Suddenly surrounded by hostile viruses, Juno identified one of the more problematic targets and struck first. the ring of crackling energy ensnared the hovering virus, creating a brief mesh of tethered electricity between it and the ground, before Juno's followup buster shot removed it from the network. One down.
The two tanks trundled in closer, each lobbing an arcing shell that angled towards Juno and her little friend. One seemed to be a misfire, and it exploded spectacularly in the air halfway towards them, but the other burst into a small range explosion that briefly engulfed both the astronaut and the little metool nearby. Only slightly singed herself, a brief glance showed Juno that the little guy's helmet had protected him easily enough from the blast.
Darting back towards the way they'd come, her next goal was to knock out the scarecrow. as she readied her drill, an enthusiastic 'Meep!' echoed behind her, and a flying pickaxe whipped past Juno's shoulder to clock the stationary virus in the head with a thunk. It didn't seem to do too much damage, but it was something. The metool tilted its head slightly, as though reaching up with an imaginary hand, and the weapon popped back into existence beside him. Seeing Juno taking off, however, the small virus hurriedly began to run after her.
The scarecrow retaliated just before Juno could reach it with her own attack; a bolt of lightning struck down from the open sky above, regenerating the small amount of damage it had taken, before blasting a line of electricity outwards up the centre of the field. Juno managed to dodge out of the way of the bolt of energy, but her little friend wasn't quite as nimble. The met let out a small squeal of shock as he got zapped, but fortunately for both of them, his erratic running had been taking him over one of the less metallic areas at that moment.
A second alter, Juno connected with her drill, punching a hole through the scarecrow's midsection. Fortune wasn't quite with her plans, however, as the virus was so securely anchored to the ground that the drill force couldn't push it back at all, and she wasn't able to capitalise on its repeat-drilling capabilities this time.
The tanks trundled in closer, forming up in the centre of the field as they tracked with Juno's movements, and fired again. The small met had skidded to a halt just beside the piece of wreckage that Juno was taking cover behind, and managed to duck under his helmet again just in time. Juno, meanwhile, threw herself behind the derelict structure ans the bombs exploded on the far side, making it rock.
For a brief moment, it seemed like she had a second to breath, and Juno charged energy to her buster in a hurry, but as she did, the sky cracked with another lightning bolt, and a lance of piercing electricity burst through the side of her shelter. It missed Juno herself; it seemed the scarecrow couldn't quite see her and was guessing. The bolt scorched over her metool friend, but once again the little guy's helmet did its safety-conscious job.
The sounds of hostile viruses didn't let up, and on top of the ones Juno could already hear, more sounds drew closer... from somewhere beyond her cover, she made out the sound of a high pitched buzzing, and several rapidly jumping footfalls.
-=Disturbed Residents=-ScarecrowScarecrow (Scarecrow)
Scarecrow attack every action, if able. Every time they attack, they recover HP equal to their attack power regardless of whether or not they hit anything. This virus type also has the rare ability to absorb Elec element damage as healing for the same amount. They are immune to any status effects associated with Elec element damage/attacks. Scarecrows are anchored to the ground, and thus enjoy the effects of SuperArmor. Scarecrow are never encountered underground or indoors.

MagTectMagTect (MagTect)
MagTect move and dodge at slightly above average speed. In spite of the fact that they have wings, and hover above the ground, they are still subject to the effects of the terrain below. Regardless, they are very dangerous thanks to their ability to exert control over enemy movements with pincer attacks and magnetic pull effects. They know how to use these effects, too. MagTects avoid liquid terrain types if at all possible, as they do not function well at all if forcibly submerged.

ElebeeElebee (Elebee)
Elebee viruses move and dodge at a high rate of speed, and they are fully flight capable. Elebee viruses attack by flying at their target at high speed, and delivering an electric sting. This type of virus may opt to stop short of the target, and veer sharply in a new direction to avoid an attack. This requires the expenditure of a second action, but occurs very rapidly regardless. Movement and attacking are one and the same with regards to this virus, thus physical contact with them causes damage. Elebees can see through Invis.
