Inside the shop

Without a second thought, the Navi hologram happily waved at the PET in front of him. "I'm SplashMan! Nice to meet you guys!"

"And yep, SplashMan's a super Navi! I'm pretty sure if I didn't have him, I wouldn't be half the NetBattler I am right now..." Uh...hmm, that sounded kinda conceited. "Er, not that I'm exactly all that great anyway..."

"..." The aquatic Navi really wanted to speak up, but eh...now probably wasn't the right time to gush about how great he thought she was. "Anyway, yeah, I wouldn't be too surprised if Rogue Nets were right above the Undernet or something..."

"...Ya know, I'm really not..." ...Eh, if she said that, her Navi would probably freak. Better keep that to yourself, Sabrina Jetto. "...Uh, never mind. Anyway, I guess we should be off. There's a couple of other things I need to do, and if I'm not back by the time the inn serves supper, my mom'll worry herself to death. I don't care what she says, if I get back late, she'll snap!" At least her mother was such a good cook that she rarely felt a desire to stay out after dark. But at the same time, she didn't want to just ditch Zeo..."So, where are you going after this? If it's ACDC Town, we could go together. That's where I need to do stuff, anyway."

Zeo made a mental note of SplashMan (likely saying something about not crossing him) before addressing the two again. "Even Rogue Nets are probably beyond us for now..." Zeo trailed off as ViralMan crossed his arms in a huff. "I'd probably be fine... maybe." He sighed. Zeo listened to Sabrina for a bit longer before replying again. "You live in an inn? Uh, not to insinuate there's anything wrong with that. Anyway..."

He thought about his plans for the next few hours. They probably consisted of something along the lines of 'wander, wander, wander some more'. Zeo figured heading back to ACDC with someone he knew wasn't a bad idea. "Sure, I didn't really have anything to do. To be honest, I didn't think much past coming here." Okay, enough coming across as absent minded. "So yeah, I'll tag along," he said finally, putting his PET back in its holster so that ViralMan could still be heard. He took a short step towards the door, prepared to follow Sabrina out.

"Cool! All right, let's go!" Sabrina took a couple of steps...then stopped, thinking of something. "Though, I do want to say one thing...I don't really 'live' in an inn. It's kinda complicated, but I'm staying there for a while, and my mom got a job as a chef at the same inn..." ...Wow, that suddenly seemed too convenient to be coincidence... "...And I just realized she probably picked that inn because I was staying there. Ugh, Mom...couldn't you have at least been honest with me about it?!" With an enormous sigh, she made her way out, purposely slow so that Zeo could follow her without too much difficulty.

"Hello, Suitachi!" Said Rachel brightly, as she marched in through the front door. "I'm in a hurry, but could you get these parts for me?" She laid down a short written list and a credstick, then folded her hands on the table and stood at attention, looking at Suitachi with an expectant, closed-lipped almost- smile.

Looking at the credstick, Suitachi raised an eyebrow in confusion, then both raised in recognition. Without even glancing at the parts list, Suitachi produced them with lightning speed, and jammed the credstick into the register. Some kind of sickening mechanical sound later, he returned it.

"Six thousand five hundred zenny. Have a nice day," said the shopkeeper.

"Impressive," muttered Rachel under her breath, but she knew where this skill came from. Skilled Operators, her uncle included, were marked by the ability to manipulate electronic components at the speed of thought, opening and closing switches, typing commands, and of course slotting-in chips.

She scooped up her things and waved to Suitachi as she left for one more thing before returning to Guy.

Jared opened the door for someone just exiting the shop, waited for them to pass, then walked in. He walked up to the counter and placed a cash card on the counter. He'd already loaded it with the requisite 3900 Zenny. "Heya. I'd like a Process Upgrade #19 and a #20."

"Ah, it's you again."

The shopkeeper nodded in acknowledgment as his hands went into a flurry, swiping cash card, obtaining upgrades, and packaging everything into a neat plastic bag. "Two Process Upgrades, three thousand nine hundred. Have a nice day," said Suitachi.

"Planning on it. You do the same." Jared said as he turned around and headed for the door. He checked to make sure his airline ticket to Netopia was still in his pocket, then walked on to the metroline. It would be good to get home....

Walking into the shop, whilst programing Freya's SP, he placed down 700z onto the counter. Process Upgrade number 7 please. He said, waiting for the upgrade, he continued on working on the SP.

Walking over from a half-restocked store shelf, Suitachi grinned at the customer and retrieved his requested item. "And just when I thought the tide of customers had finally stopped," he chuckled. Taking his payment and leaving the upgrade on the counter, he strolled back towards his current task.

"Have fun with whatever you're programming," he said with a light wave as he returned to his duties.

Jack GET: Process Upgrade 7
Jack LOSE: 700z

Nodding and mumbling his thanks, Jack picked up his item and left.

Walking casually into the shop after getting off the metro, Shin leaned against the counter and waved Suitachi over.

"I'll need two PowerUps for the little lady. I've already got four, so 11,000z should do it," Shin requested, handing a card with the amount stated to the shopkeep.

Suitachi glanced over towards Shin from his chair before he stood and walked towards the counter.

"So I guess she's a fan of her buster, hm?"

He turned around and grabbed the necessary upgrades before he turned back and gave Shin the upgrades, as he took the Zenny and took it to the register.

"Have a good day."

"Yeah, it's the only thing we can invest in at the moment, eh?" Shin replied, grinning as he took his upgrades, installing them on the way out.

Marius came through the door with his cash card ready at hand and came by the counter with very little enthusiasm on his face. "Excuse me if I look a little bitter right now. But I'm here to buy some Process Upgrades and a BusterReset for my navi." As he listed off the upgrades he needed, slid his card towards the shop keeper and eyed around the other merchandises.

Suitachi looked at the downcast man that had walked into his shop, and smiled. "I'll get you those right away," he said, grabbing the card and swiping it without further delay. After confirming the correct amount of zenny was there, he deftly leaned to the side and picked the upgrades from their respective positions, placing them onto the counter top.

"Hope these can cheer you up a bit. Try and have a nice day, all right?"

Marius LOSE: 9600z

Marius nodded and returned the smile in good gesture. "Much appreciate it." Picking off the upgrades and the cash card, Marius slowly walked through the door and headed towards the nearest station to return to his home.

Dave made his way nonchalantly into the store. He made his way up to the front counter, and leafed through the stock binder. After a few seconds of deliberation, he decided upon what he wanted.

"Hey, could I get an HP memory? The first one is 1,000 zenny, right?" As he spoke, he placed his money on the counter.

"Yes, that's right. One moment," replied Suitachi as he walked towards a shelf behind him, grabbing the upgrade from a box and placing it on the counter top. An exchange of monetary compensation was done, and the transaction was completed without a hitch.

"There you go. Have a nice day," said the shopkeeper.
