Supah, SMAAAAAAAASH Brothuuuuurs!

So it turns out I have 4 days to practice with Ness and Yoshi before I drive to Anaheim for Round 2.

...Yeah.

-Twi

(PS: I used to main Samus, but then they gimped her Final Smash with ZSS, who I'm horrible with.)
Ness and Yoshi? Ick, I'd rather practice with ZSS.

At any rate, good luck, Twi!

Hey, when you win this round, you should TOTALLY yell out the URL of here. How's THAT for advertising? XD
Don't underestimate Yoshi, I got stuck with him in Round 1 and still pulled through alright.

-Twi
I haven't seen C. Falcon ONCE.
C'MON GAISE.

FAAAALCOOOON...
PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNCH!!!
D:

Stupid fucking Wiimote+Nunchuck. I so would've won the final match of my Round 1 with a GC controller. D'X

Ah well.

Anywho, my old mains were Fox, Jigglypuff and Marth/Roy (They were always pretty much the same to me, just that Roy was more fair/fun to play as.), So I think I'll be sticking to Fox, Jig and Marth, while trying to pick up Sonic, MetaKnight, Pit and ROB(lulz), as they all seem like pretty awesome chars, with ROB being more on the jawsome side.

Also, from what I've seen on YouTube, Twi, Falco seems to be pretty different from Fox, and I'd even fare to say that he's pretty rigged with respects to his blaster, twirly-slap attacks, etc. XD

But idk.

Actually, when you think about it, Lucario is not very fast at all. Only his Up-B and Down-B involve any speed, the rest are nice, steady, strong attacks.

That's what I was saying. Those speedy counte attacks just about parry attacks and allow a good counter. His recovery isn't bad either, but it's nothing like Sonic's.

Little blue batard spring jumps. XP
When playing Sonic, I find me fighting myself more than the others, because I'm constantly flying too high with his Spring, or bolting past the edge of the screen with his run/moves. Half the time, I'm not even sure where the hell I'm at when playing Sonic.

And, while I'm here, how the HELL do you unlock Jigglypuff? I checked online, and it says either SSE, Event Match 20, or beat Classic Mode. I've beat Classic mode TEN times, and beaten Event 20 FIVE times, and no challenge at all.

Jigglypuff? Go to the Swamp in Subspace Emissary, the level with the Giant Diddy Kong, after you beat the main story. Go through the level like normal up until the point where you beat the boss. Right after is a level with a whole bunch of slider platforms. Continue on past the point where you fight a bunch of Hammer Bros, where you start getting into the cannons. At this point I'd advise swimming instead of using the barrels to travel. Soon after you should get to a platform in between two cannons with a door floating a few feet up. Go in that to fight Jigglypuff and unlock her. Be advised that if you blast past this door, its a bitch to maneuver back through the cannons again.

Be advised, if this is too much trouble for you, you can always go to the Event Brawls and beat the first 20 (Beat all first 20 and don't skip to it.) under easy mode settings since you don't want to constantly going through the trouble of repeating Majin's steps over again. I hated going through that world myself. This happens only after you beat SSE story though. JigglyPuff should appear, if not, I think another condition to set is beating Classic mode. I don't know, it just happened for me.
I've already beaten the first 20 Events on all of the difficulties, and beaten Classic with 12 characters, on all difficulties except Intense. I haven't finished SSE yet, either. Bleh. I also can't get Toon Link unlocked. Gamefaqs says beat classic with Link. I did that once, and got challenged by Ganondorf, I go through it again, no challenges at all.

Do I need to beat SSE for the secondary methods to work? I'd prefer not to fight another 250 Brawl matches by myself.
Problem solved!

Before you unlock any other of the characters using secondary methods, you need to beat SSE Storyline, pronto!
Really? I unlocked a few characters before doing SSE....

I'm at the Maze right now. Damn that's annoying.
If any of those characters happen to be Ness, Sonic, Luigi, Lucario, Snake, Captain Falcon, and anyone besides Wolf, JigglyPuff, and Toon Link, that's because they join you on SSE and are unlocked when they join the party, but you can also unlock others by brawling numerous times and clearing other conditions.
That's fucking retarded. I unlocked EVERYONE else the other way, but those three I can't? Bullshit. Forcing people to play SSE first is stupid. Let me play my game how I want to play it, not the way you tell me to.

I know, I know. It's a pain when you have to redo things to try and get them too like play classic all over again to get Toon Link, or go through that hell of a stage to get Star Wolf. Just have to be patient which is quite the bother.
It seems as through everyone has unlocked different people doing different things. I, too, played with Link through the Classic mode, and got no Toon Link OR Gannondorf.
Toon Link, Wolf, and Jiggly all require that you BEAT SSE TO UNLOCK THEM using the 'easy' methods or the ones where you unlock them in SSE.

Also, Steve, beating SSE is easy-- I beat it and then I just unlocked those three through the SSE levels.

...It's really not as hard to get to them as I thought it would be, honestly.

If you don't have Ganondorf now, then you haven't beat SSE Story, and you can't get Toon Link in Classic unless you use Link and have beat SSE.

It's all really easy when you get down to it. At least you didn't have to complete crap like break the targets using all the charries and stuff. That's frustrating. I was going crazy hearing that "Ping" sound everyday!
The crowd chant for Snake is "Snake. Snake! SNAAAAAAAAAAKE!"

I lol'd. Hard.

And got stared at by everybody else in the family.

But I continued loling.

You're not the only one EN. XP

I noticed some of the chants like "Go, Go, Sooonic!" and I couldn't really pronounce Olimar or whatever his name is until I heard crowd chant it a while.

On another note...

I got a Gardevoir trophy today! Yays!!!!

I know Trophies aren't all that important except for getting stuff, but I like the fact one of them was Gardevoir.
