Full Moon Over ACDC Net

((Bump))
Preparing himself with a strengthened blade, WolfMan waited as the Spikeys approached and struck, landing a solid blow on one Spikey's flank as it passed. He immediately continued into a punch, knocking the large virus straight into its companion. As Selene watched from a safe distance, WolfMan pointed the hilt of his blade at the momentarily incapacitated Spikeys and sent a pulsating sphere of energy flying toward them. Unable to recover in time, the viruses could not escape the expansion of the sphere and were promptly deleted.

Wolfman pulled a cloth rag from his pocket and wiped down his sword, cleaning the blade before he sheathed it back within the cane. The Navi then gathered up whatever useable data he could find and parceling them off for Victor to store. He would need to gather as much data as possible if Victor was going to use it to craft defenses for Selene.

"Let us continue," Wolfman said.

((Battle 2!))
A short walk later, and the smartly-dressed WolfMan, along with Selene, found a small squad of Swordy-N forming a straight line. Wielding their purple energy swords, they brandished their weapons at him, threatening him with deletion. Worse, they seemed to have backup as well; two Fishy could be seen zooming in from their rear from either side!

"Well," Wolfman muttered with a grin. "It isn't often that you see such organization within the ranks."

"These are obviously trained soldiers, Garou." Victor warned. "They won't scatter easily."

"Then let us use that as an advantage," the Navi said. "Send the Invis and the WaterLine."

"That sounds workable. How about the TankCannon as a supplement? You can use it to slow down one of those birds."

"Initiating," Wolfman said as the battlechip data flooded his systems. "Selene, continue to dodge."

"S-sure," the moon said with a slight bob.

Selene went on her way, floating back away from the line of viruses. Meanwhile, Wolfman activated the Invis battlechip, his form darkening into a shadow before fading out completely. The Navi relied on his lupine prowess, stalking stealthily toward the group of viruses. He tried to move silently, attempting not to give away his position as he wanted the Swordys to maintain their formation. He moved into position, facing the line of viruses directly, before making his move.

Wolfman raised his cane in the air, channeling battlechip energy into the wooden weapon. The Navi slammed the metal shod butt of the cane against the earth, cracking the ground and causing a geyser of water to shoot into the sky. The wave pulsed along in a straight line, hopefully cutting deep into the ranks of the sword-wielding viruses.

Wolfman dodged to his left, channeling the remaining battlechip data as he moved. An orb of darkness materialized within Wolfman's palm and the Navi took aim at the closest birdlike virus. He opened his palm, sending the orb shooting from his grasp toward the Fishy. With luck, the virus wouldn't be able to dodge away from the fast moving projectile and would be engulfed by the devouring shadows.

Summary:
1. Invis1 to self
2. Move into position
3. Waterline1 (80 Aqua DMG + Line + Ground) to Swordy-N group
4. Tank Cannon (80 DMG) to FishyA

Selene:
1. Dodge
Using a chip to turn invisible, WolfMan began to move into a better position while Selene moved away, simultaneously distracting the viruses and escaping their attack range. While the viruses were watching the SP, WolfMan slammed his cane into the ground, engulfing two Swordy viruses in the geysers while the other moved out of the way clumsily before he could be hit. Thinking it was Selene that had done this, the Swordy set off after her. She was already a good distance away, however. The invisible Navi launched a powerful ball of darkness at a Fishy, which caught it off guard considering the blast came almost out of nowhere.

Lacking any other visible targets, the pair of Fishys began to angle toward Selene as well.

"Oh no," Selene whispered to herself as she saw the viruses converging on her. "Not good. Not good. A little help?"

Wolfman turned around to see the surviving swordsman virus and the two birds stalking toward the floating moon. Selene, to her credit, had begun circling wide to her left, moving away from the three viruses while also slowly drawing them back toward Wolfman. At least he wouldn't have to chase the group of viruses all across the battlefield.

"Send me the RageClaw," Wolfman barked the order. "I need these viruses to group up one way or another."

"That sounds good. I'll send you the Shotgun to supplement along with the Dash Attack incase you want to finish off the Fishy here and now."

"Understood," Wolfman replied.

The Navi charged forward, running headlong toward the viruses. He shed his invisibility as he ran, his body rematerializing as a bestial shadow before his human form emerged. Wisps of shadow remained, ethereal darkness wrapping itself around his arms and legs. The shadow wrapped his body, revealing the lupine features beneath his GMO. Wolfman used his bestial strength to fuel his speed, charging after the three viruses.

Ethereal claws sprouted from his fingertips as he ran. Wolfman zeroed in on the remaining Swordy, planning to collide into the back of the virus and overpower it. He planned to latch onto the virus's armor as he ran and used his battlechip enhanced strength to lift the virus into the air. He wanted to hurl the Swordy toward the injured Fishy and cause the two viruses to tumble into each other. If he could accomplish that, he would be able to eliminate them both with his shotgun blast.

Wolfman, raised his right arm toward the Swordy, channeling the shadows into a weapon. The darkness leaped from his left arm to his right before coalescing into an orb of energy. Without the shadows, Wolfman's arms lost their lupine features. He took aim at the Swordy and fired off the orb, sending the shadow energy toward the virus. With luck, the orb would strike the Swordy and then explode, sending a wave of energy toward the injured Fishy as well.

Wolfman continued on, focusing on what he hoped to be the remaining virus. He activated the battlechip data, rushing forward in a sudden burst of speed. His cane materialized within his grasp and he drew its hidden blade. He swiped at the birdlike virus, using his speed in an attempt to overwhelm the Fishy before it could escape.

Summary:
1. Lupine Grace (2x Dodge)
2. RageClaw Throw (20 Impact DMG) Swordy-N C into Fishy A
3. Shotgun (50 DMG) to Swordy-N C
4. Dash Attack (90 Impact DMG) to Fishy B

Selene: Dodge!
((Bump))
WolfMan, seeing the plight of his support unit, rushed full out of his invisibility and charged the remaining Swordy, who was surprised enough and successful grappled by the lupine navi.

WolfMan proceeded to throw the Swordy brutally into one of the Fishys, prompting its deletion while WolfMan blasted a Shotgun at the Swordy, ending its existence quite quickly.

The remaining Fishy swerved to the side, avoiding WolfMan's Dash Attack. How unfortunate.

"Persistent little bastard," Wolfman muttered as the Fishy avoided his charge.

"Slippery as well," Victor chimed in.

"Perhaps something a bit more precise then?"

"Sending the FireHit," Victor slotted in the chip even as he spoke. "And I suppose the Shotgun for good measure."

"What about me?" Selene asked.

"Just keep dodging," ordered Wolfman.

The diminutive Support Program did as she was told, swooping through the air in a zigzagging pattern. The Fishy was airborne as well and much faster than the globular moon. However, the virus tended to charge in a direct fashion. If she continued to strafe at irregular intervals, she should be able to avoid the Fishy's mad dash.

Wolfman held out his left arm, fingers spread wide. Wisps of shadow reached out from within his grasp, reforming his cane. The Navi drew his sword, the thin blade aglow with an inner light. He channeled the battlechip energy into the sword, causing it to burst into flames. Wolfman reversed his grip on the wooden sheath in his other hand, wielding it like a club as it ignited as well.

Wolfman stalked toward the Fishy, golden eyes glowing in the firelight. He watched the virus, examining its movements in order to time his strike. He moved into melee range with a quick triple step. At the last moment, Wolfman cut to his left, circling to flank the birdlike virus. He struck out with his right, flaming sword sweeping down in a devastating chop. He twirled, bringing the fiery cane around in a backhanded smash. With luck, the combination would be enough to put down the flying virus.

Wolfman tossed his weapons aside, channeling energy into the palms of his hands. He faced the Fishy, slamming his hands together and firing a blast of energy in a wide arc. Hopefully, the wide blast radius would catch the virus even if it managed to avoid death by fire.

Summary:
1. Dodge
2. FireHit1 (60 Fire DMG + Impact) to Fishy
3. FireHit1 (60 Fire DMG + Impact) to Fishy
4. Shotgun (50 DMG) to Fishy

Wolfman went after the virus with a flurry of attacks while his SP dodged; the movement of both programs caused the Fishy to hesitate as it tried to identify a target, a fatal mistake. The virus was sliced by the Navi's sword, and though the cane strike whizzed overhead without effect, the energy wave caused the virus's downfall, shattering its body.

"Persistence pays off I suppose," Wolfman muttered.

"Is that it?" Selene asked tentatively.

"For now. Though I believe we can continue on with no real issues."

"O-okay."

The Navi gathered up the remaining data and parceled it off to his NetOp. He sheathed his sword and thumped the cane to the floor. He leaned briefly on the silver wolf head, resting for a moment before signalling to Selene and continuing onward.

((Battle 3, please))
Moving onwards into the ACDC network, WolfMan and Selene came across a rather humorous-looking sight. A trio of Beetanks was rolling along a roadway, with silly-looking skull-faced Spookies riding them. They cheered when they saw their opposition come so easily to them, and pointed the Beetanks' cannons in the direction of the traveling pair!

"And now we've come upon a squadron of viruses," Wolfman told Selene. "Ghosts and tanks."

"G-ghosts?!" Selene gasped.

"Don't tell me you're afraid," Victor cut in. "You are designed as a full moon. It is entirely normal for you to attract the supernatural."

"He has a point," Wolfman pointed out.

"See? The werewolf agrees."

"I-I don't have to like it," Selene said under her breath.

"Don't worry," Wolfman assured her. "Once we get you enough bugfrags to design an actual arsenal, these guys will be nothing to be afraid of."

"Speaking of bugfrags," Victor said. "I'm sending you some battlechips to help break up their formation."

Wolfman's eyes flashed golden as Victor slotted in a handful of battlechips. His NetOp hadn't been joking. The chips he had sent were perfect for breaking up a group of viruses. The Navi wasted no time in channeling the first two chips into his arms. An orb of jet black energy materialized in his free hand while a similar black orb, this one streaked with silver bolts, appeared floating a few inches from the head of his cane.

"Selene," Wolfman warned. "This is going to get messy. Don't go near them."

"Y-yes, of course." The moon bobbed an affirmation. "I didn't want to get near those g-ghosts anyway."

The floating moon sailed away from Wolfman and the line of viruses, moving to a safe distance. Meanwhile, the Navi began his assault. He aimed his cane toward the line of tanks, pointing the silver wolf's head and its globular payload toward the head of the line. A howl echoed over the battlefield, its source seemingly from the cane, and the silver streaked orb shot forward. The projectile made a lazy arc, sailing between Wolfman and the viruses to land at the feet of the leading tank. Within a moment, the orb expanded outward. A hemisphere of pitch black shadows devoured anything caught within its reach and the Navi could only hope that included a few of the viruses. A second howl pierced the silence and a bolt of silver energy crashed into the center of the dome, causing it to collapse in on itself and destroy the ground beneath it.

With the front of the line hopefully taken care of, Wolfman turned his attention to cutting off the viruses' retreat. The black sphere of energy in his free hand pulsed with anticipation as he took aim at the rear tank. He lobbed the orb through the air, watching its graceful arc as it came back down to rest near the virus. This orb exploded outward in much the same way as the first, enveloping a wide radius in all consuming darkness.

The Navi was on the move. He strafed to his left, hoping to avoid any return fire from the center tank. He wasn't sure what he had caught in the blast radius of his attacks and he didn't want to take any chances. His path curved as he ran, boots pounding against the earth and he circled around in an attempt to flank the remaining viruses.

A third orb of energy, this one smaller than the first two, appeared in his free hand. Wolfman took aim at where he thought one of the ghosts were and hurled the ball of shadows forward. It expanded before touching the ground, creating a perfect sphere of destructive energy about three times its original size.

Wolfman waited. Once all of the orbs had collapsed in on themselves, he would have a better idea of what remained on the battlefield.

Summary:
1. Cracker Bomb (80 DMG + Panel Crack + Blast 2) to Beetank A
2. Tank Cannon1 (80 DMG + Blast 2) to Beetank C
3. Dodge
4. Lil Bomb (50 DMG + Blast 2) to Spooky B

Selene: Dodge
As Selene got some distance between herself and the viruses, WolfMan armed himself with some high explosives and aimed for one of the tanks. He launched an orb from his cane just as the targeted virus launched a bomb, resulting in a partial stalemate as both combatants were hit by explosions. The Beetank was slightly worse-off, being somewhat deleted. Its occupant Spooky was also engulfed by the expanding darkness. Another orb landed near the third tank, but its rider was quick enough to get away before the tank was deleted. WolfMan nimbly avoided a bomb launched by the last tank before tossing a final orb at the ghosts. They were too quick, however, disappearing before the expansion.

"A-are you alright?" Selene asked, a slight tinge of panic causing her voice to rise.

"I'm fine," Wolfman responded. "Just concentrate on avoiding their fire." The Navi wiped a bit of dust off of his suit and frowned at the singe marks left by the explosion. "Tsk...You bastards will pay for that."

"Okay!" Selene shouted while putting action to words. The floating beach ball sized hunk of stone floated behind Wolfman. She couldn't be said to have eyes, but she observed the group of viruses all the same, sensing their movements as she attempted to avoid their attacks.

Wolfman could already feel the damage he had sustained at the hands of the deleted Beetank repairing itself. His flesh knitted back together, smooth and pink without even the trace of a scar. The abilities of viruses such as these were not enough to overcome his enhanced body. At least, not alone.

The Navi raised his cane into the air, channeling battlechip energy into the dark wood. The silver wolf's head pommel flashed brightly, a radiant azure light washing over Wolfman. He slammed the cane against the earth, sending the energy shooting into the ground. A low rumble reached his ears, growing louder as the ground beneath him began to shift. A panel a few yards ahead of him exploded outward as a geyser steaming water reached toward the sky. A second geyser answered the first, columns of roaring water bearing down on the lone Beetank.

Wolfman dropped into a low crouch, tensing his muscles for a sudden burst in power. He leaped forward, charging toward the remaining viruses. He trusted in his enhanced agility and bestial instinct to guide him safely into range. His feet dug into the panels beneath his feet as he hurled himself through the air. He cleared ten feet before landing within reach of his prey.

His sword hand grasped his cane, fingers curling around the wood just below the silver pommel. He twisted the cane slightly, unlocking a clasp that prevented the hidden blade from being drawn. He slid the silvery sword from its black sheath, drawing it forth in a wide arc. The blade ignited as it was drawn, flames washing over the metal from hilt to tapered point. Wolfman reversed his stroke and sliced down at the nearest ghostlike virus. He pivoted, twisting his body around to bring his weapon to bare against the second virus. His next strike was a backhand cut meant to open the belly of the second Spooky.

Wolfman growled as he slammed his cane into the ground, sending an eruption of water to drown the lone Beetank in a flash. Tensing his muscles, he rushed at the remaining Spookys, who danced around playfully, before being pummeled in the face with Firehits.

Wolfman barked out a satisfied laugh and sheathed his sword. They were close to their goal now. A few more battles and he would have gathered enough junk data for Victor to enhance Selene's abilities.

"C'mon," he told Selene. "Just a bit more and we'll be done here."

"Alright," Selene responded.

The duo continued deeper into the Net.

((Battle 4, please))
As WolfMan and Selene ventured onwards in a search to strengthen Selene's processes some more, they happened upon a cluster of viruses, just happening to be standing there. They appeared to be doing some sort of skit, with some PulseBats flying about a few Cacty and singing a strange tune of sorts.
