The "Everything you ever wanted to know" Thread

Truly, he is the P.A. Master.
Really impressive, man. Did you have this typed up somewhere?

I think Fumikomizan is a chip, though. On the old forums, at least, it was listed as a chip, with (Areagrab+Areagrab+Sword) under the effect, probably to detail that it warped twice then slashed.

At any rate, it's been removed now, likely because it's far too powerful and vague (thanks a lot, Nale. Only you could copy and paste bare-bones guidelines for chips and leave it to us to figure the rest out) to be used in anything but destroying NPC darknavis and our good friend Sarge.

I'm going to assume you're talking about Program Advances, and not our very own PA Master. ;^^

Yeah, I think that too, but I didn't choose this name for nothing!

Known PA's: (We know they work)
Gigacannon (Cannon+Hicannon+M-Cannon)
Dreamsword (Sword+Widesword+Longsword)
Mugenvulcan (Vulcan1+2+3)
Fumikomizan (a.k.a. Stepcross)(Areagrab+Areagrab+Sword)
Gigaheal (Any three different Recov chips)
Gigabomb (Minibomb+Energybomb+Megaenergybomb+Bigbomb)

Possible PA's: (Not proven, but might work. From the games)
Heatspread (Heatshot+Heat-V+Heatside)
Bubspread (Bubbler+Bub-V+Bubside)
Elementsword (Firesword+Aquasword+Elecsword+Bamboosword)
Cornfiesta (Cornshot1+2+3)
Barrier500 (Barrier+Barrier100+Barrier200)
Flamecross (Flameline1+2+3)
Beastfang (Twinfang1+2+3)
Flamehook (Firehit1+2+3)
Cactirain (Cactiball1+2+3)

Guessed PA's: (COMPLETE guesses, about original chips making PA's)
??? (Powershot+Powerbolt+Powerblast)
??? (Sunshine+Twilight+Eclipse)
MegaRegen (Regen1+2+3)
Elementblade (Fireblade+Aquablade+Elecblade+Bambooblade)
Neovariablesword (???+Sonicboom+Variablesword)

But yeah. That's just my opinion. Keep in mind, most of these are speculation. Granted, a lot of the speculation is from the games, but meh.
And as for Neovariablesword... I didn't see it in the chip list, and it was one of the most famous chips from the games, so I'm hoping it's a PA. The sonicboom had Variablesword in the name, but I don't know what the third chip would be.

Hope this all helps.

Tch. Damnit, you guessed the Regen PA. Too bad you didn't get the name right...

The correct name on that one is Revitalization. I dunnae have the details worked out yet... but then again, nobody's tried a PA with those yet either.

Also, Heatspread is proven.

BubbleSpread as well due to, if the opposing element can do it, why can't I?

Nope. Not at all.

Nice. I actually guessed one.
And I'm not going to change this list, it was just what I thought had been done/not been done.

And as a question to Twi...
Is the Powershot/bolt/blast a PA?
No.

Quick question about the new Guard (*coughreflectorcough*) system.
I know that in MMBN6 the guards just shot out a nigh-impossible to dodge beam, with no element, dealing the damage of the chip.
Is that the same here?
Or do our guards reflect the element as well?
Or is the reflection not a beam, but a shockwave, or the attack used on it?
It's a Beam, with all that implies about evading it. (As in, forget it.)

Null element.

Exact stats are as follows:

Guard 1: 60 Null + Beam Attack (Reflect Caps at 60, still negates entire attack)
Guard 2: 120 Null + Beam Attack (Caps at 120, still negates entire attack)
Guard 3: 200 Null + Beam Attack (Caps at 200, still negates entire attack)

If the damage is below the 60 Cap, the damage reflected equals the lesser amount.

Break Effects (among others) pierce this defense.
Does Fumikomizan use up the sword you use for it?
(Ex. I use Widesword with Fumikomizan. Can I use the widesword after the initial attack is completed?)

Yes, as in the game, using a P.A. uses up the chip that you use to create it for the battle. That would include a multi-use chip such as Sword, to my knowledge anyway.

No.

-Twi

It should.

Hi this is orca here.. I am from the old chaos network community and like an idiot i didn't think i would need my old character data and negleted to save it. Can i make a totaly new character?
NO!! YOU CAN'T!!!

(jk) Why would you not be able to make a new character?
I dunno i just don't wanna break any rules, i remeber how tough this place was on rules. So now i am off to make my character.
Where can i find drakim's code for sigs?
sorry for the double post i see it
Question...For the Normal type navi's ability, does tt round to ANY 5 or the LOWER 5 (<- As in, even if the calculation is 10 + 9/2 = 14.5, would it count as 15 or 10?)

Also, for the element stat boost.

Quote ()

Base: +5 to same element.
L5: +5 to same element. +5 additional to same element if attack only hits one opponent.
L10: +10 to same element. +5 additional to same element if attack only hits one opponent.
L15: +10 to same element. +10 additional to same element if attack only hits one opponent.
L20: +15 to same element. +10 additional to same element if attack only hits one opponent.

The first number applies to ALL chips, multi-hitters included. The 2nd number applies if the chip only launches ONE attack.

So does that mean if I make my Magnum focus on one opponent, the chip would get +10 boost rather than +5? Since it says about how Magnum can only hit 3 WHEN the chip is charged.

Uh, I don't get what you're asking in the first part... 10+9/2?

But as to the Magnum question, it WOULD get a +10 if you didn't charge it, just fired it at one, but if you made it hit more than one than the bonus would go to +5 for each hit.
I'm pretty sure P.A.'s right about the Magnum. As for the bonus, I'm pretty sure it always rounds to the lowest 5, regardless of decimals.
Sweet, 'preciate it^^
