Fixed on following in the wake of the ponderous entity, Terra wasn't about to let a few disgruntled and overgrown mechanical viruses get in her way for long; as well as prepping one line of defence,s she also surmised the incendiary tendencies of some of the opposing machines and prepared accordingly. While she was setting up, though, the low-profile tank was trundling forward aggressively towards her, aiming its muzzle as it did; the small network of carefully grown plants that Terra was protecting herself with had also caused a small whine of sound from the mossy tank, and that seemed to have spurred its determination to run her down directly. It seemed mostly to ignore the barricade in front of it, the large, spiky wooden roller in the front bashing it down flat with ease as the tank came on. The more the over-grown roller turned, the more long ends of branches broke off, turning it into a spiked menace of a weapon. Pushing down the barrier did manage to divert its course just slightly, and as the tank rolled into the cross-roads it missed barging into Terra herself directly. What didn't miss, however, was the turret shot that blasted out of its muzzle as it moved, crushing Terra's barrier and tossing her backwards down the left branch of the tunnel. In a small concession, it seemed as though the Flintlock probably shouldn't have fired that particular round quite so close to itself, as part of the blast blew back in through its open shutter, damaging it as well.
The two shrieking PulseBats took exception to the navis sudden arrival, and both sent piercing sonic blasts at her in unison. Already slightly dishevelled from the initial tank shell, Terra was left with her ears ringing, both attacks hammering down on her (-50, -50). Down the other end of the junction, the second larger tank raised its shield and presented a very broad calibre, dangerous looking main gun down the hall towards her, and a hum sounded as it began to charge up. While it was occupied, Terra had a smaller, cuter surprise for it, and her little Bandcoon was quick to close the distance, and begin clambering over the virus and searching its insides for loot. Who knew what it might find in there?
While the larger virus was charging, the two smaller viruses tried to lay down some quick covering fire on Terra's position, lobbing a volley of bomb shells that exploded in quick succession as they rained down. Unfortunately for the pair of Kabutanks, Terra disappeared from the blast zone before any of their rounds managed to hit her, reappearing at the far end of the passage, behind all three vehicles. The main gun from the Magnum began to swivel about, still charging, as the roller-bearing tank turned to face her, trundling up the tunnel in her direction again. The passage was just broad enough for the two larger viruses to pass by each other, and the smaller one quickly zipped out of the Flintlock's path as it rumbled along. As it passed the Magnum, the latter began to roll back slowly, away from Terra as it trained the main gun on her, and made more room for the Flintlock to take the fore.
This time, try as she might, Terra wasn't able to get away from the oncoming roller entirely, and took a glancing blow that was half crushing, half piercing as the broken branch ends of the roller tore at her (-20). As the crusher threw her back a few more feet, however, Terra would feel something more worrying; her connection to the protective plants she'd threaded the field with was suddenly, and sharply, interrupted. Their ability to respond to fire failed along with it, as they lost direct connection with Terra herself. If the shock if this interruption came as a disorienting shock to Terra, then it would be a good excuse for her inability to escape as a smaller, laser-assisted tracer turret on the Flintlock zeroed in on her and fired a lightning quick, shot that pierced through her body almost faster than anyone could follow. In truth, it wasn't really Terra's fault; the shot was unerringly precise (-40). More troubling still, was that as the slim tracer round struck her, there was a blip in her internal coding, and a part of her navi customiser went suddenly dead — her protective undershirt was still functional, as was her affinity with the terrain, but for now, it felt as though, even if she were fully healed, she wouldn't have as much protection as normal.
As she reeled from this, The momogra popped out of the ground just in front of her, making teasing and taunting sounds, and then, a moment after, the Magnum's main gun fired. There were too many distractions all at once, and Terra didn't manage to avoid the devastating shell; her defences were broken and her fire protection was already compromised as the shot took her full in the chest and burned. A brutal amount of fire consumed her as the blast exploded, cracking the ground beneath her feet as it seared her body, and Terra felt the ominous jolt of her undershirt triggering with its last moment protection. She was left smoking and smouldering, but still alive and able to retaliate with as much force of nature as she could muster. It was, as it turned out, rather a lot.
The dragon that she unleashed in response roared back down the passage, bringing life with it as it went. Before her, the momogra attempted to burrow under the soil to get away, but this only ended up hastening its demise. Next, the wood spirit tore through the Flintlock, breaking it apart and shredding the metal of its shell, before obliterating the two smaller Kabutanks, and flipping the Magnum over on its side while it tried to cool off from its high-powered shot. It wasn't destroyed yet, but it was close.
When it finally faded, all that was left at the juncture was the two pulse-bats, looking like they wanted to fly up and away for now, as well as the badly damage MagnumGuard, and a desperately injured Terra.

Flintlock V2Flintlock V2 (Flintlock)
Flintlocks are a combination of the Shrubby, Cattack, and CannonGuard viruses. Their overall appearance is that of a low profile modern battle tank, painted jungle green. The tank has a spiked roller braced across the front that it uses to run over enemies with, clear traps, and break through obstacles. The turret is heavily armored, and features a shutter-shield that opens sideways when the main cannon is to be fired. The virus is only vulnerable to backstab attacks or drop attacks unless it is attacking with the main gun, at which time it is also vulnerable from the front. This virus is very slow, but it may move and dodge while attacking and the direction of attack is generally independent of the direction it moves in.

MagnumGuard V2MagnumGuard V2 (MagnumGuard)
MagnumGuards are a combination of the Basher, Gunner, and IronShield viruses. For the most part, they simply look like a Basher's upper turret mounted on a heavily armored catterpillar drive with an extra set of armatures that hold an IronShield in place before the turret. The shield faces in whatever direction the turret faces, allowing the virus to move in one direction while attacking and defending in another. The Basher's signature secondary cannon arms are able to reach out far enough to shoot while the shield is down, and the main cannons fire when the shield is up.

HP: 400
Element: Fire
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: 90 Fire + Break + Panel Break x3 Targets, 1 Action Charge
Primary Attack Accuracy: A
Primary Attack Description: The virus selects up to 3 targets, and spends an action charging up the main cannons. It then fires a Magnum blast that reduces most Network constructs to ashes with a single shot; usually leaving a blast crater where they once stood. It may target empty panels and objects as well as enemies.
Secondary Attack Damage/Effect: 10 Fire x 9 Shots + Spray Fire + Double Attack
Secondary Attack Accuracy: D
Secondary Attack Description: Sprays the enemy with a hail of machine cannon fire from each cannon arm.
Tertiary Attack Damage/Effect: 20 Fire + Break + Panel Break x 3 Targets + Double Attack
Tertiary Attack Accuracy: C
Tertiary Attack Description: Fires a spread of flaming cannonballs from each cannon arm.
Special: SuperArmor: Immunity to Knockback, Microburst, Pull, Gravity, and similar effects.
-- The virus may raise its shield over it's body to ward off aerial attacks as a free action. However, once the shield is raised, it must remain raised for 1 turn.
-- The virus may lower its shield from the raised position to guard against frontal attacks as a free action. However, once the shield is lowered, it must remain lowered for 1 turn.
-- This virus can move, but it's size and slow pace makes dodging impossible. It can turn quickly, however.

Momogra EXMomogra EX (Momogra)
Momogras move by tunneling through the ground. They poke their heads up just far enough from time to time to see where the enemy is, but they are still protected from most forms of attack. Drop attacks, Bomb attacks (which fall out of the air after being thrown), and Ground attacks damage them in this state. Other attacks executed from a high angle/altitude also work. All movements performed by a Momogra are considered a dodge, as they occur underground, and out of sight. Momogras only attack in response to having an attack launched in their direction, and only if they have an action remaining for that turn. Momogras attack by instantly tunneling to the panel behind the enemy, popping out of the ground, and striking with a shovel. A Momogra is completely vulnerable to any form of attack during its own atack, and until it moves again following that attack. The movement prior to the attack does not require an action, but movement afterwards does. The attack cannot execute if the panel behind the target is a liquid terrain type, Metal, Broken, or Missing. The attack also will not execute if there is something currently occupying the panel they would be attacking from. If the attack cannot execute, the Momogra will not move. In the case of Glass and Cracked terrain, the Momogras will still attempt to attack, but suffer the consequences of doing do as those panels will break and damage the Momogra, also causing the attack to fail. Momogra get 1 free movement per turn at the start of the turn before their first action.
