A swan across a lake

With only one last target remaining here, Pirouette turned back to see the final turret eyeing her up again. She sighed and set her shoulders, then dashed towards it quickly, ducking low and with her wings folded in tight as the shield swung around her body to cover her front. The quill extensions on the back of her calves had all but worn out, but they still had one more good motion in them, she measured, and it would be best to make sure it counted. Her eyes locked while she ran, gaze steady as practiced form kept her sight still. As she reached the virus, the ballerina rolled her shoulder and kicked off, spinning in the air and flaring her wings upright as she completed the second turn. Her leading leg struck out and downwards perpendicular to the angle of her body, striking towards the open mouth of the virus. As she landed on her other toe, pirouette leaned her body to turn the momentum, chest forward and her presenting leg out firm as she moved into the form of her own namesake, spinning again quickly before the turret could close up again. This spin elicited a small wave of energy pulsing out from her body in al directions, and it was a sensation that made her smile briefly despite the frustrating situation.

She finished facing it, or at least that was her aim. With any luck it would be enough to silence the virus finally, and she wouldn't need to wait around for another phase of time while it hid away... she had really hoped to have already been moving on by this point.

Summary

P1) Feint (or dodge if it's close enough, towards the HotHead)
P2) Taking Aim
P3) RageClaw1Damage: 40 + Slashing (Attack) OR 20 + Impacting (Throw)
Accuracy: B / B then B
Description: Creates an impressive bear claw. Can be used to slash or throw enemies or objects.
Duration: Until Overridden/Broken. Breaks automatically after 6 uses.
Element: Null
Special: Throw: The wielder must first grab the target to be thrown, then the target is thrown in the direction/area indicated. A second check is made if against another object/enemy. Throw deals damage to both thrown object/enemy and the second object/enemy. Damage occurs at point of collision with the ground/wall/ceiling/etc. or an object/enemy, not during initial grab attempt. Objects deal their max HP in damage (instead of the chip's damage) if they hit an object/enemy, then break. If they miss, the object just takes the chip's damage. This chip has a variety of uses.

With the final turret already getting ready to fire its next shot, Pirouette darted out towards it and jumped into a spin, landing a neat strike into its open maw with her powerful legs. Oddly enough, the sensation of the turret's insides was not at all metallic, it felt rather soft, in fact. The cannonball that was about to be fired from it released a brief puff of steam before it melted inside the HotHead's mouth, and the virus itself disintegrated into junk data. Unfortunately for the Navi, any scavenging efforts would turn up blank, as only zenny data remained. All in all, she'd had spent a lot of time at this junction, and it would be most prudent for her to leave towards her destination.

Pirouette took an extra moment to compose herself, ruffling her wings, running fingers across her hair and brushing her tu-tu, none of which really needed visible attention. that done she turned from the now viral-free scene and swiftly returned to the path she'd been following when she crossed it.

"That delay took much longer than I would have liked. I must hurry now. I do not like it, but I may need to leave any other virus issues to others, if I wish to make the seminar on time, you know?" Despite her words, her eyes still scanned her immediate surrounds as she ran, toe points lightly gliding over the land as she followed the direction map she'd checked earlier. She was almost there now, at least.

"Do what you think is best, lebedёnok. I will keep an eye on you." Mikhail's voice carried the sense of a knowing smile and she grinned to herself for a moment before smoothing her features again with a nod.

((Ready for battle 3))
Having been very much set back by the roadblock that was set up by the HotHeads and the Sparky viruses, Pirouette finally came across the last stretch of area for her to reach her designated destination, from which she had been set back so unceremoniously. Said area divided her current location from her destination with a deep chasm, with a rather nice-looking bridge connecting the two areas. The bridge was simple yet attractive, with a small pulsing line designating its status as an important thoroughfare, some decorative floating light orbs on either end of the bridge, and a small sign next to the bridge on her end, pointing ahead to denote where it led to.

Unfortunately for her, it appeared that some unsavory folk had taken over the bridge. A diminuitive purple-hatted virus with a tiny pair of shades and a black suit was barking some orders to a trio of different types of viruses. One of them was an angry-looking kettle-shaped virus, another was a very rotund-looking robot with a snapback hat and cool sunglasses, and the last was a... lumpy bag made out of brown camouflage fabric, with a clearly fake-looking bird on a fake branch. Pirouette's steps alerted the purple-hatted leader to her presence, and it immediately turned around to see her. Its subordinates(?) tensed up, seemingly showing open hostility to the intruder.

However, in an unexpected turn of events, the purple-hatted leader laughed in its own viral twitter, and tapped its tiny foot with a sense of authority. With this action, the other three seemed to back down a little, but still seemed pretty wary. The leader virus with the big hat waved a tiny arm in dismissal at Pirouette, and continued its orders, pointing at the bridge's center. If Pirouette were to direct her attention there as well, she would see that there was a rather precarious-looking crack all the way across the midsection of the bridge, threatening to split it in half. From the composition of the group, one could very much guess at what they were intending to do.

BigHatBigHat (BigHat)

BigHats only attack a max of once per turn. The rest of their remaining actions are spent moving or dodging, a skill in which they are only average at best. BigHats only attack a second time if the FlashBomb they threw on that turn is somehow destroyed before the end of the turn, and they have an action remaining for the turn. FlashBombs thrown by BigHats do not harm viruses at all when they explode. The effect of FlashBomb cannot be dodged, but it can be blocked by defenses you can take cover behind, such as objects and Guards. Chip generated barriers and auras also prevent the effect, but signature generated defenses of these types will not. As FlashBomb is a light based attack, it has slashing to pierce Shadow, and Seeking to pierce Invis (note that dodging alone does nothing, so Invis will not help here anyway).

KettleKettle (Kettle)

Kettle do not attack unless and until they are attacked. This behavior does not count as a Counter or a Trap. It's simply what they do. Moving and dodging require actions, while retaliating against attacks does not. All Kettle have passive Regen. When this virus is attacked with non-Fire Damage below its max HP, it will boil over to attack nearby enemies with Aqua Damage equal to the damage taken. This effect does not damage allies. If the damage is greater than or equal to its current HP, the virus is also deleted after the counter attack. If not, the Kettle will regenerate a portion of its HP and continue on as normal. When this virus is attacked with Fire Damage, it will boil over to attack nearby allies dealing exactly its max HP in Aqua Damage. This effect will not damage enemies. The virus is automatically deleted after boiling over in this case.

BombBoyBombBoy (BombLab)

BombLab viruses attack by summoning a huge cube-shaped explosive, called a BoyBomb. They push this bomb towards their enemies, using it as cover against incoming fire as they do so. It takes a BombLab virus an action to summon a BoyBomb, and another 2 to push it into attack range of the enemy. Once the explosive is in range, it will explode the very next turn. BoyBombs have StoneBody, and can be moved with special abilities, such as Knockback, Microburst, Pull, Gravity, and Telekinesis. BoyBombs will explode if physically picked up, however (EX: Rageclaw or similar means). Bomb Lab viruses jump, not teleport, back to their starting position after setting the BoyBomb.

-- Encounter 3 Ready! Go!! --
Finally on her way, it didn't take Pirouette very long to reach what ought to have been the last turning towards her destination. Unfortunately, things weren't prepared to stay easy for her, and the only way through was obstructed by more viruses. She saw them as she ran towards the bridge, and paused at the entrance to bite her lip. She'd said that she'd have to just bypass them, and leave the issue to others, but getting past these ones would almost take as much effort as dealing with them, and worse, when she looked closer, it seemed like their destructive intent wasn't going to wait around for anyone else to come and stop them.

"Mikhail, I will need your help again. It will not take long, but, they are trying to destroy the bridgeway here, and I must..." Mikhail's soft chuckle came back and she felt him upload a chip to her systems.

"Yes, I see my little one. Hurry now, do not let them do any more damage, yes?" She nodded, a small affirmative sound in her throat as the familiar sensation of feather quills growing out form the backs of her legs set in. There wasn't any time to be careful here, so she didn't wait, or even take the time to give them a warning, as she might otherwise have done. This lot were clearly intent on destruction anyway, so a warning would be wasted effort.

Instead, she leapt into the middle of their group and spun low attempting to grab the first virus in the spiked crook of her leg. She rose from the first turn, leaping and twisting to throw her target away from the cracked section, hopefully over the edge of the bridge and into oblivion. the main thing was getting them away from the section that was already damaged.

Her momentum continued as she landed on the toe point of her first leg and extended the other, crouching low again and picking up sped as she repeated the action, in an effort to snag a second target. Provided the quill spikes managed to get purchase and dig in, she repeated the manoeuvre, rising from the turn jumping up and twisting her body to release at the peak and fling it off the bridge as well. twice more she repeated the action, spinning and twirling amongst the bridge-destroying foes, doing her best to grab and eject each of them from the bridge before they could do further harm. By chance of order, the kettle virus was the last one she attempted to move in this manner, though Pirouette herself was mostly focused on keeping her form steady and precise. She was used to the practice of proper rotation and landed neatly after her fourth leap, toes one in front of the other on the edge of the cracked section, ready to assess how effective her first instinctive actions had been.

Having no interest in actually fighting the viruses head-to-head, Pirouette chose to simply throw the road warriors overboard, as she was sent the RageClaw chip and equipped it onto the back of her legs once again. With their attention mostly focused on their leader, Pirouette dashed towards them in an attempt to throw them overboard. However, the camouflage bag-wearing virus was quick to discern her intent, and barely managed to duck out of the way, causing Pirouette's leg to skim over it. The other viruses were caught off guard as Pirouette hooked onto them one by one and sent them careening into the chasm with a distinct yell. Seeing its comrades fly over the edge, the Dynamite flung a grenade towards Pirouette. However, it didn't seem to explode as it went near her; instead, it emitted a faint laser that crossed in front of her and slightly towards her left, barely missing her foot.

At the end of her first series of rapid spins, Pirouette paused to check on what viruses were still left to threaten the integrity of the bridge. She held pose on the ball of one foot, with her striking leg bent and up, heel pressed in against her inner thigh and wings stiff. Practised poise left her perfectly still and perfectly balanced as she drew a long, steady breath. The stillness was helpful not only for getting her bearing, but also, it turned out, in preventing her from triggering exactly what she was hoping to prevent. She looked down at the sensor beam running dangerously close to her grounded foot, then sniffed softly in dismissal.

With luck she could deal with the remainder quickly without any further risk to the bridge, its signage, or its other decorations. She darted forward a step, moving precisely along the line of the beam just to one side of it, until she could more precisely strike the poorly camouflaged virus.

Her wings fluttered softly this time as she kicked off with the step she'd taken to leap and rotate her body at an angle. The striking leg snapped out as it came down at a diagonal towards the lumpy bag, and as she landed on her toe point, Pirouette bend the knee all the way down to continue the spin into a second ground-level sweep. The extra force she put into the movements saw the already worn out quills on her legs splinter away and dissolve, but the ballerina still had some energy to expend and rose to her full height again smoothly. She had to put her other toe down briefly to restart her momentum, but each small tap of her display leg to the ground added another measure of speed to the quick pirouettes she began to turn, arms lifting high above her head now and wings arched high alongside.

Mikhail had already read the girl's movements and passed her the chip that followed, and a series of swirling winds quickly formed around her body, gaining speed as she did. At its peak, Pirouette jumped once, arms fanning as her display leg flared out and the growing windstorm was lifted up, before curving over to crash down onto her target. She landed in place, coming to a perfectly still stop and bringing her arms in to a folded position at her waist while she waited for the wind to clear.

With both of the spins hitting, the extra Typhoon chip only added insult to injury as the Dynamite virus flew into the air and disintegrated into junk data. Behind her, the beeping started to slow down before stopping entirely, but the grenade itself remained, ready to be converted to Battlechip data. Unfortunately, with all the others hurled into the chasm beneath the bridge, there was no retrieving anything from them any time soon.

Area: Kotobuki Town, Netopia, NetVegas

HP: 100
Attack Damage/Effect: 10 Null + Blind + Slashing + Seeking + Stun + To-All-Clause
Attack Accuracy: S
Attack Description: Throws bomb that explodes in one turn in a flash.

Area: Netopia, Beach

HP: 100 Degrees
Attack Damage/Effect: Variable Damage Aqua (Max 100) + Nova4
Attack Accuracy: C
Attack Description: Boils over and releases geyser explosion when attacked. Boil-over damage never exceeds the virus' max HP. See Notes for more details.
Element: None
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): LittleBoiler1, Zenny
Special: Regen(50): Passively recovers 50 HP every action.
: THE
BombBoyBombBoy (BombLab)

With the viral presence cleared, Pirouette paused an extra moment to look the bridge over and ensure that all was well. Her eyes lingered on the cracked and damaged patches, but there wasn't anything else she could really do to fix them up, that wouldn't risk making matters worse. She frowned at the damage and vaguely considered her one terrain altering option for a moment, but shook her head and discarded the idea a moment later; she didn't have any way to restrain the process once it started, and it would replace far more of the bridge's structure than needed it. Oh well.

Pressing on swiftly, Pirouette checked the time and breathed a short sigh of relief; just in time still, it seemed. She wasn't far and arrived at the venue just as most of those attending had noted their credentials and made their way inside. It only took a moment for her to sign in as Mikhail's navi and find a seat.

About two hours worth of performance demonstration and discussion-oriented seminar later, Pirouette double checked her personal notes and the recordings. Overall it had been an interesting presentation, with some interesting ideas and discussions, and she was sure that Mikhail would also enjoy reviewing it when he wasn't busy with school work. She took a few moments to walk along the raised walkway outside the hall and breath in the cool night air, but her head was still mostly full of highly technical ballet thoughts.

"Ah, I see you are done Pirouette? I finished up my work just a short while ago. How were the talks?" Mikhail's voice joined her as she looked up at the dark sky above. She smiled and stretched, shaking out her wings as she did.

"I am glad I attended. There was much for thinking, you know? I have recorded it for you, and taken some notes on my own as well." She wandered a little further from the hall, content to enjoy the evening atmosphere for a little while longer.

"Excellent! Is there anything else you would like to do, Pirouette? I am looking forward to discussing it with you, but I think this warrants a fresh cup of coffee and a proper sit down, no? Shall I bring you out now?" Silently, she nodded, then spoke up more clearly.

"Yes, I think I am ready to return now. I am—"

((Ready for battle 4))
After attending the seminar and having gathered a veritable trove of ballet knowledge, Pirouette readied herself to be transferred back to her PET for some well-deserved rest. The walkway outside was rather peaceful, and she enjoyed it after the few battles that she had gone through. With her idle walking, she met upon a T-junction in the road, with a large signpost in front of her denoting the areas on either side. One side of the sign said "NetSquare", and the other said "NetCastle Area". However, she wasn't quite in the mood to stay for very long, and decided to get ready to leave. However, just as she was preparing to leave, a set of shrill cries echoed from far off to her right side. Before she knew it, a squad of high-speed Fishy viruses zoomed by her, accompanied by the sound of mad cackling. Upon their backs were some high-level Brushman viruses that left a trail of poisonous swamp in their wake, covering a large portion of the road with its noxious fumes. One of them had even run straight through the sign in front of her, though it revealed a floating green mystery data crystal!

However, she wouldn't get to activate the crystal just yet, as one more Fishy appeared before her. This one was a little different, though, as it was ridden by a lower level Brushman, and its spiky feathers were red in color. As its rider tried to control it, it rebelled by spinning about in a circle, letting out a trail of fire behind it as it did so. Its antics were much to the dismay of its Brushman rider, which was struggling just to keep itself on the virus' back. It also seemed to have attracted a few little critters, in the form of a swarm of Maru viruses. These floating spheres of electricity dawdled along right behind the red Blazer and its rider, watching the spectacle with beady black eyes. Eventually, the Blazer got tired of spinning in place to shake off its rider. Seeing Pirouette nearby, it then resolved to take out its frustrations on the Navi instead, locking its sights on her and revving its flaming wings!

Pirouette found her thoughts cut short as the area was invaded by a sudden drive-by of very ill-mannered viruses. She watched them pass without finishing her sentence, then focused more closely on the ones that had followed after and remained behind, causing damage to the area as they went. Her wings bristled softly and she frowned.

"A moment, Mikhail, please. It looks like this area of the net has one more mess for me to assist in cleaning up before I return." She took a long, slow breath as she surveyed, then bit her lip. "I may regret this, but I think it better not to leave such valuables where they might get damaged, you know? Mikhail, I may need all of your help, if this becomes too dangerous, yes? Hopefully it will not take long." As she spoke, Pirouette reached out to lay and hand on the data crystal and retrieved its data before anything else on the field could destroy it. There was always a risk in doing so, she knew, but at the rate the fiery one was blowing off flames, she didn't like the chances of the crystal remaining safe where it was. Mikhail sounded a little more focused as he answered.

"Of course. I am watching properly now. Be careful my dear." She nodded once then took a quick step back from where she'd touched the crystal, moving lightly on her toes as she tried to keep everything in sight at once. The fist chip from Mikhail was her ore defensive one, just in case, and the point of light resolved into the same fan of reinforced swan feathers from before, forming a solid shield just above and behind her wings. She gestured with one hand as it formed, sweeping the guard down and around in front of her, to face towards the most immediately threatening viruses while she set her pose, preparing for what threatened to become another longer-than-hoped-for scuffle.

She then dodged backward just as the Blazer rushed her down. The Blazer spun around near her, releasing a gout of flames to torch her, but Pirouette dodged that. The Brushman took a moment to dip his brush down and painted a glowing Holy panel below the Blazer. Though the Blazer was currently not sitting on the panel, so there wasn't much protection being offered.

As Pirouette brought up her shield to guard her, the three Maru rushed forward to attack. They all spit bullets of electricity as they came up from behind the Blazer. The first bolt hit the shield, causing a reflective ray to launch out and tag all five viruses (-15 per virus). The second one hits Pirouette. As she is shocked, she notices that the blast left some residual electricity in her system that she could now control. She could probably imbue some electricity into the next Null Element attack she uses. The third bolt attack against her misses.

Pirouette than heals herself (+6 to Pirouette), and then tries to cure herself, but there isn't anything to get rid of.

With the data crystal safely stored away and protected from the more destruction-happy viruses around about, Pirouette was able to turn her attention to the things actively destroying the street. she wasn't quite quick enough to avoid the initial assaults as she pulled back from retrieving the data, but the after-effect of the broken code that assailed her didn't seem too detrimental for now. The sparks still drew a soft gasp from the ballerina and she took an extra moment to stabilise her pose. Her eyes darted as her wings retained a stiff, alert poise.

"We do not have very much in the way of combat chips, do we, Mikhail? I have not had to fight so much in a long, long time, but it makes we aware of the shortage, you know?" She darted a couple of steps along the safe area while Mikhail answered in a resigned tone.

"Yes, little one, but we have enough to take care of small problems like this. I will send you what else we have, yes?" She nodded to herself, retuning a small affirmative sound as she did, and crouched slightly, waiting for the chip data to fully reach her. When it resolved, she kicked up, pulling one leg and knee in tight as she turned and flaring the other outwards in an initial spin that landed on her opposite toe point, and completed with several more quick rotations, aided by the rhythmic flex and curl of her leading leg. the accompanying typhoon of scouring wind almost felt familiar at this point, though it did make the young woman lament quietly the lack of options her current arsenal presented.

When the cone of wind had formed fully around her, she raised both arms above her head to a point and extended her leading leg directly up as well, pointing the toe skyward until the ankle stretched well above her raised fingertips. It was, it had to be said, moments like these that led some detractors to question the thinness of ballerina's leotards and the stiffness of their tu-tus.... fortunately no-one of note was around to pass judgement.

The wind storm rose off her body, curved around in the air, and then descended over the Blazer and BrushMan duo in an obscuring storm of debris. As it howled, the girl brought her leg down and back, leaning forward with her chest and bending at the hip to balance the motion, her arms drifting out to either side while she waited for the electrical trio to come at her again.

When they did, she closed her eyes and spun again more sharply, not specifically targeting any of the incoming viruses, but rather focusing instead on spreading the wave of force that came from her swift turn.

"Hmm... They are slippery little things, are they not? Try this one, dear. It may work, it may not, but we shall see, no?" She nodded again at Mikhail's words as she felt the residual pulses of her regeneration flowing through her. The chip that arrived next was one she'd only used a few times, but she knew roughly how it worked. A small jumping kick ended with her leading toe point tapping the ground firmly, and giving rise to a moderately large cube that rose up and lifted her briefly. Pirouette herself jumped back, dismounting from it as it floated up and began to spin and flash, deciding which way its randomiser would fall. As it decided, she subtly ran her status program again; for now she opted to leave the electrical glitch that was really only giving her the opportunity to enhance something, but if any of the maladies that the glitched viruses could inflict were of the detrimental sort, those would be her main focus.

Having a rather meagre amount of offensive measures didn't stop the Operator-Navi duo as Pirouette wound up for another attack, this time imbued with the power of the Typhoon chip. With the grace of her rapid spinning technique, she produced a powerful, but localized whirlwind, which bore down upon the Brushman rather quickly before it could react, shredding it up into junk data without mercy. Its former mount was now free to dash towards her with impunity, and spun about before her once again with its flaming conflagration. Fortunately, she managed to avoid it, as well as one of the blasts of electricity sent her way from the Maru. Unfortunately, two more hit her square in the thighs, causing a slight bit of discomfort to her. (-15x2, Glitchx2!) However, her quick, controlled movements, as well as her breathing, allowed her to recover shockingly quickly. A little too well, even, as she felt her legs fill with vigor that she hadn't felt in them before.

Attacking once again with a ripping spin attack, she managed to cut the Blazer in front of her, but no more than that, as the Maru had kept their distance this time around with their attacks, even as they erratically danced around with their unbridled energy. The next chip, however, would be a little more powerful than that, as Pirouette summoned a flashing cube with a jumping kick and a tap on the floor. It revolved around mysteriously, spitting out red and green lights intermittently, until it settled on the red light, which fired out powerfully towards all of the viruses present. Oddly enough, one of the lasers went right through a Maru harmlessly, though its comrades were less fortunate. The electrical discharge that she had suffered from them earlier were quickly mended with her tightly controlled breathing and calculated movements.

Pirouette had to take a small secondary step back from the edge of the poisoned area and steady herself again as more of the irksome electrical bolts sent tingling sensations through her legs. she blinked a few times, frowning. There was an increasing build up of odd little anomalies the more she interacted with these viruses, but none of them had been particularly harmful yet. The real problem was that she was just about out of useful chips to use, and the viruses seemed determined to keep their distance between taking shots at her. She took a settling breath and rolled her shoulders.

"Mikhail, what have we left for now?" She lifted one toe cautiously curling the knee as she fixed her eyes on the Blazer, and the electrical virus behind it.

"Not much, I'm afraid, little one. There are the claws, but I doubt you wish to move across that harmful terrain, and there is the explosive chip you gained just recently, before the seminar... but I do not think you wish to cause more damage that you are preventing, no?" Mikhail's voice was apologetic and Pirouette just nodded.

"We will see if they wish to stay a little closer then, before we do anything else, I think. I will deal with them. A moment."

She let out the breath firmly, hen twisted her body with a sudden flash of movement, bending low as her raised leg kicked, then turned over for a second flick, before she jumped lightly to fan the other toe point out in the same direction and land on her first foot. A series of three small energy waves cut out from the action, streaking towards the blazer first, and the Maru behind it. They were only very slim, light bolts of energy, but enough to either dispatch what remained of them, or at least coax them to come in closer. as she landed, she focused her energy back to her centre, then turned once more, making a quick arabesque that rotated through to send out a final flare of energy in a ring from her leading leg; she was banding on at least one of the viruses closing the distance between them again, but if they didn't she might have to seriously review her options for finishing things off.

When Piouette began her assault, the Blazer attempted to try and fly it's way out of the way of her shot, but far too slow to avoid it, it was plinked off with little fanfare. The Maru on the other hand attempted to get up in the navi's face after the Blazer's untimely demise, only to take one shot to the face with the second barely missing it due to it's small size and then promptly be blown up by the navi's last attempts to end the battle.

Afterwards, a pile of zenny could be found sitting on top of the Holy panels in front of her...as well as what looked to be a paintbrush left over from the Brushman's junked data...maybe the navi could make some sort of chip out of it?

As the scene finally quieted, Pirouette lowered her leg and assumed a pose of closure, hands returning to clasp neatly at her waist as she came down from the tips of her toe points and back to the balls of her feet. That was that, then. With a small gesture of one hand and a neat curtsey, the ballerina drew in the remaining scraps of data and broken fragments to assist in cleaning up the street, and transferred the useful bits back to Mikhail, but her brow furrowed as she rose again, frowning at the damaged street itself. It would take a while for all that poisonous damage to revert, but there wasn't really anything she could do about it that wouldn't be just as problematic. It would need to be something she notified some more effective authority of, perhaps.

"All is well, my dear? Shall I pull you out now?" Mikhail sounded calm and relaxed, but there was a small note of relief on his voice now that the battle was dealt with and the damage recovered. Pirouette looked over the melted and poisoned roadway one more time.

"Yes, but, give me just a moment more, Mikhail. I would like to report the details of this damage swiftly, so that it does not inconvenience anyone else. It will only take me a moment. I must just remain long enough to record the details and location data." She turned her back to the poisonous area and leaned on the rail, smoothing her tu-tu behind her back and resettling her wings as she did. It would only take a moment to file the damage report with the local authority, and then that would be the limit of her ability to help. A few seconds passed in silence as she filled out the report and Mikhail sorted through the fresh chip data she had sent back.

((Ready for Battle 5))
A wind could be felt as Pirouette continued her way through the network, a simple cleaning of the network, nothing could go wrong, right? Well, that would be until she came across a rather deep chasm in front of her, several bridges made of normal panels across it's length, farther than the dancer could see. Then the wind could be felt kicking up even more, more and more, wrapping around her slender form. Before a navi in a crimson red cloak appeared out of the air above her, letting out a womanly, annoying laugh, sitting on a ball of wind that made the bottom of her cloak flutter up and down wildly. The unidentified navi would let out another laugh as she would swoop in for a closer look.

Her body filled out and mature, hood covering her face with an inky black darkness, barring a few strands of pink hair and golden glowing eyes, the navi covered in what appeared to be a modified purple navi suit, the woman having ripped away the arms from the navi suit, turning it into more a halter top than anything, baring her mid-section and belly button, with the legs ripped off the bottoms, turning them into hot pants with a pair of pink colored high heels to complete the "outfit" so to speak. With chocolate colored skin and what seemed to be obviously fake nails colored a crimson red, the navi floated around Pirouette as under her hood, she flashed what could only be a malicious smile.

Well, well, well, HELLOOOO darling~ She began to speak, a mature sounding, if annoying, voice. Not every day I see a navi as cute as you, darling. Specially not deleting viruses with such...vigor. Not to mention elegance such as yourself~ She continued, winking at the dancer navi flirtatiously. I was wondering. Since you're the first navi I have come across that catches my eye, could you do a little something. I have a friend who wants to test their strength. They're new and wanted a chance to have a -real- net battle. He's been -really- antsy about a fight and I was wondering...could you give him a good one?~ She asked, another wink coming from the navi as she began to float upwards, and behind Pirouette, a barrier coming up, blocking her from continuing further into the network.

And don't worry sweetie, I promise you, we'll stop if you want to concede defeaaaaaaat~ She let out, not hearing out Pirouette's answer before another navi began to come stomping in towards the lithe navi. As Pirouette would look up and down the navi that walked up towards her, his form was...maligned and rough. His body was composed of rippling, disgusting muscles that, while possible to obtain in the real world, were...placed weirdly. His form easily towering over the much less physically gifted navi. A black streamlined helmet covering his head, eyes completely obscured by a translucent red visor that wrapped around his head. A tattered and beaten to hell brown cloak that reached down towards the ground, flapping heavily in the wind despite most of it disappearing with the mystery navi who was at very much high-altitude. And with a thin, ripped apart, black chest-piece along with a ripped apart grey navi bodysuit that, thankfully, covered him adequately.

So...you're my opponent? Well. Lets have a good fight. And don't worry. The crushing won't hurt too much. He said calmly, articulately...before his body rippled out unnaturally. The navi rearing up and letting out a bellowing, feral roar into the sky as he prepared for battle, despite Pirouette having not agreed to it...something...was off. As an HP reading popped up on Mikhail's PET, the mystery navi showed up as a bunch of question marks, she was probably using some sort of masking software. The navi that towered over Pirouette however? His name popped up as well as an HP total that most navis would have...what was strange was the fact at the end of his name had a V0.5 at the end. What was happening? And to compound to the obvious issues, the area around Pirouette began to...glitch. As if the navi in front of her was the problem.

BATTLE 5 BEGIN?!
Pirouette had barely finished filing and submitting her report before the terrain around her had begun to shift and change. She stepped away from the rail and turned about, casting her eyes in every direction in confusion as things changed.

"Mikhail? What is... Something strange is happening."
"I am getting some odd readings, little one. It is peculiar... what do you see?" He sounded as confused and concerned as she felt, and the ballerina's wings arched up high and tense, quivering slightly. She was still taking in the surroundings cautiously as the new navi arrived and started making a scene. She seemed friendly at first, but it swiftly became clear that the congenial words masked a distinctly false politeness that was more of an ultimatum than an offer. Pirouette's small, well-meaning smile furrowed quickly into an unamused frown and she unconsciously set her pose, drawing one toe in front of the other and bringing her hands to her chest.

She got the impression that there was no point giving an answer to the woman on the ball of air, given the way she'd assumed consent to the point of locking them in. Instead she looked to the other navi that had shown up and was now moving towards her across the bridges. A part of her was sure it was a wasted effort, but she tried anyway; the navi's voice, at least, had sounded potentially reasonable.

"In fact, I agreed to no such thing." She drew a deep, long breath and let it out slowly as she adopted the first form of her traditional commencement pose, watching the other navi. "I have neither the interest, nor the desire to fight with you, and especially not for the entertainment of another." Behind her, just above her arched wings, the familiar fanned shield of hardened swan feathers folded into sight with a small gleam of light. It rested in the air, above and behind her slightly, hovering, but she was ready to spin the defence down and around if she needed to. Her expression had grown hard and serious.

"Now. One of you will explain to me more clearly what is happening here, yes? Otherwise, I will not entertain either of you any further. I will simply leave." As she readied herself to move in case either of the two interlopers responded with violence right away, Pirouette focused her endurance and poise, measuring herself carefully. There was a chance they would talk, though it seemed unlikely, and she was quite prepared to make good on her threat to just have Mikhail jack her out, but there was no harm in taking precautions.

It is quite simple for you, my dear. The navi called out on her ball of air, grinning happily all the while under her robe. Her body shuddering from a burst of air. You. Are. A. Test. Subject. She stated so very plainly. Revealing what looked to be a mystery data in her hand as she called it from the ether. Provide adequate data. And you'll even be paid for your efforts. Now. Fight for me. Or would you rather die without a second thought? She asked callously above the dancer navi. My friend here would rather have a real fight, but I suppose he'll just have to crush you to bits instead. Go Saint. Show her what you're made of. She demanded of the navi, his body straightening up almost immediately at her call.

Yes mistress. COME'RE GIRLY! I'MMA CRUSH YOU! He nodded almost hypnotically, before bellowing out, his misshapen and bulbous muscles rippling about as he yelled, his body shaking unnaturally as he began to stomp towards Pirouette not unlike a bull in a china shop, and behind him, for every panel he crossed, the terrain began to glitch out. The normal panels behind him almost immediately turning into a buggy, glitchy mess. The mystery navi seemed to be perplexed at what was happening, not that Pirouette could see her face really. The navi in front of her however, didn't seem to notice, or if he did, didn't care. He was about to barrel over the unwilling navi as he brought his fists back behind him, letting out a guttural roar of anger, sending his fists forwards at her, a soft glow emanating from them a split second before hitting directly into Pirouette's hardened wings. The Guard1 immediately rearing back and smashing into Saint almost immediately.

G-Gah! T-The fuck!? WAS THAT A GUARD GIRLY!? ALWAYS HATED THOSE FUCKING THINGS! He roared out in anger, smashing his fists together, standing still in front of her. Despite everything, ignoring what seemed to be an...oozing wound in his stomach, data seeping out at every turn, trying to hold together.
