Post mission busting. The Samurai and Knight team up!

Sparks quickly made his way from Netfrica, to the closest entrance he could find. As soon as his team would arrive, it would be time to get to work.
BOOM! The sound of a thunderclap cracked overhead as a beam of light shot down like a lightning bolt to strike the ground near Sparks. BOOM! BOOM! Two more followed in quick succession as a pair of multi-colored columns followed on either side. Emerging from the dust clouds formed by the impacts, strode three figures in gleaming plate with leathery wings outstretched. DragonierMan, Suzume, and Aya had arrived.

DragonierMan walked forward and grasped Sparks arm in a warrior's grasp. "Good to see you again my friend. It has seemed weeks since I cut down my enemies and I was feeling like my blades were getting dull. Time to stand together against the horde and crush them beneath our boots." Suzume and Aya unsheathed shortswords from their belt sheaths. Suzume's was long and thin, like a rapier. Aya carried two tantōs, one in each hand. Drago reached behind his back and unsheathed a large claymore.

"Oh this is going to be fun!" Drago shouted out as he began to walk toward the horizon.

[Requesting Battle 1.]
"I too, am ready for more action. The Navi I deleted only sparked my thirst for competition." In a similar fashion to Drago, and his crew Sparks unsheathed his weapon of choice. Electrical Sparks scattered all around the scabbard, crackling like popcorn being cooked in the microwave. "Who will be the first opponents we strike down. Come if you want to taste deletion,"

((Requesting battle For1))
The pair very quickly came upon an odd scene not far from where they had jacked in. What looked like a small park in the netopian net had apparently come under some form of corruption. In the centre of a ring of four curved flower beds, there were the ruins of something that looked like it might once have been a fountain ,except that now the panels where it had been were awash with a sickly dark colour, which faded into a noxious purple a little further out, and finally some more overt, if less toxic, damaged panels beyond. A number of viruses milled about in the area, but the most notable occupants were a pair of Progs that hovered above the cursed ground and really looked like they'd seen better days. Each was missing an arm, and seemed to have grown discoloured. They twitched and sparked occasionally, but perked up when the four newcomers arrived.

"CONGRATULATIONS! YOU WIN THE CARETAKERS GARDENING AWARD!!" Proclaimed one with extreme overentusiasm, raising its arm and beginning to move towards sparks.

"PLEASE HOLD STILL AND ACCEPT YOUR COMPLIMENTARY WINNER'S HUG!!" The other added, raising its own damaged arm and drifting towards Drago.

The main other thing of note, as the sounds of shouting drew the attention of the other viral entities in the area, was that one of the far flower beds glinted with a green light that promised rewards if they could take care of this little corruption problem first.

-=Fresh Targets=-
BandcoonBandcoon (Bandcoon)

Bandcoons are gray raccoon-like creatures, around 30 inches in height. They possess black stripes around their body, aside from their short, almost stub-like legs. Their faces are usually unseen, as they're covered in a red mask with string decorations. Their tails are twice as long as their actual bodies, and are usually curved into a question mark shape. At first this may seem like a simple design choice, but the tail is actually prehensile, and Bandcoon cleverly use it to steal chip data from Navis. Bandcoons' speed and small size combine to make them surprisingly difficult to hit while moving, and are even agile enough to turn sharply with little problem. However, if caught standing still, they're practically sitting ducks. However, when they're not using chips, they always prefer to move when possible. Their main tactic is to roll around and confound the enemy with their speed, then move in and swipe them with their tail, using it like a hook to grab data not directly tied to them, namely Battlechips. They can then use it themselves, at reduced power, as a free action. All other effects of the chips still apply, including pre-requisites to use the chip (i.e. Spice still needs Grass terrain, MachineSword still requires that the enemy be stunned). Higher level Bandcoon are aware of such conditions, and will try to satisfy the requirements if at all possible. If the enemy has no Battlechips, Bandcoons get extremely aggravated, and will ram an enemy in anger and desperation. However, they severely dislike doing this, and will only use this attack as a last resort for when they have no chips.

GaiaGaia (Gaia)

Gaia viruses are top-tier tanking viruses, and thus should never be seen be seen until battle 6 or later in any given thread. Contrary to popular belief, Gaia viruses are mobile. They move at the expense of their own actions, and do so one panel at a time like a chess piece every so often. All Gaia viruses have StoneBody, which they must drop in order to swing their big hammers. After attacking, they re-raise their StoneBody protection. Dropping and raising their defense does not take an action, and can be performed at any time. The rock fall effect of BigHammer attacks does not work unless underground or inside, and the number of rocks dropped is random. Gaia are immune to RockFall and GaiaWave attacks from other Gaia viruses.

-=Battle 1, Start!=-

A second Sparks appeared beside the original, effortlessly compared to the last time he used his clone ability. The last upgrades really had him feeling like a new navi. "Look at this Drago, they didn't waste any time did they. That Gaia looks like a good target for me to send my Pickpocket towards. If you plan on striking it down, please give me the opportunity to snatch it's data first." His clone took off towards the enemies on the left in an attempt to give the group a confusion bonus.

Sparks pointed the shocking sword towards the new opponents, while Joseph in the real world was already uploading a chip to handle the situation, because the electric current was replaced by a sharp wooden katana styled blade. "This is a good choice." The corrupt progs made their way towards Sparks, and Drago to give them their "prizes". Once they were close enough the samurai would attempt a dodge by smoothly moving through the area gap between them.

After his dodge attempt Sparks would turn his newly fashioned WoodKnife, towards the unlucky DarkProgs. Targeting one at a time, he first using only his right hand brought the blade down from above, aiming to split the virus on his right in half, much like an expert lumberjack would split a block of wood. His swordsmanship was always fluid, and in another simple motion the samurai set his right foot as the pivot, while twisting his body unleashing a quick spinning horizontal back slash that would decapitate the floating enemy if it landed.

Two slashes always gave Sparks a little momentum, allowing him to attempt another dodge with less effort. Any attacks that came next, he would attempt do move out of its way in the direction towards the Gaia virus. Hopefully unscathed, Sparks tapped into another chip that his operator slotted in once Sparks made his request earlier. In a poof of smoke, a second Bandcoon appeared on the battlefield, this one tame to its current master. The summoned virus took a quick moment to scan the field, before Sparks commanded, "Go get me that hammer!" The Bandcoon rushed it's target, with a hopeful expression across its face. Would it be successful or return empty handed? Time would tell.

As the viruses advanced on the navis, DragonierMan, Suzume, and Aya activated their battle programs. They were quickly encased in layers of armored scales and protected by translucent bubbles. DragonierMan also sped up his physical alacrity, his senses and movements becoming sharper and quicker. As the trio prepared itself for battle, their ally called out to them. He laid claim to the hefty Gaia virus, wanting to rob it blind.

"This will protect you," Drago said as he attempted to summon a powerful barrier around Sparks. The translucent bubble, if the Bandcoon didn't steal it, would absorb a considerable amount of damage from the enemy in case his ally's evasion did not protect him. With his ally protected, he could concentrate on the offense.

"Let's fly!" he announced. The command was followed and Drago, Suzume, and Aya, spread their wings and took to the air. The three spun upwards into the sky, circling around each other in a twisting formation, and trying to throw off pursuit. Drago broke off from the twins and headed toward the left side of the battlefield, where the Gaia stood. The twins, however, just continued until they hit High-Altitude.

Drago opened a portal as he flew, summoning a fighter plane from The Great Beyond. The roar of a propeller-driven engine made quite a din as another ally entered the airspace above. Drago pointed at the Quaker virus and the little pilot nodded its head. It adjusted its aviators goggles over its face and pitched its plane's nose downward into a dive. As it dove on the Quaker virus, its machine guns lit up. The DAKKA-DAKKA-DAKKA of its guns lit the air with tracer fire as it poured hot lead at the virus.

As the fighter plane pulled up from its dive, Drago aligned himself with the Gaia virus. He tried to align himself with as many viruses as he could between him and the Gaia, his wings adjusting his course, before he dashed towards the virus with all speed. He overclocked himself, his wings folded to his sides to reduce drag, pushing his speed to the limit. A sonic boom cracked behind him as his form blurred to the naked eye. A mach cone formed in front of him as he flew straight toward the Gaia, solidifying into a drill of pure energy. He pierced his way through everything that was between him and the Gaia, viruses and objects alike.

As he made a bee-line towards the Gaia, the sisters were trying to peg down the Bandcoon. They swept targeting lights over the battlefield, trying to paint the quick and nimble virus. When they thought they got a good bead on the enemy they launched their attacks. Explosive shots salvoed forth from their hands (Aya sheathing one sword to free a hand), lighting up the ground with concussive outbursts and searing detonations where the shells fell. If the Bandcoon was gone, deleted by Drago's charge, they would instead be after the Handy virus. If they caught any additional viruses in the blasts of their attacks, more so the better.

As the explosions died down, Drago had probably managed to fly the distance between him and the Gaia virus. He tried to distract the virus as the Pickpocket did its thing. When the Pickpocket cleared, he brought his claymore down hard upon the Gaia's head.

He swung it overhand in a hammer blow. The sword picked up a huge boost of kinetic energy as it fell downward upon the Gaia, flowing around the blade in a brilliant aura. Drago was not trying to cut the virus, but to smash and bash it into rubble. His muscles strained beneath his armor as he brought the claymore down that as it almost shattered the ground beneath the virus. The ground beneath lurched skyward and then dropped like a meteor toward the nearby Volgear (or whatever other virus was nearby). The falling rock crashed into the ground moments later, scattering rubble for some distance.

Drago took a defensive stance with his claymore out in front. His boots shifted from side to side as he dodged and weaved on his feet. Blocking and parrying with his sword.

After some fancy footwork, his sword lit up in a brilliant corona. The blinding fluorescence flashed like a strobe light and would cause everyone, ally and enemy, to cover their eyes in pain. It was like staring directly into a sun.

The first one to act was DragonierMan, who promptly supplemented his teammate with a powerful barrier. Or, well, that should have been what occurred--but instead, something hiding behind one of the flowerbeds darted out, and jumped between the two, somehow intercepting the Barrier chip data and appropriating it for its own uses.

"PLEASE WAIT!" "WE'RE PREPARING OUR HUGS SO STAY PUT, OKAY?!"

The Progs seemed to be staying put for the moment, and so Sparks opted to simply move through, striking out with his flashy green sword. The first strike somehow went wide, but the second struck true, decapitating the Prog where it stood. "H-H-HUu-HUG..." the severed head repeated, before disintegrating into junk data. Meanwhile, DragonierMan summoned up an AirRaid with his spread-out formation, rising to the skies in order to avoid the first round of attacks, which consisted of the melee attackers--the Quaker leaping into the skies and dropping down with a shockwave, the Swordy rushing in for a wide horizontal sword strike, and the Spooky coming in for a cheeky lick. The AirRaid managed a salvo of 5 shots on the the Quaker, leaving it injured, but still in fighting condition.

With the Quaker's attack, it targeted Sparks first, though it unfortunately only managed to find Sparks's decoy, and its shockwave was rendered ineffectual. The Swordy's blade collided against Aya's barrier (B-15), while Suzume managed to move out of the way entirely. The Spooky warped up to Suzume, but its tongue was stopped by her light barrier. (B-10) Even better, none of the attacks even managed to sap the barriers of their integrity enough to destroy them.

While they were in the air, the Beetank and Handy went into action as well, with the Beetank firing a bomb up towards Aya, though its aim missed her entirely, and it fell down to explode uselessly somewhere far under her. The Handy moved to open up a portal in order to place one of its bombs, but before it could do so, DragonierMan swooped in for a powerful charge, managing to hit the Bandcoon, the Quaker, the Spooky, and the Handy in one move. The stolen barrier that the raccoon virus had nicked was useless against the impactful attack, and the others were similarly rent to pieces with little to protect them. As a result, Suzume and Aya's TankCannon duo did little except to devastate already empty land where their previous targets were, with the other viruses staying put where they were.

Sparks then proceeded to summon his Bandcoon to try its hand at stealing the faraway Gaia's hammer. It squeaked in affirmation, and dashed off. The Gaia was still in its statue-like form while it hopped towards the battlefield, and so its hammer was ripe for the picking. The summoned virus gleefully made away with the successful steal, while the virus angrily chased towards it with its hops, already producing another hammer from god-knows-where. It then met the business end of Drago's hammer, which ended its unfortunately short life before it got to do anything. A huge piece of it flew up into the air and brained the approaching Volgear, which was the latest to the fight. It barely escaped deletion, and angrily retaliated with a column of fire directly under DragonierMan, but he managed to avoid it easily, before he raised his sword to blind everyone with a spark of light.

"WAH! I CAN'T SEE?! WHERE DO I HUG?!"

Handy Viruses attack by opening a dimensional gate below themselves, and dropping into it. The exit gate opens next to their destination, and they will rise out of it holding an explosive. This explosive is placed on an unbroken panel, and the Handy is free to move after. The use of gates does not count as teleporting, but can be used as a means of dodging as they attack. Gates are only used when attacking, and at no other time. Handy viruses will not set a new explosive until either a turn has passed, or they pass one action without setting a new bomb, whichever comes first. Dropping and raising their defense does not take an action, and can be performed at any time. used his signature to cloak Sparks in two defensive layers. Hard dragon scales and a bubble-shield would wrap themselves around Sparks if he let them, giving him some protection against the enemy and dangerous terrain. "Let me remove your blindness Sparks!" he bellowed down to his ally as he activated a third signature, healing his wounds and clearing his sight, if Sparks let him. He then spread his wings and took to the sky, "I can't see at the moment, so I am moving out of the way," he said. "I got you sir!" Suzume said as she moved closer and activated her own signature, clearing DragonierMan's sight. Aya continued to move around while in High-Altitude, activating her own signature to clear her own sight.

Since Aya could still see, like Drago, he called out to her. "Aya, get that Beetank! Suzume, defensive actions!" As Suzume sped off, Drago and Aya locked onto the charging DarkProg. Aya swept for the virus with her darklight laser, trying to paint the target for easier aiming. "Pilot! Delete that DarkProg!" he called out to his AirRaid1HP: 100

, who still had a few turns of fuel left, pointing to the sparking DarkProg. The pilot gave a wave before setting its sights on the deranged Mr. Prog. However, the Pilot was still experiencing disorientation due to the glare of light that Drago gave off a minute ago, and was having trouble seeing the DarkProg clearly. The roar of its engine and the din of its machine guns echoed through the air as it dived on the Prog, strafing the area around it as best it could. The bullets pockmarked the landscape, shells raining down, before it began to climb again. If it didn't manage to hit the DarkProg, then Sparks would probably need to deal with it on the ground. Drago and Aya collected energy in their open hands, before blasting at the Beetank with twin bolts from above. The white energy lit up the dark and broken landscape below before smashing into the area of the tank virus. Either bolt would be strong enough to delete the virus outright, the other would cause another hole in the landscape.

"Suzume, cover Sparks!" Drago said as Suzume was still Blinded by the Light. Suzume started looking for Sparks in her haze, while Drago moved to engage the Swordy-N below. Drago sped through the air like a comet, quickly getting to the airspace above the Swordy-N. Aya made some evasive maneuvers while in the sky in case of a counter attack by the Beetank or DarkProg, assuming it survived their assault. She didn't know whether the DarkProg could fly, but she wouldn't leave it to chance. "Sir Sparks, take this!" Suzume said as she shot at Sparks with a beam of light. If Sparks accepted the gift, another field would form around him, below the barrier but above the casing. Assuming they got through the barrier, it would let him strike his enemy dead on the spot with a powerful punch, while protecting him from the attack.

Drago slashed the air in front, and below him, with his sword. The arc of the sword created a wave of icy water above the Swordy-N. It sliced down, through the air, and towards the virus below. The arc of water traveled swiftly down like torrential rain, covering the area in a wide splash of icy liquid that would cut to the bone. Then he went into twisting air patterns in case the Swordy-N tried to use its teleport ability to stage a desperate attack against him. After a few moments of evasion, he did the same thing again. However, instead of icy water, it was a heated inferno of flames that leapt from his sword. A phoenix of fire, crimson wings spread wide, dove from Drago's sword slash and descended upon the Swordy-N. Its talons outstretched.

At the time everything was so fuzzy, it was hard to make out friends from enemies, so of course Sparks greatfully accepted Dragos offer to fire his blindness. "Thank you my friend." Upon hopefully being successfully healed, Sparks once again turned his blade towards the DarkProg that managed to survive the innitial assault. He tried the woodcutting lumberjack slash again, hoping to split the virus in half this time. He didn't stop there though, because he flipped the blade once it was at its lowest point, and relapsed a quick rising slash to finish of the virus if it managed to escape the first one.

Two attacks in and Sparks seen that Drago was commanding his pet jet pilot to attack again. So the samurai evasively dashed towards the weekend Volgear in an attempt to finish it before the AirRaid chip could. While movIng towards the Volgear, the Navi summoned up his duplicate again, with the idea of further confusIng the blind enemies. Once Sparks is was close enough he held the blade horizontally at his left side and tried to run it through the fire spitting virus right through it's center. If that missed then samurai would choose to use the last slash of his BambooKnife to follow up on the Volgear this time with a spinning backslash which would hopefully finish off Sparks bounty had it not already been defeated.

With the entire battlefield blinded due to DragonierMan's shining blade, he and his two sidekicks got to restoring the sight of a few of them, save for Suzume. This allowed Sparks to attack the damaged Prog with his sword with a horizontal strike. "WAAAAH!" exclaimed the DarkProg, as it tried to release its charge, but ended up struck in half instead. The nearby injured Volgear suffered the same fate. Meanwhile, over on the other end, the Beetank received a helping of cannon fire from two ends as it fired off a stray cannon shell into the distance, while the Swordy swung its blade frantically, only to be met with overwhelming elemental force.

Sparks went through the after battle routine of sending Joseph the rewards. "We make a pretty strong team as always." The samurai was full of energy and excitement, the first battle was truely no match for their combined prowess. "You and you're companions are truly powerful allies, shall we continue?"

"Hey guys, we got a BigHammer1 chip from that Gaia, but I'm really interested in their other chip as well. We are probably gonna try to Pickpocket your bounty every time, if that's okay." Joseph's voice came trough the net focused in on Sparks and Drago.

"Yes, more strong chips are always welcome" The samurai replied, but Drago could answer as they headed further in, because Sparks directed his friends to keep moving towards the next battle.

((Requesting battle 2))
DragonierMan gathered the chip data and turned to Sparks. "We both have gained in power lately, don't sell yourself short." Suzume and Aya continued to circle overhead, watching the horizon for any sort of movement, while Sparks' operator talked about stealing more chips from the Gaias overpopulating the NET.

"Sure, you can take first crack at the Gaias," Destin Obscura chimed in. "Although this confusion chip might be too dangerous to use properly. I will have to think about the deployment of such a thing in the future. DragonierMan, continue forward."

"Yes, My Master," DragonierMan said before he turned to Sparks, before hiking forward. "Let's go."

[Requesting Battle 2.]
Flush with the spoils of their victory, the group continued on in search of more of their bounty targets to hunt down. The slightly less used Netopia back ways led them through a variety of old squares and concourses, but they happened upon more viruses son enough. this time, the collection they found seemed to be clustered in a side lot, off the main walkway, that looked badly disused and decrepit. It was a roughly square lot, hammed in by taller structures on the three sides, but as they looked in, it seemed like it might once have been some kind of service station.

To their left, in a neat line on one side, a series of three old, rusty fuel pumps waited, looking like they hadn't seen attention in many years. The ground beneath them glowed faintly and was reinforced, but that hadn't done much to preserve the pump housings themselves, which were rusted and looked less than completely safe... especially if they were hooked up still. At the head of the pumps, nearest Drago and the others, a Gaia statue rested in waiting, though it seemed to come to life a bit more as the group drew near. A short way behind it, a Winger virus hovered between the back two pumps, and took note of the new arrivals.

More towards the centre of the area, a structure that looked somewhat like an old mechanic's service bay appeared to ooze a dark purple liquid from its sunken depression, and it bubbled faintly against the rusted structure. The ground all around the bay was cracked badly, like some kind of leak was degrading the ground over time. A flying UFO hovered above the cenre of the bubbling poison, scanning it, but it stopped when the navigators appeared.

A number of other viruses also resided in the are, a scattered about. One looked to be painting the ground contentedly near the back wall, while another the was bouncing a puck back and forth to itself on the other side. A couple wearing caps looked eager for mischief, a Volgear on its own to the right, while one particularly aggressive blazer skidded up in a spin that stopped just in front of Drago and the others, so it could blow a circle of fire towards them in a threatening manner.

Sparks surveyed the new area with his decoy duplicate appearing at his side. Ten new enemies graced his vision. "PickPocket battle chip in, download." From the real world Joseph sent his navi the first chip. As long as Drago was teaming with Sparks while it had the Gaia bounty, they would always start out by trying to send the Bandcoon to get it's powerful chips.

Sparks summoned his furry little virus friend, if it wasn't stolen by the UFO, and sicked it on the stone covered Gaia. If they were lucky, just like last time it wouldn't be hard for the Bandcoon to swoop in and make a clean steal with an easy get away. The thief dashed towards the enemy, did it's best to grab what it could then swooped off to safety.

"LineOut2, battlechip in, download!"

With the new chip in hand, Sparks pushed forward, sending his clone to run further ahead of him in the attempt of drawing the viruse's attention. The samurai did a neat little evasive jump to get a little closer to the Blazer. Hoping to delete it before its attack, Sparks stepped right in it's path and activated his data. A powerful flamey magically appeared in front of him and began shooting itself through the ground and back demolishing everything it could touch in line. Sparks goal was to line the Blazer up with the RedUFO, and send his new pet two destroy them and anything else in between.

Upon finishing that attack, he knew that the enemies would be keen on him being the real one, so he took another evasive move. This time jumping back towards were the group started from. Hopefully this would keep him out of harms way. "Now show me what you got." The samurai was cocky waiting on his enemies counter attacks. "You stand up... and we will cut you back down."

DragonierMan, Suzume, and Aya armored up. As DragonierMan became quicker and more perceptive, he pointed to the highest concentration of viruses. "Release the dragons!" DragonierMan produced a large pot in front of him carved with the likeness of a dragon. The twins nodded and produced two more pots. Drago nodded back before placing his right foot on the pot lid. "Get out of the way Sparks! We are about to bring the storm." He raised three fingers, and counted down on them, giving Sparks time to move away. Suzume and Aya put one foot on each of their pots, and painted the targets in front of them with multi-colored light, before the count reached its conclusion. As one, the three tipped the pots forward to spill their contents towards the mass of viruses. Three roaring, screaming dragons came out of the pots and charged across the battlefield towards the viruses. A grassy green dragon, leaving grass growing in its wake; followed by a flaming red dragon, melting the ground into lava in its wake; followed by a watery blue dragon, leaving a river behind it. The three rampaged toward the mechanic bay and fuel pumps, heading towards the tastiest concentration of viruses.

"Scatter!" Drago shouted out as the dragons raged about in front of them. The three spread their wings and took to the air. Suzume and Aya went straight up into High-Altitude while DragonierMan went toward the right side of the battlefield. All three twisted, and turned sharply, and flew in zig-zag patterns in order to avoid viral attacks. As Drago drawed the virus attention towards the far right side, the twins tried to get as far away from the melee as they could. Some of the enemies could chase them into the sky, and that is just what they wanted. They wanted to split the viruses up so they couldn't form a united front against the navis.

As Drago moved toward the right, he opened up a portal beside him, and summoned his pilot ally. The roar of the plane's engine made quite the din as Drago pointed toward the RedUFO (V1), "Light 'em up!" he commanded. The pilot made a saluting gesture before it turned the plane towards the alien space craft. It was an epic battle. The pilot pushed his aircraft to the limit as it went after the RedUFO (V1), unloading salvo after salvo of bullets at the space craft. The RedUFO (V1) was a quick and nimble adversary, able to turn on a dime if it wanted, so the allied pilot would need to keep getting targeting data from DragonierMan, as it used its extensive training to outfly the alien.

The twins, Suzume and Aya, having reached High-Altitude, take on defensive positions. Suzume tries to use her rapier to deflect an attack, while Aya crosses her swords in front of her as a protective shield. They flap their wings and slowly circle above, keeping a watchful eye on the viruses below, hoping to avoid their attacks. Meanwhile, Drago rushes the Gaia virus, plowing through the concentration of viruses the far right area towards the near left. Drago dashed towards the virus with all speed, overclocking himself again. Once more his wings folded to his sides to reduce drag, almost wrapping themselves around him like a cloak, pushing his speed to the limit. A sonic boom cracked behind him as his form blurred to the naked eye. A cone of energy forming in front of him as he flew straight toward the Gaia, solidifying into a familiar drill. He pierced his way through everything that was between him and the Gaia, viruses and objects alike. But hopefully just viruses.

He brought his claymore down hard upon the Gaia's head, once more swinging it downward with both hands gripped. His sword picked up a huge boost of kinetic energy as it fell downward upon the Gaia, flowing around the blade in the brilliant aura of a GodHammer2Damage: 140 + Break + Impact / 70 + Drop Attack

battlechip. Drago smashed his sword through where the virus occupied and into the rubble. His muscles strained beneath his armor as the ground almost shattered beneath the virus. A part of the ground lurched skyward and then dropped like a meteor toward the nearest virus (which might be the Blazer). The falling rock crashed into the ground moments later, scattering rubble for some distance.

Drago then shifted his stance, his feet floated over the ground as he moved to align a few viruses together. Energy spun around his sword as he brought it forward in another heavy blow, a giant rocky fist launching from the blade like a bullet. It smashed a wide area as it flew out at the Gaia and nearby viruses, cracking the panels it landed on with its weight and power. With the various elemental dragons and giant rock fists, the Brushman's holy panels were probably all broken up. Assuming it survived, it would have a lot of work to do.

The group only needed a quick moment to survey the scene before they all leap into rapid action in response to the new foes' aggressive behaviour. Well, some of their aggressive behaviour anyway. Some of them seemed pretty placid, but, well, what were you going to do? Sparks sent his thieving ally to harass the Gaia once more, though it seemed to have a much harder time getting its paws on anything useful this time around. While the others prepared to strike, the Blazer took a spinning flurry of flames at the collection of navis and SPs, but between its wild spinning and the natural evasiveness of its targets, it didn't manage to burn a single one of them.

That was all there was time for before Drago and his girls unleashed their favourite method of cleaning up the insignificant detritus of viruses that were, to be frank, a bit below their capabilities. The onrush of dragons strove across the ground one after another, each adopting slightly different paths to find the largest clusters as they'd been instructed. The forest dragon, first, devoured the Blazer in one bite, somehow managed to miss the Volgear, charged through the Gaia to seemingly little effect and then crashed through the line of old pumps as it bite for the Winger behind. The puppet virus whisked upwards, high and away before the dragon could bit it, so the summoned creature contented itself spending the last of its energy to dash to the Brush-wielding virus at the back and attack it instead. As it did, the painter dabbed the ground beneath it, causing light to shine, and the protective panel let it survive the attack, fierce as it was.

With several foes eliminated, the fire dragon that followed found its best choice of path slightly changed, and instead it charged forward, up the centre of the area, once again, oddly failing to strike the Volgear, but making up for it as it bit through both of the cap-wearing viruses, obliterated the poison-spewing bay and curled back on itself to bite that the Billy. The electric virus managed to jump back just enough, but the dragon managed a final gasp across to the injured brush and put it out of its suffering before fading away. Each of the two BombBoys had just finished summoning their explosives when the dragon immolated them, and the bombs remained on the field, only slightly damaged, and with no-one around to push them. Quite sad, really.

The final Dragon Had the longest to assess its path, and picked a line that would take it first through the nearby Volgear, then to the back to spend the last of its terrain changing power dousing the Billy and the Dharma. Defying the odds and, frankly, making quite a spectacle now, the Volgear remained unharmed, though the same couldn't be said of the other two.

Only a moment had passed, and Drago and his girls were backing off and flying up to assess the situation once the dragons cleared. Much of the field had been wiped clear already, two of the three old pumps had been brutalised, and now spewed geysers of rusty-looking fuel up into the air. The bay in the middle had also been crushed badly and was spewing poisoned waters instead. Just as Sparks Released his own line of scorching fire to join the fray, the UFO shrilled in panic, and twisted, corkscrewing high into the air to get away from the devastation below. The line of fire bored through beneath it, missing, but its new altitude only made it a more appealing target for the fighter pilot that Drago summoned in. A frantic dogfight quickly ensued, with the UFO fleeing back and forth above the battlefield, attempting to escape the cross-hairs of the gunner, but its ship grew steadily more pockmarked by gunfire until, at last, something burst from the side of the ship in a gout of fire and smoke, and it crashed down to the ground ... coincidentally directly into the one remaining pump station, promptly causing the entire line to detonate as the fuel caught and created what would likely be a long-burning inferno.

With an eye to adding more to the fire, The Volgear, still unharmed amidst the carnage, focused its sights on Sparks, the only foe still grounded, and tried to guess which one of the two figures was real. In the end, it unleashed a broad attack that could easily have struck them both... only it seemed to have aimed primarily for Sparks' decoy, and thus made the quick dodge a very easy one for the real navi to make. As it finished attack, and blew steam over the fact that Sparks was unharmed, it was swiftly blind-sided by the rushing form of Drago, tearing across the field and finally putting paid to the formerly lucky virus. His charge continued through and took him right up to the Gaia, though for now the attack that he raked it with didn't get through its hard body.

The Gaia turned, raised its hammer, and attempted to smash Drago for his impudence, but the dragonier was far to nimble, avoiding the heavy stroke and swiftly answering it with a brutally powerful hammer stroke of his own. The Gaia was reduced to rubble and the strike sent a few chunks of rock into the air. For a moment it looked like it might put a neat end to the fight, but the Winger managed, just barely, to avoid being struck out by the extruded rocks and survived, for now. Of course, that was why one always came prepared with an excessive amount of overkill. just as the final virus was counting its luck, a massive, grossly oversized fist of stone crashed down through the air and crushed it into the ground with extremely judicious force.
