Much like other people before me, I'm creating this pair for now...then instantly shelving them. At least I did it in time for the giveaway.

Appearance: At 5'10" and 157 lbs., Horatio seems like an average Creamlander, albeit one fairly tanned. He appears to be in slightly above average shape, though he certainly doesn't seem like he could run a marathon. Truth be told, however, he could, and quite easily at that.

He sports well-trimmed light brown hair, though strands of gray can be seen here and there. The same can be said for his most notable facial feature, a rather large handlebar mustache that extends to the end of his face. Though it's no different from a regular one shapewise, he possesses a rather large nose. His eyes are light blue, and despite having a fair number of years on them, they could rival a hawk's in capability.

His clothing of choice is simple: a stereotypical khaki safari outfit, complete with pith helmet. The latter is usually not worn on the head, however, and a very loose chin strap keeps it on his back without choking him. On his shirt's pocket is his Navi's emblem, a stylized, simplified witch doctor's mask.

Oddly, there is a very large, dehabilitating scar on the palm of his right hand. While one would presume he acquired it somewhere in the Netfrican savannah or Yumlandian jungles, he actually acquired it far earlier in his life.

Personality: A jovial man that loves animals, both in the real and cyber worlds. He possesses a constant thirst for adventure, which has resulted in many a camera focus on him in his lifetime. His boisterousness can be offputting to some, but has a tendency to win over most.

History: The tiny, industrialized country of Creamland isn't where one would expect a famous zoological show to be produced, but it was where Horatio Wilde was born to a wealthy family. When he was young, they would often take family trips to far off places, where he became enchanted by local wildlife. At first, he desired to become a veterinarian, to take care of animals, but as a result of a car accident when he was a child, his right hand was too damaged to handle the precision needed of an animal doctor. Instead, he decided on a different path: to show the world the joys he had felt as a boy in whatever way he could.

Being extremely wealthy, his family had little trouble setting him up with a television show on DNN, Electopia's most well-known station. However, the ratings were poor, and the show was quickly cancelled. Not one to concede defeat, he campaigned to regain his show, but with a twist: he would continue to explore the animal kingdom...but his Navi would also have a similar segment on viruses. It took time, but eventually the station caved, and his new show proved a hit, as the various denizens of both worlds were showcased. To this day, 'Wilde Things' remains on the air, and Horatio still travels the world, to give the world a glimpse of the myriad of life living on it...

As of late, however, he and his Navi developed an idea. Throughout the various Nets, there existed some viruses that could be taught to be unmalicious. Not many, but they indeed existed. As a result, they assumed a new task as they filmed: to find these viruses, and place them in a special cyber sanctuary, allowing them to live their days out in peace...without their battle capabilities, of course. Recently, they have acquired financial backing in this endeavor, and are free to commence seeking their unique new goal...

PET Modifications: A Link PET in khaki monochrome. It has sophisticated GPS programming, and can take in even the weakest signals; perfect for someone frequently far away from civilization.

Appearance: If one wasn't careful, they might mistake ShamanMan as an inanimate object. His entire being, from head to toe, consists of black armor resembling a wizard's robe, far too rigid to be mere cloth. Black gloved hands occasionally peek out from the ends of the sleeves, though at other times he appears to be content letting his outfit conceal them entirely.

The one exception is his face...or what essentially acts as it. An ornate, brightly colored witch doctor's mask covers whatever opening in the armor would be up there, with straw decoration ensuring that anyone trying to peek around the side will meet utter failure. There are two slots where the eyes would be, but only two red, glowing sphere can be seen through them, with no obvious signs of life. His emblem can be found in the middle of the mask's forehead.

Personality: Most would think a Navi of his apperance would be cold and distant...yet ShamanMan is actually quite talkative and sociable. He can, however, occasionally display poor etiquette, most likely due to spending long stretches with little interaction other than his operator and crew. Like his operator, he has a love of animals, even data-based ones best known for attempting to kill his own kind. Despite his name, he has a definite focus on the here and now, instead of those existing on a different plane.

Custom Weapon: By utilizing BattleChips, ShamanMan can conjure temporary battle images of viruses to do his bidding for him. If he receives a Cannon, he can create a Canodumb to shoot an enemy. If he receives a FireHit, he can create a Champy to punch an enemy. However, they are essentially just 'spirits', and cannot be used to absorb hits, or do anything else beyond the chip's parameters. They are quite friendly to Navis, however.

Aside from this, he can use his knowledge of the arcane to shoot off bursts of magic, via both the buster and signature systems.

Signature Attack: Tranquil Magic - ShamanMan uses a spell that soothes (and slightly harms) the savage beast, lulling them into inaction. (30, Sleep, Self Slow) (80/60) (2 TCD)

So, since I have four slots, and don't feel like using SharpMan, I'll be bringing out yet ANOTHER pair. One half of which may look...familiar to many people.

Operator
Name: Leslie Battle
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance: At 5'9" and 135 lbs., Leslie doesn't seem too far off the norm...at least, not in terms of body shape or appearance, though she is more muscular than most girls her age.

Her outfit is a bit more...atypical, as it's simply a standard white karategi jacket with bicycle shorts, with sneakers for footwear, and hand wraps around her hands. She typically keeps the jacket open, despite normally having nothing underneath aside from a sports bra. When entering public places like restaurants, however, she will usually wear it properly so that no one will get on her for doing otherwise. Oddly, she typically wears the belt (black, of course) as a headband, instead of as a, well, belt.

She possesses brown eyes, and shoulder-length brown hair. Again, it's the clothes that are offbeat.

Personality: Leslie is, above all else, a very driven young woman. It doesn't matter what, she seeks to be the best in whatever it is she's doing. She tends to be rather blunt and honest when dealing with others, and these traits tend to give her the appearance of being simplistic. She doesn't mind, however, believing that there's nothing wrong with a girl going after what she wants, without letting anything get in her way.

PET Modifications: Surprisingly for something with as 'macho' a hobby as Leslie, she possesses a pink Progress PET with black trim. It's kept in a special casing that softens impacts, which is good whenever there's a misaimed punch.

Appearance: Martia stands at a Net height of 5'8", and weighing a measly 110 lbs., mostly due to the looser physics of the cyberworld.

Martia's outfit chooses to eschew the traditional appearance of a keikogi, in favor of something that grants maximum movement for all sorts of martial arts. Her top is made of modified Navi armor material, made to be more flexible than usual, and appears to be reminiscent of a pink, sleeveless karategi jacket. Though there is no opening in the front beyond the neckline, it possesses gold trim to give the appearance of a traditional garment. A black belt-like accessory appears around her waist, containing her emblem as a buckle: a pink forearm performing an uppercut against a black background. Her arms and torso area not covered by her top are instead covered in traditional thin, black Navi armor. Pink gloves cover her hands and part of the forearm.

Her lower body is covered entirely in the thinner variety of armor, but is instead pink in color, unlike the arms. Oddly, her boots are also pink, with only a strip of gold to visually separate them.

She wears pink headgear, more reminiscent of protective headgear used in boxing or other martial arts than a helmet. A wide pink stripe circles around her head, with ear flaps that contain her emblem, and an additional flap to protect the back of the head. The top remains open to allow air in and keep her cool, which shows off her blonde hair. She has the option to add a chin strap and mouth guard to it with a simple thought, though this only occurs during certain battles. Despite otherwise being fairly practical for fighting, a long thin ponytail extends from the bottom of her headgear down to her ankles.

Personality: Much like her operator, Martia lives for the thrill of competition. Unlike Leslie, however, she's less obsessed with total mastery of her skills, preferring to simply enjoy the moment in the limelight. She greatly enjoys learning various types of fighting, which she subsequently puts to good use.

Custom Weapon: Some Navis use swords. Others specialize guns. Martia...relies on her own body to get the job done, using punches and kicks as her default method of attack.

Signature Attack: None. ...Wait, what? While her signature system is fine, at the moment Martia has no sig moves. Just 60 spare points...

Background: Ever since she was a little girl, Leslie was fascinated by martial arts, having been raised in a famous karate dojo in DenCity, run by her parents. When she was 10, however, her mother was killed in a car accident, and though her father continued to run the dojo, it was clear that his heart wasn't into it as it had been. Between this and her possessing an abundance of talent, within a year Leslie was the dojo's master in all but name. In recent years, her father had regained enough sense to take command again, though everyone knew that the daughter was the driving force behind the dojo's continued existence.

Several months ago, in a flash of brilliance, Leslie decided to expand the dojo into the Net. However, since both she and her father only had NormalNavis, one of them had to convert theirs into a custom Navi. Taking charge, she had hers modified into a skilled, yet easy to look at, fighter Navi, Martia. Business boomed as word spread about a pretty girl Navi teaching the art of close combat, which proved to be an extremely difficult combination for some to pass up. It has recently come to their collective attention, however, that for all of her skill, Martia's power levels were...severely lacking. To that end, they seek to traverse all areas of the Net, to practice fighting, and perhaps pick up a trick or two from foes...

Behold, as I shelve SmogMan, and create a new Navi in the process...and not only is it a male with a full face, but his operator is male as well! Truly, I am breaking down all the barriers!

Name: Roderick Franklin
Age: 39
Gender: Male
Appearance: At 5'11", Roderick comes across as a typical Netopian businessman, with a normal build; neither fat nor athletic.
- While he possesses normal, short blonde hair, his facial hair manages to draw some attention. Specifically, his mustache extends clear off his face to in front of his ears, and is straight and pointy to the point where some poor visioned individuals wonder if he just taped a pair of yellow needles to his face. He also possesses a more typical, unpointed goatee. His eyes are dark brown.
- His usual attire of choice is a simple dark gray three piece suit, with a slightly lighter gray vest and tie, and brown shoes. While not normally seen, the lower part of his tie contains LightningMan's emblem.
Personality: Above all else, Roderick Franklin craves power. Though he has worked from humble beginnings to achieve great success, it simply is not enough, and is willing to do anything to achieve it. It's a shame, as aside from that, he'd just be a kind, hard working man.
PET Modifications: A yellow Progress PET with black trim. It's been modified to have incredible speed at copying accessed data, and is nigh impossible to hack into.

Appearance: LightningMan stands at 6'7", excluding his spikes. These two things often make him come across as intimidating to the easily spooked, and it's not something he particularly minds.
- That said, his basic head design is fairly simple, as its base appearance is simply a typical helmeted head, with a golden yellow helmet. However, extending from each earflap is a lightning rod-like spike that extends about a foot upwards and back. An accompanying tiny one extends down and forward. From the front, an even larger lightning rod extends at a slightly more vertical angle approximately 18 inches. They are all capable of shooting electricity.
- His chest and upper back is covered with yellow Navi armor, and it contains his emblem; two lightning bolts converging on a single point, forming a general V-shape. His shoulders also contain such armor, but extending from them are 2 foot long lightning rods at 45 degree angles. His forearms also have the armor, and he wears boots that appear to be made of the same material.
- The rest of his body, aside from his face, is covered in thinner, black Navi armor.
Personality: Above all else, LightningMan believes himself to be superior to all others...or will be, anyway, once he's powered up again. Despite this, he tends to be surprisingly benevolent to his underlings, so long as they know who's in charge. He has just enough of a sadistic streak to enjoy some of the shadier aspects of his job.
Custom Weapon: LightningMan is capable of freely generating and launching electricity, as his name would indicate. He also can fire generic buster shots if needed.
Signature Attack:

LightningMan summons a thunderbolt that paralyzes the target for a short period. Due to his current lack of power, it places a little strain on him, something he resents.

History
Roderick "Rod" Franklin grew up in a lower middle class family. Displeased at how much he couldn't do simply due to their lack of money, he began to work hard after graduating high school, founding a PET research and development company, FranklinTech. After a few years, it began to take off, and he soon found himself as the CEO of a multi-national corporation. But he remained unsatisfied, somehow. Despite his power and money, he desired...more. His solution was a simple one. There were people all over the world that undoubtedly desired change in the world. A new order. And surely he, who made a global multi-billion zenny enterprise from a venture that began in a single, dank apartment, couldn't do any worse than the present governments.

Of course, while being ruler of the world was appealing, it would be wise to hedge his bets, so that he didn't lose all that he'd already acquired, as creating organizations with the main purpose of making you the king of the world were frowned upon in society, and no one simply walked up to the world's leaders and told them they were let go. To that end, he secretly utilized some of FranklinTech's greatest technologies, and created a Navi that would answer only to him, and could serve as a figurehead from which he could issue orders through. Due to its electrical abilities and lightning rod-like spikes, he called the Navi LightningMan. Shortly afterward, Franklin decided that, due to the continuing expansion of the internet, that it would be best to focus his efforts on taking control of the Net, since humanity would be virtually powerless without it. Through LightningMan, he discovered some people that had similar world views, and brought them together to form the Baneful Infantry of Online Supremacy, or BIOS, for short. Its goal was simple: to reboot the cyberworld, and by extension, the real world, in a brand new image run by it.

But just as the organization was truly beginning to crystalize, the PET that held LightningMan was ransacked by a traitorous member, essentially turning the 'leader' making him a beginner Navi. But Roderick Franklin was not a man that gave up that easily. Despite having publicly vowed that he would never obtain a personal Navi, so that his works would benefit all of Navikind and not just himself, and not just his own Navi, he secretly made LightningMan his very own Navi, and hid the fact from the public. That way, he could personally oversee his upgrading, without the risk of accountants noticing that a couple million zenny just instantly vanished. BIOS, however, soon caught wind of their leader's power down...but in a surprising display of unity, virtually all elected to remain in full support of him, and his mysterious new operator, and the few dissenters either suddenly changed their minds, or were beset by an 'accident'.

Under the guise of a vacation, Roderick has come to Electopia to train up LightningMan and expand the ranks of BIOS, due to its fervent NetBattle scene. In addition, FranklinTech is virtually unknown in Electopia (it mostly operates in Netopia, Creamland, and Sharo), thus allowing him to move much more freely than he could otherwise.
