Tests of Skill and Luck

What the- the twin viruses regenerated! Were they immortal viruses or something? No, that wasn't likely. If they were immortal the internet would be overrun by them. Hm.. Twins... maybe the other was resurrected because they relied on each other? Yes, that was it! Their lifeforces are connected to one another, and will support the other if one is deleted, so if he wanted to beat them... he'd have to beat them both. The Brushmen were being all kinds of annoying, though, as they painted sparkly panel after sparkly panel. Must be a trend or something. In any case, he'd have to get rid of the panels however he could.

His gauntlet reforming back into its original form, he pointed his open palm towards the ground, and a small trickle of light began to rise from the panel he pointed at. The light began to pool up more and more, and a line of ice began to form on the sparkled terrain. After a short while, the sparkles beneath the Brushmen were quickly replaced by their own reflections in sheer cold ice. Eternalis grinned at his own reflection in the ice, and it returned the favor quite willingly.

The Navi then looked at the viruses, trying to figure out a way to hit them all. He moved around somewhat randomly, sliding around, until he found what he saw as a perfect line of attack. Requesting direct linked chips, he clenched his fists in preparation. The chips were uploaded quickly enough, and he activated the first. His body was then immediately engulfed in cold green flames, and he began to float slightly above the ground. Eternalis looked around at his condition and smirked in satisfaction.

Oh, don't worry about me, Rhea, I'll be far, far away from you, he said, replying to Rhea's warning earlier, a little sass thrown in for good measure.

Afterwards, in one quick movement, the Navi then closed his eyes and directed his body forwards, shooting forward at breakneck speeds. His floating body struggled to withstand the stress that the gravitational forces put on it as he rammed into the viruses. He felt nothing, saw nothing, heard nothing, as whatever crossed his lethal pathway was hit with the incredible force of high-speed impact. Only when the chip's temporary speed boost faltered did he lower his feet onto the ground, grinding to a halt somewhere in the battlefield. He opened his eyes, but he didn't pause to see the results of his attack.

Instead, he focused his sights on the Twin viruses, one of which should have been severely weakened by his speedy dash. He lifted his right arm as its Crystal Gauntlet began to shift to adapt to the chip data loaded into it. The gauntlet ended its transformation as a triple-barreled cannon, locked and loaded. Eternalis then swiftly pointed the weapon towards the Twin viruses, letting out a blast of pressurised watery death.

((Guess who got their barrier nerfed? Don't worry, it won't take effect until after this fight.))
Rhea blinked at the rising number of glowy panels, and didn't like it. It may be giving the enemies a certain unfair advantage over herself and Eternalis that she did not know of...

Although, two can play the game.

She was thankful that it was affecting the panel-- that would mean that anyone that was on it will be influenced by the effects of the panel. If she could get on one of those... Rhea could examine the panel further and investigate. "Cannon," Rhea said simply, a single word, which Camillia quickly complied to. At this point, words were hardly necessary as Camillia, despite not being battle-capable, had full trust in her Navi in what she wanted to do. Their relationship was that, quick and simple-- perhaps even disasterous in terms of friendship.

Rhea never once thought of Camillia as anything more than her boss; her operator. She didn't dare to.

The cannon data fluttering it's way to her free, left arm, she kept her still-there-sword-arm behind her as she aimed it at a long-ignored Brushman, knowing what results she wanted to see. Making it happen would be part of her job, here. The cannon should be enough to knock the virus out of the panel... Though she wasn't entirely sure.

Smoke erupting from the chamber after the giant roar of a cannonball flying at a broomstick, Rhea disappeared in a few steps into the smoke towards the said Brushman, taking a swift jump to deliver a diagonal slash at it with her swordarm. The moment Rhea touched the ground, however, she backflipped towards where the Brushman first stood-- the shining panel as her next destination spot to see the results of her actions as the smoke fully dissipated into the surroundings.

Summary of actions
1) Cannon - 40DMG, Knockback BrushmanA away from Holy panel
2) Sword - 80DMG, Slashing - BrushmanA
3) Movement - Towards the Holy panel that BrushmanA was standing on
A stretch of ice crept out under the Brushmen, undermining their efforts of creating a sparkly holy-filled battlefield. They didn't seem to notice the change and one of them was taken by surprise as Eternalis charged into it (90), along with the two other Pulsebats (90 / 90). The bats were deleted but the Brushman managed to stay strong and thaw out the ice beneath itself.

Rhea followed Eternalis's earlier tactic, knocking one of the Brushmen off its holy panel with a cannon (20) before rushing in to deliver a finishing blow with her sword (80). Eternalis continued to target the Twins with a Wideshot and managed to hit both but only deleted one (60 / 60). Unfortunately, the deleted virus quickly reappeared alongside its buddy in a repeat of their last encounter (+100). The blinded Brushman finally managed to clear the potato from its eyes and went to help one of the Twins by clearing another holy panel beneath it. The two Twins launched a pair of locked on attacks, one of which struck Eternalis's barrier and the other was deflected by Rhea. The barrier replenished itself.

...And the Twins just kept on insisting on creeping up again and again just as he blasted them off. It was getting pretty damned annoying, and Eternalis was losing his patience against the viruses. The Brushmen's sparkle-panel ability combined with the Twins' resurrection ability... a real pain in the ass of a combination. These Twins just don't know when they're supposed to die, damn it, he thought angrily. His yellow eyes were beginning to see red, and the left was twitching sporadically. He'd have to find some way to let off all this steam, or he'd crack and explode eventually. Fortunately, Eternalis knew what he needed to do to achieve exactly the goal he was looking for.

RageClaw2.

The verbal request was lost in the whisper, but the message was routed in direct link. The result was clear after a few seconds, in which the RageClaw2 battlechip data was uploaded silently. As he loaded the chip into his offensive systems, his body began to glow yellow, as if he was going into a portal. However, he did not disappear, but simply reformed. The shift was quite pronounced, his black shirt and pants changing into futuristic dark blue armor, his skin slowly liquefying into sky-blue water, and his human facial features dissolving into a formless head punctuated by only two gleaming yellow circles. His now-liquid fingers now started to elongate into malformed versions, which sharpened into cold sharp claws of ice with a wave of his arms.

The Navi's chestplate began to heave up and down in breathing rhythms, and cool mist began to flow freely from the icy claws. The circles that were the Navi's yellow eyes narrowed in search of victims. Plans began to form in his mental white space as he identified a couple of potential targets for his attacks. Then, he eyed Rhea's longsword, its shine gleaming defiantly in the blaring lights of NetVegas. Eternalis then turned quickly towards a nearby bat virus, claws extended and opened wide. The icy fingers closed in on the flying beast as the Navi whirled around. Attempting to catch the bat in his spin, he gained some momentum before flinging his claw towards the swordswoman, sending whatever was in its grip flying towards her. The aquatic warrior yelled at Rhea in a split-second warning,

Rhea! Think fast!

With his first attack delivered, he screeched to a halt from his twist and kicked off in a dash towards the Twin group he'd left earlier in his dash. In the middle of his run, he stored some of his energy in his legs, preparing for a jump. Then, Eternalis sprang up, arms spread wide and legs straight together, executing a somersault into the virus group. During his landing, the Navi reached down to grab what he hoped was one of the Brushmen, touching down on terra firma a few moments later. Acting fast, he turned back towards Rhea and threw his arm in a wide arc in an attempt to send the Brushman to Rhea for another combo attack.

Then, he saw the Twin that was resurrected, magically back from the plane of non-existence, standing on a Brushman-made sparklefloor. Seeing an opportunity for revenge, Eternalis reached out for the Twin virus, took a step forward, and threw his claw forward towards a very weak Brushman. If he was successful, he would delete the annoying Brushman, get the Twin off the sparklefloor, and injure it to boot. Three objectives in one fell swoop, a hat trick. Or so he hoped.

Eyewitnessing Eternalis's transformation, Camillia let a whistle. "Hey Rhea, maybe you can turn cooler, too, c'mon," the wheelchair-bound girl giggled, which Rhea pulled a bland face to-- her eyes were more focused on the weapon that her partner Navi was conjuring. It looked awfully familiar-- yet not. The data composition looked something like a superior version of one of Camillia's initial chips. Watching the whirling of the blue Navi as he emphasized the use of the claws, Rhea knew what was coming up next.

"Initiating homerun procedure," Rhea said automatically, which Camillia just blinked... and burst into uncontrollable laughter. Rhea couldn't make a response in time as she saw an object flying at her way-- though she couldn't tell what was it at the speed it was travelling. Oh well.

Drawing her sword to her back, her left foot in front of her in a semi-crouched position, she stepped forward quickly with her trained footing and sent the blade in a wide arc in front of her at the exact timing the object came into range. Rhea was about to look at the results of her work when she saw that another was coming her way from the corner of her eye, she quickly returned her attention to the next object and repeated the process-- then backflipping away from the objects in quick succession.

Camillia (while still laughing and giggling), worrying for Rhea's well-being, sent over a Guard chip. Guess what Rhea did? Well, the moment she got the data, the petite Navi sent it flying to Eternalis's way. Camillia's laughing paused a bit in disapproval, before returning in louder, incoherent ramblings. Something along the lines of, 'homeru- pfffffff HAHAHAHAAHA-'

The angry virus fired a tracking shot but had it reflected back at its round face (20).

Looking at the results of the attack, it seemed that the lifespan of the viruses would be cut short soon enough. Every one of the viruses was deleted except for the Twins. The goddamned muthafucking resurrecting Twins. Oh man, he wanted to give his foot up their asses so hard. It would be epic, and satisfying to his morale as well. Eyeing the Twin, he reached down to take a ball of mashed mush and began shaping it roughly. Didn't take long for it to become a compact starch-based projectile, ready to throw.

Hey, virus-ass! Eternalis taunted to get the virus' attention.

Readying the potatoball in his hand, Eternalis threw the projectile with seething disdain. Then, not caring whether he hit or not, he drew back his foot and stored all of his might in his leg movement process. His yellow eyes narrowed and slowly turned red. A short while later, the foot was sent on a crash course for the Twin, which hopefully had turned his way from the potatoball, so that he would be able to plant his foot in the Twin's face, or, er, lack of face. The kick would be directed at the other Twin, so that he might give his busting partner a chance at deleting more things.

Rhea! Your kill! he called after his foot had itself planted on earth once again.

The petite Navi grinned slightly at the sight of a flying meshed projectile, and knew what she was going to happen next as Eternalis drew his leg up in a kick. Rhea, knowing how the Twins are reliant on each other to regenerate, now, was about to ask Camillia to try out the new battlechip they obtained earlier-- the one of bombs and with a blast radius. Or, she would, if Camillia could stop laughing. "... Requesting for LilBomb," Rhea repeated bluntly. The netop coughed and sobered up, digging for the new battlechip data. "*cough* Right, sorry about that," Camillia apologized, slotting it in unceremoniously and sending the data pouring over Rhea as if she was jinxed by a raincloud overhead.

Yes, it did look like that.

Rhea wiped the almost-dried potatoes away from her face/forehead, the aftermath of the quick potatoball fight with her busting partner. Even as she flung the sludge away from her face, the data particles begin to form a compact spherical shape, with a small wick sticking out of it. ... The color seemed to be the same as the potatoes all over the battlefield, almost as if it was just a normal potatoball.

... Not that a potatoball was normal in the first place.

With her free hand, Rhea flicked at the wick once, making it surprisingly lighted from the quick spark that came from Rhea's fingers. Rhea took a few step forward, almost like a professional bowler before she threw the ball at low-altitude at the Twins group.

That was one heck of a battle, Eternalis said, having calmed down from Twin-rage. It also seemed that Rhea was getting stronger by the minute. In a way, he felt like some sort of mentor or something. It felt kind of good, really. Oh, and the mashed whatever-it-was floor seemed to have been cleared by something. Ignoring it, Eternalis simply picked up his rewards and called for Rhea to follow him deeper into the network of vice and lights as he began to walk. C'mon, Rhea. We'll find more viruses further in.

[Battle 3 - Ready]
"Oh, er, it's over?" Camillia said, almost as if it was anticlimatic. Rhea nodded slowly, sending the rewards report to her operator before proceeding, joining Eternalis by his side. She figured that she was starting to like this busting-with-allies concept... Whatever people call it.

[Battle 3- Ready]
And so, the allies delved deeper into the Net, eventually coming across what appeared to be an abandoned skating rink of the ice variety. However, this one was different, because smack dab in the middle was what appeared to be a slot machine reel. As soon as a single step was taken onto the frozen water, it began to spin...

Cherry.

Cherry!

...Mule. Crud.

Suddenly, something began to seep from the reels. Something orange-red, and hot...lava! In the blink of an eye, it cut the rink in twain, giving Eternalis and Rhea a 'haven'. Which was good, because things were beginning to rise on the other side...creepy skeletons...spooky shadows...mustachioed moles...yes, mustachioed moles. Truly, with their curly facial hair, they were the most terrifying of all...

===== BATTLE THREE, READY =====
-- TREMBLE IN TERROR AT MOLES WITH MUSTACHES ---
+ READY...GO! +
After some more travels into NetVegas, Eternalis comes across, of all things, an abandoned ice rink. Hey, something he can actually relate to after the Twin-Brushman nightmare. Testing the ice, he had only put the tip on one foot on the ice when a sound played out in the background. He immediately turned his attention to the source of the sound, and it seemed to be a... slot machine? Hey, maybe he could win something, a casual look wouldn't hurt. First reel... the round red cherry. Not bad, he could've gunned for something higher, though. Second reel... another big cherry! Yeah! Third reel! C'mon, c'mon...

*thunk*

Aw, crap. Too bad. Oh well, there's always the lava fountain to enjoy, and its heat.

...Wait, what? Lava? Another look confirmed his earlier sights, and that indeed, the slot machine was being replaced by a pool of boiling rock and metal. Not a good place to take the heat, and the rink was melting away as well. Sigh, he couldn't have all the good things in life. It didn't get any better as he spotted something beyond the searing heat distortion that the lava gave out. Some figures, thankfully separated from their side of the split rink by the pool of scorching red. His quick analysis took into stock what they were up against. Shovel-wielding mustachioed moles, dark-void ghost-shaped shadows, and cross-legged skeletons. Strangely enough, it seemed that the frail-looking skeletons seemed to be the strongest of the group.

So, if the skeletons were the heavyweights of the group, then it would make sense to blast them into oblivion first. The moles, he'd have to deal with later, and the shadows, well, maybe he'll just leave those to his unwavering ally. His experience with burrowing viruses had only taught him one lesson: let them come. First off, though, none of his known chips had enough power to wipe out the skeletons easily, and the boney viruses looked frail enough to fall apart at the slightest touch. Eternalis looked towards the lava, and an idea came to his head. Water. The liquid would cool down the lava considerably, making the highly unstable terrain explode in rapid temperature change. Now, he only needed to push the skeletons into the lava... an easy enough task.

Turning to his companion, Eternalis relayed to Rhea her part of his strategy, Rhea, I'll jump across to the skeletons to wipe them out, but I'll be back to help you if you decide to come across the lava. Otherwise, stay behind and let the viruses come to you, slice them up with your sword from there. Stay safe, I'll keep my recovery processes linked to you.

With that last part, he placed his hand on the petite swordswoman's shoulder as a sign of reassurance, and his eyes bent into an arc, the closest that he could come to a smile in his current form. He then turned to the viruses, and the touch of his hand quickly dissipated into thin air, transformed into heated steam. Now free to cross the lava, Eternalis dashed through the heatwave created by the hazardous terrain, phasing straight through the cluster of undead viruses. His run ended behind the skeletons as he summoned the winds to his calling. A gale immediately responded to his hand, and he waved it towards the skeletons. However, he was careful not to actually touch any with the wind attack, but simply to blow them away with the closest blast of wind he could muster.

Then, acting fast, he called off the moving winds and began to direct more chip data to his arm-output. The armor obliged, quite noisily in fact, as it shifted around to meet its master's demands. Cannon barrels were formed quickly as each finished one rotated and emitted a 'kchnk' sound. Thrice did the sound play out, and at the end, three blue barrels charged up their combined energies to fire one solid blast of sapphire light towards his targets, the frail zombie viruses. The WideShot traveled forward speedily as he returned the cannon to its rightful place in his reserve systems. Crouching down, Eternalis then leapt up into the air and did a single forward flip before diving smoothly into the lava pool.

His skin crawled under the corrosive heat as he tried to activate his barrier process. Failing once, he tried again, and again. Then, he simply gave up trying to do so, instead poking his head out slightly for any sign of Rhea trying to cross. Using his recovery processes as a buffer for the damage done to his systems, he waited out any virus attacks.

Not comprehending the concept of a slot machine, Rhea just stared blankly at the spinning device as the third pattern seemed to fall short of getting a row of similar pictures.

... Then lava seperated the arena, with enemies appearing on the other side.

Rhea winced visibly.

"... And they are out of my comfortable range..." Rhea muttered with disdain. Eternalis told her of his strategy, and Rhea nodded calmly at the patting on her shoulder. Once Eternalis disappeared into a puff of vapour, her own body seemed to glow-- and in her hand, a piece of long object seemed to materialize. Almost magically, Rhea had her hair tied up in a tight ponytail, and was dressed in a simplistic outfit of oriental origins. Camillia blinked and squinted at the tiny fontsize appearing at the bottom of the PET screen, that read--

[Practitioner.GMO-- ACTIVATE].

"Should I cross the lava panels?"
Rhea's voice came, more gentle than her usual, blunt tone. Camillia was still slightly dumbfounded, but was about to speak when Rhea interrupted her again. "Requesting for Cannon and Guard1 chip." The redhead, taken aback, paused slightly before complying with the requests-- slotting in the respective chips.

Rhea, however, rather than displaying her usual method of materializing chip data, seemed to do nothing of that sort. Not even a glow was seen depicting ornamental changes, either. Calmly, Rhea quickly stepped to the edge of the ice terrain she was on, turning her back to the enemies behind her and placed her umbrella on a 45 degree angle from the panel below her.

Then, with a huge blast as a sound effect, Rhea propelled herself backwards into the air, her aim to reach the other side. On the maximum altitude that Rhea assumed it to be, she turn to face the other side of the lava, the umbrella in front of her-- then below her, she unceremoniously opened it, for the events just in case she couldn't reach to the other side, and had to glide her way through the lava panels.

With her umbrella, now powered by the Guard chip.

Whichever the case, Rhea quickly raised the tip of her umbrella towards an enemy, targetting and producing a familiar 'click' sound-- similar to loading a firearm. What happened next was a small piece of shotgun shell seemed to travel it's way at top speeds at the nearest Momogra Rhea could see.

Summary of actions:-
1) Cannon - Knockback to propel Rhea towards the other side of the arena (past Lava panels perhaps?)
2) Guard1 - Used as a skateboard to glide on Lava panels if unable to reach the other side safely
3) Shotgun - 50DMG, Splash1 - MomograA/B/C/D
BRO HAS BUMPED THIS TOPIC.
Each Navi began their own route towards the enemy, with Eternalis's decidedly being both quicker and easier. With the Skarab completely caught by surprise, he used a fan to blow the skeletons back into the lava, before expertly blasting them with water, resulting in explosiony death. ...Never mind that they were undead to begin with. Oh, and as a result of said water, the lava hit by it quickly hardened, forming a relatively safe haven in the fiery zone of the battlefield.

Rhea, on the other hand, attempted to use a Cannon to knock herself across the lava river...which, as it turned out, wasn't enough. However, by using Guard to aid her further, she was able to surf the remaining distance to the other side. The power of Guard didn't leave the umbrella, either...decidedly a plus. She then tried to shoot some Momogra with Shotgun, but their underground whereabouts made sure it never had a shot to begin with. However, highly displeased by this attempt on their life, one of the moles quickly burrowed behind her, jumped out of its hole, and whacked Rhea right in the back before falling back into the safety of the earth (-15). Fear the moles manly enough for facial hair.

Eternalis then decided to take a dip in the lava, for no apparent reason given the fact his ally was already on the other side (-10). However, this didn't go unnoticed; a single eye witnessed his descent into the liquid, which caused the shadowy body it was attached to to float over to the water Navi, and took a stab at him (-40). Luckily for Eternalis, his absurd number of passives made sure none of this mattered in the end (+50).

Hah, just as planned... The skeletons are threats no longer. Watching from the sidelines, Eternalis watched as the Skarab viruses perished in the resulting lava-cooling explosion from his attack. Nothing less than perfection. Suddenly, a shadowy virus came down from above and proceeded to stab him viciously with... whatever it attacked with. The attack passed through his body harmlessly as the wound closed up immediately and Eternalis looked up at the shadowy beast with disdain. They're as sneaky as they look... Eternalis thought.

Ignoring the Nightmare for a second, he glanced around for more developments. It seemed that one of the mole viruses had jumped the boat and backstabbed- er, backshoveled, his friend. Tsk, I'm not going anywhere with this tactic... I'm getting out. But first, let's go with an old favorite. Two, in fact. Accessing his direct link, as always, let him request two chips from his operator. The two arrived quickly, resting in his battlechip data queue, ready for use: the trusty Sword, and RageClaw. Loading the Sword into his right arm-output, he tested the sword's weight by waving it around in the liquid lava.

Fantastic.

Then, he jumped out of the lava, kicking off the bottom of the lava flow in one graceful leap. Time seemed to move in slow motion as Eternalis saw globs of boiling red lava splash up near his field of vision. Lifting the weightless energy sword in his right arm to his chest, the aquatic warrior bent his legs, and proceeded to spin around, allowing his sword meet the shadow virus. Once he felt the sword strike something, he stepped up the speed, allowing for another quick whirl of the blade to move into the Nightmare's path. Satisfaction struck his face as he completed the double-spin maneuver and landed neatly on the ice.

Eternalis let the momentum from his leap carry him on a controlled slide, until he met Rhea, fully decked-out in a kimono and hakama. Of course he had no idea what the names for the clothes were, so he simply commented, "I see you've decided to change your dress style. Nice look, the colors suit you." Then, he turned around, so that Rhea's back met his. "These viruses look kind of tough. We'll do this together. I've got your back covered."

Suddenly, Eternalis felt another chip being slotted into his queue, and he examined it with due haste, materializing it in his left hand. A black spherical object instantly appeared in it, with a glowing yellow depression circling its midsection. He felt around the construction of the object, cool to the touch, metal-hard, light enough to throw. Above the depression, there was a small inscription embossed into the metal, and Eternalis read it to satiate his curiosity.

[Level-1 Magnetic Bomb BattleChip]

Weird, I didn't know we had this pretty little one, he thought. Oh well, it will be put to good use. Eternalis then tested its weight once more, lightly tossing it up and down in his hand. Looking at the moles that dotted the icy landscape, he smirked. Or he would, but his facelessness didn't provide him with the luxury of a mouth to smirk with at the moment. Can't have it all. Anyway, he then tested the trigger mechanism on the bomb, and it seemed to work fine. Satisfied with his inspections, he immediately lobbed the explosive device, straight into one of the moles' holes. A few moments passed before he thought it prudent to warn Rhea of his actions.

"Fire in the hole!" Simple, yet effective.

Wincing from the surprise attack from the back, Rhea immediately turned around to face the... missing enemy. Confused, she looked at the hole on the ground-- then an idea popped in her head. Camillia seemed almost automatic to deliver the chip she wanted, seemingly like as if there were some sort of telepathic thing going on between Navi and Operator.

The main shaft of Rhea's umbrella seemed to enlarge slightly, and a button could be visibly seen on the handle. The diameter of the shaft seemed to house a LilBomb. Hoisting the folded anti-rain tool, the petite Navi placed it down the icey hole before clicking on the button. There were no explosion or anything-- There was only a random clank of something metal travelling down the hole. Rhea then took a few quick steps back, not wanting to stay within the blast radius.

Rhea looked briefly at the aqua navi emerging from the lava, giving her partner a random thumbs up for nothing in particular. Or was it for the praise? Or was it for Eternalis's showy jump from the lava? ... Why was he in the lava, anyway? Whatever.

"I will cover your back, as well," Rhea responded, tapping her umbrella on the ground a few times. But when she saw how Eternalis threw down a bomb-like item down the hole-- similar to what she had done earlier-- she immediately activated her Run-The-Hell-Away procedure, opening her umbrella to shield herself from any potential blast debris.

"Want a sword?" Camillia asked Rhea, who was hiding behind the opened umbrella and holding whatever free hand she had to cover her ears. Rhea merely nodded.

Summary of actions:
1) LilBomb - 50DMG, Blast 2 - down the MomograA hole
2) Dodge
3) Parried Charge - 2-hit shield, Movement action away from Eternalis's bomb radius
Passive) Sword chip data- READY for next round
After passively transferring healing water to his ally, Eternalis got to work, what with the jumping and slashing. Unfortunately for him, the Nightmare anticipated a counterattack, raising its own blade to block the cut. It failed to foresee the second midair attack, though, as the sword sliced through it as though it were merely an absence of light...mainly because that's exactly what it was. The aquatic Navi then tossed magnetic explosiony goodness (not to be confused with the previous lava explosiony goodness) into a Momogra hole, completely and utterly zapping the thing into oblivion. Too bad the blast couldn't find its way into any other holes.

Fortunately for Rhea, she didn't have this problem, as there were no other holes to worry about as her own bomb went kablooey. The blast emerged from the depths, but since she knew enough to not stand around when explosions were going on, it failed to reach her. She then moved away from any possible further, more electrical explosions, as she began to shield herself...too bad shields didn't have a protection range of 360, as the very mole she nearly deleted got its revenge by smacking her in back again. Apparently, it really loved doing that. On the plus side, a Nightmare that tried to dice the tar out of the sword Navi had no such luck, getting completely and utterly parried.

Oh, and Eternalis made sure that any shovel marks were short lived, blah blah blah.
