Inside the shop

John walked into the Navi Shop, still trying to decide how to best spend the money earned from his last busting run. Though the upgrades he was considering were still quite cheap, he didn't have that much money to play with. He looked at the shelves, and mulled over the prices for a minute before finally approaching the counter.
Hello, I'd like to buy a Speed Upgrade, four Process Upgrades, and a HP memory, please.


Speed Upgrade 1: 5000z
Process Upgrades 3,4,5,6: 1800z
HP Memory 2: 1500z
Total: 8300z

"Hm, all right, let's see what we've got..." said Suitachi, mumbling some things as he pulled out several upgrades from the counter display, setting them on the counter one by one. After a few seconds, he stated the price, packing up the upgrades in a plastic bag.

"Eighty-three hundred in total. Thanks, and have a nice day."

John GET: Speed Upgrade, HP Memory [#2], Process Upgrade x4, [#3-#6]
John LOSE: 8300z

John smiled and took the bag, before wrapping the bag around his upgrades, and sliding the now compact item into the pocket of his jacket.

As he turned to walk away, his stomach growled. Quite loudly, in fact. Loud enough to catch KaijuMan's attention.

John sighed as he continued on his way out, before looking both ways down the sidewalk, trying to see if there were any restaurants nearby.

Stepping from the tram, Vincent glanced about Sci-Labs before heading to the all too familiar shop and stepped inside, waiting patiently for his turn in line as he draws a card and sets it upon the counter. "Morning, I'd like a Process Upgrade if you would."

Buying:

"One upgrade coming up," said Suitachi, doing some blurry motions of grabbing and packing and swiping and greeting. Before Vincent knew it, the purchase was shown on the register's display, and Suitachi was handing him his upgrade in a plastic bag.

"Thank you, and have a nice day," the shopkeeper said.

Taking up his card and the bag, he'd give a light nod and wave before turning to leave. "Thanks again."

Sullen was sure to bump shoulders (purposefully) with her friend on the way in. After all if she didn't take an extra long bath in Yoka she would have beaten him here!

"All right, on your way," noted Suitachi, nodding as he set a few upgrades on the counter from the display underneath it, mentally calculating the price from extensive memory. "Seven, eight, nine, twenty-four hundred in all," he said, packing up the upgrades and handing them over.

"There you go, have a nice day."

Sullen GET: Process Upgrade x3 [#7-9]

"Pleasure doing business with you; I think I will stick around here for a lil' while." Giving the owner a faint wave before making her exit; all she needed to do was figure out what to do with these upgrades and find a place to Log in.

A baby stroller, of all things, rolled into the entrance of the shop. As it approached the counter, a baby's cry could be heard.

"gahhh wabba wan! gahhhh!"

A mechanical arm emerged from behind the stroller and set 100 zenny on the counter. A voice emanated from a large speaker on the front of the cart.

"Allow me to translate. 1 Process Upgrade please!"

"Err... okay, sure, I guess," replied Suitachi hesitatingly, turning up one of his upgrades, and packing it into a plastic bag. Looking at the money twice to make sure he wasn't receiving play money or anything like that, he handed the upgrade to the mechanical arm.

"Have a nice day," the shopkeeper said, turning around to go take a nap in the back room. Maybe he just needed some rest...

Gramps GET: Process Upgrade
Gramps LOSE: 100z

Victor walked into the shop and immediately headed over to the counter. He signaled for the owner and set down his card.

"I would like five process upgrades," he said.

((Buying PUs 6 through 10. Should be 4,000z))

"Just a sec," said Suitachi, scratching his head as he sleepily looked through the upgrades, pulling them out of their storage containers with closed eyes. Reaching for the card, he swiped it quickly, and set it back down. The upgrades were packed quickly, and pushed towards Victor.

"There you go, have a nice day," said Suitachi, sitting down on a chair behind the counter to doze off.

Victor GET: Process Upgrade x5 [#6-10]
Victor LOSE: 4000z

"Thanks," Victor said as he pocketed his card.

He gathered up his packages and headed out the door.

Finny walked through the front door of the shop, examining everything the shop had to offer from the bargin to the top-tier upgrades. However, she seemed to have something already in mind as she approached Suitachi with cash already ready at hand. "Goo'day, shopkeep!" Finny greeted with a salute. "New in town and I want to get something for my navi. Do you have some HP Memory and a pair of Process Upgrade?"

"Of course, miss," said Suitachi, saluting back as he picked up the upgrades requested by Finny, and setting them on the counter. Counting the cash received from her, he confirmed the amount before packing up the purchase.

"Good to have you around. Have a nice day," he said.

Finny GET: HP Memory, Process Upgrade x2 [#1-2]
Finny LOSE: 1300z

"You too, shopkeep!" Finny waved goodbye to Suitachi, eagerly opening the upgrades as she began to update her PET as she walked away. "T-time to go to our new house now?" said Cambiare as he spoke out from the PET. "Yea yea, promise is a promise...No detours...*sigh*."

...Hmm. Not a terrible Navi shop at all. And he had seen some terrible Navi shops in his day. With a small nod to himself, Hector walked right up to the counter and leaned on it, not being one to waste time. "I'll take a Speed Upgrade and Process Upgrade, por favor." Yeah, that's right, he said por favor. With a smirk, he gently tossed a card on the counter, the kind that could be swiped to reduce money from his account.

"... Right away, sir."

... Wow, this guy had some aura. Suitachi had to keep himself from staring too much as he distractedly pulled out the upgrades, nearly switching a Process Upgrade with a HP Memory. That would've been bad. Placing them on the counter, he swiped the card through the reader, which read out to the amount purchased.

"All right, there we go. Have a nice day, sir," said Suitachi, making sure to keep his eye out on the guy walking out the door.

Hector GET: Speed Upgrade, Process Upgrade

"Ah, thank you." Reclaiming his card, and in a way, his upgrades, Hector quickly flipped over his PET, opened its back, and in the blink of an eye installed his purchases. After closing it and reholstering it, he took a quick look around, scoping the place. For some reason, it almost felt...soothing to him. Maybe because it'd been a while since he needed to step foot in one. "Hmm...not a bad little shop you've got here. I'll have to remember it while I'm here in Electopia..."

With that, he exited the shop. Suitachi could exhale now.
