The usual lighting bolt struck the firery wasteland that is Hades Isle.Net. Followed by a smaller incoming fire ball, that burst into a poof a smoke once it made contact with the land. Once the smoke cleared, Lucky was revealed, standing right beside his partner Sparks. They surveyed the area before stepping off in search of their bounty. "Be careful out here Lucky, I've never fought here so I don't know what to expect."
The dog was walking slightly ahead of the samurai, with it's purplish black tongue haning out the side of his snout.... "I'm ready for whatever comes our way."

Sparks and Lucky show up in Hades!
last edited by
Arriving in the baking heat of Hades net, Sparks was starting off with a daring trip for his new SP. they arrived in a broad, high-ceilinged cavern that positively sweltered with a dry heat and made the air feel like it was shimmering. The metal plating underfoot was scalding hot, but bearable; a little out from the drop zone, however, it twisted and warped, glowing hotter still. Most of the land seemed hard-baked and fairly even, though large piles of coal heaped up in the edges and sides of the cavern, which stretched away ahead for a long distance.
It seemed like a few viruses were in the area to greet them — mostly just a slightly bloated-looking Puffy to one side, and a sword-wielding Zemon a little further out to the other... but before they could engage, a rumble in the cavern preceded an earth-shaking roar and the shattering of earth. Dead ahead, the ground erupted as a large lava-dragon burst upwards, bellowing a challenge to everything around, virus and navi-alike. It seemed unfriendly.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... BARK BARK BARK!" Lucky got riled up at the sight of the welcoming committee that greeted them while they ventured into Hades.
"Calm down friend, we need to approach with caution..." With that said samurai and dog alike summoned their defenses hoping to add a little protection for the inevitable battle ahead. Sparks eyed the dragon first, and then the fellow sword user. "You both have something I want." He drew his electrical katana and pointed at the Lavagon. "We're here for your head. Don't dissapoint."
While all of this was going down the Net Op was of course sending his partner chip data. First a pickpocket followed by the Gaia1 chip. "Here, use these and let's end this and move on."
"Yes master." Sparks replied, "Lucky you take it easy for now, I will try to whittle them down." A duplicate Sparks formed directly infront of him and rushed the Zemon attacking with a slashing motion that aimed to make the Zemon attack the clone in return. Directly behind the clone came a domesticated speedy little Bandcoon virus. Sparks had focused his senses before tapping into the PickPocket chip, so the Bandcoon would have just a little more pep in his step as it made a grab attempt towards the sword that the virus wielded. Hoping not to leave empty handed the rodent took off into the distance to wait for things to clear out.
Sparks needed to keep on his toes as well, an attack could come from any direction as they were surrounded. He tried to read the attacks of his enemies and plan the best counter movement. What ever came his way, he would attempt to dodge twice by sliding to his left first, then rolling forward in preparation of his operators favorite attack. During his roll the electric katana vanished, only to be replaced with the Gaia's hammer. Once his body came to a halt, there was a slight pause in motion so that he could quickly focus the attack before slamming the head of the hammer into the ground, carelessly sending a powerful shockwave in all directions.
Even though Lucky had his barrier equipped, seeing the powerful shockwave come flying towards him gave him an unsettling feeling. "Sparks, what the hell are you doing!?" He tried to read the wave as best as he could, before attempting to leap over it, still cussing out his comrade for the foolish attack. "You're not fighting alone anymore, you cant use something like this whenever you damn please." Hoping to land safely on all fours the yelling continued, "Next time at least let me know ahead of time!"

Sparks and his new ally raised protections as they measured up their welcoming party, but the sword-wielding virus was quick off the mark, warping in to take a slash at the pair before they could respond. Sparks dodged while the blade swung above Lucky, missing, and a moment later the electric warrior's decoy crackled into sight, beginning to harass the virus. In the heat of the moment, it was fooled, and turned slightly to make a second cut aimed primarily at the clone instead. The decoy was bisected, but while the broad stroke could have cut into Sparks as well, the angle wasn't good enough, and the virus scored no proper hits.
Just behind it now, Sparks' bandcoon pounced, managing to get purchase on the Zemon and frisking it with quick actions. It had something in its paws as it darted away, but Sparks couldn't see exactly what it had retrieved yet. This was primarily because their scrapping was interrupted by another fierce bellow of a road. The Lavagon inhaled, forming a large globe of fire in front of it, then blasted the ball forward aimed squarely at Sparks' side angle. Already dealing with his current engagement, the samurai wasn't able to dodge away from this assault quick enough, and the heavy ball of fire struck him side on and sent him staggering from the impact — it ripped clean through his protective barrier, barely slowed, and scorched his body before dissipating.
In amongst this, the puffy virus shuddered for a moment then sent a distinctly less intimidating bubble of heat bouncing along over the heated panels towards Lucky. The bubble was slow and inaccurate, but as it passed to one side it began to bounce around in and arc, spiralling back towards the pup and homing in.
While Sparks stumbled from the heavy blow that the dragon had sent his way, the Hades warm welcome committee didn't seem interested in letting him off easy. The Volgear near the back was drawing strength from the smouldering coals beneath it, and it drew itself up then sank down into the coals briefly, opening its mouth to vent excess heat as a wall of fire erupted beneath Sparks' feet with far more potency than one might expect from viruses of that calibre. It was quick too, and try as he might to escape the sudden inferno the flames rushed up around him, burning with a harsh sear.
Perhaps infuriated by these assaults, perhaps a little careless of the situation, or maybe just determined to hammer out a solution, Sparks responded with his crushing hammer, obliterating the nearby Zemon with the down-stroke and sending a violent shock wave outwards. Fortunately for both him and his new ally, Lucky was able to avoid getting hit by the wave, however, the uneven expansion of force also let several of the viruses escape harm as well. Aside the Zemon, it was hard to see what else he'd managed to hit; The Lavagon hadn't been affected at all, and the Volgear appeared to have lucked out, and found a gap in the wave as it passed across the coals. The puffy, too, continued on where it was, seemingly oblivious in amongst the heat haze coming off the furnace panels below it. One thing the wave did hit was the bubble of heat that was homing its way back around; it burst as the wave rolled by, sending jets of fire in all directions. One barley missed Sparks, and another splashed off Lucky's barrier, before things finally settled down for a moment.

Sparks received a massive blow from the one virus he was hunting the most. Ultimately breaking through his barrier and dealing a crucial amount of damage. "It worked out right?" Sparks was referring to his reckless use of the Gaia.
"Yea this time. Serves you right getting bit by that Dragon. But it seems I need to keep my distance huh?" Lucky didn't wanna get close and receive the same type of attack his partner got hit with.
"BubbleStar1, ElecSword! Download." Joseph continued to slot in battlechips from the real world.
This time Sparks chose to send his clone straight ahead which the intention of luring the Lavagon into wasting an attack. While the clone rushed the dragon, the Navi tightened his senses once again giving him a short burst of immense focus before tapping into the first chip. With the blink of an eye Sparks tried to trap the three remaining viruses inside a small person bubble prison.
Just in case he missed, both him and Lucky would choose to take advavasive manuvours, showing how good they were on there feet, ready to avoid the next attacks that were launched their directions.

Recovering from the unexpectedly fierce hit, Sparks sought to control the situation. He took careful aim, sending out the containing bubbles at the viruses arrayed before him, but as unwieldy as they were, striking he three that remained was difficult; he managed to encapsulate the most fearsome for, but ensuring the strike left the other two bubbles meandering wide of their marks. Even so, the dragon was successfully trapped, the bubble-shell arcing up and over its form, and distending no matter how it thrashed. It inhaled, as though it was about to breath another stream of fire, but Sparks would know that it wouldn't be able to piece the bubble's wall from inside, now.
Unfortunately, it couldn't all go smoothly, and while he was taking care of the dragon's threat, the Volgear at the back created another blast of fire, this time erupting from the ground beneath Lucky and stripping the pup of his remaining barrier before he could dodge out of the way. Better the barrier than the SP himself though.

Lucky spit a metallic looking fire ball towards the ground below him, sending a sheet of shiny metal footing that stretched out as far as Lucky could push it. Sparks didn't look to make use of the terrain at the moment, instead he chose to focus more on the trapped little dragon.
Joseph had since slotted in another chip, one that would become powerful enough to flatten the dragon like virus. Once again the Gaia's hammer appeared in the samurai's grasp, while a small look of disbelief crossed lucky's face. "Are you really gonna do it again."
"No, just watch." Sparks lifted the hammer high, and brought it downward. The hammer's head sparked with electricity as it fell downwards, aiming to crush the bubble trapped target. If the blow made contact it would deal an over the top amount of damage, bringing the dragon down.
The Putfy-F and Volgear still looked to give them trouble, so Sparks continued to pushed to end the battle. He threw the hammer away causing it to once again fade away in a poor of junk data. He unsheathed his blade activating the ElecSword battlechip that Joseph sent earlier. The energy sword glowed a bright canary yellow sparking with a fearsome eldctrical prowess. Sparks sent his clone towards the fat fish, hoping to fake it out into making a mistake.
Once the clone made its move, Sparks dashed towards the Volgear behind him attacking with his powerful blade. His attack was a simple, traditional wideslash. Metal or not the slash would be enough to bring the speedy little pest down.
Hoping his clone succeed in forcing the Puffy into making a mistake, Sparks followed up his tirst slash, by rushing the fish and slashing again. This time his attack wasn't so plain, with an added spin to but a fun magestic twist on his electric attack. If the Puffy wasn't sitting on Lucky's metal terrain then one attack wouldn't be enough, however if the metal was present and the slash made contact, everyone could say good by too their favorite chubby tire fish. Perhaps he wasn't able to finish the battle, just in case he needed to keep quick and be ready to avoid an oncoming attack from his enemies.

Acting quickly to capitalise on his trap, Sparks electrified another hammer and leapt towards the encased Lavagon. Furious in defiance, it blew a stream of fire that only curled around inside the bubble and seemed to fill it up, before the hammer crashed through and obliterated bubble, virus and all.
Lucky changed the panels below them to something more friendly, while the homing bubble passed by him a second time, missing and popping gently elsewhere, now too weak to do any harm. The puffy looked about to launch another, but Sparks' decoy got up in its field of attention and it sent the magma bubble towards it instead. The clone wasn't so great at avoiding such things, and it was hit; the bubble burst and sent a spread of fire in many directions, but fortunately for both sparks and Lucky, none of the extra flame jets were accurate enough to threaten them.
There was a brief lull while the remaining viruses gathered themselves for another attack, but Sparks wasn't eager to let them try, instead making quick work with his sword, darting this way and that to cut the remaining pair up before they could hassle them any further. The Volgear was destroyed, and though it seemed sturdier, the arcing from the freshly formed metallic panels beneath the Puffy ensured that the crackling of Sparks' sword was the last thing it had to think about.
With the battle concluded, sparks was able to gather some loot from the remains of his foes, while Lucky could collect freshly fragmented frags. Sparks was able to retrieve the fallen Zemon's weapon, and better luck, it was intact enough to convert to chip data. while they were searching, his bandcoon returned with its own stolen prize. Not quite as valuable as Sparks' own find, the small scraps of armour that it carried would convert fairly easily into a small amount of convertible currency.

"Well that battle had some sweet rewards but didn't exactly go as planned, so let's Jack out and come right back." Joseph said. "We don't wanna push too deep and be overpowered in a weakened state." Joseph unplugged the cord, then quickly plugged it back in. Causing Sparks and his dog to disappear momentarily, before dejavuing into the same spot, in the same manner as earlier.
"Lucky, you need to learn to fly or something. The Gaia can be a strong tool for us, but as long as you're ground ridden, I can't safely count on it." Sparks ran different scenarios through his head trying to think of ways to make it work.
"It'll be a while before I fly Sparks. We will figure something out. Until then, let's keep working on getting better."

Sparks and Lucky appeared in a desert of Hades. The area was covered equally in sand and furnace terrain, with a patch of coal and some missing holes. It was hot and hazy. Interestingly enough, there were a bunch of crumbling stone statues of Lavagons dotting the landscape (at least one per 10% terrain). Two missing holes, with sand and furnace terrain pouring into them, stood east and west with floating platforms above them. Each one had a Lavagon statue looking at each other in a straight line between them. Coming out of one of the holes, a Lavagon emerged. The platform with the statue floated above it.
Various other viruses were in the area, a mini-dragon and various fire elemental creatures were basking in the heat of the coal and furnace terrain. A Handy virus appeared over some sand. There was a screech from the Lavagon as the intruders to their land were noticed. It was a fire-fight!

HandyHandy (Handy)
Handy Viruses attack by opening a dimensional gate below themselves, and dropping into it. The exit gate opens next to their destination, and they will rise out of it holding an explosive. This explosive is placed on an unbroken panel, and the Handy is free to move after. The use of gates does not count as teleporting, but can be used as a means of dodging as they attack. Gates are only used when attacking, and at no other time. Handy viruses will not set a new explosive until either a turn has passed, or they pass one action without setting a new bomb, whichever comes first. For more info on the bombs Handy viruses use, see below.

Sparks and Lucky rearvived in Hades.Net. This time their setting was slightly different. Not a normal panel in sight, giving the advantage to their new found opponents. "Is this some kind of Lavagon worship area?" Sparks scanned the area taking note of the many dragon statues that scattered across the land. "Lucky, I need you to give us some better footing."
As soon as Sparks said that the Chow Chow spit his metal fire ball towards the area between them and the viruses closer to the Dragin, aiming to cause a thin layer of metallic footing to spread in all directions under himself, Sparks, and as many enemies as the .SP's power would allow it. Lucky, still young and inexperienced but he glared at his enemies with a piercing gaze before sending a second fire ball flying towards the fire typed HardHead. The blast was small, yet powerful and would be enough to shatter the virus's defense and delete it, outside of the attack missing.
Sparks was weary of using his barrier while the Lavagon reigned over the arena. For now he would take it easy and focus on eliminating those that opposed him. First his clone split out as if it was a soul leaving Sparks' body. It charged at the Dragin with their usual strategy of faking the enemy out. The samurai could feel the power of two chips inside of him. This would be the first battle that Joseph chose to slot them in. First came the MarkCannon1 chip. The blaster appeared in Sparks' right hand. Stronger and more accurate then his usual Cannon attack he fired the blast towards the same target his clone pursued. The blast flew towards the smaller of the two dragons, carrying a small electrical charge with it.
With beautiful and complex footwork Sparks moved side to side as he stepped forward, closer to his enemies. Hoping this fluid motion helped him dodge any return fire that came his way. He threw the cannon to his side, while his dominant hand began to glow with a bright hot firey energy. With a deep breath and a quick focus the Navi balled the hand into a fist and punched the air in front of him sending a fire ball flying towards the floating hand, had it not disappeared first. Again he punched the air, this time sending a second ball of flame flying towards his bounty virus the Lavagon. The attack wouldn't delete it, but hopefully it would injure it making it easier to take down.
After the second fire ball left his fist, the light vanished. Even if he was able to land the attacks, they still had battle ahead of them. Sparks jumped backwards in anticipation of even more incoming firepower from remaining viruses.

With only a few moments to spare for the peculiar scene they found before them, Sparks and Lucky had viruses to deal with Predictably, the HotHead sealed itself shut as soon as combat was upon them, but as Lucky altered much of the ground beneath their feet and then took a quick shot at the virus, it seemed that moving swiftly between terrain changing and attacking was still a little new to the SP, and his projectile missed its mark by a narrow fraction.
The Handy virus ducked away into its own portal, only to reappear just to the side of the statue that they had seen the Mettfire virus hide behind. It placed a large, obscuring time bomb on the field, further walling the shy virus in and covering it from attacks; this bomb bore a large 'X' on the count panel, but the Handy seemed satisfied.
As the melee degenerated further, Sparks send his decoy to harass the Dragrin and keep it occupied while he lined up a shot, but as the clone crossed the field towards it, two of the statues rumbled. Their eyes lit up with fire, and a moment later a broad gout of flame roared between them, from each mouth to meet in the middle, on the line that they faced each other. The clone was immediately incinerated, but it still appeared to have done its job: the Dragrin looked quizzically at the place where it had been, just long enough for the real Sparks to nail it with his imbued cannon shot. the extra arcing of the electrical charge down to the newly formed metal panels and back again was enough to shock the otherwise quite sturdy virus into submission.
While this exchange took place, the Mettfire, safely ensconced behind its statue and now blocked off further by a time bomb, waved its staff in the air and called down as warm of three burning meteors; one caught Lucky by surprise, one was woefully inaccurate, and Sparks managed to nimbly dodge the third before releasing his first fireball towards the hand virus. The virus turned, putting its hand up as thought o catch the fireball, and catch it it did. Of course, the shot still burst over it, engulfing the virus in fire and destroying it utterly.
The Lavagon, having watched for a few seconds, drew in a breath and exhaled a wide, long stream of fire across the area where sparks and Lucky fought. Fortunately, both of them were able to escape the licking flames of its breath and Sparks retaliated with a second fireball which slammed into the creature's midsection, making it reel back and roar with indignation.

Joseph sent his partner another handfull of chips, gearing them up for a second offensive strike. The first chip was a FireTower1, which had been won from the previous bounty hunt. Sparks thought it wise to pass the chips power of to his comrade. With a gentle pat on the dog's head, the chip's data was sent over to the .SP. "Be careful around the statues, the one over that ways incinirated my clone earlier." Sparks pointed in the direction that the Dragin once stood, once again summoning his clone and Bandcoon.
Lucky ran towards the Metfire, who was sure to believe itself safe in the vicinity of the statue and bomb of unknown power. The dog was weary as it stepped near the bomb, but focused his sight on the magical fire virus. Lucky's mouth glowed a deep reddish orange, as he crept a even closer to the target. Using everything he had to not hit the bomb, he breathed a stream of fire towards the ground, causing powerful eruptions to burst upwards into the sky, one by one, each moving closer to the Mettfire. Lucky's focus was the Mettfire, but taking out the statue infront of him wouldn't hurt either.
While his pup was busy dealing with that enemy, Sparks sent his clone out on another dummy mission. Sprinting straight towards the hunted Lavagon. That wasn't the onlything that ran in it's way however. The bandcoon sped along, keeping itself hidden behind the clone as best it could. Once in range it pounced upwards, jumping towards the fire breathing monster, and made a grab for it's data. Hoping to have succefully grabbed something of use, the tame virus landed and fled into the distance, waiting for a safer time to reappear.
Sparks and Lucky alike took a moment to gather themselves. Attempting to anticipate what form of attacks may trouble them this to around. Lucky would jump backwards to create a little bit of distance between he and the statue, had the FireTower not brought it down. While Sparks continued his fluidly masterfully steps, swaying to the right and left hoping to draw and attack to his slight afterimage.
Whole Sparks hoped his clone, and theif could keep the Lavagon busy, he tapped into the Gaia's hammer again. The samurai jumped towards his new focal point. Wether the lockjawed HotHead remained defensive or went on the attack Sparks was intent on flattening the virus with one powerful slam of the hammer. In the blink of an eye his attack was done.
The power of the fourth chip glittered through out the sheathed blade at Sparks' side. He carefully unsheathed his sword, revealing a shiny, sharp Katana of expert craftsmanship. He could feel the the blades potent ability rushing through him as his eyes locked with the dragon who was sure to be done with the pest that came earlier. The stare down was reminiscent to a samurai stand off. In a flash, Sparks dashed at the Lavagon, attacking with a focused double slash attack centered on the dragon.

As Sparks had a few more chips provided to him, he sent one over to his canine companion with a pat on its head. Lucky ran over towards the Mettfire quickly to carry out its master's orders. It lived up to its name well when a fiery cannonball sailed over its head, ejected from the nearby HotHead. Being careful not to hit the bomb alongside it, the flaming breath from Lucky's maw incinerated the hapless Mettfire hiding behind one of the statues.
Its master wasn't one to be showed up as well, summoning a clone and a Bandcoon to divide and conquer between the remaining Lavagon and HotHead. The Navi himself went towards the HotHead, drawing out a huge hammer before smashing the virus to pieces. The Bandcoon jumped out towards the dragon, but only caught thin air as it ducked into its hole, and reappeared elsewhere. Unfortunately, while it managed to avoid being stolen from, it would not be able to escape Sparks's blade, being sliced apart by it soon after.

HandyHandy (Handy)
Handy Viruses attack by opening a dimensional gate below themselves, and dropping into it. The exit gate opens next to their destination, and they will rise out of it holding an explosive. Gates are only used when attacking, and at no other time. Handy viruses will not set a new explosive until either a turn has passed, or they pass one action without setting a new bomb, whichever comes first. "Good job boy." Sparks scooped his rewards and gave the dog's snout a rub. "Shall we continue."
Lucky licked Sparks' hand, and shook his head yes. The two continued to mover forward, even deeper into the depths of Hades.

Moving on, Sparks and Lucky continued to see elements of the odd lavagon imagery across the boiling landscape. They'd only gone a short way before they passed by something that looked a little bit like a shrine, almost. What probably drew the eye first was a familiar green glowing light, a little bit out of place in scorched Hades. Looking towards it showed them the rest of the scene, however. The mystery data was held in the mouth of another tall lavagon statue, set far away from them at the edge of a broad lava pool that spread around a circular platform of metal panelling, connected by a narrow isthmus to the ground they were walking on. To either side of the main statue, two more smaller ones angled towards it, their mouths tilted upwards; they looked to be of the same design that had blown fire earlier, but these one were pointed at the mouth holding the data crystal.
The platform itself was metal, for the most part, but at the curved edges, where it bordered the lava, it was roasting hot and had a faint heat shimmer above it. Aside from these features, there was a broad hole in the middle of the platform, which surprisingly did not appear to lead into lava, but simply to dark blackness. A number of viruses also milled in the space; a pair of Dragrin lounged, almost like they were napping, one against the base of each of the smaller statues, while two Drixol patrolled at a relaxed pace back and forth across the width of the circular area, crossing to the front and back of the hole in the middle each pass.
As Sparks and his ally came by, however, the viruses wee jolted out of their relaxed laziness by a familiar roar, as a very real Lavagon burst up from the hole in the centre in a fury. It was looking directly at Sparks, almost like it had sensed him, and the other viruses quickly sprang to alertness.

Face to face with a group of familiar enemies, Sparks and Lucky prepared themselves mentally for the battle to come. The navi's hand rested on the belt of the sword at his waist, while Lucky gave a loud howl signaling the start of a new fight. After the war cry, his mouth birthed a slivered blaze. He barked sending the metal blast flying towards the furnace terrain that lay in front of the centered Lavagon, aiming to add even more metal to the playing field.
"Good job Lucky, now jump on to my back." Sparks motioned with his opposite hand. "I have a plan. Joseph send me the Gaia, and RedWave." He split himself into two while the chow gave him a puzzled glance.
"Boss... I'm not the size of a puppy..."
"Just do it, we need to clear as much of these viruses as we can, and unless you can fly this will be the easiest way" Sparks pointed to his back once more. while the clone went to handle its usual business of hopefully confusing his enemies. Choosing to run directly as the hunted dragon.
Lucky gave in and hopped on his owner's back, using his front legs to grip a hold of Sparks' shoulders, hopefully keeping him out of the following attacks range. While this was going on, Joe had done as he was asked, uploading the two indiscriminate chips, followed by a third aqua based chip being SideBubble1. "For my sake, I hope this works." Lucky sighed, having little faith in the plan.
The weight of Lucky bearing down on his back wasn't to much for him to handle, but it was no where near a light load for Sparks to carry. For the first time this battle his right hand left the katana's handle to grip at the materializing hammer in front of him. In an instance his muscles tended and his eyes narrowed focusing on the enemies in front of him. The head of the hammer surged with an electric current, as the samurai slammed it into the ground below. A massive wave of energy sparked itself across the ground, shooting out in every direction around him. Having Lucky with him seemed to make it even easier to direct and control the waves flow as it gained speed towards the unlucky opponents.
Before the hammer vanished, Sparks used it as a tool to launch the second chip. Leaving the head on the ground a wave of lava fished out following the same path the more literal shockwave had taken. This wave of fire was unaltered In it's traditional form aside from it also being slightly more controllable as it made it's way to engulf the targets in it's path.
Having Lucky attached to him, would make Sparks an even greater target, so he tapped into his third and final chip, placing an floating bubble covered anchor, that slowly yet surely made its way in the direction of the Lavagon. As soon as the bubbles were summoned, Sparks began running and jumping in the area around him knowing that he was a walking bullseye. With a little skill and luck aside he may be able to make it through this turn of events unscathed.

Starting off the battle with a tactical change, Sparks had his puppy pal transform most of the natural terrain into a shiny metal surface, after which he initiated his first attack, which was to send a thundering message with the electrified Gaia, sending literal shockwaves across the battlefield. While the Drixol were already dashing forward, he caught them mid-flight, as his clone had successfully distracted them before they could reach him. The viruses left were one of the Dragrins as well as the dragon hovering above the dark hole. The Dragrin retaliated with a fiery explosion directly beneath Sparks (-20) before he continued his attack, following up the shockwave with a wave of lava, nearly roasting it to perfection. The Lavagon wasn't one to idly sit by either, and launched a wide-angled wave of fire. Unfortunately, it was caught by the SideBubble attack that Sparks followed up with, popping both of the anchor-loaded bubbles and knocking out the menacing dragon immediately with the heavy anchors.

The duo's team work happened to bring much success, almost completely wiping out the enemies forces on one set of attacks. Yet one wounded Dragin remained. Sparks approached the final virus cautiously, hoping to avoid an attack from the desperate virus. Lucky was still attached to his back, also prepared to duck and bob is head in the face of trouble.
"Well the Lavagon sealed its own fate, let's see if we can get something from the Dragin." Joseph sent Sparks the chip of their trusty theif. Wasn't long before the virus popped up, and speedily made its way to empty the Dragin's pockets. After the Bandcoon tried its best to grab anything it could, the rodent scurried off hopefully holding something of value, Sparks drew his blade. The electric current crackled as it shaped into a Katana form. With one steady motion, the samurai slashed at the remaining Virus hoping to end its life.
If he happened to miss his slash, Lucky was peaking over the navi's shoulder a mouth full of flame. He would launch a fireball attempting to further toast the fiery dragon. If the battle was to end, he would approach the statue, and would open the mysterious cube of data.

With only one target left in the small shrine-like area, Sparks and Lucky waited for the right moment to dodge expertly away from its attempt to scorch them, before sending out their ever-helpful thief and then finishing off the Dragrin once their sticky-fingered ally got clear.
As Sparks moved to retrieve the Mystery Data, two small clicks sounded, and brief puffs of uncontrolled flame jump up from the rubble of the destroyed statues, not threatening anyone — chances were they would have blasted fire at the crystal and destroyed it, if anyone had attempted to approach earlier. With the statues broken, though, he was safe to retrieve it and access the data, which turned out to be a very flexible battle chip. While they gathered the rest of their spoils, Sparks' bandcoon ally returned with a chip of its own for him, making this battle quite a profitable haul.
