Theremin

I was wondering if anyone else had heard of a theremin before.

From what I know, it's an electronic instrument that you don't actually touch to play. It sends out electronic (I think radio) signals to see where your hands are and in what position they are to change pitch, tone, rhythm, and volume of the music. It's actually really interesting. Here's a video on one.

I'll stick to the EWI. I already knew of the Theremin though.
OH GOD WHAT.
the old starwars sound effect maker, I miss those
Hey, I've played one of those before...
Bill Bailey has one of those.
there is one at the "ontario science center" near me...

or at least there used to be, they pretty much gutted all of the actual science just so kids can play...
Theremins. Theremins are awesome instruments. I think they were first used to make sound effects for Russian Sci-Fi movies...

Either that, or the Clangers.
