~ADVENTURE~

Knowing fully well what was held in his opponent's arm, Shisho panicked. Anything that he throws after this would probably bounce back full force at his face, no matter what he did. There must be some way to get him to drop the shield, or at least disable it enough for Shisho to land a hit at him.

Or Shisho could remove it altogether.

Waving at the air next to him, Shisho channeled another one of his innate abilities to conjure another small object... That was visible to the eyes, save for the tiny swirls of wind currrent surrounding an invisible, sphere-like object. Ensuring it gathered enough air pressure, the floating Navi held the sphere in one hand, turning his wrist in an intricate movement. Then he pushed it at high speeds in a sudden propulsion towards DarkSpiritZero, the sphere making a whizzling sound as it travelled through the air.

Summary of actions:
1) Buster shot - (1 x 2) Damage - DarkSpiritZero.EXE
In a strange turn of events, DarkSpiritZero lifted the shield over his head, allowing Shisho's whizball to strike him square in the chest.

"URF!" he grunted. Even his cries of pain sounded overly exaggerated.

He then proceeded to toss his shield at Shisho while crying out, "LET'S SEE YOU TRY AND DODGE MY S RANK ACCURACY!"

The shield clanged behind him as it landed, much to DarkSpiritZero's dismay. He was quick to resort to his fallback complaint, "HAX! TOTAL HAX!"

"That was ridiculously unexpected!!" Shisho cried out loud, turning to find the guard now unattended on the ground. Then there was DarkSpiritZero crying foul from behind him, with his loud voice.

"Rini slot in lots and lots of chips! Lots of lots of chips!" Rini added to the chaos, shouting about how she is contributing to the fight "Yep! Thanks for the chips, Rini!" Shisho replied with his endless patience, politely, gently. Lifting the shield up triumphantly, Shisho threw a smile at his opponent before shifting the shield between himself and DarkSpiritZero.

I can't believe I've been so lucky up until now... Shisho sighed mentally, taking a deep breath to steady himself. "What can I do next..." Shisho muttered, mentally going through what chips he had in his arsenal (from Rini's chip-slotting spree). He eyed his opponent, feeling unsure.

This was the first match where Shisho had prolonged issues on fighting; it would seem that he had a long, long way to go.

However, feeling panicky will not resolve the situation. Shisho had to act. And with the guard now turning to his own favor, he felt that victory was almost... in sight. Almost. The Navigator, however, knew that his opponent was tough, probably because he was up against another Navigator, and not a mere virus.

The yellow shield that Shisho held floating before him shone once, before a magic circle duplicating the shield separated itself from it, turning into a summoning portal. Within an instant, Shisho knew what to conjure next; something that would hit fast, and hard. From the portal rolled a machinery of some sort, falling from the floating portal onto the ground with a clunk and staying there.

The clutter of machinery assembled itself into a nice little turret, it's barrel larger than the common size for guns. It turned automatically to aim at DarkSpiritZero, ready to fire... ... And oh wait, it just fired. From the barrel shot was a high-speed piece of lead that has enough power to break bones in it's real life equivalent.

It was definitely less flashy than the medieval cannon, but it would have to work, Shisho thought with slight dismay.

Summary of actions:
[/Turnsplice]
2) Pick up DarkSpiritZero's Guard for use
3) Cannon - 40DMG, Knockback - DarkSpiritZero.EXE
DarkSpiritZero changed his tone and shouted, "TOO BAD FOR YOU THAT YOU FELL RIGHT INTO MY TRAP! SINCE MY GUARD IS BEHIND YOU, I CAN SHOOT YOU WITH MY SHOTGUN AND GET DOUBLE DAMAGE WHEN IT REFLECTS THE SPREAD! GET READY TO BE PENETRATED FROM THE BOTH ENDS!"

He pointed his buster at Shisho while Shisho grabbed the shield for himself and raised it against his opponent. Instead of reflecting an attack, there was an empty clicking sound. It was the absence of battlechip data.

"...JORDAN QUICKSILVER! SHOTGUN! SLOT-IN NOW!" DarkSpiritZero commanded, still pointing his buster straight ahead and continuing to fire blanks, "...ANYTIME NOW! ...SHOTGUN!"

Shisho prepared his own Cannon while DarkSpiritZero worked with his technical difficulties.

DarkSpiritZero refused to give up and tried different phrases, "...HEATSHOT! SHOTGUN! SHOTGUN! HEATSHOT! SLOT-IN! ACTIVATE! ENGAGE! POWER ON! POWER UP! CHIP MODE! FINAL DESTRUCTION! ACTION TWO! CHARGE COMPLETE! COME ON! COME ON COME ON COME ON! WHAT? YOU WANT ME TO SAY WHAT? NO I'M NOT- ARE YOU SERIOUS? WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME DO THIS NOW? I CAN DO THIS IF- ARGHHHGHHGHGHAGHH!"

Shisho's Cannon materialized while his opponent seemed to acquiese to whatever demand was being made of him. DarkSpiritZero seemed to have his overly exuberant strength drained from him as he spoke through gritted teeth, "...Please slot-in a Shotgun, master Jordan."

Shisho unloaded the Cannon at the same time DarkSpiritZero's request finally went through. The heavy artillery struck the navi in the chest at the same time his Shotgun round struck the Guard. The resultant piercing beam cut through him and he gasped a muted look of shock and horror as he realized his plan had backfired in the worst way possible. He had just defeated himself.

He had but half a breath left in his mouth that he used to strained whimper, "...Haaax."

With that final quip, his body was stripped from the network in a beam of light leaving behind a meager amount of zenny.

"... Well that was rather anticlimatic," Shisho concluded, huffing. He went to pick up the zenny, which didn't look meager to him at all. Rini spun about and jumped once before settling down in her seat again. "TO THE NEXT PLACE!!!" Rini hollered, and Shisho jumped up, looking around in mock panic before floating towards another random direction.

[[Battle 6!]]
Walking through the Electown network, Shisho quickly found the shiny metallic ground again, with an even shinier roadway paving a way through it. However, his stroll through the road was interrupted before it even began, when a duo of Bunny hopped up from his front, and some Armadill rolled up to a Lark on his left. A two-pronged attack!

"Shinyyyyyyy..." Rini remarked at the Solar panels, eyes glowing with delight as she glued her face at the PET screen. "Ooh! There's stuff to blow up!" Rini said at the appearance of the virii group, then back at her chip pack. "And next up we have!! MOAR EXPLOSIONS!" Rini hollered, slotting in the Firebomb chip like it was free.

Well, in a way it was.

Shisho, however, wondered if it was even a sound idea. Well, no harm trying. "Don't forget to send over the Guard chip as well, Rini!" Shisho called out, conjuring a magic circle where a Firebomb abruptly dispatched itself from, flying towards the spacing between the Lark and an Armadill, hoping to catch both in it's explosion. "Aye-aye, sah!" Rini said, following the suggestion (it was NOT an instruction). "Hereeee youuuu go!"

Shisho then traced a huge circle before him, summoning the Guard into place and adjusted it's position. The transparent shield glinted in the shiny environment once before going invisible. Just to be safe, Shisho also blinked out of existence for a moment, knowing clearly that he was being outnumbered... And certain measures to avoid getting hurt would be good for him.

Summary of actions:-
1) FireBomb2 - 100DMG Fire + Burn(10) + Blast1 - Between Lark and Armadill A
2) Guard1 - 60DMG REFLECT Once - Self
3) Dodge
A toss of his FireBomb, and Shisho was burning down an armadillo down to cinders. The Lark retaliated with a WideShot, which bounced off his Guard to hit its own face. The others fired their weapons at Shisho, with one of the Bunny missing its shot. The other hit Shisho spot-on, though. (10, Stun) The Armadill rolled up to hit him, but missed, unrolling somewhere behind him.

With a jolt, Shisho froze after Bunny tried a shot at him. "Welp this is bad," Shisho muttered, attempting to shake the effects off of him as soon as possible. Rini, however, hollered. "Shisho's lookin' all funny! Like he's dancing! Very fast! Teeheehee!" his operator giggled, exploding into a little ball of uncontrollable laughter.

"Uh, Rini? Throw in a chip, please?" the Navi said, picking up his cables and floating off in one direction to avoid being a stationary punchbag. "Ooooh, oops! Teehee! Here you go!" Rini playfully pouted, slotting in a random chip she could find.

Which was thankfully useful.

As Shisho traversed (floated) to maintain distance from the virii group, he let go one of his cables and allowed the free hand to trace a line across the air, levelled below his waist. The line traced stayed in the air, emitting a dim, blue glow before it expanded forwards away from Shisho, ejecting a giant, rolling log towards the Bunnies.

3) RollingLog1 - 50DMG (x2 from Solar panel), WOOD / Wideattack(2) / Double Attack - Accuracy C - Bunny A / B
You feel as though something rare has happened.

Shisho, completely immobile, is a perfect target for the Lark! The fishy virus' attack goes a little wide, but it still manages to clip the floating shota navi. (15)

After the stun wears off, Shisho kind of wafts away from another zapring attack by one of the Bunny viruses, then retaliates, obliterating it! Its' compatriot is smarter, however, and gets out of dodge.

Meanwhile, the Armadill kind of mopes around and lines up an attack; it's [size0] not really sure this is[/size] such a good idea guys I mean he's kind of kicking our asses...

"Ow ow eep ouch!" The shota navi winced, quickly patting comically at where he was hit. "Nooooot to worry! Rini's here to save dah daaaaaaay!" his operator fortunately announced, once again dishing out a few chips from the ever dwindling bag of chips.

And saving the day she did-- just what he was looking for! "Aha! Shotgun!" Shisho remarked happily, quickly drawing a summoning circle, jabbing his free hand into the circle before pulling out a full length shotgun, which is gigantic compared to the shota and fired the single shot at the lined up Armadill.

He dropped the shotgun with a clunk, and reached his hand once again into the tiny portal-- withdrawing a cube. "Uhh," the Navi started, then realised that Rini probably couldn't answer his question. He just threw it half-heartedly at the ground before him, waiting for it to do something as he picked up his cables again, hoping to float out of any dangerous objects that may fly in his way.

1) Shotgun - 50DMG / Spread1 - Accuracy A - Armadill B + Any unfortunate Enemy
2) DBLBeam1 Deployed - <Red = 40 Null to all> OR <Blue = 30 Heal>
3) Dodge
The tiny cube flips, flops, and rolls around on the ground as Shisho darts out of the way of another zapring shot from the remaining Bunny. Incensed, it stomps and hops up and down, smacking its' feet against the panels.

Meanwhile, Shisho takes a shot at the Armadill-- right as it attacks! The shot pings off of its' body as it turns into a rolling metal wheel of destruction, just barely slipping in before it becomes completely curled. Shisho's dodging proves to not be enough, however, as the Armadill rams him from the side and bounces off, rolling away and right over the--

The cube sparks and sputters as the Armadill uncurls, turning to curiously look over the small, crushed box on the floor-- and begins to shake rapidly. The Armadill takes a step back, and then...

The cube erupts in a veritable explosion of red lasers and beams and explosions, all of them ricocheting across the battlefield and lighting the whole damn place up like a demented christmas tree. The onslaught continues far longer than normal, as well, until finally it ends.

There is a brief pause as Shisho and the remaining viruses stare at the cube. The Armadill, badly wounded, gives it a testing poke with its' nose, prompting the cube to let out a series of sparks, and the Armadill reflexively curls up again, terrified.

The Lark is stunned enough by the light show that it forgets entirely to attack, its' normal wide, loopy smile curled into a frown.

Rini, delighted at the lasor displays and tremendous activity going down at the network, she was elated enough to slot in the remaining two chips for Shisho. "And now everything's used up~!" Rini remarked happily, as if finishing the stash was a huge success on her part.

Shisho covered his ears, his shoulders shrugged up as the cube exploded into a round of disco lights, however still maintaining good reception on what Rini was saying. "Thank you Rini," Shisho shouted, tracing a tiny summoning portal before putting his hand into it.

Withdrawing a shotgun with fiery engravings on it, Shisho seemed to question the credibility of the weapon. ... It wasn't exactly artistically appealing to him. "But still, gotta finish this fast," Shisho commented to himself, rubbing at where he was hit with his free hand.

Raising the shotgun, he quickly fired it at the Armadill that hurt him sooo much. So it will have to go first. Next, he unloads the last data chip available to him-- the much hated RageClaw. Oh yeah, because he didn't exactly feel comfortable being so close to enemies.

The shotgun dropped and forgotten, Shisho allowed his right arm's oversized sleeves to grow a few digital claws. Now he has a huge sleeve and a huge claw. That's totally fine with him, right? Not.

He proceeded to attempt to get closer to the Lark to give it some good smacking. With claws. The cables flapping behind him, he tried his best to move quickly towards the Lark, attempting to slash the Lark with his cute sleeve-RageClaw.

2) Tactical Movement: Towards the Lark!
2) RageClaw [6/6] [40DMG Slashing, B Accuracy] - Lark
The HeatShot, unfortunately, plinked off the Armadill's tough armor, dealing it zero damage as it cowered inside of its shell. The Bunny, meanwhile, was toasted quite well, and the Lark nearly got sliced up to bits. The Lark retaliated with a powerful WideShot, but it whizzed over Shisho's head, due to its wounded state! The Armadill uncurled from its shell, and looked about; it was vulnerable.

"Fireee! Roaaar your hearts out, and then paw at them to pieces!!" Rini giggled, obviously entertained at Shisho's predicament. While it was a borderline sadistic reaction to the situation, who could actually place blame on a child for deriving enjoyment?

Lowering his head just in time to narrowly avoid the Lark's WideShot, countering it with a swipe of comedy-infested toy claws. He then tumbled comically mid-air across the battlefield, rolling towards the Armadill -- perhaps to copy the virus? -- and attempted to a quick swipe at the Armadill.

The battle over, Shisho lowered himself to the floor, hugging it and almost kissing it. "T-time out please?" Shisho said, giving the best beaming pleading smile he could muster. "Hmph! At least you asked nicely. Rini will give you a break! And also I need to pee," Rini blabbered, hopping off of her seat and running towards the lavatory.

Shisho breathed a sigh of relief, not having to do such strenuous activities before. His expertise lies beyond battling, so he wasn't exactly used to this... Well, at least he was still managing. Somehow.

Rini returned with a mountain of sweets.

"Rini, what did we promise about sweets?" the Navigator started, watching his subject through the small screen he had floating with him. "Only have sweets when we did something good! And we did! And we will continue! The rest of the sweets are for the future good things that we will do!" Rini said playfully, finishing the sentence with another giggle.

Shisho sighed with a smile. Well, there's no helping it, he supposed. Under the supreme guidance and order of Rini, he stopped his rest and returned to wandering the bright cyber world.

[[Battle counter reset-- Battle 1]]
With his operator having done her business and stocked up on confectionery, Shisho went onwards to wander the big, scary world. He found himself wandering into a strange, twisted area. Gnarled pieces of metal appeared to form some roadways that seemed impossible to traverse, looking like they went upside down and such. However, when he walked upon them, he found them fine for wal-- er, floating. It was a bit disorienting, however, and he floated along slowly. He found some Champu along the way on a narrow-looking spiral stairway of some sort, equally confused by the absurd-looking area. The Champu knew, however, that there was a Navi in front of them, and darned if they let him get away without a fight!

Shisho, confused by the layout, took a quick moment to assess his relative position to the viruses that appeared. Regardless of the all-confusing, paradoxical layout outside, Shisho appeared to be standing at the bottom of a narrow, spiral stairways-- with the champus on top, spotting the floating Navi. "Uh, oops?" Shisho greeted them with a meek smile, probing for Rini to send more chips. "Rini?"

"It's so confuuuuuzzling, my head is spiiinstering." Rini laughed in a confused tone, before nibbling on a lollipop. "Lolli lolli lollipop... Lolli lolli rollilog?" Rini remarked, giggling some more. She attempted to put the lollipop into the chip slot, but realising that it didn't fit, she knocked her own head before putting in the actual chip.

"Thank you!" Shisho said, drawing a quick line before him about the width of the staircase. The 1-line portal seemed to defy logic, much like Shisho's surroundings, and summoned forth a giant wooden log that seemed to roll on it's accord upwards to the Champu group.

"And as bonus! More lasors and defense!!" the young Operator said, slotting in two more chips for Shisho's perusal. If anything, Rini's choices were improving and she was definitely getting better at this Operating business.

Just as the log started it's journey upwards, Shisho lowered his two cables to the ground in an attempt to withdraw information from the terrain on it's properties. "Designed to confuse? Works for me," the Navigator muttered, loading up the Guard chip. A spherical shield flashed once before him before turning invisible; offering a brief repose for the caster.

On the other hand, a cube seemed to materialise itself from the confusing floor before Shisho, seeming to blink a few times prior to some unexpected effect...

The log rolled... up the stairs, and hit two of the clustered Champu in the face. They weren't too happy about that, and teleported down to lay down some smack. One of the Champus was too disoriented by the area, however, and punched the railing of the stairs by accident. Ow. WHY ARE YOU HITTING YOURSELF, SECOND CHAMPU? Oh, wait, Guard reflect. The third Champu got its shit together, though, and smacked a couple right on the kisser. (10x2) The first backtracked a little, and also made amends for its earlier blunder with a roundhouse. (10) Fortunately, the cube of fortune was there to save the day, turning blue, and making all of Shisho's bruises disappear as if they were never there. (+30)
