Inside the shop

Vincent returned to the shop with a faint shaking of his head lightly as he walks up to the front counter. "Seems I miscalculated, I'd like Process Upgrade #9 as well if you please."

"Mm, all right," said Suitachi, picking up another one of the upgrades from the display case, and setting it on the table. "Nine hundred, have a nice day."

"Yeah, you too, thanks." Giving light nod Vincent excused himself to Suitachi, leaving the Navi Customizing shop.

Walking off the metro, Jack quickly walked into the navi shop as he placed down 2400z for what he was about to buy. Hey Suitachi, mind hooking me up with three PUs? I need ones for level seven, eight and nine, so that should come to 2400z, right?

Suitachi twirled around in his chair and gave Jack and serious look before standing up...

...and swiped the money.

Before Jack could say a word, he noticed a box exactly where the money would be. Opening it up would reveal the ordered process upgrades.

Suitachi smiled nonchalantly, "Have a nice day."

Jack took the process upgrades, said thanks and left.

Mark walked into the Store, leading with his eyes as he gazed in excitement around the store. He hadn't been in one of these in a very very long time. He pulled out the list of upgrades that would be best with Trent that he made on the train on the way over, after discussing with Trent of course. He causally walked up to the front counter. He pulled the list in front of his eyes and said, "Could I get four powerUps, and four Process upgrades? This is the first time I've upgraded Powerups, and I have seven process upgrades." He pulled out a very large sum of money, and placed it on the counter near to him, to be exchanged for the requested parts.

A shine appeared in Suitachi's eyes as the thick wad of zenny appeared out of Mark's possession. Without a second to spare, Suitachi grabbed the money as it was laid on the counter, expertly counting it in moments to confirm its amount. Then, the shopkeeper kicked a box behind him into the air, catching some of the upgrades that fell out of the box as it flew. The cardboard box then landed neatly on the counter next to Suitachi as he took out a plastic bag to pack the upgrades in.

"Four PowerUPs and four process upgrades," he recounted, smiling. "Have a nice day."

Mark took the process upgrades happily, more than ready to finally get back out on the networks and be battling again. He had a bit of an extra skip to his step as he left the store, starting to talk with Trent.

Mark quietly turned back around into the store, having not gotten very far in his discussion with Trent, or away from the store. He had forgotten to buy an important item for his navi, something that he nearly couldn't be without. Such a simple mistake could be very deadly out in the nets. He calmy walked to the counter and pulled out his last 1,000 zenny and said, "I forgot to also buy a slashing buster upgrade." He laid the money on the table and tired to not looking in the direction of the shopkeeper, feeling bad for not getting all the upgrades the first time around.

"That's fine," replied Suitachi, as he pulled out the upgrade from the box on the counter without even looking. Taking the 1000 zenny, he made that little 'ka-ching' sound cash registers make and said, "Have a nice day."

Mark took the upgrade from the shopkeeper, having effectively spent all of his money in this shop. He walked out quietly and quickly, preparing himself for the upgrades to come. "I can't wait to get out on the netways again," Trent said as they left the store.

She stood patiently in line waiting for her turn, checking her funds and counting off mentally what she wanted to buy and what she could afford.

"Excuse me, I would like one attack upgrade and one process upgrade please" she mumbled and stared at her feet.

"That'll be thirteen hundred zenny," said Suitachi, tapping some keys on the cash register and placing the two upgrades requested on the countertop. Taking a plastic bag, he packed up the purchases and handed it over to Kari. "There you are. Have a nice day," he said.

She would give a faint nod to thank him before she nabbed the bag and scurried off so she could work on applying her upgrades.

Walking into the Navi Shop, Scarlet strolled up to the counter, and said conscisely, "Excuse me, I'd like a Speed Upgrade and two Process Upgrades, please." No need for long theatrics, just purchase and leave. Yep, that was what she was going to do. Definitely not going to drag out stuff or anything silly like that.

"Back already, huh? Yeah, there's nothing like the magic of testing out a new navi, is there? Collecting your first few upgrades is just thrilling," the salesman chuckled, swapping Scarlet's currency for the requested upgrades. "You know, I remember when I first started out with TempoMan. He's pretty strong now, but starting out, he..."

Suitachi had already given Scarlet her upgrades and taken the money. Perhaps Scarlet could just sneeeeak out...

"....."

Okay, there was a possibly rambling man here, and Scarlet was not about to listen to an hour of rant. Nodding slightly, she quietly slipped out from the shop, hoping the man would not be offended.

Katherine wandered into the Navi shop and glanced around at the various upgrades and programs displayed for sale. She had gotten lost as she left the park, so getting to the shop had taken her longer than intended. She had thought she had seen Scarlet leaving the shop from a distance, but she might have been mistaken.

"Hm," she mused as her eyes moved from one upgrade to the next. "Perhaps a speed upgrade? Though I would like to enhance Durandal's internal system capacity and maybe design a few more custom flourishes. Oh well, maybe next time." She walked over to the counter. "One speed upgrade please."

"All right, speed upgrade coming up," said Suitachi, taking a box from behind the counter with labeling that matched Katherine's order. He packed it up into a plastic bag, and set it on the counter.

"Your total comes up to five thousand. Have a nice day," he said.
