Hm. Well, I finally understand what's wrong with my music links.
Since I bought(!?) the albums by The Flashbulb...
Well, it seems the protection runs a bit deeper than I thought it had.
Somehow, computers recognize that it has been bought. It requires authorization to play (to confirm that you are, in fact, me, who paid for it,) so that it cannot be heard without payment.
Disgusting, really. Especially since file sharing is perfectly legal in Canada.
I paid for the damned things! Paid with my own money! Who's to govern what I do with my property!? It's perfectly legal, where I hail from!
Piracy is great and noble! Loose the corporate stranglehold!
Haah... It feels good to rant.
Anyway, I'll see if I can work my way around the protection, or at least get the files from a new, unprotected source.
However, I am in no way a computer genius, so the first option is nigh-impossible.
