odd...even though they hadn't been fighting for very long, she could feel it...the bond two Navis got by fighting together. Rogue Net was definitely a tough place, but together they'd been able to handle everything without overwhelming difficulty. Yep, she was definitely interested in seeing how far they'd go...

And then it happened. Even though the Navi didn't notice it, Sabrina saw it as soon as it formed. "SplashLady...what's going on?"

"Huh? What do you mean, what's going on? We're taking a breather before we keep going. I mean, chances are the next fight's going to be even tougher. We should be totally focused going into it, right?" The mermaid didn't see it all...the red fire that completely surrounded here.

"Y-Yeah...you're okay? Nothing weird?"

"Nope. I'm fine!" And just like that, the flames enveloping her vanished. "Any reason you ask?"

"Uh..." Eh? Something was coming up on the PET...another Navi's emblem? It looked a little familiar...

"VOULGECROSS ACQUIRED!"

Huh...that was probably what that fire was. Weird way to show you got a cross, though..."...No, it's nothing. Keep going!"

"If you say so. C'mon Voulge, let's keep it up!" And so, the pair of Navis ventured deeper into the Net, in search of things to erase from existance.

(Battle #5...NOW FORTIFIED WITH CROSSES)
After walking through the Netfrican net for a good distance, Voulge and Splash didn't encounter a single virus or anything resembling it at all. Suspecting that this may go on for a good length, the spearman turned towards SplashLady, "Should we take another short break?" It wasn't that Voulge needed one, most of his wounds was treated last time. But the navi tried to think of something to pass the time before the next battle.

"If you don't mind me asking..." And there was a question on the navi's mind. "I remember hearing from another navi, SummonerMan specifically...That you have two specific 'forms'?"

((Still Ready for battle...I guess. Trying to milk out as much FXP as possible))
Well, this was turning into a waste of time. Surely there had to be SOMETHING left to fight...aside from not being at full HP. Speaking of which..."Hey, Sabrina. Think you can send over some more healing? I mean, I can manage as is, but having some extra HP wouldn't hurt..."

"Oh, that's right! I was going to send you one earlier, but I guess I forgot. Here!" And thus did the operator heal 50 of her Navi's HP. "Sure is taking a while to find something..."

"Yeah, tell me about it." And then, a question. OF DOOM. FROM VOULGE. ...Well, it was a question from Voulge, at least. "Well...it's a little hard to explain, but form isn't really what you'd call it. I'm more like a twin, I'd say." A twin that didn't appear until over a year after the first, but details, details. "But, it's weird, because only one of us can be active at one time. The other just hangs out in Sabrina's PET, on standby. We have the same abilities and stuff for the most part, but I'm the only one that can use crosses. Not really sure why, though." A moment passed as she allowed her fiery companion to process everything. "Too bad you can't meet SplashMan, though. We can only switch while we're jacked out, so I guess you're stuck with me while we're here!"

And speaking of here, nothing yet to be found. She wasn't familiar with being this far in Rogue Nets, but it still struck her as odd. "Ugh, it's too quiet, especially since we've been moving the whole time...I dunno about you, but it's starting to creep me out a little..."

(STILL READY FOR BATTLE 5, BUT NOW WITH 50 EXTRA HP)
[reserved for modding. you two can keep talking if you want.]
((That I will~))

SplashLady's explanation about her other self was acceptable, nothing too big to change the Voulge's point of view towards the navi. It did, however, satisfies the curiosity the navi had and tried to make sure that it stayed that way, trying to avoid any more awkward questions.

There was a silence upon them again...but it was different compare to the peaceful quiet they had before. Splash also took notice of this as she became restless. "Quiet before the storm, the saying goes..." Voulge materialized his Lancea up against shoulder as he sat down onto the ground, preparing himself for the supposed storm. "Do you have confidence in your self and I? If so, there is no need to be so worried." The blade of the spear slowly began to be covered in white frost, and his breath was blowing a fog. "Nothing will stand against us."

((Continue or just go into the battle, MC's choice))
A slow clap broke the silence of the causing both navis to turn their attention to the source of the noise: A lone lizard-like navi. He was fairly strange looking; two large yellow bulbs protruded from the side of his vectored helmet like bulging eyeballs while a pitch black visor seemed to cover where his eyes would have been. His hands were disproportionately large compared to the rest of his body with two sets of eyes on their back. His emblem was followed the similar visual theme with an eye being crossed out. His thighs were as thin as twigs and ended in bulky tree stump-like shins with floating circles where his toes would have touched down. A long curling tail waved itself behind his back as he approached the two.

His raspy voice was more unnerving than his appearance, "Touching. Really... Touching."

He flicked his unnaturally long tongue out almost reflexively as he finished his sentence.

As he continued to talk, his strange way of talking and sporadic neck twitches kept the two on edge, "But what are you... Looking for? Out here..."
As soon as the sounds of clap reached Voulge's ear, the navi immediately stood up and pointed his weapon straight at the source. Slightly shocked by the appearance of the unknown navi, Voulge became even more cautious when the frost on his blade evaporated and lit up in a fierce flame. "I didn't expect other navis to be out this far..." When the strange, creepy question came out, the Vougle barely loosened his grip over his spear and kept a perfect lock onto the navi. "Nothing...We're just here to eradicate few viruses here. If you see us as a hostility, we will leave immediately."
"Hmm...well, when you put it that way..." Before SplashLady could complete her thought, some odd lizard creature appeared. One that ranked rather high on her 'weird freaky thing' meter. Oh well, seemed he wasn't going to attack them...immediately, anyway. After listening to Voulge's remark, she twirled her own spear around, before planting it on the ground, and following her partner's lead. "Yep, can't say we're looking for anything particular. So, yeah, we'll just pass on through if you don't want us around."
The navis then heard a rumbling sound and turned to see a black, angular object approaching them at a very high speed. A gunmetal and orange-colored aircraft passed over them before it turned to make another pass. However, instead of buzzing past them again, a strange vortex appeared in front of the aircraft. As the aircraft passed through it, an angular navi emerged from the other side, who slid to a stop after a series of acrobatic flips.

"You there," The new arrival seemed address only Voulge and Splashwoman, "Why are you here?"

It seemed like everyone needed a reason to be here.

"Vengeance..." The reptilian navi hissed, "These two are... Not your concern."

"Lurkman," The navi snapped back, "What were you going to do with them?"

"None of your... Business." He answered.

Vengeance acted as if he heard nothing, "They appear strong. I will test them."

"Tsk." Lurkman flicked his tongue loudly, "I'm not giving up... My quarry!"

"Suit yourself." quipped Vengeance before he engaged some kind of combat mode.

Without much chance to explain themselves, Voulge and Splashwoman found themselves challenged by the pair of unlikely assailants.

[Battle 5 - Begin!]
Before Voulge has realized, the two navis standing before was fully prepared to fight against him and SplashLady. With a bitter expression on his face, Voulge had no choice but to squeeze onto his Lancea and also prepare to fight. But before doing so, there were couple things that couldn't help but to bother the spearman. Just before the battle began, SplashLady noted that this was her first time treading this far into the Rogue net, and this was coming from a navi of such high level. Seeing these two navis casually walking around in this part of the area easily meant that they were dangerously powerful. Secondly, why they would attack without a single known reason simply perplexed Voulge.

The navi simply gritted his teeth and began to bore his feet deep into the ground, shaking off the lingering thoughts and focused on the battle. Licht separated from its main body and fused with Voulge's greaves in a blink of an eye, while Ignis was quicker than his sibling, but only hiding away from the danger. Voulge created a solid shield from anything that was around him, including debris and pebbles, and placed hovering shield in front of him. "The lizard navi...LurkMan is mine. Splash, could you take the other?" The spearman flipped the Lancea over him and placed the end of the pole beneath his armpit for a firm grip, "We'll only focus on our targets unless one of us needs serious support. Let's regroup as soon as possible!" Even though Voulge had a feeling of concern towards Splash, his strategy would be the best for this situation and emotions couldn't be in the way.

Licht, now embedded onto Voulge's leg armor, began to shine with a bright emerald glow and exhaust a heavy amount of green flames around the navi. It was thick enough to tower over Voulge and left the navi completely undetectable from the outside view. "Disperse!" With his voice echoing across the net, two Voulges leapt away from the wall of green flame and both began to run straight towards LurkMan. Approaching from left and right, the two navi's movement was exactly the same and didn't show a single sign of which one was the imposter and which wasn't. The two Lancea was pointed forward as the Voulges ran towards their target like a mad jouster, but a second before the spear tip was to meet at the single point, lowered the blade straight to the ground. Stabbing the Lancea right into the ground, possible inches away from LurkMan's feet, the terrains began to swell red and quickly fill a large part of the terrain with hot lava. The decoy finally disappeared, whether it was still there or not, and left the real Voulge right in front of LurkMan.

Even though he was so close from his target, Voulge didn't falter as he took a single leap backwards and threw a symmetrical cube straight up into the air. The cube began to illuminate in a bright blue light and switched over to a blood red light, repeating the process until a large stream of the colored light shot straight into the sky right before it landed and submerged into the melting lava. "Tell us why you are so willing to fight us!" The spearman at least tried to know the reason why LurkMan was so caught on fighting and deleting Voulge, even though the questions would be nothing but breath wasted. "Voulge, focus on the battle!" Marius' voice was heard through a private channel, "We have little to no information about this enemy, it's too dangerous to be so carefree!" Voulge's slowly nodded his head as he raised his spear up once more. "What is your plan..." The operator shuffled through his chip folder and only took out a single chip, quickly loading it into his PET. "Slow and steady...Let's take him out with safety in mind and chip off his health steadily without endangering yourself. Splash and Sabrina can take care of themselves." With yet another nod of his head, Voulge gave a small reply and prepared for another attack. "Your Will Be Done."

The chip, MagBolt2 to be exact, coursed through Voulge's chest emblem, his arm, and into the Lancea, causing it to transform into a suitable weapon for the chips power. The blade lit up in a thick golden light, separating the blade into two curved ones, forming a near circle. Though the shape of the weapon was strange, the blade was still very sharp as two pronged tips pointed straight forward and it was constantly charged with live electricity. "...Prepare yourself." Voulge held onto the Lancea tightly and gave a quick stab forward, sending a jolt of electricity right towards LurkMan like a living rope, and tried to restrict the navi from its place. The spearman pulled the weapon back, hopefully sending LurkMan right at him with the constricting electricity. Planting his back feet firmly to the ground, Voulge was prepared for this one strike and placed all his strength behind this single thrust towards what hopped to be his target.

As soon as his attack was finished, the Lancea reverted back to its original form and Voulge quickly retreated away from where he stood, much quicker thanks to Licht's innate power, and began to apply some of his own powers into the Lancea.

Well, she couldn't say she wasn't expecting a battle. Even the second Navi appearing didn't shock her too much...apparently she was getting used to the chaotic nature of Rogue Net. SplashLady couldn't help but wonder why they doing it, though...the one that flew in said something about 'testing' them. ...Meh, whatever. They wanted a fight, and she was more than willing to give them one. Seemed Voulge had a preference as to who got what, though. "So, you want the weird lizard guy? Fine with me!"

"Ugh, that guy kinda reminds me of that Navi we fought in the tournament...only lamer. I know it didn't work then, but let's fight speed with speed! After all, this time we've got way better chips!" Like...electrical bees. "Let's go! Battlechip, Arrow2! Slot in!"

"Hey, don't I get a say in this?!" Apparently not, as an Elewasp virus formed in front of the female Navi's face. After a moment of synchronizing with her thoughts, the electric insect bolted forward, its stinger primed and crackling with lightning energy. And, uh...that was about it. There wasn't really much she could do to influence it..."It's fired, so yeah. No offense, but can the next attack be something a little more...involving me?

"Hmm...sure! In fact, you can do whatever you want! Anything that doesn't use a chip, do it!"

So basically, Sabrina wanted to be lazy for a little bit. Oh well, she had a few tricks up her own sleeve. Taking her eyes off her opponent for a moment, SplashLady pointed the tip of her spear downward, towards the ground...causing water to gush from the panel, as if from nowhere. However, unlike an ordinary geyser, upon reaching the apex, the liquid mysteriously failed to descend, pooling itself together into a large sphere that hovered mid-air. After a few moments, the well apparently dried up, causing the uppour to halt, and leaving a blob of water hovering in front of the aquatic Navi. However, this didn't last, as she reached out with her lance, and touched it. This resulted in a more horizontal burst of water, as the sphere emptied itself in a beam-like attack, and all directed towards the aerial entry Navi.

"Water Splash? Well, that's as good as anything!" And during that brief interlude, she had thought of something potentially nifty to try. "Okay, if he's as fast as we think he is, there's no way we can outrun him or anything. Which might be a bad thing...but it also means it shouldn't hurt much if we slow down a little bit! So let's take a chance with this!" Three chips at once, and yet they weren't all the same...truly, the Netopian girl had snapped. "Battlechip, FastGauge! Battlechip, Yo-Yo! Triple slot in!"

SplashLady suddenly began to feel lighter on her feet, as the first transferred chip sped her processes up slightly. "Hmm...nope, I don't feel hyper like before. It's working, though, so don't worry!" Speaking of working, her spear's dull edge vanished, and replaced with...some weird, almost claw-like apparatus. From there, the Navi twirled her spear counterclockwise for a second, before suddenly stopping on a dime, and causing the concealed sawblade to rocket forward, spinning as it sought to puree whatever poor sap got in its way. It didn't stick around, however, and in the span of a few seconds, it returned to its point of origin. Seemed like that was it...or was it? As the claw closed, a second one quickly appeared on the opposite end. Knowing it had been coming, the mermaid's weapon received a quick 180 degree spin, causing a second bladed Yo-Yo to snap forward, seeking nothing more than the total mauling of whatever came in its path, much like its predecessor. But also like the previous one, it didn't last, and found itself within its blue and gray home once again. This presented a problem, however. The attacks themselves were done, but the Yo-Yos were not. And even one weighed the spear down significantly; with two, she could barely lift it without resting one end on the floor. "Geez, this thing is heavy with all these Yo-Yos on it!"

"Yeah, you probably shouldn't dodge with it like that..." It was these times Sabrina wished she carried a defense chip or two...and why she actually did carry one. "Well, you know what's comin'! Battlechip, IronShield! Slot in!"

A large metal shield formed in front of the aquatic Navi, to help prevent her from being harmed. Now that she had a moment to herself, she couldn't help but wonder how her partner was doing. She could peek out and look, but doing that would leave her vulnerable. Guess she just had to to expect the best from him. It wasn't like he hadn't already proved how good he was, after all.
