No sense in telling money to leave, and it wasn't like he didn't have weirder clientele. "Speed Upgrade, coming up, miss," nodded the shopkeeper, bringing out one of the more expensive upgrades the shop had to offer, and packing it up for Leslie.
"All right, that's 5000 zenny. Thank you, and have a nice day," he said.

"Sure thing." Suitachi said as he disappeared into the back room. He came back out with an arm load of Navi Customizer Expansion kit boxes and set them upon the counter. A quick glance to the spot next to the pile of upgrades would reveal that the money had already disappeared. "Have a nice day," the proprietor added before going back to checking his inventory.

However, there was an interesting point in battle prowess brought up to Xenneth by Megami; preparation was key! He was not very good at staving off viruses with simply Battle Chips considering he had such little of a library. So, he done the next best thing and prepared himself by checking at SciLab and its upgrades. By time he figured everything out, he pressed his finger against the displayed stock chat and spoke:

Suddenly, a klaxon briefly sounded off as a thump followed it up, both coming from the back room. The door slammed open with a crash, and a small box flew out, landing on the counter and neatly skidding to a stop. "Oh, crap," a voice said, and Suitachi's head peeped out from the room. "Sorry about that-- Oh, you're buying. Ahaha, all right, you go ahead and pick that up. Have a nice day!" he said, before disappearing back into the room.

Adrian happily strolled into the shop, listening to a catchy tune on her headphones, finally having enough zenny to get some long overdue upgrades for her precious navi. One hand motioned the the PET to momentarily pause her music, as the other pulled the overly large headset down to rest around her neck as she approached the counter with a smile.
"Hello there, how are you doing today? I'm here looking for some HP upgrades for my navi. I believe its the fourth and 5th versions. 3750 in total, i believe?"
Adrian prepared the zenny, fairly certain she was correct in her math unless the shops prices had changed recently and unexpectedly. She assumed that wasn't the case however, since a sudden increase in price wouldn't be very customer friendly, especially in the thriving economy.

"Yep, that's it." Without even looking, Suitachi flung two upgrades onto the counter...the exact two Adrian had requested. If she checked the PET, she'd have noticed some missing zenny, too. "Have a nice day."

Sidestepping past a couple of hurried customers, Hal ducked into the shop gracefully, easing the door shut as he went. Wiping a few motes of dust from his suit, the man turned towards the counter and presented himself to the shopkeeper, "Good evening, I'm new to these parts and have heard many good things of your shop, as such I am here to purchase a few bits for my navi", he announced with a quiet courtesy, passing a written list on a scrap of paper, "I believe this will be a suitable payment", Hal continued as he slid a wad of notes across the counter.

Chris strolled into the shop just after the door was eased shut, and approached the counter. "Hi there," Chris said. "Let me get four Process Upgrades, thanks." He placed his card on the counter to pay for the upgrades.

Suitachi reacted immediately to his customers' requests. "Coming right up!" he said as he reached for a cupboard on the back wall and snatched a handful of hardware out of the boxes inside. Normally a fairly mundane act... unless done without even turning around. Slightly creepy, but he was probably just used to doing it. After grabbing the items, he quickly deposited each customer's purchases into small bags and processed the transactions before seeing them off with a jovial farewell.
"Have a nice day!" he said, finishing up with the register.

Chris grinned as he scooped up his upgrades. He'd have to wait to apply them, however, as his PET was left at home while Nitro made some purchases of his own. "Thanks," Chris said, giving a short wave as he exited the shop.

Feeling refreshed and ready to step into an actual mission, Lyn entered the store. She still hadn't loaded off the haul Ship had earned, so she was in the market for upgrades... Lyn cracked a dry laugh, remarking again at how strange it was to actually be spending earned money for a permanent Navi.
That said, Lyn couldn't deny she was feeling a little bit excited. This purchase would mark the first time she had ever had the chance to design abilities for a Navi of her own. She'd had an extra service available with her training where she would design signature moves for a deprived Navi with no fighting ability... but honestly, she'd stuck to a pretty simple template there, not seeing any need to get creative.
The best part is that with more powerful attacks, maybe Ship would stop acting like such a powderpuff and get a little bit more grit into her net-routine...

Mira burst through the front doors of the shop brimming with an abundance of energy as she usually was. She wasn't here to pick up much, yet she was extremely excited for today, since it was the first time she was going to be working with Katran on upgrading her signature abilities. It was a little odd that it had been put off so long, especially considering they had purchased the upgrade before, but with only two Katran felt it would be a waste with so little space to work with. Mira just seemed to comply with her navi's notion.
She descended upon the counter swiftly, zenny prepared as she cheerfully called to the shopkeeper, an infectiously happy demeanor all the while.
