Front Counter

Soryu rolled up to the counter in a wheeled-office chair, chair back facing forward, the shopkeeper folded both arms over the top of the headrest as he took the money from Dave and Sabrina.

"Two Energybombs and one ColdPunch, coming right up!" Soryu announced happily. Gee, he's in a good mood. At any rate, the silver-haired man set down two Energybombs in front of Dave and one ColdPunch in front of Sabrina.

"Have a nice day~ <3" Soryu waved, grinning happily for some reason, at the operators. He raised an eyebrow at J.T., then started wheeling around the back of the store.

"Thanks!" - said Dave. Then he picked up the chips, put them in his pocket, and started walking towards the door.
"Hey, Raider! We've got new weapons to try. What do you think?" - he said.
"I can't wait to fire them. Let's make a shooting test as soon as possible." - came the answer.
"Whoa, don't be so hasty, We've got another thing to do today" - Dave replied, and opened the door. Suddenly he looked back for some reason.
"Hmm ... I like the ambience here" - he thought and walked out the shop fliping his 'lucky' coin.

Walking into the shop once again, Rose didn't really bother absorbing the going-ons around her. I've been here before, so what I'm really interested in this time is the stock. She thought.

Upon reaching the front desk, she noticed, as was marked, that there were some new chips. Checking them out, she found that they were just the ones she had requested last time she was here.

"Hey, Soryu, when did you get these knife chips? You didn't do it just for me, did you?" She asked, playfully. She quickly extracted the correct amount of money and readied it for his taking.

"I'd like the ElecKnife, thanks." Rose said, as she waited for the clerk to ring up her sale and give her the chip, regardless of where he may currently be.

"Ah, well, they're suddenly mass producing these things too, so they sent them out to my family's shops. Nifty, eh?" Soryu commented sheepishly, taking the money and putting it in the register before handing over the chip.

"Have a nice day," the sharoian said, waving lazily at Rose.

"Thanks again, Soryu. You're the best." Rose said.

"Thanks, and you too." She replied to his general instruction to have a nice day, as she walked out the door.

So this was Soryu's store? Average, spiffy, nothing out of the ordinary, Keera didn't say a thing, not even comment as she walked in. It was all business as she approached the counter slowly while her head reeled around each and every way taking in the surroundings. She had leaned over as she signed a slip ordering a MiniEnergy, a FullEnergy, and an Unlocker Subchip as she needed to stack upon supplies. She had placed the card upon the counter containing just the right amount money to send her into the perfect zero value after the transaction was done. That being 2,600 Zenny.

"Hrm? What's this? A silent customer, a FEMALE silent customer? Don't get many of those these days," Soryu gawked, scratching his bed head gray hair while wheeling up to the counter and examining the slip...

before falling asleep.

A minute later, Linkman noticed this and sent out a huge whistle that shattered eardrums in the nearby vicinity, startling Soryu awake, who was drooling in his sleep, and making the Sharoian fall over, off his chair.

"Agh... that hurt," the shopkeeper groaned, scratching the back of his head as he processed Keera's order. Putting the subchips on the table, he remarked, "Have a nice day." This was followed by a sheepishly, friendly wave.

And Keera's wallet was empty. >:

Keera had tucked the card in her pocket. She'd most likely get more Zenny through some more battles and hard ships, so it didn't worry her a bit. The bounty hunter had gestured her head towards the door as she walked away letting her black heels strike the floor with the tone filled walk of a lady.

JT turned back to the counter, his netbattle finished, and placed a cred-chip on the counter with 2400 Zenny loaded in it. "I'd like to purchase an ElecKnife battlechip, please."

"SOCKET!" shouted Soryu from upstairs as loud footsteps were heard from the stairs. "I'll be right there!" he shouted for the few seconds he was in sight, blood coming from his right hand.

A few seconds later, he came with bandages around his right hand to stop the blood. "ElecKnife, wasn't it?" he said and looked down at the wound, "I can explain this... I kind of 'screwed' with 'friction', know what I mean?"

"But I'm blathering," he ended with and looked around for the chip, it was rather messy behind the counter. Eventually he came to the counter again with the chip in his left hand and put it on the table while taking the cred-chip off of it. "You're trying to get your Navi in gear for some fist-to-fist fighting, huh?" he asked as he finalized the money transfer.

Looking at the time, he gasped and turned to JT, "Sorry. I've got to make my food or my stomach will cave in. I'm having horseradish today!" He walked away, as he continued to talk to himself, "What is horseradish...?"

"Thanks." Jared replied as he put the chip in his home-made chip case, turned, and walked out of the shop.

A figure wobbled through the front door with a large white box in his hands. It staggered across the shop where it settled the box on the floor. Roy straightened up, wiping sweat from his flushed face and mumbling about carrying the damned thing all over the damned place.

He pulled a folded piece of paper out of his pocket after catching his breath and faced the shop keeper.

"H-hi. Er, could I get, eh, two powershots, two, uh, minibombs and an energy bomb please?", he puffed, massaging his arms.

"Sure, just a sec," Soryu said, grimacing at Roy's package as he rolled around the store in his office chair, taking the ordered chips and putting them into a package of his own. He threw it at Roy, waving, "Have a nice day."

Roy's 3100z seemed to be gone as well.

Roy grimaced as the thrown chip bag slid off his face, leaving it marred with irritation and fatigue. It also restarted his eye's maddening twitch.

"W-well... thanks.", he mumbled. He picked the bag off the floor and crammed it into his inside jacket pocket, along with the shopping list. Once again, he hefted the large crate up and against his chest, exiting the premises with a weighty stumble.

Rose decided to once more grace the shop with her presence, barely paying attention as she walked in. "Just a quick stop here, then off to the Navi Shop." she thought with a grin.

"Hey there." She called out to the Shop clerk, as she walked to the counter. "Any chance you want to get me a two RockCube chips?" She requested. She then recalled her last battle, and quickly added, "And an Escape Subchip, please."

She readied the payment and waited patiently for the transaction.

"So, two RockCubes and an Escape..." He pulls the chips from under the counter and grabs the subchip from a drawer on the wall. He then places it in a small paper bag, and hands it to Rose.
"Have a nice day!"

"Thanks, You too!" Rose said, as she grabbed the bag off the counter and made her exit from the store.

The door opens and Henry walks in, looking at the list of available chips as he does so. "Hey, just checking out this place, but I think that I'll get a cannon." He waits for the shopkeeper to get the chip while getting out the zenny for the cannon.

"A Cannon, huh? That's an odd chip to buy. Whatever..." Soryu mused, taking one out and putting it on the counter. "So... 750z... and..." the shopkeeper began before swiping Henry's PET and deducting the amount from his account and handing it back.

"Have a nice day," the Sharoian said cheerfully.
