Inside the shop

Nodding, Vincent took both card and his upgrade before heading back outside.

Burt just missed Vincent as he skid back into the shot, having u-turned after realizing that he had enough money to pay for some upgrades before his big Counterinfectualism mission. "Hey, Suitachi, real quick! I left my niece and nephew down the block somewhere to come here and buy some upgrades. I'm going right back to them, I swear, but if something happens to them it's on you!" he laughed, half joking, half unjustified threatening. "I'll take an HP Upgrade as well as two process upgrades. That should give Exxy the boost she needs," the teacher confirmed, sliding more zenny across the counter while contemplating whether wearing a scarf and sweater in such hot weather was actually perhaps a bad idea.

Suitachi's brow twitched at the sight of Burt... again.... so soon. Customer service or not, I really want him to just leave. Instead of saying what he thought, Squitachi just nodded and disappeared into the back room for a moment. He came back out with the requested upgrades in near-record time. "Here you are." He did not add 'have a nice day'. The money had already vanished from the counter by the time he'd finished speaking.

Suitachi actually managed (somehow) to make it to the back room and out of sight before rolling his eyes and face-palming at his 'valued customer'.

Mazer walked in past the automatic sliding doors of the Navi shop, and pulled his PET from his pocket. He stood patiently behind a scarfed gentleman in line ahead of him, and took the opportunity to retrieve his zenny card. Once the man was finished, he approached the counter, placing the card down.
"Hello, could I get four process upgrades... *muffled cough* and a HP+50 please?"

"Now that's speedy service!" Burt applauded the shopkeeper, taking his upgrades and apparently losing whatever sense of urgency he'd had while purchasing them. He walked out at a leisurely pace, installing the new programs as he strolled along. "The perfect grows yet more perfect! Counterinfectualism really does bring everything to its most beautiful form," he mused to himself.

((Leaving for ACDCTown Beach Street))

"Sure thing." Suitachi said with a nod as he turned and disappeared into the back room. He returned shortly with a tray loaded with boxes, and set the whole thing on the counter. "Here you are." And about three seconds later... "And here you are, Mr. Pratrovski." Suitachi managed to repeat himself as he held Mazer's card out for the customer to reclaim. "Have a nice day."

Mazer retrieved his new upgrades, stacking them in a manageable pile before getting the card back from Suitachi.
"Thanks, have a good one."

Mazer smiled and gathered up his stuff before making his way out the door.

Onward the young blonde wandered after her Navi's (failed on one end, succeeded on another) excursion into the 'net, which itself had given her more than enough for this trip. Glancing around a little, she quickly pinpointed what she was looking for (after a quick scan with her PET for any jack-in points; one never knew when such knowledge might be useful!) before she made her way to the counter, setting her PET on its surface.

"Alright... can only afford one, so I'll be taking an HP Memory, and... while I'm at it, since that gives a little bump, I'll grab two process upgrades as well, since that's all I seem to have space for at the moment."

Buying HP Memory #1 (1000z), process upgrades #1 & 2 (300z total) = 1300z

Suitachi listened as Risa made her upgrade selection, tallying them up in his head. "That'll be 1300z, please."

After getting the appropriate payment, Suitachi quickly pulled the requested upgrades from the shelf behind him. He handed the upgrades to the girl with a smile. "Thank you, have a nice day."

'You too... for what's left of it, at least," Risa replied with a little grin, retrieving her PET and wandering off back to ACDC Town, and home.

Having already addressed his lunch issue (via a fast food value menu), Mill had spent the next half hour browsing the shelves of Suitachi's Navi shop. Admittedly, he wasn't really looking at the upgrades he ultimately came to purchase, but instead looking at PET models and various core parts. Harddrives, CPUs, screens, Battlechip readers, batteries... Mostly he was looking at brand name PETs, though, to see if there were any new ideas coming out. What did Mill find? Link PET, Link PET, Link PET, Link PET...

... Yeah. No inspiration to be found here. "Guess I wouldn't be so dead set on building custom PETs if the brand models weren't all the same..." Mill muttered quietly to himself while touching the damaged PET in his pocket. Admittedly, he was entirely window-shopping with the PET selection, because Mill's own shop in Electown had an ample supply of various pieces he could work with. Suitachi's just... usually had the high-spec stuff on display, so Mill wanted to scout that out a bit.

Hmm? Spying? Competition? Heavens no. Mill could see the death flag in that venture. His was mostly a used parts store anyway. Mill was just a customer today, comparing parts to no conclusive end... Wait. Okay, yeah, maybe he should just give up if he was willing to admit this wasn't going anywhere. So, with that said, Mill went back over to the upgrade section, picked out a few things that he probably could've chosen right from the start, and proceeded to checkout.

Suitachi smiled as Mill placed the appropriate sum on the counter for the upgrades he'd decided to purchase. "Thank you very much. Have a nice day." The money was already gone by the time the shopkeep finished speaking.

"Thanks." replied Mill as he took his purchases and walked out the door. He checked the time, and... Eh, Anyis and Magna's restoration would probably be done by the time he got home, if he took the scenic route. So, Mill took the scenic route home, whatever that may be.

(To ACDC)

Destin Obscura huffed a little as he rushed into the store, bracing himself on the counter. "Good, you're still open at this hour. I would like to purchase... Wait, there was a price change to Navi Customizer Expansions... And the HP Memories? And more math? Aww man!
"Ok, no problem, just let me break out my calculator... ... ... Ok, hold on, let me check my balance."

After some time it seemed as if the refund wasn't coming. Destin sighed and pulled back some of his cash. "Just the v15 Process Upgrade please."

"1500z... Yep, that's exact change. Here's your purchase, and have a nice day." said Suitachi as Destin's payment disappeared in the blink of an eye. The register never opened... Hmm.

And with that, Destin waved a goodbye and left.

"I never would of thought the SciLab doctors would come back to the meeting humbled, of all things..." mused Emily to herself as she walked into the Navi Shop. "That went so quick that I have time to shop~"

"... Mmmn..." moaned Mir from inside her Operator's purse.

"I'm really sorry Mir, we're just right here already and I just need a minute. You'll be happy as a result of this, I swear!" whispered Emily after opening her purse and talking into it.

"Nnn..." whimpered Mir through an array of sinus problems. Damn that boxing glove.

Aware of her Navi's suffering, Emily quickly picked up a speed upgrade and some process upgrades off their respective shelves and proceeded to checkout. She honestly wanted to buy a lot more, but Mir always had her bank account on lockdown...

Hardly batting an eye, Suitachi swiftly received Emily's purchases and payment on the counter and completed the transaction. He snatched a bag from somewhere behind the counter as the register dinged with an approval, gracefully sliding everything into the bag before pushing it across the surface to the customer.

"Thank you and have a nice day," he finished jovially.

"Thank you!" replied Emily with a charming smile as she took her purchases in one hand, adjusted the purse strap on her shoulder, and left the store. Ultimately she decided to head over to her Den apartment before going back to NAXA, although not only for Mir. As she walked out the door, Emily realized that she couldn't just carry the upgrades she bought onto the flight to Netopia. Oh well, home was relative anyway.

(Moving to Dentech)

Striding into the store quickly, taking an instant to take in the sparse, but strangely relaxing, aesthetic, Morin hurried towards the counter.

Looking over the catalog with haste, Morin considered what to purchase, 'Speed, HP, and Process upgrades, I think...

Reaching for his zenny, he suddenly blanched, 'Wait...no! I only have...why?! Oh, nigh-unlimited resources, how I miss you!'

Looking up at Suitachi, he made his order, "I'll just take a Process upgrade. I believe 100 zenny will suffice?"

He offered the shopkeeper his 100 zenny. Though he tried to act like it was a pittance to him, he was internally cringing at the loss of more than 10% of his worldly liquid resources.

'Oh, to be rich again...still, I can't let poverty change who I am. I still have my pride, and I will maintain my decorum. I won't harm the family name any further.'

He waited patiently, or at least that was how it appeared.
