"Vita, what do we have left?" Zetaman asked, looking at his opponents. The downed Scarecrow would only be dangerous if it could get off more attacks, and those rolling tanks were going to cause nothing but trouble if he let them get away with another rampage.

"Uh... Two Cannon Chips..." Vita started, getting very quickly cut off by the Navi.

"WHAT?! Two chips left!? Are you telling me that we've gone through almost everything?" Zetaman said in shock and complaint.

"Well, we have a ZapRing as well. That's it, Zed. We haven't been doing this for very long, after all." Vita said, the tone of her Navi's voice rolling off without much effect. She was getting used to it.

"Load them all up. We don't have much time for anything else." Zetaman told her, getting the data moments later. He turned his buster towards the downed Scarecrow and loaded the first chip, his weapon expanding into a massive cannon that let out such a fast burst of energy that he skidded slightly on the tiles as he did so. He then immediately turned around to the virus pair that were going for another run at him. Out of the two, he picked out the weaker for his first attack, the cannon remaining the same as a second burst of energy fired from it before he ran out of chips and the buster returned to normal.

Zetaman tensed for a moment, calculating in a moment if he wanted to push on with the assault or worry about his defenses. His instinct gave him an answer as he loaded up the last chip and his buster transformed again. He aimed it as best he could without using up any time and fired off a spinning ring of electricity at the last of his opponents. Not finding the time to figure out a dodge, he could only stick in place and prepare for the worst.

The Scarecrow was deleted by a Cannon shot before it could attack again leaving only the two Armadills who had begun their rolling charge. Zetaman had forsaken his guard to quickly delete his last two opponents in a rush, however his last two chip attacks were repelled by the viruses' impervious hides and he was consequently crushed as they both crashed into him leaving him in the red yet again.

"Shit shit shit.." Zetaman said, barely able to pull himself back up after the assault. His immediate business was trying to stand once more, and his only option was to recover some of his energy first. The familiar wave of Static Charge energize him enough to stand up and look as his opponents rolled away from him.

"Zed? Zed?! Are you okay? God, thankfully you have that one program installed, or else you'd be deleted already." Vita said, almost biting her nails as she did so. She looked through her data, but she couldn't send any more chip data and couldn't otherwise interfere with the battle. Worse still, Zetaman wouldn't allow himself to be logged out without failing in the battle completely. "Zed, just... Be okay."

"Whatever." Zetaman replied, charging energy into his buster. He hadn't been fast enough to stop the rollers this time, but if he could do anything to slow them down before they made another go, it would help. He launched his Bolt Towers attack just as the virii finished their rolling. He tried to do two things with his attack, as be he could. First, he'd be lucky if he was able to hit either of them head-on, but one could hope. Second, he wanted to make sure that the towers were between himself and the pair - worst case they'd have to go through the towers to get to him. As they dropped down, he made sure to reinforce the first tower to fall.

The Armadill unrolled as they prepared themselves for another attack. Zetaman healed himself with a quick static charge technique, and blasted the Armadill with his Bolt Towers, which managed to take out one, but no more. The other was still standing as it rolled back into a tight ball to attack once again!

"That did something at least." Vita said, shrugging a bit and wondering what else her Navi might have up his sleeve. "Now you're down to one opponent, but you don't have anything to kill him with."

Zetaman reached out to another one of the pillars and reinforced the coding to make it stronger. "Don't you think I know that?" He asked. He set himself up ready to dodge from an incoming attack. Using some fancy footwork and a good jump, he was ready to dodge completely out of the way of his opponent's path of destruction. Still, even if that wasn't enough, he jumped back up after his first and rushed around to the side. He hadn't seen those rolling tanks turn on a dime, and hoped the didn't start yet. His only hope was to either slowly take his opponent down with his buster, or pray that the shocks of his Bolt Towers could penetrate the hide. Both felt unlikely.

Zetaman moved behind the tower with the remaining charge and aimed his buster. He waited for when the Armadill would reveal its soft underbelly, then fire a burst of spears into its body. It wasn't much, but it was better than nothing.

The lone Armadill crashed through the reinforced Bolt Tower like it was made of chalk and luckily didn't hit anything else. As it unrolled itself, Zetaman scored a tiny hit on his enemy. Another tower had its HP bolstered but considering how easily the first one fell, it seemed like a wasted effort.

"I don't know why you thought that tower would stop him." Vita said, almost a little surprised herself as the virus rolled right through the pillar. "It doesn't look like you can stop them at all when they get moving."

Zetaman winced a little as the pillar was destroyed, actually having felt that a reinforced one might have been strong enough to survive. He figured now that even if it was a solid stone block it might not have much of a better chance. "I don't need you to say that!" Zetaman yelled at her, activating his recovering Static Charge in his worry. "I can see that it didn't work. Now I just need to figure out how to whittle it down..." He commented, almost going to far as to bite his thumb from stress.

Not wanting to start something while distracted, Zetaman first kept his ground, ready for an incoming attack. He had seen the rolling attack more than enough to know it's general speed and abilities, but he wasn't going to get sloppy now. After his dodge attempt, he glared at his buster and began to charge energy in it, the first of two he'd need.

The Armadill kept up its rhythm, rolling back into its shell and breaking the second tower that Zetaman made into bits. Luckily, Zetaman had the sense to sidestep the attack, and prepared his buster with a charge.

As the Armadill rolled past and he began to charge his energy, Zetaman lowered himself onto one knee. His Buster gave a hum as a second charge started to gather, causing energy to be pulled towards him almost in an aura around the weapon. "Okay Vita, wish me luck." He commented, waiting for the moment that the Armadill unrolled. If and when he saw that opportunity, he fired off a massive spear of energy from his buster towards the virus, hoping that it'd be enough damage. Unsure of what the result might be and what the Armadill might do if he missed, he prepared himself to dodge any incoming attack and keep the battle going just a little longer.

Luckily, the Armadill had just unrolled from its previous attack and was vulnerable to Zetaman's attack. One good shot finished the virus off, causing the enemy to burst into data and leaving Zetaman alone once again to look over his spoils.

"Glad that's over." Zetaman said, collapsing to a sitting position and looking over the battlefield. "I can't believe I wasted so many chips."

"Well it was the first time you saw most of them." Vita pointed out, eating a piece of pocky and sighing onto the snack as the data on their rewards turned out. "We're learning more and more about the local virii every time we have a fight. I'm sure by the time you're a busting pro you'll know what most of them do." She explained, laying onto her back. "Or are you too tired to go on?"

"I'm not tired." Zetaman said seriously, standing up and stretching himself a bit before he started to walk. "Nothing wrong with a quick rest." He added, ready for another battle in the future.

[Battle Seven Welcome!]
As Zetaman walked, he noticed a small shift in the ground he was walking on. The normal, silent walk gave way to the clank and noise of metal flooring. As he walked along, he found one of the panels was pried open, revealing electrical cables that sparked and frazzled. How irresponsible. Suddenly, as Zetaman was looking at the sparking panel, an ambush of viruses surrounded him in a circle, among them some Powie and a couple of viruses that had drills for heads!

-BATTLE SEVEN, FIGHT!!-
Zetaman was a little surprised by the enemies surrounding him, but even more so by the condition of the floor. He had seen the metal floor before and wasn't worried about it, but the sparking open tiles were a little more of a concern. "Okay Vita, let's work together on this one." He said, walking back from the spark tiles a bit but keeping his distance from his foes. His Static Charge caused a wave of energy to focus on him and restore some of his lost energy from the previous fight.

"Chip uploaded. Let's try out that new one." Vita suggested, loading in the Magbomb and tilting her head in consideration. "We haven't used many explosives, have we?" She said, looking at the layout of the battlefield. Zetaman raised his hand and formed the bomb in his hand, lobbing it towards the tightest grouping of Powies, hoping to hit at least two of them. He was left with only a little bit of time for defensive action, putting his back to the spark tiles so that he had a good view of his enemies. He was ready to dodge if any of them rushed him, and something told him to keep an eye upwards as well.

Patching himself up slightly, Zetaman went for the Powies first, lobbing a bomb towards their direction. The bomb didn't hit its intended target, which had floated away on top of Zetaman, but another Powie, which was too dumb to move away and got a taste of ELECTRICITY ON METAL. Not tasty. The other Powie made their moves, slamming into the ground like nobody's business, with one of their hits connecting. (10) The drill viruses made their way towards Zetaman and damaged him some more, one hit effectively negating his earlier healing attempts, and then some. (40) They even seemed to disappear off into nowhere, only to reappear near him once again! These attempts, however, he dodged easily.

Zetaman rolled quickly away from the drillers, completely stunned at their apparent ability to teleport around the battlestage. He wasn't too pleased with the results of his bomb, but it was a small explosion and every hit count. He reacted very quickly, Vita apparently thinking the same thing and passing his Zapring to him. He wasn't sure how long the driller would stay in place for long, so he quickly fired off the spinning disc at the virus before moving his position to make sure that the Powies would be kept guessing.

"Vita, I need something else." Zetaman said, as his eyes flickered over the other driller for an instant. "The bee." He stated, hoping that its foul showing against the scarecrow was a mistake he could avoid again. He summoned the virus above the palm of his hand and let it pick up on his target and fly after it. Once the attack had left his palm, he immediately looked up. It was probably foolhardy for him to ignore the drillers after sending his attacks, but on the other hand he needed to look out for dropping Powies. He did his best to make sure that he knew where all his foes were, ready to dodge in case of stabbing or crushing attacks.

Firing a Zapring towards a Drixol, Zetaman stunned the drill virus, halting its movements before it could jump forward to attack. The other Drixol was shocked by an Elebee, but wasn't deterred by it as the other was, lunging forward to attack. The first one he dodged, but the second one came too fast for him to evade. (20) The Powies chose this time to attack, but their slow hammering was easy to locate and avoid.

The sparking panel in the middle began to come alive...

Zetaman was forced to jump from side to side and slowly away from his Drixol opponent by the crashing Powies, but he was still quick to raise his buster. "Vita, Shotgun." He half asked, half demanded. The chip came in quickly, showing that Vita was pay attention and not insulted by his attitude anymore, and the Navi took aim. He waited for a perfect shot at the DrixolEX before letting off the blast and continuing his movement. The action he was seeing from the sparking tiles were a little worrisome, so he tried his best to move away from it without moving in an obvious dead run to the edge.

Getting some breathing room for a moment while the Drixols no doubt prepared another rush and the Powies flew overhead, Zetaman used his Static Charge technique again to restore enough power to continue this battle. The wave of energy drew directly off the metal tiles and a wound on him from the drilling punches slowly filled in with green light and disappeared. The moment his technique was finished he was back on his guard against both of his enemy types, wishing he had enough time to shoot down more of the Powies.

Desperate for an opening, Zetaman loaded his Shotgun and blasting the Drixol to kingdom come, deleting one and damaging the other. He then proceeded to patch his wounds and dodge incoming Powies. Things were looking better for him, at least.

Well, not exactly, as the sparking panel electrocuted the floor, magnetizing the metal panels as they went, shocking some of the Powies, and Zetaman as well! (10)

Zetaman twitched from the electric shock caused by the spark, and immediately grit his teeth in response. He narrowed his eyes and furrowed his brow, his buster beginning to charge energy into itself. "Damnit! Sometimes these messed up panels really know how to bug me." He said, cursing the panels. He had done what he could to get away from the spark, but perhaps it was attracted to his electric nature - which would mean that he was in constant danger the longer this battle went on. He dropped himself to one knee and aimed upwards. "Bolt Towers!"

Zetaman shot up a mass of green energy that formed into three large spears once it hit its zenith, turning point-downwards and falling down onto the battlefield. He could only hope to hit his targets, the Drixol and some of the Powies, but even placing the towers on the field felt like a useful result. Once the attack began to drape onto the battlefield, he had already begun to prepare himself to dodge. The magnet fields would have a negative effect on his opponents and not him, so now at least he'd try to keep on those both during and after his dodges.

As Zetaman targeted the Powies and Drixol with his Bolt Towers, the Drixol started its march forward. Charged to their full extent, the towers blasted two Powie into deletion, but missed the Drixol as it disappeared off into nowhere! Then, the Drixol appeared again, but Zetaman dodged the drill with ease. The Powie simply stopped to jump around aimlessly, looking for a chance to hit Zetaman.
