Various mini-announcements.

Ice Type and Wind Type have been added to the Signature Effects List.

Quote (Type Effects)

Ice Type: 20 [This effect can only be applied to signatures that include the Aqua Element, and only to portions of the signature associated with that element. This is the alternate setting for all Aqua Element attacks. This means the attack is ice based, and will cause freeze effects on Ice and Snow terrains, and will change Sea to Ice, and freeze things underwater. Does not affect Onsen. When applied to Defenses and Objects, the vulnerability shifts to Fire from Elec.]

Wind Type: 20 [This allows an attack to trigger terrain and object effects that are activated by Wind.]
The chip effects for Beam and Superpiercing, and how they interact with traps, has been clarified. Oh, and we added a type to LockON while we were at it.

Quote (Edited Chip Effects)

Negate [Effect]: A sub-effect exclusive to Traps that detects a specific effect. and then cancels the action or set of effects equivalent to an action that were associated with the effect. IE: If a Trap says Negate(Fire), and an enemy uses a Fire attack or a passive Fire based effect, that entire attack or passive effect is completely canceled. Superpiercing and Beam attacks cannot be Negated, nor can attacks with Nullify.

LockOn: Same effect as an automatic Take Aim if lock is acheived, except target lock is also necessary to fire the attack. Counts as Cursor Type for the purposes of Traps and Counters.

Superpiercing: Only Aura, Barrier, Counter, and Invincibility can stop this attack. Dodge if possible. Counts as Break Type for the purposes of Traps and Counters. Damage bypasses Traps, but may still trigger them.

Beam Attack: A line piercing attack effect that breaks through all defense types except Invincibility. Dodge if possible. Counts as Cursor Type for the purposes of Traps. Damage bypasses Traps, but may still trigger them. Found exclusively on beam type attacks such as N.O.Beam and GunDelSol.

Bubbler - 1400z (-300z)
WideShot1 - 3000z (+400z)
Glass Terrain has been edited to include a damage threshold before breaking. This makes earlier networks more friendly to players, and later networks less so. Additionally, the damage cap of 200 has been properly explained.

Check it out here.
Windbox and Vaccumfan viruses have been redone. Gone are the days of always failing melee attacks, but on the other hand, they're no less dangerous than before. The nerf bat was not involved. :'D
Various edits have been made to battlechips using the To-All effect, some as simple clarifications and others as tweaks and balances. If you have any chips with the To-All-Clause, check the Battle Chip Lists to see what if any changes have been made.

Additionally the Illusion sig effect no longer exists, having instead been broken up into 3 more specific iterations called Disgusing Illusion, Hallucinating Illusion, and Small Area Illusion. Decoy has been rewritten for clarification purposes as well, and it and all forms of Illusion can now be dispelled with the Seeking effect. Check the Sig Effect List for descriptions of the changed effects. Note that these changes were designed specifically to clarify what these effects can already do and not change their function, but since the prior general Illusion effect no longer exists any players that have Illusion sigs will need to alter their sig pool via registration (no signature edit item required).
A minor change, but the Timpani chip now no longer has the vague/non-existent 'Paralysis' effect, but has the defined/actually-is-a-thing Hold effect. Useful stuff.
You can now delete old upgrades to your SPs via registration in the SP's appropriate topic in Profile Edits. Do note that for all the levels lost by the SP from deleted upgrades, you are required to buy back up to at least the SP's previous level before the registration is approved.
The Rebound effect, used for the AirHockey and ColorBall series of chips, is now new and improved, and not nearly as terrible. Feel free to check the Ground and Other chip lists, respectively, to learn more about how this affects them.
The CactusBall series has been tweaked a bit, and its damage slightly boosted, to make it less awful. And many of you have a Navi with one, so check it out. The prices for them at the chip shop remain unchanged, as determined by THE SYSTEM(TM).
Yep, ANOTHER tweak. Long story short, the Weather, Whomper, Winger, Wonder, and Popper Bagworm viruses no longer have a way to make themselves completely and totally invincible to attacks, so they should be a little less potentially annoying to fight now.
They said we might go through 2016 without a single announcement, but NOPE. Here's one right now: we now have the Interrupt and FastEscape chips! Check them out in the Support and Trap/Counter chip lists, respectively.

On a side note, this now means we have every single non-Navi chip from the original Mega Man Battle Network. Rejoice!
We now have a 'brand new' virus, the NeoMetool. This is most notable due to them dropping a brand new series of chips! ShieldGuard, HiGuard, and Reflector are now on the site (Trap/Counter if you want to check 'em out). Also, we now have a BadSpice chip series, finally giving Wood Navis an option for their busters (Buster chips, duh). What drops them? Well, the hint's in the name...

Anyway, with the -Guards, we now have every non-Navi chip from Mega Man Network Transmission! Woo!

We've got a nice announcement for you today. Located in the Netopia Network's Cyber café is a new BugFrag trader! If you don't want or don't have a use for them, toss them into a trader and get yourself a new battlechip just like that.

To make things even better, from now on all navis once they reach level 5, will begin to collect Bug Fragments regardless of if they have a Support Program or not! Meaning not only can you collect the fragments without a SP, but you also have something to spend them on too!
Yep, we have more chips! We now have:

- SkyShoes/AerialShoes (a sort of DropDown-)
- UnderGuard1/2/3 (Damage Reduction in chip form)
- Meteors (a Fire elemental RainyDay)
- FrontSensor/DoubleSensor (Omega tier chips for the Dynamite series)
- StealthMine (Omega tier chip for the Mine series)

We also now have the Gabyoall virus series, from Network Transmission, so you might want to get some shin guards. Unless your Navi has no legs, in which case don't.

And with those additions, we now have every non-Navi chip from Mega Man Battle Network 2! Huzzah!
Hey look, more chip additions! These are from Battle Network 3.

- RandomMeteor/HoleMeteor/ShotMeteor (wands that fire exploding meteors)
- NaviRecycle (reduces one sig move's cooldown to 0 instantly)
- FolderBack (lets you use selected chips an extra time)
- OmegaRocket (a very, VERY big boom)

For the meteors, we have the virus that drops it, Metrid! Meteors for all!

You might note that this doesn't complete out set of BN 3 chips. Nope...but rest assured, they haven't been forgotten.
Have you ever wanted to summon your own virus into battle? No, I'm not talking about those one-off virus chips, or making a SP that resembles a virus. I mean just snap your fingers, and bam! An honest to goodness virus, ready to go! Well, want no more! We now have chips for that! While maybe slightly more complicated than snapping your fingers, just pop a chip in, and watch as an authentic virus shows up, ready to help out! Here's the list of viruses you can bring to your aid:

- Metool/Metool2/Metool3
- Spikey/Spikey2/Spikey3
- Shrimpy/Shrimpy2/Shrimpy3
- Bunny/TuffBunny/MegaBunny
- Momogra/Momogro/Momogre
- Mushy/Mashy/Moshy
- Swordy/Swordy2/Swordy3

To clarify, the Swordy series summons Swordy-N.

For bonus points, that's more of BN 3's chips on the site. But it's not the complete list, unfortunately...but we'll get to that later. For now, enjoy virus buddies.
I decided that Network Transmission wasn't obscure enough for us, so I went and added chips from Rockman.EXE: Phantom of Network:

- PoisonBall1/2/3 (CannonBall that does less damage, but makes Poison terrain AND poisons the target)
- Navi+10/30 (the Navi+ set is now a full series)
- SuperCannon (Omega tier Cannon)

To accomodate this, we have two new viruses: the poisonous HardHead, DeadHead, and from Network Transmission, CrazyRazy. Also, a couple of viruses, Basher and Needler, have been altered.

And that'll do it until BN 4. Woo.

We have some exciting news for everyone! The starting signature points of a new character (and any current character) has been increased from 60 to 80. So basically everyone gets another 20 signature points. Hooray!

You also get one free signature edit registration for use whenever you wish to claim those 20 extra points.

That is all.

EDIT - This is like getting a free Process Edit from the Navi Shop. It means you can respec ALL your signature points. So go nuts.
