Crouching Spider Hidden Dragon

Sylk let out a low hiss as her plan had failed to capture the targets she wanted. Not only that, but one of them had escaped without even a scratch. It was more than she could say about herself as well. She was not a pleased navi. That was never a good thing for her enemies. her barrier crackled back into existance as her armor weaved itself with new thread to repair the damage that had been done, all the while Sylk wondered if perhaps it was time for a different approach as her doppleganger made it's presence next to her once more.

" I'll give you guys a bit of a pick me up, sound good? " Her attention had turned to her allies, as she took note of their battle damage. They could probably handle it themselves but she was feeling generous. Meanwhile her clone was taking it upon herself to make a bigger target for the blackmares, rushing towards them and making an attempt to garner their attention.

Behind the spider more threads seemed to weave together on her command, picking up the pace as a pillar of silky webbing began to rise up from the panels. it wasn't long before the general sense of a candle could be seen, only to be emphasized as Sylk snapped her fingers casuing a spark to light the wick. it warmth was soothing, a great way to start off the next plan of action. Her next two series of ideas were a little less obvious in that at first her body began to crackle with an electrical energy in one moment, and the next one of her many arms had suddenly gotten hold of a strange looking hive.

Sylk's body and mind were focused now, rarely a thing that ended well for the enemies as her many eyes locked on to the prey. Her inhuman agility and reactions were hightened as the animal instincts kicked in, giving her an almost supernatural sense of perception and agility. In this state of awareness was when she began her assault and the electricity began to the fill the air as streaks of lightning snapped back and forth coming to form into a destructive condensed shape. She didn't wait to gather them all this time, as when one appeared she sent it flying towards her target trying to keep them on their toes and allowing no chance for rest. One volley after another until twelve successive shots had drained her of a good deal of energy.

She let out a slow breath as her senses came back down once more, craving a little bit of a refresher. She called forth the totem she kept in reserve and used it's magical powers to bring her health back up to optimal levels, reveling in the soothing waves of the sensation it provided.

The unexpected ferocity of their opponents left Sylk and drago to enact a temporary change of tactics, setting up some restoration and healing allies while everyone got their defences in order. While they were doing this, though, the quick little robots seemed to switch back to their wide-spread mode, as the number of hostile targets and objects increased again. Two of them, the more damaged two, widened and set their stance, to deliver twin volleys of fire power that covered the area in lazers. Amidst the barrage, though, the spider was lying in wait, and capitalised upon the predicted attack, knocking out one of the two robots completely before it cold commence firing.

The other one did manage to lay down its spread of lasers across the field, though Drago and the girls ducked and wove artfully amongst the fire without getting hit. Sylk, feeling that her natural defences weren't quite enough, had prepared a shield to meet the shot that came her way, and when the blast splintered it, a swarm of angry bees retaliated, darting towards the offensive mech in a cloud. The bees were a bit hasty, and swung by without doing much, but they were undeterred and began looping back for a second pass. Other casualties to the laser spread included Sylk's candle, which, unable to dodge, took a nasty pock-mark to the wax. The third blue robot ad stepped back slightly, focused entirely on Sylk and her freshly reformed protections. Lights had flashed behind its visor while it analysed her and now it dropped to one knee, arms out in a brace position as a glow began to charge in its chest.

While Sylk's double began to taunt the BlackMares from afar, Drago and the girls arrived with the dragonier making the first dashing strike at the remaining robots. Impressive as the attack was, he didn't quite manage to strike the one that had kneeled down, though he was more successful in annihilating the more damaged of the two. The bees, losing their target, wandered off into the net.

Just behind Drago, Aya had healed up enough to chance an attack of her own, and sent a very chunky fist plummeting to the ground. It smashed into the one remaining Super, cracking the ground beneath it, but the little robot held firm; it was badly damaged, but undeterred. Suzume took the time to patch her own injuries up a bit more, and couldn't make time to add to the offensive.

The two Blackmare's, thoroughly taunted by Sylk's doppelganger, teleported up to it, one between Sylk and her clone, and the other directly in front of it. The first glowered, forming a dark pit beneath itself that Sylk would likely want to be very careful about getting close to the edge of, while the other took a swing at the fake spider, cleaving it in two. It seemed more enraged than before, upon discovering that it had been tricked by a copy. It was at about this point, that the remaining super unleashed its chest cannon. Whether she was distracted by the sudden teleport of the BlackMare's, or otherwise not expecting it, the spider lady couldn't avoid the searing beam that struck into her; it seemed perfectly tailored to counter her defences, tearing through her barrier, then her casing, and still having enough power remaining to it to burn and scorch her badly. The attack seemed to drain the damaged mech, and it rested for a moment, still in position.

This proved to be a mistake, because Sylk herself wasn't one to take such an offence in good grace. an overwhelming volley of shots crossed the gap between her and the Super, drowning it in a barrage of lasers far more intense and focused than any of the spreads it had managed to fire at her. nothing was left when the air cleared. With their first target destroyed, the two shadows turned their attention towards the actual navis and began swinging their blades again in broad sweeps. the first took a cut at Drago and his girls, aiming to catch all three. Drago and Aya dodged nimbly, but Suzume wasn't so luck, getting caught badly by the blade. The other aimed at a slightly different angle, sweeping for Sylk and Drago, primarily. Again Drago proved more evasive than the virus could handle, but Sylk was caught out. also, in passing, the blade cleaved off a very large chunk of the candle. It was only a stub, now, but miraculously still lit.

While the Supers were gone, the two BlackMarer's were still in range for Drago to take a swing at with his hammer It wasn't an ideal weapon, and though his aim was fine ,actually connecting with the shadowy entities proved difficult. Even so, at least one pass of the heavy weapon seemed to connect solidly with something, which promptly teleported back to the far end of the field. Sylk, meanwhile, set up another temporary ally, in the form of a totem, which fed her some quick healing. While all this had been going on, the candle had been burning away, giving them all a warm glow as well, though if things kept trying to punish it, the tiny flame wouldn't last much longer.

Candle: 10Hp [Anchored][HeatBody][2 turns]
Totem: 100Hp [Anchored][Wood][Healing Mode][2 turns]

The support given by Sylk had healed some of the wounds sustained by DragonierMan and the girls. "Thanks for the assist!" Suzume called down to Sylk as her injuries started vanishing one by one as the moments ticked by. "You too brave little candle," she added, assuming that the candle was sentient enough to take the compliment. Though Suzume's eyes grew big as the poor candle took all that abuse from the viruses. She grit her teeth in rage as the enemy targeted what she believed was a non-combatant. How dishonorable.

"Suzume, use the SonicBlade on those BlackMares!" Aya called out to Suzume. She had noticed that she was angry for some reason, probably the result of adrenaline. She also noticed that Suzume needed some more medical attention, and that this would distract the BlackMares while she could apply some of her own healing power. However, what she could give at the moment was not nearly enough. As Suzume drew a gleaming sword from her waist, Aya called out to Drago. "Master I need your help, we got to heal my sister."

"Let's do this," Drago replied back, before flying over to Suzume. Aya quickly flew over to stand besides Suzume as well. They both placed their hands on Suzume's shoulders as she raised the shining sword above her head in a two-handed grip. Light sprang from her sword to paint the twin viruses in a rainbow of light, highlighting their forms to Suzume's eyes. With a mighty swing, she unleashed a blade of pure sound with a raucous crackle and boom. The sonic wave spread across the battlefield toward the two BlackMares, tearing through the air and what remained of the ground below with cutting force. The BlackMares hid in a perpetual cloud of shadow over a bottomless pit that they had been spreading, but neither of these obstacles would protect them from Suzume's wrath.

Suzume's form relaxed slightly as warm healing energies flowed through her body from the combined powers of Aya and Drago, patching her code where she had been damaged. With the amount of punishment that the SPs have taken over the time they had been alive, they were bound to be as buggy as Drago before long. Thankfully the patched code that they had spawned from would keep them safe from the mental problems that afflicted their host Navi.

"Get to a safe distance you two, I'll handle this next part," Drago said before the talons of his gauntlets began glowing, elongating out into huge energy claws. "I got the far one since I can fly!" he shouted to Sylk as he darted forward, racing across the sky towards the farthest BlackMare. Suzume and Aya both took to the sky, trying to get as far away as possible so they wouldn't get caught by the BlackMares' scything blades anymore. Drago beat his wings and zig-zagged through the air as he closed on the wounded virus. He extended his talons like a bird-of-prey diving on a small dinner animal as he screeched toward his opponent. Aya turned in the sky and noticed her master's target. Producing a trio of throwing daggers from apparently nowhere, she threw them at the virus. The three knives fell from the sky like thunderbolts. Shadowy tendrils encircled them as if they were Aya's spectral hands, guiding them to their target. Helping them spear her elusive prey.

DragonierMan darted this way and that, setting upon his opponent like a crazed animal moments after the kunai passed. His claws reached out and slashed at his opponent. He cleaved through the air as he blitzed the BlackMare again and again, weaving this way and that. One moment he was above the BlackMare, then to the side, then behind, then above again. Wings beat furiously as he dashed about like a hummingbird... a hummingbird packing huge bear fists with razor-sharp nails. He spun in the air sideways on one such strike, becoming like a drill through wood. Then winged-over and dove at the virus like a hawk. Then did a sweeping uppercut. Always dogging the virus like a hound, nipping at its heels.

With the battle winding down and the enemies that had wounded her dealt with, Sylk's demeanor mellowed out considerably. Acting as though she hadn't been bloodthirsty at any point during these battles, Sylk composed herself as she ran a hand through her hair. She exuded a sense of professionalism as she turned her attention toward the virus designated to her.

"I suppose we can bring this battle to it's close." She flicked a clawed hand towards the nearby BlackMare. " I had been hoping they could have provided a little more... excitement." Her tone changed with a hint of a sultry attitude.

"Adrian, I need something sharp."

Only having one chip option to provide, Adrian complied and in a moment Sylk installed the data. in the midst of all this her defenses refreshed themselves around her in the chance her foes got desperate in their final moments. Her clawed like hands began to crackle as the Elecknife was loaded, but she chose to use it as fuel for her own data instead. Her fingers became slightly harder and more claw-like in response as they wreathed in lightning. Her body shifted and her expression condescending towards her victim, as she took a step closer.

Not one to be satisfied easily, the spider further improved her natural weapons. The electricty grew and sparked more furiously as she prepared to strike, until it suddenly spiked in power. Sylks claw cut through the air before her aiming to take down the Blackmare, light streaking behind her attack from the elemental boost. As if using the momentum from the first swing Sylk's body twisted and flowed as she soun and brought another claw down towards her target. Sylk's feet moved gracefully and her many arms seemed to dance about trailed by a beautiful yellow, the crackling sound filling the air with every swing.

After a furious assault, one final strike lashed out in hopes her enemy was no more. She hadn't wasted everything, she knew the viruses could be somewhat resiliant if only through sheer luck. She had to wonder what this ones chances were.

With only a couple of targets left on the field, both Drago and Sylk were experienced enough to know how to handle such shadowy creatures. First back into the fray, though, was Suzume's carefully lined up sonic strike. The positioning put her just by Sylk as she struck, and it certainly made for a distracting sight between that, and the light show that was the the others patching up her remaining injuries. The attack managed to strike true both on the BlackMare just in front of her, and the one further off. About to respond to the assault, the close BlackMare paused as its blade came up, before an electrical crackle tore it apart. It's eye registered a brief expression of surprise before it collapsed.

The second viruses was a moment too late in teleporting up, but took a swing anyway, sweeping its broad blade across the group and aiming to hit as many of the offending targets as it could. unfortunately for the virus, Drago and his girls dodged clear with surprising ease, and Sylk's defences were more than enough to keep her from harm, even if she didn't manage to get out of the way quite so nimbly. about to put paid to the second BlackMare as well, especially with it right here in front of her, Sylk might find herself disappointed when, once again, a small expression of shock interrupted its glower, and a volley of Kunai stole the kill from her from afar. On the bright side, victory!

Both Receive 14 Mutual FXP (4 Base, +4 for Rogue nets, + 6 for team-work and mutual assistance)
One hard-fought battle later, and the four Navis were victorious!

Suzume zoomed over to Sylk, leather wings flapping, and tried to give her a hug. "Thank you sooooo much!" she squealed. "You were a great target on the ground while we fought in the air and that healing candle was super useful to keep us all healthy and safe." Aya nodded, "Yeah, thanks for that." DragonierMan smiled. They were all feeling pretty good after that tough fight, having come out of it without any noticeable damage, even though they took a few solid hits.

As Suzume gushed over Sylk, Aya went about collecting the rewards off the battlefield. Drago checked to see that the coast was clear before floating over to where Sylk and Suzume were standing. "So I notice that you keep a pair of Bandcoons as your pets. That doesn't seem very spider-like. Wouldn't you rather have a pair of Spidies doing your bidding? Though I wouldn't want that myself, the webs getting in your hair and all that. Ick," she shuddered while running a hand through her hair, pantomiming pulling out some sticky spiderwebs from her hair. Then she remembered who she was talking to and flushed with embarrassment, raising her hands in a "sorry" gesture (which always seems very much like "Jazz-Hands" to me). "Aaahhh, no, wait, I didn't mean! Ooohhh, now you think I'm insensitive. Stupid, stupid!" Suzume said as she rapped a fist against the side of her head.

Drago put a hand on Suzume's shoulder as she beat herself up for the potential slight, and turned to Sylk. "Forgive her, her trespasses. Though I was wondering about the Bandcoons myself. They seem quite helpful, where did you get them? And more importantly, how do I get one?"

~Time Passes~

Aya rejoined the group after the conversation had been going on for some time. "So I was wondering," she said as she landed. "First, here," she added as she handed over Sylk's spoils. "Anyways, perhaps you can tell me why you got into the Neo-Shogunate? I mean, it could be as simple as Drago here getting in to cut down the problems in the Net to make it safer. And how the Net Police and Net Mafia don't really want to make it better for everyone besides themselves and their little orders..." Aya stopped short. "Well, I mean, I guess the Neo-Shogunate are doing that too. But they have a more centralized authority or something." It seemed that Aya was having trouble putting what she wanted to ask into coherent words. Though something in her eyes seemed to betray her intelligence; as if she was doing that on purpose to see how Sylk would respond.
"Not sure if I should feel insulted at being called a Target." The spider teased as she reciprocated the hug, Playfully giving a stronger squeeze as the words left her mouth. It wasn't like she had taken much damage during that fight, so it wasn't like she was being called sloppy ot anything, so Sylk decided to let it slide.

Sylk released the grip on Suzume, but it seemed the girl had much more to talk about and stuck around to dump her thoughts. "Well my dear, I can't help but think there are many issues with those sort of assumptions." She started, her tone wasn't one of anger but closer to mild dissapointment. "I mean, on one hand spiders dont often get trapped by there own webs, but would you want a bunch of mini you's running around? Better yet, sending them into danger constantly?" She paused for a moment to let that sink in, before a grin appeared on her face as her next point came to mind.

" But if we're talking webs, I think you just don't understand how useful and wonderful a spider's silk can be. Perhaps when you've matured more~" She teased Suzume as she trying to pose in a dignified manner. " As far as the Bandcoon go, they're useful and have proved them selves well behaved at leat most of the time. Plus they're just so cute, I could just eat them up." the thought elicited a chuckle from her lips, remembering some of her older habits when she first burst into the net.

Sylk pat the girl on the head, with a reassuring smile. " I wouldn't say insensitive is the word here. Just misinformed. I much prefer the company many things other than spiders." A sultry stare towards the Suzume's eyes." Perhaps I'll have to teach you that some other time. As for where they came from, " Sylk paused as her attention was drawn towards Dragonier, shifting her body to face him head on.

" I couldn't tell you. My pets are the product of circumstance, and pretty rare from what I understand. I doubt you'd have the funds to procure one out right even if you could find a seller." She shook her head as a shrug emphasized the point.

Sylk took a bit of a breather after so many questions, looking over the remains of the battle. It had been a little more hectic than she had anticipated, and the idea of disciplining her pets failure came to mind with all the interest shown for her fluffy companions. unfortunately it had to wait, as she was further approached by Aya this time around. Sylk handily collected her rewards from Aya as yet another question was prompted to be answered. She just laughed as she took a few steps forward, her rewards vanishing as the data was uploaded. As the laughter faded, her lips rested onto a content smile.

" You sure are an inquisitive bunch. It's simple though really." She pointed out, though not exactly bothered. the attention was never a bad thing after all.

"It sounded fun."

The answer didn't need much thought, since the whole experience was on a whim anyways. She hadn't regretted it by any means, it's just how it happened. " Doesn't hurt that I got to drag some very dear people to me along for the ride." She giggled softly remembering the events.

It seemed the question had jogged a few precious memories, as she looked onward further into the net seemingly lost in thought. She wondered how they were doing.
Suzume looked sheepish at the end. "Yes, I guess I see your point. And perhaps later I'll learn more about silk." She looked relieved at being forgiven her slight and turned to look out over the Net around them. Without a word she took to the air, scanning the horizon for any threats, as she slowly circled above. Keeping a lookout while the rest continued to talk. "Thanks for going easy on my sister," Aya thanked Sylk again. "She has been getting stressed out over the last few days. Not only has our foray into the deeper Nets shown that we have a lot to grow still, but our missions for the NS have also been relatively non-stop tension affairs. Thankfully we have had the support of MachMan and crew, and various NS members. Did you know that he is apparently the commander of their air force now? Though their air force only has three other members," Aya rambled. "Now that I think of it, I wonder why we weren't given command?" She turned to DragonierMan, "Something to ask about later."

"It is too bad that those creatures are so rare, it would be nice to have them," Drago interrupted about the Bandcoons, seemingly unconcerned about what Aya was talking about. Though his next comments were on the subject at hand, "But as for MachMan, I wonder if you know him? Apparently there were two strong members, MachMan being the first and yourself being the second, that I had not known existed in the organization for the long while I have been affiliated with." He stopped for a moment and shook his head. "You know, we have been constantly asking you questions ever since we got here. Our curious nature I guess. But we never heard any questions from you about us. As such, in order to build our friendship, I shall answer whatever you have questions on that we could reasonably answer. I don't have anything to hide."
" It's fine, it's fine. It isn't often people run into someone like me anyways." She waved off the concern, feeling it important to adress Aya's worry of her sisters actions. It wasn't like she was actually letting it bother her, she just liked to act big. She hadn't planed on saying much more on the matter, but it just so happened a name had come up she couldn't ignore.

" Wait... WHAT?! How dare he get ahead of me like that!" The spider fumed at the information she had been fed, not out of anger but jelousy. She threw her arms down as her hands clenched into fists, starting to pace as the idea began to flow into her mind. " Those three are going to get the worst talking to I can think of when I catch up with them, I swear it! I'm working my butt off for the store and they're off collecting a harem of fighter jets I bet, leaving me out of the fun!"

She crossed all arms along her body as she tried to calm herself down, wondering just what sort of antics the three had gotten themselves into, until Dragonier pressed the matter further. "Huh? what you don't know? Who did you think I was refering to when I dragged people here with me." It was a completely unreasonable assumption for someone to make, but she wasn't exactly sweating the small details right now.

"Only reason Mach, Aera and Vector are there is cus I dragged 'em along. There he goes making his own division and taking over who knows how many people, and he doesn't even so much as let me know! I bet he's slacking off at the store while he's flirting with other women too!" One of her hands moved free as as it bobbed and swayed along with her words as if to push certain points further.

" Well whatever, I'll have to pay them a visit real soon then! Oh, hmm, I guess I kinda lost my train of thought." Sylk paused as her emotions had jumped all over the place, not really sure what her point was anymore. She just shrugged and followed up on Dragonier's final concern. "Don't take it the wrong way, but i don't have anything to ask. I'm watching how you act and what you say, and that tells me more than enough information as it is. These eye's aren't just for show you know. In fact, i think they see something right now!" Sylk's focus shifted to a glint in the distance, possible treasure or a new foe. Either way it was something to change her mood as she began to head towards it.

" What ever it is, let's go get it! i could use a bit more stress relief."

((Ready for battle 3))
Aya and DragonierMan watched as Sylk blew up over MachMan and crew's actions. Apparently they were in the Neo-Shogunate because of Sylk. Aya noted Sylk's displeasure at being left out of the airforce. "But you can't fly," she commented during a pause. Then later on in the conversation, Aya smirked at how Sylk was also watching their actions, like she was watching Sylk to determine what information she needed to glean. Then later still, before they could continue their conversation after Sylk had finished, she had spotted something off in the distance and made to go after it. "Did you want a ride? There are a lot of holes around here," Drago offered. If she just wanted an airlift over the holes in the ground, Drago would hold on to her arms and carry her over the gaps. But if she wanted to fly, Drago would let Sylk get on his back and then take to the sky.

Regardless, Aya and Drago would take to the sky to join Suzume. Then the four would head out towards the distance, Sylk pointing the way.

With some camaraderie over their Neo-Shogunate affiliations, Sylk and DragonierMan forged onwards into the depths of the NAXA network, leaving the dead end behind. The background of the starry sky began to dominate their view as they headed further in, due to the lighting being rather scarce. Nevertheless, they were not completely without "artificial" light, as intermittent Solar panels dotted the roadways, like little grounded streetlights, revealing the little holes that sometimes liked to appear in the middle of the road. Their wandering did seem to feel rather aimless as well, as the lack of lighting and the repetitive starry background caused them to lose their bearings slightly.

Before they knew it, the relatively smooth, metal roadways led down in a spiral to the surface of a miniature planet. Though with huge craters formed all over its surface, and its relatively diminuitive size of what appeared to be a diameter of barely a couple of kilometers, it was probably more accurate to call it a spherical asteroid. As they would approach it, Sylk would feel her feet grow slightly lighter with each step. When they would reach the surface itself, they would see the pathway continued onto the asteroid, and into a very wide crater. Dotted about the crater, a few glowing green rocks provided some meagre lighting, with one particular blue chunk in front of the dome itself. In the middle of the crater, a huge, smooth dome dominated their view, with the pathway leading to a small doorway sunken into its side.

Unfortunately, if they wanted to explore, they would be halted by some native viruses that lingered about the area. The first ones they would see would be some purple-skinned humanoid viruses, with enormous bulbous heads that took up almost a third of their height. Orbiting them were some spherical Sparkler viruses. The alien-like Invader viruses were clad in white bodysuits with black trim, and their eyes were bloodshot as they surveyed the intruders. Upon inspection of Sylk and DragonierMan, they then flew away almost immediately, leaving the Sparklers to orbit about themselves in place.

The Intruders appeared to then approach the dome, where two large disc formations appeared to rest on their sides next to the metal road, like avant-garde statues. These formations were three thick discs stacked on top of each other, with two smaller black discs sandwiched between those. At the Invaders' approach, the discs began to rotate noisily, and rose into the air. The thick discs then sprouted green fins, and the noise of jet thrusters began to blow out from their rear ends. The two disc formations took positions next to the dome on the roadway, with their Invader companions hiding behind them for cover.

Finally, an odd noise would begin to emit from the Invader viruses. As if on cue, the Sparklers began to rush both of the Navis, in a charge attack!

// Rogue Battle 3, Ready? Start!!
Sylk knew her eye's hadn't betrayed her as the prize was at the end of the trail. It had been a long time since she found a cache of rewards like a Mystery Data, and she wasn't about to let it slip through her many hands today. Sylk wasn't able to come up with a plan before the Sparklers already started their rush. She had to act fast.

"Hey, if you can grab that i'll try to keep their attention!" Sylk called out to her allies, gesturing towards the prize that lay at the end of the road. " Bring it on you worthless piles of data, you're no match for me!" She taunted in stereo as another Sylk stepped out of her own image. It was time to get a little more creative.

Sylk kept a trained eye on her foes, her copy mimicing her movements as she tried to fake them out and keep their eyes on her with movements. She darted back and forth waving for the viruses to "come at her", and as she watched for some sort of reaction she prepared to roll out of the way at the normal panels nearby. Her shadow's motions were flawless however since it was mirroring her every move it dodge in the opposite direction aiming to divide the potential attacks on her in half.

As she attempted her life as a professional tumbler, Sylk's body charge with electricity waiting for one of the unsuspecting viruses to attack her. If they did some how have the luck to strike her it would only backfire in their face. Of course she didn't stop even after her attempt at evading had completed. She continued to use the momentum as she pushed off the ground once more to further carry her to safety from attacks using her nimble body to keep out of harms way. The whole idea was the give her allies enough of a breather to secure the prize.

"If you can pin them down, do it now!" Watching dragonier and company had given her an idea of how fast and effective they were are moving around, while keeping that in mind she had imagined this had been enough. It was time to return to the offensive. The air became charged as Sylk gathered her power all around between a set of her arms into one focused point. A ball of pure destructive force was growing, radiating power the larger it got. As if unable to contain it fully, a streak of lightning darted forth towards one of the shreaders with enough power to expload outward on contact. That was just the start however.

In order to harness it even further Sylk used all her remaining hands to charge and contain the mass of energy before her, the unstable ball of electricity pulsing and lashing out. As it reached the peak of perfection, Sylks arms shifted around it to form the barrel of a cannon with her own form. A grin on her lips as she released it's power in the form of a piercing blast ripping through the air in the blink of an eye. She wanted to appreciate such an attack but time wasn't in her favor. She shifted her feet once more realizing she had wasted too much time power up, and went back onto the defensive in an instant.

"I'm going for it," DragonierMan says after Sylk pointed out the BMD. It's shiny blue riches ripe for the taking, if they could get it out intact. He spread his wings and dug his heels into the ground before taking off like the flash. Skimming along like a grav racer. Dodging and weaving as he approached. "I'll take care of the snare Suz, you take care of Master," Aya cried out before unleashing a dark ball of energy from her hands. It moved slowly but surely up the metallic pathway, towards the dome and the viruses in front, crawling with shadowy tendrils that seemed to guide it towards its destination. It followed behind Drago as he blazed a path towards the main horde, grounding all flying traffic with invisible tentacles, and bringing Drago down to run the last leg. His boots barely touched the ground as he skated on his hover boots, his momentum carrying him on.

An electric light show caught everyone's attention moments later as Suzume bathed the battlefield in a rainbow of colors. The viruses were all highlighted in the melodious hue, shining out of the darkness around them. "Covering fire!" she shouted before a bolt of lightning shot from her hands like a rocket and sailed up the path, over the gravity well, and exploded before the dome. More light and crackling sounds bathing the crowd of hovering viruses as Drago zipped by them like a comet. He screeched to a halt next to the mystery data as a fireworks show erupted about behind him. The pulses of lightning boomed to the sides and in front of the initial blast, trying to catch all the grounded viruses in its clutches.

Drago's talons elongated as he set to digging up the buried BMD. The energy blades should have enough bite to tear into the metal and unearth the relic. Once he got it clear he would grab it up, turn to what he thought was the East, and zip away. Aya and Suzume also ran away from the closing Sparkies. They looked too dangerous to get near, so they hightailed it away in the most expedient manner and on the most evasive course. They were also grounded so they zipped away on their hover boots as well. Zig-zagging away from the chasing viruses. Drago, meanwhile, would also not want to be on a direct path from the dome so that he wouldn't be caught in all attacks that followed straight lines up the metal path towards that same dome. So he zig-zagged away from the dome like his SPs, trying to avoid all the ranged attacks unleashed by the viruses he just passed. Dodging and weaving as much as he could while grounded.

Though when he finally got to a good spot away from the battle, he put the mystery data down on the ground and turned back to the battle. "CHAAAAARGE!" he bellowed as he flapped his wings a bit and used the boost to speed off towards the virus horde again. As Sylk finished her deadly and flashy attacks, Drago screamed into the viruses from slightly behind and to the side. Under the power of the mach-cone, he plowed into the lines like a berserk engine, flattening everything in his path. The crack and boom of his impact was heard throughout the Net.

Spotting a pretty prize at the end of the pathway, Sylk and DragonierMan split their tasks, with DragonierMan being the point man to save the crystal from devastation. Digging his heels into the paneling, he took off like a rocket, dashing past the Sparkler that was about to hit him without contact. One of the Shredders ejected the metal disks out between its circular pods towards DragonierMan in a set of three, with its partner Invader firing a lightning bolt from its enormous head towards the disks. DragonierMan managed to evade two of the disks, but grazed one off of his shoulder. (-20) The lightning bolt bounced off of the one that missed him, fortunately arcing into the ground harmlessly. His Support Programs lit up the area with a dark GravityHold energy ball and a stream of electrical mayhem. The ball's gravity caused all of the viruses to hit the floor, momentarily robbing them of their ability to fly, and the lightning electrocuted one of the Shredders.

Meanwhile, Sylk was dealing with her own pair of Shredder and Invader, activating an Anti-Elec trap in the meantime. The Sparkler's rush was stopped in its tracks suddenly with the trap activating, as a lightning bolt came to smite it for its transgression. Unfortunately, the lightning bolt just steered slightly off its mark as the Sparkler hit the floor from Aya's gravity effect, allowing it to roll to the side slightly to avoid the attack. It and its comrade tried to attack Aya and Suzume afterwards, but the ninja SPs were simply too nimble for such an attack, and avoided them easily. Sylk's subsequent ElecReel attack connected towards the Shredder that was attacking DragonierMan, but didn't connect with anything else, as she had fired it slightly off-angle.

While half of the enemies were distracted with Sylk, DragonierMan's advance into the backline was successful, as he unearthed the blue Mystery Data crystal, and zipped out towards the edge of the crater to set the crystal down away from harm. Afterwards, he charged back in with reckless abandon, smashing into one of the Shredders with a loud sonic boom, unable to hit anything else due to the uncontrollable speed that his attack bore.

Back on Sylk's side, she fired off another crackling ball of electricity with the DollThunder, and shot it out as a piercing blast from a cannon barrel, managing to hit the Shredder that DragonierMan missed with his charge attack earlier, critically damaging it. The gravity effect from Aya's attack earlier then ended, allowing all of the viruses to raise up from the ground back to their earlier flying state. The Invader viruses looked particularly singed, with a few irritated beeps coming from them. The Shredders beeped in response, and two RockCubes suddenly emerged from thin air to protect the Invaders from further harm.

Sylk was visibly dissapointed as most of her enemies had come out of the exchange unharmed. She had planned perfectly and lined up her shots, and still the sneaky little viruses evaded her. Two could play at that game. With her foes now hiding behind rocks, the smartest idea was the get to a better angle. What better angfle to rain down destruction than the sky? The spider hunched down on all limbs as if building up power, while the usualy clone burst forth to block the enemies sight of her. "Is that all you got? I've seen deadlier metools!" It taunted as the real Sylk leapt high into the sky, getting a better vantage point to strike.

The doppleganger made a gesture towards the group of four up ahead, while Sylk watched and planned from above. In the direction she had her clone motion, data began to swirl in a blaze as a Totem rose from the flames. It shook and spun as a sea of fire spewed in a sweeping attack trying to strike multiple enemies in one go. if it wasn't a target, hopefully the false spider seemingly calling the shots would make for another alternative.

The real Sylk however noticed the plight of the siblings and made a move to help them out. As a thin metal web flew from her hand to wrap around the Rock cube, the decoy called out to them as a warning. "Try to lure them together! I'll throw a rock at them, just be sure to get out of the way." With her webs trying to firmly take hold, Sylk pulled as hard as she could to whip the rock between the two Sparklers. Of course having no foot hold her self, she tried to use the exchange to swing herself through the air as well, keeping on the move and away from harm as she soared. it wasn't like she had wings after all.

With the shift in perspective, Sylk grinned as it was time to use her airial advantage to go on the offensive. After one more piece of preperation anyways, as a hive formed in one of her free hands. now she was ready.

Her go to means of dispatch was next in line as the sky lit up with electricity, but this was far from a simple storm. As the glowing lights began to take form it was as though a new constelation formed in the sky above. it was unfortunate however that such a pretty sight would rain down from the heavens as it reached it's peak. One of Sylk's hands waved about as if conducting a symphony of pain, every flick sending another bolt down on one more unlucky target. Normally she would have felt that enough on it's own but for this slippery bunch she had to make sure.

One of her right arms took aim as she hovered above, the triple barreled cannon forming around it as she spied on her enemies. A shot sounded out into the net as the flames errupted out and the barrel rotated and loaded the next shot. Another burst of flame hurtled from the gun as the last bullet readied, only to ring out as it made it's entrance into the fray aiming to strike the third and final target.

The spider couldnt wait to see what had been destroyed as the smoke cleared.

Sylk had a plan and leapt into the sky. She called down to the twins and told them to lure the chasing Sparkler viruses into the RockCubes that had appeared on the field recently.

"Roger that."
"Roger that."

The girls said in unison before they winged away and sped across the battlefield towards the RockCubes. They weaved and bobbed through the hail of virus fire, keeping ahead of the Sparklers as best they could, as they approached the RockCubes. They slowed just a bit as they approached, trying to bait the Sparklers to close. Then at the last possible moment, right before they would hit the RockCubes, they pulled up. The G-Forces struck them hard as they attempted to go from a horizontal flight to a vertical take-off. Their faces compacted a little under the pressure, but they had been flying since an early age and could pull off such high-stress maneuvers without crashing. Also the gravity was quite low here in space, so the G-Forces weren't as strong as it would be planet-side. They tried to stop above the viruses in preparation for their attack.

Meanwhile DragonierMan, who was in the literal center of the majority of the viruses, tried to fly to get as many of the Shredders in melee range, and then spun around and unleashed arcs of cutting energy into the viral horde around him. He swiped his claws this way and that, trying to shred the Shredders. Then, if the Sparklers were not already orbiting a RockCube, he ran over to the RockCube that was not being pulled by a spider and tried to dig his claws into it. Lifting with his legs he attempted to pick it up and hurl it at the Sparklers. He then spread his wings and dodged over to the other one, assuming the Cube hadn't already hit the viruses by Sylk's pull, and then tried to lift that one up and toss it at the Sparklers. However, if they were already orbiting a RockCube, he would instead rush over and slash the heck out of them with his glowing sharp bear claws.

Having tried to evade the Sparklers for so long, the twins were tired and pissed. Aya produced a big ornate pot with all sorts of stormy inscriptions in the air next to her, blazed with whirling grass and mossy paneling. She tipped it over and let lose the dragon stored within. The creature roared and stomped and slithered and belched poisonous pollen, and all sorts of other horrible things as it tore across the battlefield and slammed into whatever virus targets presented itself. The fact that it was low-gravity around here probably meant it could also take to the sky if the viruses tried to evade it, even though it was considered a ground-based dragon. Meanwhile wherever it roamed, the ground would become seeded with grass. Suzume, following suit, opened her mouth and belched her own cone of poisonous pollen all over the Sparklers. Hopefully, that would teach them some manners about chasing girls who didn't want to be chased.

DragonierMan took the opportunity provided by his SPs to evade where he could as all this chaos was happening around him, and then produce his own pot of fiery death. The dragon that emerged from this pot was a blazing, burning god of hellfire. It also didn't help that now there was a bunch of grass for it to play with. The scene was nightmarish as the dragon of fire burnt the seeded asteroid into a new molten sun as it traveled over the grasslands, spewing fire from its mouth and raking its heated claws upon its prey. The low gravity probably allowed it to fly also. Not something that the dragons probably had experience with. It was probably exciting for them.

It seemed as though, after a moment's lull, both sides of the battle decided it was time to go hot on the offence, and many things began happening at once. Sylk left her clone to taunt the foes while getting some serious air, the light gravity of the small planetoid letting her drift very high indeed before reaching the top of her arc. She'd come down soon enough, but it gave a good opportunity to sight the field and respond accordingly. She wasn't the only one spring up quickly, though. The more damaged of the two Shredders also winged high into the planet's orbit, twisting with far more grace than one might expect as it rolled over and re-targeted. The other one took the spider woman's bait and brutally rushed the taunting decoy, obliterating it, and this meant that ill fortune of poor timing saw the summoned totem release its swathe of flame across the metal panels where the two machines had been moments before. Then panels themselves began to melt and warp, sending up a super-heated haze.

Meanwhile, Aya and Suzume were leading their viruses on a merry, if dangerous, chase across another part of the asteroid, but drew them unerringly towards the cubes summoned before. The two sparklers proved just how dangerous truanting them was, as their highly charged bodies crashed into everything around them, right as the twins diverted from the cubes. The girls did their best to avoid the damage, but though they each managed to steer clear of one attacking sparkler, each fell victim tot he other she hadn't quite been watching. They zipped away, but not without sustaining heavy hits. The cube that the two sparklers had been bearing down on also bore the wrath of their bodies, and before either could start orbiting it happily, the cube was pulverised by their twin attack.

With the shredders splitting up, Drago zeroed in on the nearest, still landward one, and sliced it with his whirling blade, though the situation didn't leave him in range of any other targets at the time. Up above Sylk reached down to web the remaining RockCube, heaving it towards the two sparklers where they had paused, but even though both avoided the cube itself, they found themselves caught up in orbiting it all the same. What was odd about all of this was that the lowered gravity seemed to have further unexpected effects on Sylk's efforts. Not just a small pull, her yank threw the cube with incredible force and speed, such that it ended up in a drifting orbit around the planet, Sparklers in tow.

With most of his immediate targets going in unexpected directions, Drago was still able to make the distance he needed to deliver a fierce slash to one of the now airborne sparklers on their tiny cubic moon, but he didn't see something else that happened as a result. the first Shredder, which had flown up high, had performed a graceful roll in orbit, and now materialised a new Cube directly in front of it, facing towards Drago, a short distance away and with his back unfortunately turned. It revved, charged, and forcefully shot the freshly made cube with a terrifying grade of force, aided by the reduced gravity and lowered resistance, sending it crashing squarely into the dragonier's back. the cube shatter over him completely, leaving nothing but shards, and Drago himself was still up and fighting, but only just.

Down below, the second Shred, having destroyed its own target in the form of Sylk's decoy, placed a new cube just behind itself, then arced up towards the sky, where most of the battle was now taking place. It launched a spread of three bladed pucks, that bounced and ricocheted across the area, and each other, and while most of them failed to hit anything at all, one struck the totem, flipping its around and changing its element, one nearly clipped Suzume, though she just barely managed to twist out of the way, while three, in the course of their bouncing, ended up attempting to strike Sylk. The first hit her wooden shield, crushing it before the hive could release its bees, while the second managed to destroy her barrier for now. The third, she dodges from, though it wobbled wildly and seemed to be almost whimsical in its travel path. It probably wouldn't have hurt even if it had hit her.

While this aerial melee was going on, the two Invaders were watching intently, and as the Shredder launched its pucks, they attacked, sending bolts of sizzling electricity upwards into the group. The two beams of energy bounced erratically off the skittering pucks, making them unpredictable, until one managed to singe across Sylk's back, wearing down her casing as well. The other bolt failed to connect with anyone of importance before fizzling out, which was something to be glad of.

More than likely enraged by the assault on his person, Drago connected another slash on one of the two orbiting Sparklers, before Aya released her dragon onto the field to play. There wasn't much left on the ground for it, but it found the two invaders before either of them could fly away, and by the time it was finished, the brainy overseers were gone. It didn't manage to take the grounded shredder out as well, but two out of three wasn't bad, all things considered. Suzume, meanwhile, had something unpleasant for the Sparklers, and blew enough confusing pollen over the pair to remove their danger from the battle for good.

Sylk finally had the room to make what was probably one of her very favourite attacks, filling the sky with electricity. Her targeted rain of pain didn't have very much left to go for, most of it crashing down over where the Invaders had been, although the lights she directed towards the Shredders still mostly fond their marks. One machine was guttering smoke badly, and looked like it was barely staying in the air now, while the other wasn't faring much better. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite done yet, and it was perhaps this persistence that caught Sylk off guard, as the damaged machine blasted its way up from the ground towards her, meeting the spider-woman as she descended, and striking her with enough force to send her spinning wildly out of control and tot he very, very edge of the planetoid's gravitational field.

The more damaged of the two Shredders had settled back down to the ground level, seeking to avoid the worst of things for now, but Drago wasn't about to let it go; his final fiery dragon devoured much of the grass on its way to devouring the hardy virus once and for all. At the last, even as she was thrown dangerously close to being ejected from this area of the network, Sylk countered with a brutally strong magnum blast, putting the cap on the final virus on the field. It would probably take her some help, some clever or ability usage, or else a good couple of minutes to get herself back to solid ground, after that painful pro-fly, but now that the battle was over, at leas, she had ample time free to do so in safety.

They also had time, now, to lick their wounds, rest and recover from their hurts, gather their loot, maybe open a shiny blue rewards, and possibly take some time to explore this strange little planet, and its mysterious single-doored dome.

Open BMD?

DragonierMan uses an UnTrap on BMD and opens it.

[Rest of post will follow when opened.]
The blue Mystery Data started to decrypt itself, and smoke started to appear from it! Fortunately, DragonierMan's Untrap defused the situation, and the smoke disappeared, leaving only a cache of zenny behind.

[BMD: 6900z each.]
As the rewards were collected, DragonierMan collapsed on the ground, near death. He had taken a critical shot by the slamming of a RockCube into his back. Even through all that armor he was hurting mightily. The plating dented heavily on his back, cutting into his skin. Suzume, Aya, and Drago began to automatically nit themselves with their own healing signatures to keep them from decompiling, though the twins weren't as poorly off as their parent Navi. They still carried the cuts and bruises of prolonged conflict.

It had only been three battles, but the war against Rogue Net seemed too heavy a cost for these three to fight for long. It was even more impressive that Sylk was able to survive without taking as much punishment as the trio. This last battle in particular showed how dangerous the deep Nets were. "*Cough, cough.* You really are something," Drago wheezed as his broken helmet fell off his head. His hair matted in silver blood coming from the wounds on his forehead. "After I rest for a moment *cough* I think I will leave this place. As much as it pains me to say it... Ugh... I am not strong enough for this place... yet, *cough*."

Aya and Suzume limped over to Sylk, handing over what they found of her share to her. "Ugh... Here. Your share." Suzume collapsed first, splaying out on the ground on her back. "Yup... Going to rest right here. Body... heavy." Aya fell to her knees in front of Sylk. "Ow... I hurt all over. I don't know how you stand this level of punishment. You must be stronger than we could ever believe."
