Double Dragon?

"My Operator?" Druidman said, surprised. "He's a student." he said nonchalantly. "And what about you? What do YOU do?" he added.

"I lurk in various places." The Shadow virus says nonchalantly. "And what's your name?"
--------
"...Yes, that is mine." The chief says, tone dangerous. "It was stolen, as well. Where 'outside' did you find it?"

"Oh?" Druidman said. "I'm Druidman, dude." he stated, then, tilting his head slighty, "What sort of places do you see? I bet you have some cool stories to tell."

The chief's eyes alight at this revelation. "Why that no-good, two-timing, son of a bitch thief..." He goes on for a while, muttering curses under his breath, and then stomps out of the room.
Seraphim gets the feeling it would be a good idea to follow him.
------------
"I'm not really all that interesting..." he says, wobbling again. "The Metools of the village have better stories to tell... like that one about the Metool Hero." He pauses for a moment, seemingly coming up with another question. "So what's your favorite chip?"

'Seraphim' followed at a slight difference, wanting to keep out of sight from 'Master Jack'. Just in case.

"Oh, having a single favorite is hard to pin down, man. I'd say a Boomerang, maybe." he said. Then, suddenly realizing where this conversation was heading, narrowed his eyes a bit and asked, "Where are you going with these questions?"

"...Into a conversation?" The Shadow virus wobble-shrugs.
-----------
The Chief and Seraphim quickly make their way to Jack's house. The Chief waves his staff once-
-and multiple giant meteors crash down upon Jack's house, turning it into a flaming pile of firewood in mere moments. Jack is nowhere to be found. The Chief simply stomps off back to his house after this, not noticing that Seraphim is right there.

The Chief spins, staff swung in haste- and hits Seraphim hard enough to knock him down. Oddly enough, he takes no damage from the attack. "Ah hell, I didn't see you there." The chief holds out his staff towards Seraphim, lacking any arms to use. "Grab on, I'll help you up."
-----
The room falls silent. Apparently the virus can't think of anything else to say.

"Well then." Druidman says uncomfortably. "If your interest is satisfied, then I'll be on my way."
Druidman started to the door, taking care to keep an eye on the weird virus.

"Wait." The Shadow virus says, an odd tone creeping into his voice. "Catch." He tosses something at Druidman-
-----------------
"He wasn't in that ramshackle hut of his, unfortunately. I can tell." The Chief says, grumbling as he pulls Seraphim up as far as he can. "He'll have it rebuilt within a day or two, but the inconvenience is exactly what he did to me, so I guess it's fair."
His eyes lock on Seraphim's, seeming somewhat brighter. "Let's find that friend of yours, shall we?"

It's a subchip. An Energypack subchip, to be precise. "For talking with me." Druidman looks up, but the Shadow virus is gone.
The hut seems darker than before...
-------
Seraphim and the Chief make their way to the Chief's house. "So where did you say your friend went, again?"

"Behind your house, was it?" The question contained strictly more words than needed, but the words conveyed their meaning well enough.

Druidman looked a little puzzled. "Anytime, dude." he said, and he walked out of the house, back towards the chief's hut. He figured that Seraphim had either smoothed the whole thing over by now, or he was in a sufficient bind that he'd have to save him now. It's not like he leveled a house or anything.
Right?
Right?

"Right." The Chief stiffens for a moment, then heads toward the back of his house. He turns the corner just in time to see Druidman. "Ah, there you are!" he says, smiling. "Come, we must go back to my house. I have something for you both." At this, the Chief hops high into the air-
-and reenters his house through the hole in the roof Seraphim made just a bit ago.
Hm.
Maybe our dastardly duo should try the front door this time...
