Inside the shop

"Huh? Eh? Whuh?" The head of Suitachi the shopkeep sudddenly popped up over the counter as he sat bolt-upright. "Oh, sorry..." He stood slowly and grabbed a checkered nightcap off from his head. "But it's not like I sleep on a cot in the shop or anything! It was just a nap!" He hurriedly jumbled together the speed upgrade disc, the decorative box, and the obligatory "Suitachi'd" sticker, handing it to the young lady with a more-than-obsequious bow. Somewhere in the flurry of hands, the money had disappeared from the counter. "Run along, now! I'm awake!"
The door chimed open again prompting Desmond to barge in and shake off his wet jacket.

"Seriously," he said, "HAD to start raining like that right after I leave."

From the slightly wet PET, Tennisman added "The weather forecast was incorrect."

"Yeah I never check that crap. It's always wrong." Desmond replied, making his way to the chip counter.

He didn't have to check over the stock, knowing exactly what he was going to get.

"Hi, can I get 2 HP Memories and a Navi Customizer Expansion? Thanks." Desmond said with a cheeky sort of grin.

A flash of surprise replaced his happy expression as he added, "Oh right, here's 3500 zenny. Sorry."

((After installation I will be at level 5, meaning I can use these sig vouchers I've been carrying forever.))

Yet another revelation seemed to come to Desmond as he quickly fished out his wallet and started searching for something else. After a few moments of digging and rearrangements of various cards, he plucked out two wrinkled vouchers.

"I also have these umm... Process Upgrade coupons. Did they expire yet?" Desmond asked.
"Hm..."

Suitachi gathered the materials as the two opportunities came, and took the zenny and vouchers respectively. He seemed rather sulky, perhaps caught up in his thoughts...

GET:

HP Memoryx2
NaviCust Expansion
Process Upgrade Level 1
Process Upgrade Level 2

LOSE:

3500z
Process Upgrade Vouchers
"And now we're broke." Desmond stated, putting his wallet back into his pocket.

"I appreciate the modifications you have added for my expense," Tennisman said, "at the cost of your own."

"Nah, no worries," replied Desmond, "Besides, you make this money yourself anyways so like..." His voice trailed off as he laughed nervously. Tennisman made no reply.

"Kay', let's go back home." Desmond said.

He turned to Suitachi as he left the store and said, "Thanks! I'll probably be back later!"

The door chimed again as the operator stepped back out into the rain.
A new e-mail arrives in Suitachi's inbox.

Subject: Purchase?
Name: BlackBird

Sorry to bother you like this, but I couldn't quite find the online shopping area for your stock. I've reviewed what you have for sale and there are a few things I'd like to purchase. Unforunately, space constraints restrict me from arriving in person. I suppose I'm grabbing at straws trying to purchase items like this, but it's very important that I receive the following as quickly as possible.

Rank 1 Speed Upgrade - 5,000 Zenny
Rank 1 HP Memory Upgrade - 1,000 Zenny
Rank 2 HP Memory Upgrade - 1,500 Zenny

Total: 7,500 Zenny

If I could receive these via internet download, this would be fantastic. Again, the sooner the better. For billing, refer to my e-bank data below. As a public business, you should be able to organize a billing rather easily, or so I hope.

E-Bank Account: 198543
Identification Code: ***** - *** - ****

(Or, quite simply, buy 1 Speed Upgrade and 2 HP Upgrades for 7,500 Zenny, subtracting from my current funds.)
(Immah let this one slide, but I'm pretty sure you have to come in personally to buy stuff.
And, if you're in a battle, the upgrades don't take effect until the battle's over.)

Suitachi yawned as the e-mail came in, taking the upgrades and downloading them into his own PET. While the large files attached to the mail, he wrote:

Hello, Blackbird. Not too interpersonal, are you? Meh. Whatever works, I guess. Just remember, don't install these during a Battle Routine. It could cause major errors, and possibly delete your navi.
Have fun!

He sent the mail, and pulled the 7500z from the transaction as well.
(My thanks to whoever allowed this. I know the usual procedure is to come in person, but I simply couldn't find a way for my character to get from Netopia to Scilabs and it being a decent reason, just to get some programs he could possibly purchase somewhere else, y'know? How far is Netopia from Scilabs anyways?)

You have no idea how much this is appreciated. Thanks for being so accomodating, it's been a pleasure doing business with you. There shouldn't be any issues with installation, my PET s currently in standby and comitting itself to the auto-repair function. I'll wait till it's over to install these, just in case. Again, my thanks. With luck, I may just be able to make my next purchase in person. Until then, good luck in your business ventures.
timmy walked into the shop and layed down 5000z on the counter.

"I'll take a level two process upgrade."
(bump)
(bump again)
"Hm?" Suitachi looked up at the glasses wearing youth standing next to the counter. "Oh, quite sorry. I didn't see your there. You have to speak up young man as I am afraid you don't make much of an appearance. Rather plain, yes. A Lvl 2 Process Upgrade? Not at all. What you need is confidence! A little confidence will go a long way in making you a man to be respected. What do you say? Confidence? Just 10,000z?" The Navi Shop owner smiled to himself as he awaited the boy's response, but a chirping in his ear interrupted his thoughts. He pressed a finger to his ear and spoke into a hidden microphone.

"What? Only around 7,000z total? You sure? Could we offer him a deal? No go eh? Fine, fine." Suitachi turned back to Timmy and grabbed a Lvl 2 Process Upgrade instead. "Here's your Process Upgrade. Now get out of here until you have some real money. A man can't have confidence if he is fresh from begging on the streets. Go go, I have some reading to do."

Suitachi took the 5,000z and transfered it to the store account. He waited for Timmy to leave before once more reaching from the strange box of confidence hidden behind the counter.

[Timmy: Lvl 2 Upgrade Get! 5,000z Lose!]
timmy left quietly, he knew the shopkeeper was on something.
Aida gave a bow and left to ACD town.
Bones walked in slowly, his stide carrying him about as far as a normal person going at a faster pace. He seemed like he was down and sad, but inside he was jumping for joy. He was about to buy two Navi Custom Expansions and one HP Memory but he wasn't going to show his excitement.

"One HP Memory which should be 1500, and two Navi Cust Expansions which sould be 2500. Coming to 4000 exactly dude, but if you don't think I have enough then I'll prove you wrong."

Bones showed Suitachi his account and was ready to transfer the money. He was waiting for his programs from Suitachi.
Suitachi ambled out of the back fo the shop, glaring at Bones as he made the "prove you wrong" comment.
Prove ME wrong? Oh, nonono. I AM ALWAYS RIGHT!
Then, getting the zennies and leaving the upgrades, he ran cackling into the back of the shop once more.
"Thanks dude, your a bigger help to the operators of this generation then any other. Just making you feel bigger then you should, but at least you don't look down on yourself." Bones said as he began to walk towards the door. He wasn't staying long after and quickly rushed out leaving a metaphorical trail of dust behind him.
Anthony walked in, and put a card on the desk. "A speed upgrade, please." he said, his voice showed he was still somewhat aggravated from earlier.
(PRETEND I'M SUITACHI.
ALSO, KEEP ZENNY OUTSIDE TABS. KTHX)

Please!? Suitachi replied, stunned. NO PLEASES ARE NEEDED IN HERE! Take your "PLEASE" elsewhere!
Pulling out the upgrade, and taking the zenny, he shooed Anthony away.
Now, begone! Your politeness is wierding me out!
Steve wandered into to the store, still slightly jazzed after his battle with Valkyrie. Druidman was still in recovery mode, so Steve decided to spend the time upgrading Druidman with more magic. Chips, while powerful and easy to obtain, were not a true measure of a Navi's power, as he had just learned.

"One Level Two Process Updrage, please." He said, through yet another wave of deja vu.

((-5000Z))
AGAIN WITH THE PLEASE! WHAT IS IT WITH YOU PEOPLE?! Came a yell from the back of the shop, as the upgrade flew onto the counter. Looking down at his PET, Steve sees his account 5000z lighter. The hell...?
