Druidman: Steamblower

A gust of wind blows across the net, bringing in leaves that swirl to form... Druidman.

Driudman stood up. Steve was strangely silent. Shrugging, he plopped down to one knee, searching for a virus trail. With a sudden flash, he found one, as was bounding off after it. Maybe some more busting would cheer Steve up.

((Battle 1))
He finds some plants...

CactyA: 70
CactyB: 70
CactyC: 70

Druidman: 250
"Hmm, three Wood viruses, shouldn't be too hard." Steve said as he looked onward. Maybe keeping his head elsewhere really will help him. "Okay, Druidman. I'm gonna send you some Fire chips, alright?" he said as he slotted in two red chips into his PET.

Druidman nodded, and drew his scimitar. With a single power word, the blade was burning brightly as a fallen star. Druidman closed his eyes and started a familiar chant. As the last words of the chant died out, he opened his now blazing red eyes, and called forth the spirit of fire with, "ENTANGLING HEAT FORCE!!!" Vines burst from the ground around one of the Cactys, and Druidman was quick to run inwards with a burning strike.

Running straight all the way through, Druidman got a bit of distance on between him and the viruses. Swinging his scimitar around in a wide arc, the flames moved downwards, closer and closer to the tip, which he lazily aimed at the virus group, just as the orb of flames shot forwards.

With the fires of his scimitar now all but gone, Druidman used his last chip to rekindle it. Now burning brighter than ever before, Druidman charged like a bull back into the fray, swinging wildly at anything that got in his path.

2.)Heatshot Battlechip to CactyB. (40x2Fire, splashx2 to CactyC.)

-GET READY TO RUMBLE-
-BATTLE 2-
-FIGHT!-
"Steve, I found some more viruses, dude!" Druidman called out almost sing-songily, while getting into an aggressive posture.

Steve looked at the data. There were three fire type viruses, that could be problematic. But there were also two Elec viruses, Druidman shouldn't have much trouble with those. picking up two of his most powerful chips available, Steve slotted them in, and told Druidman, "Okay, those Volgear look nasty. Focus on them, but I'm giving you something else to take care of the other viruses, okay?"

As Steve slotted in the Firesword chip, Druidman reached for the handle of his scimitar, which was now starting to grow hot. Sure enough, when he pulled it free of it's sheath, the air around it ignited into a miniature inferno. Now well armed, he burst into the fray, running down the Volgear viruses with his tempered steel.

His assault now done, Druidman now took a few steps back. As he did so, the flames of his blade died down to almost nothing, revealing a now gleaming green surface. Knowing what the second chip Steve had sent him now was, he reached up for the (still smoking) tip of the blade, and pulled. The softened metal twisted into the proper shape easily. Now holding the Boomerang, Druidman let it fly.

1.)Firesword Battlechip to VolgearA. (80Fire)
2.)Firesword attack to VolgearB. (80Fire)
3.)Untapped Potential: Boomerang1 Battlechip to BillyA/BillyB/Oldstove. (68x2Wood/68x2Wood/68Wood)
OTKO... Stupid Durid...

Reward:450 Zenny, Thunder
Druidman smirked as he put the chip data in his belt pouch along with the zenny data, then moved onwards.

((Battle 3))
Duridman was walking along, when he saw a mass of fire and elec type viruses... the whole ground was metal, with sparks coming out of several places.

((Medic, I just want you to know that you are FORCING me to try a hat trick of OTKOs.))

Druidman looked across the now steel field of battle. "Well, now we've got a bit of a challenge on our hands, dude." he said.

Steve checked the data flashing across he PET. "I'm reading that that terrain will increase the power of electric AND fire attacks, Druidman." he said uneasily, "But that applies to you, too, so you should still be able to win without much trouble." he said, grabbing the two chips he had just inserted a few moments ago. "Let's go with a same general strategy from the last fight, but Toss out some lightning for them to snack on, too."

"Oh, I feel ya, man." Druidman responded as he began to chant an incantation. This particular one was fairly well known to him, he had used it many times before. As his chant continued on, dark storm clouds billowed from nothingness around the heads of the Navi and viruses alike. Thunder resounded outwards as crackling bolts of electricity raced across the surface, and Druidman roared out over the thunder, "DRIVING STORM FORCE!!" completing the spell and sending a searing arc of lightning down from the heavens. "FORK!" he added, and pointed towards the two Volgears. Reaching down towards the ground, he hefted two large, sharpened pikes of cedar up over his shoulders, which he then hurls after the viruses as well.

Dusting his hands a bit, Druidman now reached for his scimitar. Pulling it free of it's restraints, he downloaded the FireSword data into the blade, infusing it with the might of fire, which wreathed the blade in bright orange flames. Talking an alternate route, Druidman bolted towards the other side of the ranks, towards the remaining fire virus. "Let's see how fire like fire, dude!" he said as he planted his foot and took a mighty, heaving cleave of his scimitar, scattering what looked like a veritable wave of heat and flames outwards towards not only the Oldstove, but the Magneaker as well.

Knowing the second half of his operators strategy, Druidman retreated a few steps back to get some distance in order to throw his rapidly cooling scimitar for the final strike. Charging the blade once again with his elemental magics, and putting the proper curve into the blade, Druidman, with a soft grunt, hurled the twirling green blade across the field of battle, sending a whizzing, whirring noise throughout the air.

1.)Driving Storm Force to VolgearA/B. (30x2Elec,25Wood/30x2Elec,25Wood)
2.)Firesword to Oldstove. (80x2Fire, trying to hit Magneaker for 80x2Fire as well.)
3.)Untapped Potential: Boomerang1 Battlechip to BillyA/B/C. (68x2Wood/68x2Wood/68x2Wood)
(Meh. I dissapprove of hats. And OTKO's.)

Blowing apart the Volgears with reckless abandon from his sig attack, Druidman manages to hit the Oldstove with his Firesword, but a jolt up his leg from a spark panel throws the second hit of the blade off. (20) Two billies succumb to the flying boomerang next, but a god must have been smiling on the third one when it stepped forward to attack, barely dodging the unnoticed weapon.

Terrian: A large metal field is the site for this battle, with spark panels roughly every 15 feet from each other, creating a square grid of sparks every minute and a half, or so. One spark panel is sealed shut from the welding force of its own electricity, however, after having struck the unfortunate protagonist. The overflow of electricity within the now sealed panel is creating a magnetic field.

((DAMN YOU, PA!!! J/K))

"Whoa! This floor is funky!" Druidman said as he grabbed at his leg.

"Whoa!" Steve echoed. "We'll have to avoid moving, or else you'll end up on some of that weird stuff again, Druidman." he said picking out two chips. "Let's just mix and match some elements here, from a distance." he said, slotting in a red and a yellow chip.

Druidman caught his spiraling scimitar, which had magically reverted to its proper shape. He charged the blade with electric magic, and as the sparks pulsed on the tip of the blade, Druidman smiled, and simply touched the tip of the sword on the metal ground in front of him, sending a large ball of thunder towards the Oldstove virus.

Drawing his weapon up to point in front of him, the edge was once again ignited, burning red-hot, with a swirling ball of flames at the end of the blade. With a forward thrust, the small heated projectile surged forwards, aimed at the remaining virus.

1.)Thunder1 Battlechip to Oldstove. (40x2Elec)
2.)Untapped Potential: Heatshot Battlechip to Magneaker. (50x2Fire)
3.)Reserved for Dodging.
Druidman sends out his Thunder at the already dead Oldstove, so it goes towards the Billy instead. He then burns the Magneaker to death. The Billy zaps the incoming Thunder to be rid of it.

((Head/desk. I can't believe I made such a dumbass mistake. You kids have got me all flustered!))

Druidman smashes his palm into his head. Had he been tripping? That Oldstove was definitely dead, and the Billy definitely wasn't. Massaging his temples, he looked to Steve for advice. But, seeing as how he heard nothing but silence, he assumed that Steve was too flabbergasted to even speak on the situation. To be fair, Druidman agreed with him. He sure was glad no one else was around to see him perform such an amateur mistake.

His mind now clouded and hot with embarrassment, Druidman began to hum to calm himself down. To his surprise, it worked almost magically. Then, reminding himself that Steve had recently unlocked his healing magics, he realized that it WAS magic. With a serene grace, Druidman took a step forward, and, with small flowers and tendrils growing about his feet, he yells to the Billy, "SANCTIFIED RECOVERY FORCE!!!" Simultaneously, roots grew out and around both himself and the virus. As they reached upwards, Druidman grabbed the ends of them, which promptly fused with his hand. Now ready for the transfer, he raised his other hand, commanding the roots to sap the lone virus of it's precious life energy.

"Wow, a small platoon of viruses!" Steve said excitedly. "Let's try and wipe it out, Druidman. There are still a bunch of Elec type viruses, so I'll send in the Boomerang. Other than that, I think I'll toss in a Thunder for those Larks." he informed his Navi.

"Right on, dude!" Druidman said, getting into battle position, and pulling out his scimitar. For what seemed like the hundredth time that day, Druidman bent it into a shining green boomerang. Shutting one eye and sticking his tongue out a bit, Druidman lifted up a leg and hurled the Boomerang forwards.

"Hmm, Thunder... Not a bad idea, man." Druidman thought to himself as he began his familiar chant to summon a thunderstorm. "DRIVING STORM FORCE!!!" he dictated, and then added, "FORK!" Like clockwork, The long arc of lightning licked the darkened sky, and Druidman heaved forwards with sharpened wood pikes.

His scimitar now back in his hand, Druidman channeled the familiar Elec Magic into the blade, causing a small blob of electrical energy to be stuck on the end. Swinging the blade around menacingly, the globule of thunder flew off, rather haphazardly towards it's intended target.
