The path was certainly convenient, she had to admit. It's warm glow certainly felt nice, especially considering she was so used to using solar energy on her own anyways. It was a nice reprieve, with the tower in the distance certainly something to aim towards. However, before she could really think too much about what could be going on inside that tower in the distance, the panels up ahead shattered as viruses quickly began to flee from the hole, putting themselves directly in her path.
Two drill-like viruses, rotating rather dangerously about, as well as virus wielding an electric sword of all things, trying to clear the air. For a second, she was hoping they wouldn't notice her until she could prepare or maybe even check out whatever that green flickering light was, but it was too late. With the strange chatter, they all looked at her, and it was too late to attempt any sort of surprise.
"Behind you too!" Luna said as Juno's head quickly whipped around, just in time to see the Metool tossing down a sign to pull up his signature pickaxe after rolling his eyes. What... was he doing with that sign? What did it even say? Did viruses do things other than just cause problems for the net? Questions going through her mind with no immediate answer, she quickly shook her head. This was combat, not a research session! But...
The main worry was the three viruses up ahead, who certainly looked more dangerous than the one behind, but being flanked by them, it was a bad idea to stay put. Wasting no time, with her feet firmly planted on the solar panels beneath her feet, Juno quickly summoned her personal vessel once more, The Atlas forming around her, it's metal sheen already shining with the orange-glow from her buster immediately slamming down onto the console to enhance the ship's overall defense.
"I'm going to send you that new chip we just got! With some of those nasty viruses standing on metal, hopefully they get a real nasty shock!" And with that, suddenly the projectile from before formed within her palm. This time, the bomb seemed definitely active. Not super experienced with explosives, Juno felt almost unsure with the bomb simply resting in her hand. Taking careful aim, hoping that the ship itself would protect her from any virus attacks in the meantime, Juno suddenly tossed the bomb close enough to the trio of viruses, but hopefully not too close to the cave opening to destroy whatever was inside there.
"Backing up!" Not wanting to stay close to these assumable melee-ranged viruses any longer than she had to, Juno had the ship immediately back up at full speed, hopefully moving around the Metool that was almost definitely closer by, ducking down in the ship to hopefully prevent attempts at retaliation for their suddenly explosive attack.
It would be easy to whip out another chip and blast the Metool to data bits, or at least so Juno thought. Especially as Luna loaded up the Shotgun chip for her Navi, she even pointed the weapon directly at the little guy, only to suddenly frown and switch targets immediately and quickly blast in the direction of the hopefully stunned drill viruses, hoping to get at least some collateral damage from the blast. Maybe it was the wrong decision, but something about the way he rolled his eyes, how he even had a sign, her curiosity was just too much, getting the better of her. He was doing something, asides from just trying to hurt people, but what was it?
"Look!" She shouted out the Metool nearby. "You clearly don't look like you wanted to be here! So just... I don't know! Scurry off somewhere else!"
"Juno! What are you doing? You could have just destroyed him!" Her operator responded, immediately confused by Juno's actions.
"I'm not built for virus busting, you know! I see something weird and I investigate! I update old tech! I'm used to fixing things that are broken! Blame curiosity, I guess! The Metool is the least dangerous thing here anyways! Now quick! Give me something else to keep the distance!"
"Uh... Alright, yeah. Here! Zap them good!" Luna was clearly confused, but she wasn't going to argue too much. Quickly loading up the ZapRing1 chip, Juno's buster immediately bulked up with a more circular shape visible in the middle of it. Aiming at whatever virus was closest to her besides the Metool and blasting the ring-like shape of electricity, hopefully frying them to bits.
