I second that. Twi has the ability to view IP if an instance of cloning does occur. The regular members of the chat would not clone anyway, at least not with intent to harm. If we change our names as part of a joke, we announce it.

If it's such a serious impediment to an otherwise regular member, I say it isn't worth it when you can just break out the IP viewer and board history.
How often does something like that happen, anyway? Aside from the Twi incident on the old board (which is impossible now, no one can impersonate the admin) and the aforementioned caper involving one English Mistress, it seems nothing more than a very rare annoyance.
