I still remember when we first met, where you were venturing out to the net for the first time. But in what seemed to be a blink of an eye, you've evolved from a bright eyed "spiderling" to an efficient, exacting, powerful Navi with a passion and spirit few can meet. Hopefully this gift is to your liking, I tried to make something light and fast, but sturdy enough to meet the rigors of combat. I would love to see it in action, so feel free to drop us a line!

I wish I had something better to say, but it looks like Mach stole my thunder. I am so happy to be your friend, and I hope our friendship lasts forever; you're just too cute and so much fun! I thought I could add a little 'light' to the design, and a gratuitous helping of high voltage to boot. After looking at the final design, I can't help but be a little jealous, but hopefully I can convince Mach and Mazer to make me something similar... Description: With this .GMO active, though her overall outline remains unchanged, she undergoes a wide variety of changes. Her thin, lithe body is wrapped in a flexible, form-fitting bodysuit which looks pitch black at a glance, but under the light one can see a tinge of deep crimson. The bodysuit itself appears to be made of a durable woven fabric, the slight gloss of the material makes her look lightly polished. The bodysuit stretches from the base of her jaw all the way down to her toes. The bodysuit also demonstrates one significant change: her form is entirely human, 2 legs, 2 arms, 10 fingers and toes.
The suit leaves her face exposed, contrasting her very lightly tanned skin with freckles dotting her cheeks. Her hair color is largely unchanged, as well as her sharp angled bangs. However, instead of a spiked bun, her hair runs down to just slightly above her shoulders, splaying outwards aggressively. Her hair does little to obscure her wildly green eyes, though she only has 2 in this form, their bright green hue gives her a piercing, seemingly dangerous gaze. While she no longer has the fangs to complement her hungry eyes, her incisors are still pronounced enough to give her the untamed look. Though hiding her features would almost be a shame, the .GMO includes a variable helmet. The helmet itself is held to her face with a pair of comfortable, matte gray ear covers from which the shining, smooth visor sprouts forth. The visor comes in several 'modes,' the first being a simple horizontal strip of material just over her eyes, the second encompassing her head all the way down to her nose, and the third covers her entire head. The visor is so darkly tinted and polished; it is very difficult to see her face underneath. With the full visor mode active, a set of glowing gold 'eyes' appear in the visor, imitating Sylk's own eyes as well as adding 4 smaller eyes to provide a familiar arachnid look.
Other areas of her body are protected as well. The largest piece of armor is fitted over Sylk's ample chest, it isn't overly thick and matches the contours of her body to keep a light, smooth profile. The armor material itself is a matte dark gray, but the subtle in the material make it look like it's constructed by tens of thousands of octagonal pieces. Fastened to the front of the armor are four conical-shaped 'sleeves,' their points facing towards the middle of her chest while their open ends are lined with glowing gold strips of light. Their function will be revealed later.
The armor stops slightly above her bellybutton, and does not resume till one reaches the tops of her thighs. The armor is of the same color and material of her chestpiece, and look impossibly attached to the outside of her thighs; there are no belts or straps over the insides of her thighs. The armor angles inward as it travels down her thighs, eventually wrapping around the top of her knees. The outer face of the thigh armor bears an angular stripe of golden light which stretches from the front of her thigh just above the knee and turns sharply horizontal at mid thigh before resuming a smooth curve back towards the top of the armor.
Her greaves are also armored, but thinly enough to make them appear very light weight. While the boot-like greaves have a pronounced heel, it is barely 2.5 inches tall, seemingly adopting function over fashion. The soles of the greaves are textured nicely, giving Sylk a good amount of traction and stability. The circular plates over her ankles glow warmly, with a few thin 'veins' of golden light tracing over the creases in the armor up to her thigh plates.
The last bits of her body to be armored are her hands and forearms, but they are easily the most complicated. While her vambraces seem fairly simple, they are capable of folding outwards to accommodate a wide variety of weapons, then collapsing down to a snug fit when not in use. Both of her hands are covered in a set of gloves constructed of several small plates of armor, woven and secured together by glowing gold 'wire' and circular lights. Each one of her knuckles are lit up, as well as her fingertips. They seem fragile and delicate, but they were not designed to deliver crushing punches or slicing cuts, they were designed to control something to do that for her.
Attached to Sylk's back is a mechanical spider, looking as if it was made of polished obsidian. While fastened to her back, four of its eight legs wrap around her chest and slide into the "sleeves" on her chestplate and snap into place to keep it firmly connected to her. Its finger-like mandibles gently wrap around her neck like an ornate metal necklace, revealing glowing gold fangs that touch ever so slightly together in a "V" between her collarbones. The spiderpack's other four arms move freely, and are completely controlled by Sylk's gloves, like a marionette. The upper arms can utilize fragment/defragment tools, bisectors, data welders, and manipulators. The lower two arms are primarily for weaponry, containing manipulators, wired projectiles/tasers, and busters. Housed in the abdomen of the spiderpack is a glowing ring, and inside sits an actively spinning generator, providing power to both itself and its mistress. The pack is almost entirely controlled remotely, it can only safely attach/detach from Sylk without guidance. However, even on the ground it is impressively nimble, and can bring its weapons to bear from a slight distance (approx 10 feet), but it won't stray past its relatively short range. Sylk can utilize the cameras on the 'face' of the pack to give her a different perspective of the battlefield, which can be especially useful when capitalizing on the pack's small size and high dexterity.
Combat: This .GMO provides Sylk with suitable protection, but she is still vulnerable to direct fire. To work around this, the spiderpack and her vambraces can host a variety of weapons to give her an all-range offensive package. She can also attack using her detached pack while simultaneously engaging targets from a different angle. With the pack attached, most chips would manifest as tools/weapons sprouting from the packs mechanical arachnid legs.
You all should talk to Yasu and see if you can get her to make her sexy outfits functional like this one...
