What game did Plenair actually originate from? The earliest I saw her in was Disgaea, and she's so popular that it couldn't have been her very minor appearance there that won her that much fame...

That was her first appearance in Disgaea 1, but she has cameos in most Nippon Ichi games. Plus, she is like the artist's mascot and favorite character.
